I wish I had seen this restaurant during the day. It looked beautiful.

Talk about a great place. If you are heading to Bethel Woods, make sure you stop! The preserve backs up to a small lake and stream. It was gorgous! The family stopped in for appetizers and drinks. Gas fireplace and player piano created a very romantic environment. The staff was friendly and welcoming. We had happy hour fare - pulled beef sliders, pate, and seafood dip - perfect for happy hour! I strongly recommend the espresso martini! It was delicious! I can't wait to visit again during the day. Sullivan county needed a great restaurant like this!

This is for the lounge area dining. Delicious onion soup, steaks, sliders and spring rolls in a rustic setting. Would like to try the main dining room.

(I am diabetic) There's a "vending machine," which is sparsely filled, but it only takes cash and while they tote an ATM, it was out of service.. Pool and hot tub? Doesn't work. Never put a toe in there. Major pool construction; upon arrival told it would be open and were given hours; then today "it will be open by this afternoon" and then later this afternoon, any staff to be found said, "oh god no-it's not going to be open at all today." Then the power FOR THE ENTIRE PLACE went out. For hours. Note: EVERYTHING IS ELECTRONIC HERE. SO WHEN THE POWER GOES OUT, YOU CAN'T GET INTO YOUR BUILDING OR INTO YOUR ROOM. THERE ARE NO LIGHTS. YOU ARE TRAPPED AND YOUR THINGS ARE VULNERABLE BECAUSE MY PATIO DOOR WAS COMPLETELY NOT LOCKED. NOTHING IS MANAGED BY KEYS. Notifications? None. Peaceful environment? If you consider Construction to be one? So you can't go to the pool, you can't go to the lake, you can't sit on your 1300 deck because you're locked out? Boats and lake access and sauna? All locked up. No one staffed. Abandoned "Scream"movie set perhaps? Late arrival ? No food, no options, no place to purchase anything IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE. (8:40) NOTHING is open on Tuesdays or Wednesdays- we unfortunately learned. Did we make a reservation at the apparent restaurant that we have never seen or been able to get into? Yes we did. It was an 8 o'clock reservation. Was the restaurant actually open that evening? No. Communication? NON- EXISTENT. ATM? In-room coffee machines? (Tacky Kuerigs) not in service. *A Jura coffee machine is available with a WARNING that it is only available for breakfast. God Save You if you, paying $1400 a night, possibly wanna have a latte. Mind you, this has been an OVER $3200 stay for two nights. Shuttle? "Sure! There are spots! I'll reserve them for you!" Actual shuttle conversation morning of to confirm: "there is no room- it is booked; it is full." We responded with "we confirmed this in March and again this week." NO SOLUTIONS to make it better. For any of this. "Sorry." At 6:25 pm at the event we get a call. "Hey the shuttle is ready!" We had already been there for two hours. We could NEVER in good conscience recommend this place to anyone. What a deeply unwelcoming, confusing, inaccessible experience. The only thing that works here is the warm and sweet housekeeping folks and the toilets. The power outage was a massive problem only to be addressed with hostility and shocking indifference. Mind you, this was ONE 24- hour period. Stay away.

The room had a lot of little extras that were really cool like a heated towel rack and floor in the bathroom. It's right on a little stream/thing. Plus you can walk to their private lake if you want more water time. One of the workers told me that you can borrow a boat in the summertime, but we were too early for that. This would be a great place to go if you want to feel fancy or if you want to give someone the gift of feeling fancy. Customized continental breakfast was part of the room price. Pictures include dinner over at the restaurant. You will be tempted to buy the fresh cinnamon raisin bread and then you will be disappointed that it gets stale so fast but then you will know to create French toast with it when you get home and all your disappointment will flee!

Cons: -heat/thermostat isn't consistent... it blows directly on the bed closest to the window so that part of the room gets super hot while the bathroom area is still cold. You have to turn it way up to get the room up to warm and then turn it down. -tv is limited as far as commercial-free channels and you cannot stream or mirror. -the black out curtains did not reach the windowsill so light crept in right at eye level in the morning. Also they did not overlap and we had to close them with a hair-clip. -No snack shop in the lobby- just vending machines that only take singles. The front desk kindly made change for us. -The saline pool smelled weird... -we booked another night and I called the front desk early in the morning to keep the same room, and they said it was ok, i checked-in online and all looked good, so we went back to sleep and then the front desk kept calling because it wasn't going through on her end and said i had to come down... so i did and then showed her that it worked on my app and she said oh, ok then.
