The shaved ice was not freshly shaved. My shaved ice had a block of ice at the bottom. For the price point, I feel cheated. The "shaved" ice was mispresentation of what one actually gets. The trash was also disgusting and in plain sight. If you are looking for fantastic and real shaved ice, try Salju Dessert in Alhambra. The price at Salju is lower and they serve fresh shaved ice rather than pre-frozen ice blocks. read more

When you ordered 4 bowls of red bean soup and you only got "3" I'm so pissed! If I wanted to have 3 I'd order 3! I don't need you guys help me decide how much I'll have. And FYI, it looks like some leftovers! UGH! Following up on this: I did re-order another four take-home red bean soup and I clearly told the cashier that I'd like to have the plain red bean soup as the base, 2 with sweet potato and 2 with fresh taro only. And guess what! When I back home, I found 2 with Fresh taro, AND BOBA + taro&potato BALL, and another 2 with Sweet potato, AND taro&potato BALL. I REALLY WANT TO ASK THE OWNER/STAFF THERE: DO YOU KNOW HOW HARD IT IS TO PICK UP ALL THE BOBA OUT OF THE GODDAMN RED BEAN SOUP????? UGH I'm so sick of this..... read more

Read the reviews after our visit yesterday and seeing that we were not alone in the ice chunk experience. It felt like we were trying to chip away at an ice block with the flimsy plastic spoons. It wasn't just the packed ice on the bottom of the container, but the 'sprinkled' ice pieces on top were definitely not shaved ice. We were thinking their ice shaver was broken. It was more crushed ice rather than the shaved ice we were expecting. Flavor & topping on both the Mangoberry milk shaved ice was decent- but more syrupy flavors and not as much fresh fruit as pictured. read more

I've been coming by this location for a while now. My go to order is the winter melon tea with lychee jelly added in. They use high quality ingredients and you can taste the difference when compared to other boba places. If you're in the area, be sure to try Meet Fresh. You'll be glad you did! read more

WORST PLACE!!! Ordered mango berry shaved ice, almost no fruit, they give you a lot of strong artificial flavor syrup, and the size is ridiculously small. read more

Wow, this place really hit the spot! If you're craving Asian (Tawainese) dessert like grass jelly, tofu pudding, shaved ice, red bean, you have to try this place. I liked it much more than Blackball on Valley. I ordered the Almond pudding Q shaved ice ($10), which you should only order if you are sharing with someone else. It had almond pudding, a scoop of ice cream, mochi, mini sweet potato balls and mini taro balls, and lychee jello. I wish the shaved ice was a little more sweet by the time I got to the bottom of the gigantic mountain of ice. All the sweetness was on the top and outside. My husband ordered the grass jelly with sweet potato and taro mochi balls. Underneath the grass jelly was brown sugar shaved ice so it helped make it sweet. I definitely would come back to try more items! read more

Great spot to get your dose of Taiwanese dessert and/or milk teas. We ordered for dine in. A Q mochi and pudding shaved ice $10.80. For 2 person, it was too much. We were so full just from that bowl. This bowl, which I highly recommend for first timers, comes with their Q mochi - elongated original mochi and I think sesame flavored mochi, Almond pudding, egg pudding, noodle looking jelly, mini taro and sweet potato balls. They drizzle brown sugar syrup and condensed milk on the shaved ice and top it with 1 scoop of vanilla ice cream and scattered roasted coconut. It was very satisfying. It is a big bowl and expect to share with your friends. I also ordered their milk green tea with lychee jelly. A little disappointed that their green tea is a little underwhelming. I always like it when green tea flavor comes through above the milky flavor. However, you can still taste a bit of the green tea. They have a wide range of menu. But, I only bring 1 extra mouth on this visit. They have hot and cold options as well. I will come back and check out other things in their menu. This location has ample seatings for diners. They even provide cable for charging . Very clean and spacious. read more

Two weeks in a row the bobba was not ready after they were open. The first week the girl told me 10 mins and today (a week later) the morning girl with an attitude told me an hour. If you are open and you are a boba place your bobba should be ready upon opening. Very frustrating and bad business, the workers act like they don't want to help customers as well. Such a waste since this could of been a nice place. read more

I had a funny experience yesterday and wanted to share. So yesterday I ordered the jasmine milk tea. Asked for less sweet. The cashier told me the least I could do was 1/3 sugar. Okay that's fine. Then I got my drink and ... omg it was so sweet!! I was overwhelmed by how sweet it was. The guy was in training and made a mistake. He added extra sugar when he shouldn't have for this drink. I'm not mad about it. I'm writing this review for others to know what I learned. Their Jasmine milk tea is premixed so they just add tea. Whatever sweetness it is, they cannot adjust it. This I believe is non dairy creamer, but please confirm with them cuz I didn't ask. So it's creamier like the milk tea you boba addicts are probably used to. So the milk tea is sweet already then they can add extra tea to lessen the sweetness, but that's about it. However if you get the Fresh milk tea, they can make it 0 sugar. This is straight tea with milk like you would do for an iced coffee at Starbucks. If you want less to 0 sugar, order this!!! I like milk in my tea but not so much the sugar, so next time I'll get this! Don't forget to get their app to earn reward points! I don't believe they have a stamp card so just get the App and then u will have one less thing to carry. The app also has promotions so you can find out about special menu items (: It is outside near CPK and Nordstrom side. Near Hai Di Lao!! Park entering from Huntington to be closest. read more

I usually don't write reviews but I just want to share this with others. Maybe it's not that big of a deal but to me I wish I knew before I purchased. From the picture, you can see 90% of it is ice. The grass jelly is very thin compare to what I have gotten before. I have not order it for a while but this is unacceptable given I paid $9 each including tax. I will not buy this again unless I am can eat at the restaurant so I can complain if it's not right. They are taking advantage of people not noticing it until they get home. I won't be tricked again. read more

