Hot Red Bean Soup Signature + grass jelly
    Selene S.

Haven't been here in years. They're less busy nowadays, even on a Friday. Parking in this plaza is still challenging but underground is better. There are three kiosks to use. You pick up the order yourself with the number at the counter. Self serve the utensils and napkins and put the dishes away when done. There is plenty of seating inside. Good ambiance with strong AC and generic music. We got two signature dishes: (1) hot red bean soup which comes with taro and mochi (2) iced grass jelly which comes with grass jelly, taro balls, and shaved ice at the bottom. Portion is pretty good.

Signature Hot Red Bean Soup with grass jelly

Wanted some dessert after dinner so decided to get some grass jelly here since I haven't came here in years. The parking in this plaza isn't the easiest but they do have underground parking. There is a large indoor seating area with comfortable seats. You can order at the counter or at the kiosks. We got the Signature Ice Grass Jelly ($10) and added red bean topping ($1), and also got the Signature Hot Red Bean Soup ($10) with additional grass jelly as topping ($1). The toppings are kinda expensive so didn't add more. The menu has a good variety of dessert options, hot and cold, plus drinks. Their shaved ice looked pretty good so I do want to come back someday. We did dine in so we took a seat while we waited. When the order is ready, they send a text to the number provided and you go to the pick up area. And they have small bowls and spoons to grab yourself if needed, which I liked. I liked the signature ice grass jelly. The portion is pretty big for the price and is good enough for two people to share. The taro and pumpkin balls are as good as I remember, and they tasted good with the grass jelly and shaved ice. I did do less ice but it was still a big portion for two. It tasted extra good after adding the half and half. For the hot red bean soup, it was pretty good too with the taro scoops inside. But I still prefer the iced desserts. Overall, this is a safe dessert spot option for Taiwanese grass jelly, shaved ice, and drinks. They have lots of Taiwanese options to choose from. I think it isn't as popular as it used to be with all the new spots opening up but it is a good Taiwanese dessert and boba spot. It is not amazing but the quality and portion are both good.

The dessert here definitely taste better fresh and especially at this location. Arcadia location is okay... its hit or miss for consistency. This location, the service is ehhhhh ... young teens who dont want to work or avoid interactions with customers . No smile or eye contact. I come here 1x a week . If u need the bathroom, they won't give u the code, u MUST purchase something first and then you'll get a code to use bathroom .. my daughter had to use bathroom so badly but we had to order first . We tried to ask employee if we can use it first. Strictly whisper 'no'. So I asked another person... he gave us the wrong code .... unbelievable employees here. Atmosphere is nice . Parking is hard to find, so go underground for parking. Its in a nice plaza with a variety of foods and places to hang out if u want to come here to meet with friends and family . Ill give this place after 3 star since employees here show no interest to work there and horrible attitudes. U can just take anyone's order... they don't even care . If u asked them where is my order, they whisper softly .. honestly they cant even put effort to vocalize but i can hesr them talking amongst each other normally with normal voices . Anyways... Someone took our order and they didn't even know or care. Just let them know and they'll remake it. You'll get a text message when your order is ready . I only come here for authentication dessert, disregard the employees. Hehe

I've been coming here since they've been opened. I remembered the days when the lines were out the door and there were no kiosk ordering. It's nice to see it's still busy on a Friday night with big groups gathering. Because of the big groups, it's quite loud. Good amount of seating but the attention to the tables is lacking. I understand it gets busy, but the tables were not wiped down. We had to do it ourselves. The servers are not very friendly considering the fact that we're not even ordering with them. They just have to call our names. They are soft spoken and we couldn't hear or tell who they are calling. I still enjoy the desserts especially the Icy Grass Jelly Signature. The drinks are also yummy and my daughter loves their egg waffle.

I really like their taro balls and hot grass jelly, so I order them quite often. Since parking in this plaza is not very convenient, I usually order through Uber Eats. The desserts always arrive still warm, which I really appreciate.

