Ordered the taro shaved ice. It was not light and fluffy. The worst shaved ice. Took out the ice cream and only ate that.

I love ALL teas- Pu-Er, Oolong, matcha, boba, milk tea..whatever. However, the layout was super annoying in this particular branch, the servers lacked attention, and the tea was not that great. I specified my tea to be "hot", it was served as an iced tea after 15 minutes..that's not including how long we had to wait to be served anyway. So, was expecting a yummy tea and it was very average, and sweet even at 50% only sugar. Dismay. read more

My mom and I love meet fresh! Our go to is the signature icy grass jelly with boba added. It is grass jelly flavored shaved ice, grass jelly, taro balls, and boba. It comes with creamer and we love it! Parking can be difficult on a weekend since it's the mall but there are plenty of spaces if you're willing to walk a little. Service can be slow at times, definitely something they can improve on read more

A great place to stop by for dessert for yourself or with friends / family! This branch is located in the Promenade of Santa Anita Mall and is open even after the mall is closed! The place is very clean and has a great, uncrowded layout. In my opinion, the music choice at this specific location is the best of all the one's I've visited. They even provide free charging stations, cords included! Food Quality: The desserts here are all great! I always have a hard time deciding which to choose because everything makes me want to drool. I find myself sticking with one of the Icy Grass Jelly options more often. They also have warm / hot desserts as well if you're not in the mood to shiver. Their new Signature Icy Grass Jelly Double Taro w/ Ice Cream is pretty interesting. I was initially confused with the different flavors going on in the dessert but over time, it started to taste better and better. Their limited time Strawberry Grass Jelly Shaved Ice is worth trying! It's not overly sweet and brings in a cool, refreshing experience. The strawberries aren't completely ripe (a bit sour), but it definitely brings balance to the dessert in an overall sense - I don't know if this was intended or not, but I enjoyed it. On a side note: I really enjoyed mixing in taro with each bite! It created a back to back aroma of flavors - the original strawberry jelly flavor followed by the lingering light taste of the taro. Service: Quick and efficient! The flow of the employees seem very smooth and I feel like this location pumps out orders much faster than other locations I've visited. Price / Quantity: Average price compared to other chains that serve similar dessert bowls. You definitely can finish an entire bowl yourself but typically, I've found myself satisfied almost every time having shared with a friend. Parking: Parking is shared with the rest of the mall. But since this place is open even after standard mall hours, if you go towards the later evening, I guarantee you will find a parking spot in the parking garage or the area just outside the promenade. read more

I've seen winter melon at many places but I've never had the balls to order it. This time I thought hey, I'm in Arcadia, I just got a bunch of great deals, it's time to celebrate and try something new! First this place is BUSY, but so efficient! The line goes by quickly and your orders come out quickly as well. I only ordered one drink which was the winter melon with cheese foam on top. The cheese foam reminded me of sweet cream cheese in the form of whipped cream. The drink was sooooooo gooood I think I'm obsessed with wintermelon now!!! The boba was perfect and yummy! All of the staff were great! I had no idea what the winter melon tea would taste like so they gave me a sample. Inside you'll find an ample amount of seating and outside as well. It was a hot Sunday afternoon so everyone was inside. You'll find them in the outside shopping area in the Arcadia mall, I think it's called the promenade. It is delicious! read more

The actual dish does not look anything like the photo on the menu. The bowl of desserts are filled with too much syrupy water. The boba milk tea was neither hot or cold but lukewarm. Very disappointing. read more

This probably one of the best places for boba. Their boba are fresh and soft. Other drinks Ara also equally good. Always super busy though. Good for business but we hate lining up. read more

Disappointing. Not like normal shave ice that is really fine. More lice an snow cone. Also it melted within a couple minutes of getting it, so more like drinking soup than shave ice. Wouldn't recommend. read more

This place is amazing! The manager mark is one of the most professional, courteous and handsome workers I've ever had the pleasure of being serviced by. Mangoberry Milk Shaved Ice with Mini Taro Balls: chill hangout spot!! The Mangoberry Milk Shaved Ice is a refreshing fruit focused shaved ice with strawberries and mangoes. The additional mini taro balls were definitely worth and added qq texture!! The eating experience was easier in my previous experiences when served on a regular plate since all the ingredients were a bit cramped in the to-go container, but I think it's understandable to take safety precautions. read more

