This Taiwanese dessert spot is located at the Promenade outside portion of the Santa Anita Mall They're open daily and hours are: - Sun-Thurs - 11am-8pm - Fri & Sat - 11am-10pm Parking was ok since there are plenty of parking spots but can be challenging, especially on the weekends. Ordering was easy and convenient since they have 2 kiosks to self-order. However, they seem fairly busy so it would be nice if there were more than just 2 kiosks since I noticed some customers take their time. The menu had an impressive variety of drinks and all kinds of desserts (e.g.shaved ice, tofu pudding, egg waffle, etc.) Pricing was a bit pricey and most items were $10+. However, the portions were very generous! Inside had plenty of seating and very spacious. I enjoyed the sink station, as well as the water refill station next to it. The Double Taro Signature ($12) consisted of grass jelly, taro balls, taro paste, and ice cream. The presentation could have been better but it's not a big deal! The taro paste was very delicious and fresh! However, I wish it was blended better since it literally felt and tasted like huge chunks of taro mixed together. The taro balls were very chewy but didn't have much of a taro flavor. The grass jelly was ok but a tad bitter so that was my least favorite item. The ice cream was just regular vanilla ice cream so nothing special. The Original QQ Mochi Egg Waffle ($4.99) was so yummy! It was so similar to the ones I had in Hong Kong! It was so crispy and fresh! I got it without chocolate chips so I received $2 discount. It was just the right amount of sweetness. I enjoyed how almost every piece had soft and chewy mochi inside. Overall, I enjoyed my experience and the dessert was so good so I'll definitely return and recommend! read more

Constantly disappointed at this location. Ordering through the kiosks can be frustrating as their menu is extensive, so when customers don't know what they want, it creates a huge backlog and unnecessary line. Food is pretty decent and was in the mood for their bubble waffles. Today was especially irritating. Their counter specifically says "Do not interrupt staff, as they are fulfilling orders. Use kiosk". But after I waited over 5min for the kiosk, the counter girl helps the people behind me with their order. Service 0/5 stars. Spend your money elsewhere. There are other options at better quality and prices. read more

Ahhh self ordering kiosk requires you to have a phone number or meet fresh account. Took me awhile to create one but it was fast. Ordered the Nikke mini red bean soup half sweet and it comes with a lot of toppings! Worth my price. Free sticker too! But i think since they put all those toppings my red bean was cold. Perfect sweetness for me who is quite scared of sweetness. Ordered another original red bean soup on the side and that was hot and tasty. read more

When my friends and I were at the Santa Anita Shops, we needed tea. Like our bodies were so parched the dehydration felt deadly! Thank goodness for Meet Fresh being at this outdoor mall. I'm always going back to basics with my simple teas without any frills. I like a good brew on ice, in particular green tea is my jam. They tons of dessert items which I am sure I will one day try, but their Jasmine Green Tea? Lovely floral kick to my usual icy goodness. My friends also got varying milk teas and herbal teas -n we were all happy with what we got. Plus with just getting drinks it didn't take too long! I'd definitely go back to Meet Fresh. read more

I absolutely love Meet Fresh and always loved their quality and service, but I am so incredibly disappointed by their quality today. I rarely write reviews under 4 stars. Meet Fresh was known to have the "healthier alternative" desserts. I would always look forward to enjoying their dessert in their ceramic bowls but now all I get is a luke-warm dessert in a small paper bowl. This branch of the Meet Fresh chain is in the former Westfield Mall, now The Shops at Santa Anita. There is a large shared lot which does get full at peak hours such as after work on weekdays, weekends, and holidays. However, you can almost always get a parking if you park further away. The shop is located outside on the upper level. The shop has limited seating and can get very full. They have traditional Taiwanese boba drinks, shaved ice, and grass jelly items. The shaved ice has more traditional Taiwanese items as well as a few more western style choices. You order at a kiosk and they call your number. The do not accept cash. The seating is fairly well maintained, but can be sticky. Seats are pretty close together. Overall, better parking than other locations and shorter lines as well. Worth a visit. read more