Ordered the ice signature grass jelly with q mochi as an additional topping. It was good, and a nice refreshing treat especially on a warm day but giving it a 4 instead of a 5 star because they only gave me two pieces of q mochi, and I paid additional for that extra topping. Service was good, I received my order at the counter within 5 minutes of ordering. There is plenty of seating inside and you drop your tray and bowls off at the drop off window. Parking can be difficult since it's in a busy plaza with other shared businesses. Meet fresh is a safe option for Asian dessert imo.

This is my first time here and I thought that it was a little pricey for a bowl of ice grass jelly, two sesame balls, sago and almond pudding. Each item was tasty enough but the grass jelly and almond pudding could've had more flavor and the textures were a little too soft. I enjoyed it as it brought me back to my childhood when my great grandma would make these desserts for Chinese new year. Service is fast but not super helpful. The place was busy and people seemed to be doing family style but it felt a a little chaotic and messy.

I got the winter melon tea half sweet with caramel pudding and the drink is sooo sweet! Thank goodness I got half sugar. But it's very good! Nice and velvety. Also I ordered the crystal mochi and mung bean mochi set and the crystal mochi is sooo good with red bean inside, very soft and delicate! I didn't really enjoy the mung bean cakes! That's okay though I'll still come back to get other things. My roommate got the tofu pudding set and really enjoyed that.

I will tell my story as how it happened. I was in Temple City. I needed to use the restroom like quick. I got lucky to have found a parking spot in the Camellia Square where Meet Fresh is located. I knew they were the biz that would have a restroom. I quickly walked in and headed to the restroom area. A code is required. I had to get the code from the staff at the front counter. I thought they were "All Gender" restrooms so I quickly punched in the code at the very first restroom closest to me. Well, they are not "All Gender" restrooms. I mistakenly went into the wrong restroom. Oh well, first time for everything. Funny thing is that two people came into the restroom I was in shortly after I entered. Luckily, they used the urinal. It's my fault I entered the wrong restroom, but seriously, they should have a different code for the women's and men's restrooms IMHO. This is one story that I will never forget! LOL In support of Meet Fresh, I ordered the Coco Sago Soup Signature to-go via their self-ordering kiosk. Staff was friendly. The wait time wasn't too bad. Unfortunately, for the last few Meet Fresh locations including this one that I have visited recently, their dining area is just a mess. Tables and chairs are not clean and organized. Floors are not swept. Atmosphere just looks dirty. Sorry, but I am a stickler when it comes to cleaniless and organization. They need to have dedicated staff to attend to the dining area throughout the day. THIS IS A MUST! Anyway, the Coco Sago Soup Signature had tons of great ingredients such as taro, miniature taro balls, soft and chewy boba, coconut flavored mochi, soft and bouncy sago, and freshly made coco sago soup which I love. It was good overall. However, I was surprised it did not taste sweet at all. I may have to ask them to sweeten it if I should get it again.

Great location right next to Bistro Na's in Teapot Plaza. Ordering is easy with the self-serve kiosks by the front door. Our go-tos are the grass jelly signature and their seasonal shaved ice. You really can't go wrong with the sweet potato and taro balls, super bouncy and so satisfying. Not to mention, it's a legit Taiwanese dessert spot, the flavors and textures feel authentic, making it a place we're always happy to come back to!

Meet Fresh is my go-to spot for Egg Waffles. I love ordering via their self-pay kiosk but not too crazy about the wait for the order - it can take up to 20 to 30 minutes. Price is average and portions & taste are equivalent to that. They share a parking lot along with 8 other dining establishments, a bakery, some retail shops, and a gym so finding a parking may be a bit rough if you come during dinner time or weekends. Overall, a nice place to grab dessert after dinner.

Do not order egg waffles here, especially to go. Half the size of anywhere else
    Tiff L.

Once Upon a Time this place had more customer service and now everything is pretty much automated. You order from machines when you go in and then pick up your order at a counter with no pager or any notification of any sort. You just kind of have to figure it out. Not going to lie, there's stuff used to be considered pretty overpriced but now it's pretty much on par with how expensive everything's gotten. They didn't really raise their prices so I would consider it almost Fair now. I usually customize a grass jelly dessert and sometimes will get drinks. The one thing you can expect from them is definitely consistency. If you like their stuff you will, if you don't you won't. I won't post a picture of all the things other people take pictures of but I will definitely say absolutely do not get their egg waffle. The portion is half the size of what you would get anywhere else and it costs just as much. Especially to go, it comes in this crinkled nasty looking thing

Hot Coco Sago Soup Signature with potaro balls; yum!
    Jennifer H.

