Cons: -heat/thermostat isn't consistent... it blows directly on the bed closest to the window so that part of the room gets super hot while the bathroom area is still cold. You have to turn it way up to get the room up to warm and then turn it down. -tv is limited as far as commercial-free channels and you cannot stream or mirror. -the black out curtains did not reach the windowsill so light crept in right at eye level in the morning. Also they did not overlap and we had to close them with a hair-clip. -No snack shop in the lobby- just vending machines that only take singles. The front desk kindly made change for us. -The saline pool smelled weird... -we booked another night and I called the front desk early in the morning to keep the same room, and they said it was ok, i checked-in online and all looked good, so we went back to sleep and then the front desk kept calling because it wasn't going through on her end and said i had to come down... so i did and then showed her that it worked on my app and she said oh, ok then. Aargh

More like 3.5 stars…read more Like many hotels, the AC/heat blows directly on the bed. This isn't conducive to sleep. I cannot remember the last time I used a TV in a hotel, but there was a MLB baseball game on TBS that night so I turned it on. The picture quality was like an old analog TV. It was like looking through a lens covered with Vaseline. When I looked in the back of the set, the signal from DISH was coming in the antenna coax instead of HDMI, which explains the quality (see photo). The lights weren't bright enough to read in bed. Does anyone who works for Hilton stay at these places?

When I stumbled across Moonriver Inn, I knew I had found the perfect place for us to stay. The innkeeper, Celeste, was a joy to work with. When I told her what I was planning, she did not disappoint--when my girlfriend and I arrived, awaiting us in our room were a beautiful bouquet of local wildflowers and a bottle of champagne on ice. She even made dinner reservations for us at a favorite restaurant. The space itself is beautifully decorated, full of natural light, and well-appointed. There were Audubon prints on the walls, a record-player in the corner, and prosecco in the mini-fridge. The bed offered us one of the most comfy nights' rests I've had in ages. And it's just a quick walk to Main Street or to the river. Do yourself a favor and book your next stay here. (Oh, and in case it wasn't obvious, she said "yes"!)

Well things have sure changed here and for the better. No more dirt and grime from the frackers who are now told to remove their filthy boots before entering, thank goodness! Although we tried to be, we weren't the quietest bunch with 10 kids excited and running around but the manager Connie was so gracious and nice to us. The complimentary hot breakfast is great. The kids loved the pancake maker. They had Egg omelets and various types of sausages which were great. In addition, they had muffins, bagels, a variety of cereals, juices yogurts and other snacks. So much better than the continental breakfasts that the other places put out. They redid the pool area recently and it's so much brighter than it was last time we stayed. The chlorine levels were a little high but at least we knew the pool was sanitized. We are so looking forward to coming back. Thanks for the impeccable service!!!