We've tested tons (4 actually) of asian dessert places in the past few months and thought I had settled on the fact that I really am just not into Taiwanese desserts. Maybe it's cus I love Thai Women so much better, hey my bad!. We shared the signature icy grass jelly which has the grass jelly ice on the bottom topped w/ grass jelly, taro and sweet potato balls and, after a few bites, I decided that it was better than -just aiiiight-. One order was enough for two so no need to order too many. Came out to about 8$ after tax. Not my first choice for dessert but I wouldn't mind dropping by again, especially on a hot day. Pretty refreshing s#*T! read more

Meet Fresh - BFF keeping it classy. She puts the ass in Class - Desserts Near Me - Arcadia, California

The milk teas here are amazing!!! We tried the jasmine green milk tea and the black sugar milk tea. The jasmine green milk tea was very fragrant. I normally don't like very sweet drinks, but the black sugar milk tea had a distinctive and very very pleasant sweet taste that is not cloying. I was pleasantly surprised! They also nailed the texture of the boba; they were soft and chewy but not sticky. The last time my friend came she said there was a long line. We came on a late Friday afternoon, and there was no line at all and the drinks were served super fast. read more

Great environment just to chill and relax. There's outlets and chargers if ever needed. The staff are very nice and will try their best to make your needs fulfilled. I'm not a big sweets person but their drinks are great even half sweet. The mango series are really good and even have great promotions occasionally! I really like the desserts from Meet Fresh! But the wait at this location is soooo long... For the few times I went, they were out of the stuff I wanted T_T read more

Paid almost 20.00 for melted ice cream yucky soup. Walking in there you see so many signs you don't know where to start reading and the pressure to hurry is on because there is a long line. The long line tells me this place is not hurting so why not invest in containers that actually keep the cold ice desserts cold. The poorly packaged ice thing I bought turned into a hot soup literally not even cold. Not to mention there is no one guiding foot traffic and the food preparers are yelling at people asking them to wait outside with no indication that one would receive a text when the order is ready. Unless they change their containers it's not worth buying anything cold here. read more

Although My dessert was good and I have the icy grass jelly signature bowl which I thought was a drink. This is the third time I've been to a Meet Fresh and they always seem to not have something available on the menu. Today they only have what's called a holiday menu listed on a piece of paper and saw it when the cashier took order. First of all signs not posted are not clear and this seems like a bait and switch issue. We actually should have left like other before and after us. I talk to the lady there and clarified that this is a holiday menu which should be more clear to patrons. I've given them 3 try's not going back due to misleading menus. Service average but To admit Food was good. read more

Ok so I have to disclose that I'm biased. I LOOOOVE Meet Fresh. I went there every single day when I was in Taiwan. In fact, I filled up a stamp card in my short visit. So when I found out there's not only Meet Fresh in the states, but one close to home, I was trembling with excitement. It also helps that it's located in my home-mall. So I walked in already expecting to love it. And I was not disappointed. The menu is HUUUGE! I don't remember the menu from Taiwan being that big... There's shave ice, hot or cold Taiwanese dessert (grass jelly, taro balls, and other goodies), milk shakes, different types of teas, including the ever popular winter melon tea. But I was determined to not get distracted and stayed true to the classic, and ordered the signature grass jelly shave ice. Anybody who knows me know I'm a sucker for grass jelly. The grass jelly isn't just ON the shave ice, it's IN the shave ice. What I mean by that is the ice itself is infused with grass jelly. And it also came with taro balls and a half-and-half creamer. The taro balls are nice and chewy, and tastes nothing like taro. I prefer it much more than boba. And of course my beloved grass jelly is perfectly tender and slightly sweetened. Side note, you can chose to not have the taro balls, and save $1.50 and also save a lot of carbs. The service is adequate and the staff is friendly. If you don't like people, you can also order from their iPad-looking thing. Price is decent. Much cheaper than Korean shave ice. A serving of shave ice is between $6-7, and teas are around $3-4. As far as I know, there is no loyalty program here yet. It would be nice if they implement one. read more

