Ordered hot grass jelly #c from Arcadia store, but it doesn't have rice ball nor melon jelly as advertised. The whole bowl is 95% grass jelly with a few mini boba and the tiniest taro ball you could find on earth. This combo shouldn't have peanuts but they gave me that and no thanks. I'm allergic to peanuts. Will never order again from Arcadia store. Such a scam!!!! read more

This place in Taiwan is best known for taro ice. Turns out if you get that, it's much better than everything else they have, and the toppings all come in bigger portions and are cooked to the right consistency, probably because they're not sitting around getting mushy. read more

Meet Fresh - Purple rice soup with plain rice balls, left. Grass jelly shaved ice with sesame-filled rice balls and yam/taro rice balls, right - Desserts Near Me - Arcadia, California

This is exactly how it should be, Taiwanese style! The taro special, including taro balls, taro paste, and a few other things, is my favorite. The grass jelly tastes so refreshing, it's probably made fresh daily. Service is average and the restaurant can be crowded at times, but quality of desserts is always excellent. read more

Came here on a Sunday night and although the food was good, I'm less than pleased with the service. The first few times I tried this place was during the winter when the lines were short but now that the weather's getting hot, it's becoming more of a hassle. The line was long and there was only one register open so it took about 10 minutes to get to the front of the line. Then I had to wait behind a dunce who was texting on his phone completely oblivious to the fact that he needed to slide his card to complete his purchase. I didn't say anything because I wanted to see how long he would stand there texting while the girl behind the counter waited for him to slide his card. It was about 2 minutes, but I digress. I got the shaved ice here once. It was bland and tasted like, well, ice. Shaved ice is good nowhere and nobody can change my mind. Gordon Ramsay himself can make me a shaved ice and it'd taste like ice. I'll leave eating frozen water to annoying people at movie theaters and dogs who won't drink cold water when it's hot outside but will for some reason chew ice. Weird doggos. So now what I do is get ice cream with their mochi. I love ice cream as the milkiness of the ice cream cuts the sweetness of the dessert. Their ice cream is nothing special and I highly doubt they even make their own there as it's just a topping. But it's still superior to shaved ice and probably better than their drinks which at almost all boba places are too sweet anyway. So I ordered a few scoops of ice cream and a couple toppings and for some reason this took about 15 minutes. So 25 minutes if you're counting waiting in line. They give you this contraption which vibrates when your order is ready and when mine gave the signal, I went up to the counter and when I tried to hand it to an employee, they looked at me like I was handing them an ancient manuscript from the ancient state of Babylon. She had to ask someone else which one was my order and they gave me an order I saw completed on the counter for 5 minutes while I was waiting. I didn't want to be one of those "is that my order?" customers before my number was called as they were clearly busy but indeed that was my order. The ice cream was good and their toppings were quite good as well. The taro balls are nice and chewy and their mochi is great as well. 25 minutes though? None of the employees looked like they were in any rush to help the many people that were waiting. I work in a place that doesn't get even a third of the customers they do per day and I work with much more gusto and hustle. Maybe they're training new staff but they should have chosen any other time than a weekend night to do so. read more

One of my favorite dessert places, especially in the winter. Yummy hot grass jelly and hot almond soup are my faves. I like this location much better than Temple City because of the charging stations available. Employees are friendly. Dylan is always nice and helpful. Thank you! read more

This was my first time at a Meet Fresh. The staff was really friendly and informative as I had a lot of questions. I ordered the grass jelly with almond jelly and taro balls. I like this because it's refreshing but not heavy like ice cream or cake. The red beans add a nice texture to it even though we aren't too crazy about red bean. We also had a side of black sesame and peanut butter mochi balls. We weren't too fond of the sesame be be it had a really strong flavor. The peanut butter was nice. read more