First of all the male cashier we had was super rude. If he doesn't know how to treat customers then he shouldn't be working in customer service. Now this is what made me want to leave this comment. I ordered three signature Taro Ball. Two was for here and one was to go. The two orders for here, we got hot one is for me and the cold one is for my friend. (The one we got to go is the cold also.) We got our orders and everything was great except that they only have us one milk? Come on I got three orders that's worth over $24 bucks and you give me one milk? I went back and ask for more. When I got home and gave my take out to my sister, she told me that there's no grass jelly in it. I remember clearly my friend's cold version had a lot of grass jelly in it. How dare you did not put grass jelly in my to go order!? I paid so much for some cheap scam!? This place is being cheap and the workers are rude. Either their workers can't get the orders right or they purposely give you less or maybe none at all! I am so angry. I will never come back again. Not worth it for all the negative experience. There are so many other places that make the same type of dessert and treats their customers right. I will take my business elsewhere. read more

The desserts are decent. Great service attitude as well. When we were there on Sunday, there was a long line because only one cash register was open (and the self-service one was out of order). It'd be great if there is a separate register (perhaps a self-serving one) for order take-outs. It'd be more efficient for those who only want to order one or two items to go (and cut the waiting time for all). read more

Absolutely love Meet Fresh. So happy to eat Taiwanese dessert and every time I come here, it just brings back nostalgic tastes in my mouth of my younger days in Taiwan. Love anything taro at this place as the taro is always fresh with just the right texture and bite in the middle. The place can get pretty busy, but generally the line moves pretty fast. read more

Not coming back at all ! No sweetness on their boba and not as soft as i want it to be. Another overrated joint!!! Sorry.

Went to Meet Fresh for some boba and right off the bat, the cashier was rude for the night shift. She didn't start off with any greeting. My friend asked "how is your day?" and she had responded with "can you just order your food?" If you're looking for great customer service, this is not the place to go to. I understand that she may have had a long day but any anger or frustration should not be projected to the customers. She then proceeded to close the door angrily and let us know that they were only taking to go orders. The other staff member was well mannered but the other lady staff member came off rude, distasteful, and did not want to do her job properly. ------------------------- The quality of the boba was great, but the customer service killed everything. Hate to write bad reviews. This has been my worst "Meet fresh experience" so far among all the meet Fresh locations. Took my parents here today to experience what younger generation like these days. We waited 30 mins. When I asked those girls. They were chatting and eating and being very mean to me, said " oh sorry. Forgot your Order. Do you still want it?" then rashly made my order very badly. How can you just skip someone's order? I'm very unhappy that they made elder people wait that long for their own mistakes without positive attitude. Feel shame for those two young girls. I have posed receipt, Hope the store manager can have a better training for your young associates. Be more respectful to your customers and elder people. Everyone has parents who will grow older. Horrible experience. First and last time here. Updated after customer service reached out: If you wanna copy and paste, at least get the name right. Feel so sorry for the owner. read more

1. They don't take cash 2. Their server has terrible attitude. She is literally yelling at customers. 3. They run out off taros at 3pm on Friday which is unbelievable. 4. Their fresh milk tea tastes like water. First time there. Last time there. I'm not sure if this has any contribution but their staff is really young. There was about 5 of them. Just standing around. Dancing. That's fine, only if your milk tea tastes great for almost $5. Dance moves were on point though. So one star for that. And another star for the sink near the to go counter. That was really helpful. read more

Came here with friends. We got the egg pudding with boba and the icy taro ball with q mochi. The egg pudding was pretty sweet but so good! The icy tarp ball was also a good choice. This place is really really messy and disorganized. One of the girls stopped taking orders while the line just built up because she was talking to another girl about an order they were confused on or messed up on. Meet Fresh is a little taste of home but 3 times the cost of what it would be back in Taiwan. HAHA I only go for the dessert and it's my favorite every time I go back to 626 to visit my family. If I could I would rate it a zero because of ignorant employees who respond to customers with "I just work here." Customer service is definitely not a number one priority. The cashier was incredibly useless, rude, and whatever words that are relevant. Anyways, I asked if I can order a fresh milk with brown sugar without the boba. She said no and honestly, I did not care if I have to pay the same price. I just don't want the pearls and it wasn't cool that she was no accommodating as if it's going to impact business or something. If anything, I'm doing y'all a favor by not consuming more ingredients. I asked if there is any other menu item that is similar to this and she was like "i don't know". Bro, you work here.... I cannot with your attitude, which in turn gave me an attitude with ordering. I mean I still ordered a plain milk tea but that wasn't what I really wanted to begin with. read more

Manager not on duty on a Fri 3pm. It was probably their break period. Only one staff at the cashier keep taking orders. No one was making drink for a good 15 minutes while the orders keep coming in. I love meet fresh and this is BY FAR the best location! It's the only location where the spoons and napkins don't have a sign next to it saying "take one only" Price: Look to spend about $8 per dish. Unfortunately, this location served it a little sweeter than I have had which I didn't like, but they did LOAD it up. YUM. more for me. Ehh shaved ice, didn't think much of It especially since i couldn't customize without spending more on additional toppings, but I found out it's cheaper to get the grass jelly shaved ice bowls and add toppings that way. Still comes out cheaper than their pre made shaved iced, AND you get shaved ice grass jelly!!! Try a sample if you're wondering how it tastes. It's really good and you actually feel healthier after eating it They also have a tarp shaved ice bowl, but it's not flavored taro, so give the grass jelly one a try!