I would probably give 4.5 or 5 stars for flavor. I ordered hot coco sago soup with potaro balls. Had I known it already came with so many ingredients, I wouldn't have added anything. The flavor was on point! I also tried some of my husband's pudding and q-mo shaved ice, which was also delicious. FYI, portions are huge (which explains the prices). I was able to eat it two more times after! The reason this place was knocked down to 4 stars was because they only provide the smallest takeout containers for leftovers. I tried to ask for larger ones, and they actually told me it would cost $0.75! Ridiculous. You mean to tell me that it's more cost-effective to use 2-3 small containers rather than 1 larger container?! Make it make sense. I understand this policy is likely in place from management and perhaps has to do with keeping inventory, but it's not a good look. If inventory is the issue, you can get generic takeout containers. This alone gives me pause to recommend eating here in the future. Also, I normally try to be generous with tipping, but their setup basically works as takeout. You order at a kiosk, pick up your food when your number is called, and basically bus your own table. I would give them 10% tip max.

Food: Popcorn Chicken (10/10): We got mild spice for the popcorn chicken and it was the perfect amount of spice. You can definitely choose no spice or go even spicier. The chicken is still moist regardless of the fry and the best part is, there's an amazing amount of crunch with each piece.

Parking: The parking lot for this establishment is pretty big, but keep in mind that they share the lot with several other establishments, so the lot can get full. Some parking spots are smaller than others so be careful where you park. Establishment: The establishment itself is very clean, neat, and tidy. I wish they would play music or something because it's awfully quiet in there. Also, they turned off most of their lights, so it's dimly lit. I know that they are trying to save money on their electricity bill, but it's lowkey kinda creepy. Besides the creepy vibes, the food was lit. I had ordered a Taiwanese sausage rice bento box ($11.99) and a mild popcorn chicken ($6.50). They are currently doing a promotion where if you order one of their bento boxes, they will give you either a free small green tea, black tea, or barley tea. Take your pick. I chose to get a black tea with my Taiwanese sausage rice. The Taiwanese sausage rice is reminiscent of my time in Taiwan. The sausage was just so juicy. The minced pork on top of the rice was also very flavorful. The zucchini, corn, and cabbage were slightly seasoned with sesame oil, sugar, and salt, which made them taste 10x more delicious. I loved how tender the cabbage and zucchini were. The half egg was soft and had a bit of a runny yolk, which is something I enjoyed because I put the yolk all over the minced pork, which helped enhanced the rich flavors of the minced pork. Overall, everything was very delicious. I also love how juicy, tender, and crunchy their popcorn chicken are. The black tea was strong, bold, and smoky. Loved it! Portion sizes are great for the price. Totally worth a visit. Staff: I came here for lunch a couple of days ago (TO GO), and while I was waiting for my food, I was chatting with the owner. He explained to me that business has been extremely slow, and he wished he had some more customers. Please go check out Spiceology if you haven't yet. The food is delicious! The staff here are very friendly, welcoming, and kind. If you do visit this lovely Taiwanese spot, just an FYI, they only take cash or Zelle. No credit card.

I've been here before, but ever since Salju went viral on TikTok, it's definitely gotten a lot busier compared to past years. That said, the quality is still great. I ordered a regular milk shaved ice with mango and mochi, plus condensed milk drizzled on top. The shaved ice itself and the toppings were delicious, but I'd probably skip the condensed milk next time since it made everything a bit too sweet for my taste. Portion sizes are generous. The small is easily enough to share between two people, and the medium is massive. There are tons of flavor options to choose from, and orders come out pretty quickly despite how busy it can get!

