OMG. I have wanting to come here for years. Finally made it. Hidden gem. Had the short rib arancini, just wow. 3 large short rib rice balls with shredded short rib and Demi on top. Crazy good. Truffle fries great. And the Dobbins old Fashioned great touch. read more

Today I attended my cousin's fiancé's bridal shower here. The party room was absolutely gorgeous. The food again was disappointing for the price I can imagine they paid. We got 1 entree (chicken) with 2 sides, rice & Brussel sprouts, shrimp and salad. Everything just tasted like garlic... The salad was the best part of the whole meal. There was a ton of desserts to choose from though. The chocolate pastries were very very sweet, too sweet for me personally and I have a sweet tooth!. My family and I had Christmas Eve dinner here and it was our first experience dining here! The atmosphere was so welcoming. They were obviously very busy given it was an event but we only had a short wait. As we waited we were offered some wine which was lovely! The food was to die for. I immediately decided I will have to try to make the whipped ricotta dish at home. We all enjoyed every aspect of our dishes but a very special shout out to the best espresso martini I've ever had. But most of all I want to acknowledge our wonderful and kind server Tatiana. She was so personable and made my entire family feel like we were amongst a friend! We went to Stagecoach Inn last night with our friends and had a great time! The four of us go out to dinner every Friday and were excited to find a restaurant that lived up to our expectations. The service was wonderful and our waitress, Tatiana was fabulous. She suggested appetizers and entrees that we thoroughly enjoyed. Our cocktails were made exactly how we like them, which we rarely get. The food was brought out in a timely fashion but we were absolutely not rushed in any way. The portions were big and the flavors were as described. We were seated in the back room with the fireplace. The ambience was perfect. The room was intimate and made us feel like we were thrown back in time, enjoying a home cooked beautiful meal in someone's gorgeous home. All-in-all, it was a great night. At the risk of sounding like a shill, this is now our new most favorite restaurant. As a Goshen local it is hard to believe our family took so long to eat at this great venue. The food was terrific at our Saturday evening visit. The servings were much larger than expected. My leftovers literally fed me twice on succeeding days. My wife's cobb salad was giant size and loaded {literally} with shrimp, lobster and crab meat. Sadly, it is no longer on the menu. Raise the price and put it back, Please! The service was fine, prompt and inobtrusive, as it should be. The presentation was perfect and everything was hot {or chilled} The ambiance is excellent. Nicely subdued atmosphere. Can't really make up its mind on the ambiance it's going for with 80s pop music, sport on the tv by the bar and upscale food and prices. We were a party of 4. We were seated in a very nicely appointed room that had a fireplace. After at least 10 minutes we were finally brought menus and place our drunk orders. Very slow service. After we ordered it was nearly an hour before we had our entrees. Food was fair but nothing to brag about especially for the price. They served a ny strip steak in what seed to be a bowl , the steak was 2" thick and very hard to cut inside the bowl. Very disappointed to say the least read more

Stayed overnight because we had a wedding close by and definitely recommend!! The rooms are gorgeous and the bathroom was completely renovated. They also use Molton Brown bath products! The grounds are also beautiful and they have lawn chairs for you to sit out and enjoy. Pro tip: theyre suppose to offer continental or hot breakfast. Make sure you call to place your request. Only issue is their staff take off on Monday's so my husband and I did not get breakfast. They only had fruit, coffee and random breads. Major bummer. read more

3.5/5. My boyfriends cousin had her wedding here recently. While this venue has a rustic charm and lush greenery the entree food that was served was mediocre at best. The hors d'oeuvrs were delicious though! The service was decent, bartenders were knowledgeable and I like that they hired local kids to bus the tables. We had a great time taking photos in the back of the inn. There was also plenty of parking. I didn't stay in the rooms upstairs but they did look a little cramped. There's only 1/2 indoor bathrooms and the rest were port potties. I personally would not have my wedding here but I had a decent time. read more

I'm a Goshenite, and have bemoaned for years that Goshen doesn't have a decent restaurant. Well no more. The new chef is a culinary genius. My wife and I had a fantastic experience last weekend. I had the best pork chop I've ever eaten. 2 inches thick and cooked to perfection. Not a dry section on it. My wife had a pasta bolognese that was wonderful. Thursday myself and two girlfriends attended the ladies night out event. We have been here many times. Always a nice outing. This event had a VERY limited menu (which wasn't stated online) 52.00 fixed. Our wine was served in a water glass. They didn't have enough menus for everyone. Food was good but it was COLD. We let several people know. Staff seemed very overwhelmed with the event. Kinda of snapped at us. Shopping part was fun. Large variety of different items. Not sure if I would go again. read more