One issue I often have with shaved ice is that toward the end, it just becomes plain ice, but that isn't the case with Meet Fresh because of the ice cream and generous amount of condensed milk. I choose normal ice but it barely has any ice and the cup is filled up with the jelly and boba. Lovely. However, I couldn't stand the flies there. I don't mean one or two flies but a LOT!. So this place does have tons of unique options for shaved iced combined with boba, different jellies, puddings etc. which I have not seen before! We got the signature ice grass jelly and it wasn't very good in my opinion, it just tasted flavorless and it was just too much chewy jelly stuff for me and not enough shaved ice. We also got the caramel pudding milk tea. This was better but again not the best. The flavor of the milk tea was good I just wasn't liking the flavor of the pudding! Service wise they seemed nice, they were able to explain to us what some of the things were since it was our first time. You can order at a kiosk which is faster although this place was not packed. Inside they have tons of seating and tables, and there are tables outside as well. It's located at a huge mall! Overall I like the unique food options it has, I just didn't like what I ordered. Tried this place for the first time last night. Not bad. They were really busy. Took a long time to receive our order. The dining area feels like your typical dessert or fast food place. The Thai tea is good. Ordering is slightly different from the posted menu but once you figure it out it's not so bad. The shaved ice was a little more corse than I expected. I thought it was going to be like a soft snow but was more like a snow cone. But the flavors were there! Overall a good (not great) experience and I would recommend giving it a try for sure! This is the Meet Fresh location in the Santa Anita Mall whatever they're calling it now. It is located in the promenade section of the mall and it is a great addition to that area. There are a lot of great selections of dessert and drink items here. For the drinks typically I'll got a winter melon tea or even the hot almond tea is very good as well. They are most known for their grass jelly items here but there's also a wide array of other items too. Depending on the weather that's when I got the iced or the hot grass jelly. There is a decent amount of seating inside the store. The store is shaped weird but it works. The line is towards the front of the store and the staff is very quick at putting orders through. Then you're handed a buzzer and once that goes off you can go and pick up from the counter. Sometimes they're running promotions but it's almost always not a decent promotion and it feels disingenuous to even have it at all. Anyway, this isn't the store's fault. But if you're looking for desserts and you're in the Arcadia mall, be sure to stop in! read more

Ran to the mall to get something. I wanted something cold to drink. I had points with meet fresh. Ordered online. The app said it would text when done. IT DIDN'T! Estimated time was 10 mins. I was waiting outside 15 minutes before I went inside to ask. Sure enough, it was sitting in the counter. I didn't want to just grab it, so I waited for the girl behind the counter. Her head was down, looking at her phone or something. I waited for her to look up. It took her literally a minute before she looked. Got my drink and went back outside. Since the drink was sitting so long, the honeycomb already melted. Didn't look anything like the picture on the website. I love grass jelly and I was craving it. My first time at this location. We ordered through the machines and we got the signature grass jelly and added additional rice balls. They had a special, $2.99 for a small portion of egg waffles if we order $10 or more. Of course that's not a problem because one order of their dessert is usually over $10. We got the orders, but some disappointments. They forgot to add the rice balls for us until we asked them about it! Also, even we were dining in they used paper cups which is okay but obviously the cup is smaller than the bowls they used to use. So the portions are smaller than before. But the dessert still tastes good and consistent. Their egg waffles were surprisingly good because I tried it at another location and it wasn't good. This location made it very good! Ambiance was just okay here, kind of small and there was a bit of a weird smell when I went in. Felt like the ventilation wasn't too good. read more

The promenade has so many selection of stores selling beverages and handcrafted drinks, but it's been a while since I've had meet fresh. It was a Sunday afternoon and we entered the place, although there were plenty of people, it wasn't as busy. We used their ordering kiosk to place a drink order, there's so much to choose from but I really wanted just a cold milk tea. I think I tried looking for the boba milk tea but I only saw milk tea and you can pick toppings (extra $) to add so I gave up. I got the receipt from the kiosk and went to a table to wait. There are plenty of tables to sit, the store stretches pretty long and ends near the entrance into the mall. We just sat at the nearest table next to the entrance. Since you order using your phone number, it'll send you a text once your order is ready. The staff will also call out your order number once it's ready for pick up at the counter. But, I got the text once we left the place though. The drink was great, half sweet, less ice, good tea flavor (not strong though), and pretty satisfying. Next time I'll try ordering it with boba. They also have snacks and appetizers to order, but I just wanted a drink for now and might come back for food later. read more