They like their savory food strictly savory. But this time, I didn't compromise. I went all in on the sweet combo: tteokbokki with honey butter chicken. Truly a match made in heaven. The tteokbokki delivers that perfect balance of heat and sweetness, with the sauce clinging beautifully to each chewy rice cake. Every bite is bold, glossy, and deeply satisfying. The pickled radish on the side adds just the right touch of brightness, cutting through the richness and refreshing your palate between bites. And the honey butter chicken? It arrives hot and audibly crunchy, each piece generously coated in that addictive sweet-savory seasoning. Crispy on the outside, juicy inside, and dangerously easy to keep reaching for. This combo hits every note--spicy, sweet, crunchy, chewy, rich, and refreshing. Easily a five-star experience.

We came around 6pm and it changed for dine in option, a server was available this time to give us menus, take our orders at the table and provided banchan (side dishes) for us as well as water. There was a few other tables with us and the place still looks the same. I also noticed a QR code on the table which we didn't use but may be to help streamline ordering in case a server was too busy. The banchan is refillable upon request which we did ask and it was received! I am super happy to see fishcake, picked radish cubes, kimchi, and stir fried julienne potato. Here is what we got: An order of two boneless fired chicken (bulgogi and onion sauce, $3.50 extra for onion and it was worth it in my opinion!). Onion sauce was a nice creamy mild sauce over the chicken and slightly cooling effect to counter the spicy army stew. The bulgogi sauce was slightly spicy and sweet, since it was slightly spicy to my son, and he didn't want to try the onion one, we asked the server to add in a side of fries my son might not eat the chicken. The army stew spicy level cannot be modified and yes it was a little too spicy for me but I ate it well with chicken and fries. It came with a bowl of rice and fried egg on top. We didn't ask for more rice as there was plenty of food. I did enjoy the cheese covered spam slices, mini sausages, and fish cake in the stew, I didn't eat much of the noodles given how spicy it was. Once we finished eating we asked for a check and a to go box, the server was handling the tables by herself and was very attentive to us so she did a wonderful job. Overall, super happy I came back. We plan to com back to try their pancakes and tofu soup!

Although its Thai Tea felt lackluster, the Mais Con Yelo dessert ensnared my heart. I happily bit into its creamy, sweet scoop of ice cream. I arrived at Tim's Thai Tea (San Gabriel) on Thursday (around 6:30PM). It's located inside the Blossom Market Hall. Parking is easy. The lot is spacious. Customers order at the counter or self-service kiosk. Staff is friendly but unmemorable. Staff usually vanishes behind the counter. After ordering, Staff provides an electronic pager. It beeps when your order is ready. My order took six minutes and 53 seconds. As mentioned, I ordered the Mais Con Yelo ($15 - 24oz) and Thai Tea ($9 - 24oz). The Mais Con Yelo includes Sweet Corn Cheese Ice Cream, Sweet Corn & Cream Corn Mix, Shaved Ice, Evaporated Milk, Condensed Milk, and Corn Cereal. When fresh, the Mais Con Yelo ($15 - 24oz) is VERY delicious. The ice cream is creamy with a robust, addictive corn flavor; its dry corn cereal toppings add a playful "CRUNCH." However, this treat is messy. It melts quickly!! As you progress, the treat tastes like chilled milky sweet corn. Unfortunately, the Thai Tea ($9 - 24oz) tastes heavy and bitter. There's an appreciated tea flavor attempt; however, it tasted burnt. Also, the boba pearls had a very off-putting texture and taste. These boba pearls felt like defrosted marshmallows. Despite the mediocre taste, I appreciated how the drink is thirst-quenching and huge. The Thai Tea is not bad, but it's forgettable. Concerning ambiance, Tim's Thai Tea (San Gabriel) benefits from being inside the popular Blossom Market Hall. It's filled with customers! The music is also very energetic and upbeat like a nightclub. The location has plenty of tables and seating. And the location is well-ventilated and clean. If I were to nitpick, Tim's Thai Tea (San Gabriel) would benefit from a hand sanitizer bottle because its desserts are so messy. Overall, I appreciated my visit to Tim's Thai Tea (San Gabriel). Personally, the Mais Con Yelo ($15 - 24oz) saved this experience. It's a beautiful and delicious dessert. If curious, I lightly recommend. 4.5 out of 5

Next time, maybe do a quality check on your drinks and train your workers better. It looks like a bunch of kids running around and do not look like they know what they're doing.