Apparently this place is known for their grass jelly, which I didn't get a chance to try. This review is based only on their drinks - or in this case, drink. The "Mango & Pineapple Green Tea" was way too sweet (and tart?), but it's not the flavor that bothered me all that much. It was the little chunks of "fruit" they have at the bottom that was more of a nuisance than something to be enjoyed. I've rarely had a drink that made my face sour into an offended emoji, so this place stood out to me. In their defense, it was Black Friday when I went in, so maybe they weren't on their A-game. I also pardoned their limited menu that day - since it made sense in terms of efficiency - and their customer service. I can't judge an establishment's service when their staff is being pounded by hordes of thirsty and hungry shoppers. Maybe I'll give them another shot sometime down the road. read more

Do not recommend this Taro ball #1 cost me almost $10 only see 6 taro ball inside and the rest are all ice. I believe cost of this not more than $1 they sell it almost $8 plus tax. Can't taste any flavor except ice. Will definitely never ever order this again! read more

Meet Fresh - Tarp ball #1 - Desserts Near Me - Arcadia, California

We ordered some of the tofu dessert. They told us to wait 10 minutes. We said that was fine and waited. 20 minutes passed, they called us up to tell us they did not have tofu and ask if we'd like to cancel or change our order. We didn't want anything else and got a refund. Waste of time. To Angela: It was not the wait time, we waited because we thought we were going to get what we ordered. We did not because you guys ran out of the ingredient and did not tell us about it. Made us wait 20 minutes for nothing. read more

YAS to this Meet Fresh, the only Meet Fresh I've been to. Service is great and they gave me this little treat when the cashier found out it was my birthday. She wrote Happy Birthday on the cup. #HappyTears They're so sweet and the treats are so delicious! Their mochi is soooo good! Get the mochi!! This joy in my life is so close too, thanks!! read more

Props to the server who took our order. Forgot to look at his name tag but he was this mixed looking young gentleman with some gorgeous eyes and great customer service. Friend and I shared the almond shaved ice. We ate outside on the bench because it was too cold inside. The only thing I'd like to see is the people prepping food to wear a mask of some sort. The girl was talking at my food while putting ingredients into the bowl. It came out fast and correct unlike the TC location. Great location. Let's keep it good please. read more

The milk tea at Meet Fresh is always great and tastes fresh. It's not too sweet or too bland. The service is always quick and the workers are sweet. They always keep the place clean even when it gets packed with people. The environment is nice and a good place to relax and even study. One thing I did not like about this trip was that the AC was broken. It feels like the AC has been broken for a long time. I visited this location a few weeks ago and the AC was also broken around that time. I feel like it's a good place to chill but with the AC broken around summertime, it is not. read more

Very bad experience at this store!! ordered mango shaved ice. very disappointed. Mango fruit not ripe, very hard and sour. Ice too hard, not the type i expected. For $14 plus after tax per order, i expect a much better quality DO NOT ORDER MANGO SHAVE ICE. read more

They made my drink incorrectly and refused to remake it, and were very rude atop of that. The staff kept giving me dirty looks and were quite uncooperative. Wouldn't recommend honestly. The drink wasn't good either :/ read more

When a store lists its opening time of 11am, shouldn't it be open and have items ready for customers to order from? We came in right at 11am and the employees were all still looking like they were half asleep and they mentioned they do not open until 11am. BUT IT WAS 11AM ALREADY! They also told us boba will not be ready for another 30 minutes. Honestly, how do you run a successful business like this? The only reason I do like this place is that the drinks are not too sweet. Other than that, not having things prepared on a timely manner really put a damper on my feelings towards this place. read more

Service was really good. Sheryl was the lead manager (I think that's what her tag said) and she was very good at answering any questions as well as making my experience very enjoyable. I ordered a Fluffy Sweet Potato slush. It's sort of an odd flavor but I wanted to explore the menu. The slush was pretty thick but very good. I wasn't expecting this but they also included what tasted like Wintermelon jelly. Overall the drink was very good and great for a hot day. The "fluffy" just refers to their house made whip cream. Their cream is thicker than other whip creams and tastes sooo good. I definitely tried to lick the remains of the cream when I couldn't suck anymore up through the straw. I asked whether they had the cheese cream (since another Yelper raved about it) but turns out they don't. read more