I was excited that a meet fresh opened in the mall. My boyfriend(non-Mandarin speaker) tried ordering for us and the cashier was a bit rude. While we were in the midst of saying our order another lady was scolding her for selling something that was unavailable. She just said "no one told me" and they had this discussion in front of us. I think that's unprofessional. If something needs to be fixed- please pull your cashier aside and let her know after. Not in front of customers. Being ignored while we are saying our order is also a tad annoying. No excuse me, no sorry, no thank you. Just swipe and go. Also we said boba noodles, and we got boba instead in our drink. I walked over to daiso while bf waited and he asked them if that was correct but because of their limited English there was no communication. I tend to think when things like this happen especially in a newly opened business it's management. I think in any business it's important for front line employees to greet and at least be a little friendly. Just a little. I don't think I'll come back. read more

Service is terrible. The marketed foods/ drinks are not available, then why display it on every LCD screen there is at the register and on your poster displays? Because my kids really wanted the boba drinks and the egg waffles, I ordered what is available and 20 minutes later, some teenagers came and ordered. And guess who's food came first even though it was the same flavored egg waffles?? The teenagers got the egg waffles first. I can't believe I tipped 20% these people at the time of purchase. I wish that I could take it back. Ever since this experience I didn't want to tip at the time of purchase until I received my order but these places never have this option. So I've stopped going, these things are not healthy anyways. read more

The service was good but the drinks were a bit watered down. I got the Mango and Passionfruit Green Tea and my friend got the Ube Milk Tea. Though it wasn't a great first experience, I would go back just to try the other flavors. read more

Everything else was fine. I did like that you can order digitally, and they're pretty cautious about the whole COVID thing. The one star off is because we ordered a milk tea with pudding (they did told us they were out of boba when we ordered but they didn't mention about the pudding btw), later being notified that they had ran out of pudding when the rest of our order was ready. So we simply wanted to exchange to a fruit tea drink because we only ordered the milk tea because we wanted to try the pudding. The staff was kinda rude and told us we can only change the topping but not a drink. A little unpleasant but he eventually agreed to changed the drink though. read more

**OVERPRICED** Very small portion and very little toppings. Shaved ice had already melted to nearly iced water. I didn't eat it and asked them for a replacement. The store associate got annoyed. Horrible customer service!! If you want to sell Asian food, make it right and authentic. Shaved ice is very easy to make and has very high profit margins. Don't try to cut corners and rip off your customers and think they won't notice. read more

Meet fresh maintains the same standards and quality across all of their locations. I loved how fast this one was. I was very disappointed in my tofu pudding with taro and sweet potato balls that I ordered for to-go. First, they didn't want to give me ice for an iced dessert. One of the staff said that they don't give out ice for to-go orders. Really? Why not? One of the employees that took my order said yes and the other employee said no. Finally, they agreed to give me ice. At this point, I was over it. I just wanted to get my dessert and go home. The worst part was when I got home, the dessert looked very unappetizing and lacked flavor. Also, there were stringent amount of taro balls. I counted 7 which was really ridiculous given that I paid $8 for it. I really like Meet Fresh, but I won't return back to this particular location given my experience. read more

I used to get almond milk tea whenever I stop by a boba shop but wintermelon green tea is my new go-to drink...it's refreshing. Stopped by here last night as I was craving some. Asked for 1/2 sweet with boba as I am not a fan of very sugary drinks. The tea was good but the boba had a funky texture to it that I didn't really care for. Must've been a bad batch. I came here on thursday night around 7:45pm. When we arrived, the store was very busy, had to wait in line for about 5 to 10 minutes but there was only 1 tall guys with the tatoo on left hand who was doing everything taking order , make order and take care of the waffle. After a while, a lady in the kitchen came out and we thought she was going to help him take my order but she went out to change music and left back inside the kitchen and let the tall guys do it by himself. He very friendly, apologized for the wait and recommend us many special items. My friend and I got the Pudding Q-Mochi Shaved Ice and the Icy Grass Jelly Signature. The Pudding Q-Mochi Shaved Ice was super flavorful and sweet. Also the Icy Grass Jelly Signature isn't too herbal not sweet, very refreshing ! I'll be back in the future. read more