We needed a quick get-away so we settled on the Stage Coach inn in quiet Goshen NY. It is a cool old school bed and breakfast with a lot of character. I enjoyed the rooms and they had all things necessary for a good stay. They have different rooms you can hang out in like it is your own home. Our favorite was the conservatory and the room with the fireplace. So much fun! The thing that puts this over the edge is the staff. They are very attentive especially the innkeeper Cary Ann who was really great. The staff make this place and it is the reason I would come back. That being said I also want to review the restaurant for both dinner and breakfast. We enjoyed the breakfast/brunch more than the dinner. The breakfast and brunch were delicious. We sat in the conservatory and enjoyed it thoroughly. I had the huevos racheros and my wife had the eggs benedict. It is a perfectly relaxing breakfast that I would go back and do any time. Now for dinner... the type of cuisine they had here looked like american. We started with the buffalo cauliflower but it wasn't really buffalo since it didnt taste like buffalo sauce and didn't have any blue cheese. I didnt understand this dish and it sounds better than it tasted. We then had the pickled veggies and they were meh. The beet and fennel salad had 3 slices of beets in it and the rest was greens. It was pretty much a mesculin salad. For dinner we had the Fish of the day with risotto and asparagus. It was ok but the risotto was more like porridge. The fish was sea bass. Overall, I didn't think the dinner was too good but that didn't take away from our stay. Overall, our stay was great here. The rooms were quality and you wont break the bank to stay here. It is right off a main road in Goshen so you aren't completely secluded and can also enjoy the town of Goshen if you want. We hit up the Warwick winery during the day and loved it. We got married in April 2019. Faith and her staff made the day amazing. The food was delicious, the service was outstanding and professional. Our guests and family were so pleased. The atmosphere was excellent. The new room that was built was gorgeous. We stayed in the Margo. It was clean and top notch. I can't say enough about the Stagecoach Inn. Drinks served in wrong size glass consistency despite being asked for the correct size. 4/5 mussels in the pasta Del Mar were not open hence not edible which for a $36 entre should have been perfect. Wish they had offered a differential on the bill. My husband introduced himself and told Franco our waiter that is is a food writer by trade. Franco has a great personality but has to handle more than he should during our time there. Also it was mentioned in the reservation that it was a birthday celebration which was overlooked. The dining area was very lovely and the heaters being turned on (as well as the fireplace lit) made for a very nice ambiance. It took a few moments before we found a host, and she proceeded to ask me if we had a reservation. I had called about an hour prior to ask if we needed a reservation and was told no, but I still got the feeling that having a reservation would have been ideal. I selected the "waffles" and my companion ordered the eggs benedict. When the food came out, I was a bit disappointed to see that it was only one waffle, and it wasn't very large. There were no sides included with the waffle. The eggs benedict looked hearty. My waffle came with blueberries, strawberries, whipped cream, a side of butter, and maple syrup. The waffle was warm, which was good. I went to put the maple syrup on top but found that it was cold. I asked the waitress if she could warm up the syrup and she repeated my request with a questioning tone. I confirmed that I did want the syrup warmed. She did not seem to grasp this concept, so we recommended that she use a microwave to do so. She then did this and came back. The meals were both very good, but the waffle was mostly definitely not enough to fill me. It cost $16 and surprisingly, the eggs benedict cost only $14. Unfortunately, I am vegetarian and really only had that to select without having to make special requests. Bottom line: Come here for ambiance and good tasting food. Do not expect to be full from the portion size if selecting the "waffles". I would highly recommend that they consider additional vegetarian meal selections. read more

No atmosphere in the backyard which they claim is a garden. Its a yard. Nothing special. It backs up to someone else's yard. No flora. It's in a residential neighborhood, and no view. Beware of the owner. She's vial. She makes frivolous claims, and she will try to scam you in order to make you pay more. Very manipulative. Regardless of having conflicting views (which we discussed in detail and you committed to providing in email) you repeatedly yelled, and insulted me during our conversation which I recorded. This establishment is above and beyond the prefect spot for dining. You really have to see it to believe it. It's Magnificently beautiful, comfortable, warm and inviting. The staff is so on point the moment you walk in to when you leave. Well organized, polite, interact with clarity and patient. They comfortably busy, but not to the point where you felt ignored. The food speaks for itself. The menu wasn't overwhelming. It was just right. Their Spinach artichoke dip was our appetizer it was fantastic. I had the knuckle (from the lobster)sandwich it was delicious. The one thing with that is dish it came way to many fries. My husband had the filet mignon with fingerling potatoes and Mac and cheese as a side dish. It was cooked exactly how he ordered it medium rare. He loved it. Hosted my daughters baptism here in the solarium (small group of 15). Beautiful space, beautiful building. The staff is wonderful (neceshka is especially lovely) and the food delicious. My wife and I went for dinner last night for the 1st time and we both agree that this is now one of our favorite restaurants. We were sat inside near the fireplace on a Friday. With Covid restrictions, the restaurant was half empty which was nice. Most guests chose to sit on the enclosed porch. We started with cocktails and the creamy spin dip. My new favorite app ever! nope folks from my party had different rules for vaxed, and unvaxed, and were asked for their cards. This presented an uncomfortable area in our experience, we get that NYC is polarized, but this is not nyc. We had made a reservation for 1:30, and expected a great time for my mother's birthday. We have been there before and had been previously disappointed but have decided to give it another shot. Right from when we walked in, the lady copped a slight attitude with us. She was a woman with a piercing (on her cheek, ouch). Anyways, she wasn't that friendly or warm and almost got the vibe that we weren't wanted there. If I was greeting someone here, Id greet my customers with respect and make them feel welcomed. Not like a nuisance. Our waiter, John I believe, was very kind and funny. At first there was no music so it was awkward and uncomfortable to speak. The temperature kept turning hot then cold. We ordered at about 1:30 since we got there early and were waiting until about 2:20 for our food to come out. There were moments we considered walking out because every other table had gone through their meals and we were still waiting for ours. John was nice about it, however if I were a host, I would offer my guests a complimentary drink or at least keep filling the water to let us know we weren't completely forgotten about. Eventually, the food came out and it was okay. Nothing to rave about but I ate everything (probably because I was famished).