First, everything looked delicious on menu. We ordered their famous taro ball #4, and other items. When the food's ready, The taro ball #4 did not look close to what's on menu. It's basically a bowl of burnt bean soup, two chunks of taro, and a few small-sized chewy tapioca rice balls. The flavor was off, and it's pricey. read more

We order the $7.80 shaved ice, but we got the "shaved water"..... Not worth it. They should improve their food quality and the service. I understand they are really busy, but you shouldn't provide an ice water as a shaved ice to your customers. I was happy I can have the Meet fresh at Arcadia, but I feel really disappointed now. read more

I have never been to this place I saw a lady with a iced tea so i decided to give it a shot. I ordered 2 mango iced green teas but they charged me a milk berry milk shaved ice. I don't know if she didn't hear me right or because of the glass but I didn't notice till i saw them filling the bowl. I was gonna say something when i got my order. I had seen the guy either just call out the orders and hand them off or just leave them on the counter for the other (asian) customers. But when he called out my number and he saw me he asked for my receipt -_- . Not a problem but why was i the only person he asked to see one because i am hispanic???! That threw me off so i got my expensive bucket of ice and left. Im lactose intolerant so i gave it to my friend it was to big so she didn't finish it. I probably wont be trying this place the tea did look good though oh well. read more

First time at this meetfresh location and I do not think I'll ever come back. I first called them to place an take out order but the staff who answered the phone told me tersely that I had to order online instead- I did not experience this at any of the other MeetFresh locations- it was Monday around 4:30 pm so it is not a busy time for them by any means (there was only one customer in the store when I arrived to pick up my order 10 minutes later). So I downloaded their app and ordered Icy Grass Jelly B, which is supposed to come with red bean, boba and taro as toppings. I left an order comment to substitute the taro with taro balls. After I got home and started eating- I found no red bean or boba in there! Only some lonely taro balls in the sea of grass jelly. Also, there was a strand of hair in there! From unfriendly/lazy staff to messed up order and a hair in the food- the Arcadia MeetFresh really gave me quite an experience today. I would advise everyone to avoid this location- plenty of other dessert options in the area. read more

I have a serious sweet tooth for Asian desserts: boba, red bean, taro, sweet potato, grass jelly, etc. The Works. Ordered shaved ice but couldn't find any ice. All melted....short staffs and long line always...

The drink was great!! Too bad we were too full to have the shaved ice, but my friend said that was really good at Meet Fresh

We ordered a large mango shaved ice. Mangos were nicely diced - sweet and soft. No complaints there. However, given that the dish was 75%-80% ice, it seemed ridiculously overpriced. read more

great staff! friendly service! my gf went in monday on veteran's day nov 11, 2019, and was surprised how busy it was at the mall and at meet fresh. a long line, and a bit understaffed, but she said the staff was friendly, got her order correct, and they made enough of an impression that she made me come on yelp to write a super positive review! she also said that even though we live closer to the temple city location (who always gets her order wrong, but thats a different review), she's going to make me drive further to the arcadia location because of her most recent visit! read more

It's called meet fresh but it ain't fresh. The ingredient is not fresh, me and my wife stomach felt weird afterwards. The line is super long and the prize is ridiculously expensive. We came tonight and the system went down. It was unfortunate because the drinks were great as usual. The line was crazy and this is not the first time I have been here and the system went down without any apparent backup plan. That said - the staff was incredible. One girl in particular took the lead, grabbed the reigns and got things organized. I hope she is in a leadership role because if she is not, she should be and will be soon. She showed natural leadership skills and I would hire her in a heartbeat. I could tell she was very frustrated that when calling (I am assuming the owner or higher management) they did not answer and she did not seem to have support on a busy Saturday night. read more

Very good milk tea with 1/2 sugar & less ice. I like it with glass jelly & red beans add on

The cashier has a bad attitude and make me feel very uncomfortable. I've waited for more than 30 mins and the cashier made no explanation.
