I've come here three times now...once with my fiance to try something new and twice after to work since they had good plug-in areas to work from. The first time I came here, I was completely overwhelmed by the options they had to choose from. I was really unsure what I wanted to order, but with the guidance of the people that worked there, I was able to sample a few items that I'd never tried before. I ended up getting a mini mochi desert plate. It wasn't my favorite, but I definitely was a fan of their milk teas! On visit two, I kept it simple. Living in SGV, even if you didn't grow up with boba in your household, I can almost guarantee you've crossed paths with a boba drink at least once in your life. So, being the basic girl I am, I just ordered a milk tea with boba. Wifi was decent and charging stations were enough. On visit three, I came here to cowork with my colleague. I ended up accidentally leaving my charger at home for my laptop and was pretty upset when I got there, cause I knew I had only 10% of life left on my laptop. I was excited to see usb-c cords already plugged in for the public to use, but when I tried plugging in my laptop, none of the cords worked. I guess they're a third party charger, so it didn't charge the laptop. A+ for effort though, Meet Fresh! On this last visit I ordered a tofu, boba, sweet dessert thing (sorry guys, the name escapes me), and it was so delicious. Something about it reminded me of a dessert I used to eat as a child called Taho. It's very similar, and it made me a happy camper even though my laptop situation had started me off in a bad mood. I'd definitely come here again to have that dessert again! read more

Their business hours are inaccurate and ended up wasting my time and gas. Yelp, Google, and their own internal Meet Fresh app all state they close at 9pm. I tried to place an online order twice around 7:55pm and it wouldn't go through, so I figured they might be too busy to accept my order. I drive out and arrive at 8:15pm, only for them to be closed. The posted hours on their door are also inaccurate, as it states they close at 10pm. I understand there's a labor shortage alongside the pandemic, but you guys really should at least manage the store hours accurately. read more

MEET FRESH is located in the outdoor portion of Westfield Arcadia. It was a hot summer day when we visited so we tried to get drinks that will quench our thirst. FLUFFY GREEN TEA with BOBA and less sugar - That "fluffy" is so good. FLUFFY OOLONG TEA with BOBA and less sugar - I'm gonna be honest: I can't tell how good the oolong is because of the "fluff". BLACK TEA with less sugar - aaaahhhhh just right! There was a bit of a line to order. I'm not sure what's going on. And then they don't make your food until you order it, obviously, so you're going to have to wait just a tad bit more before you get your drink. While waiting, I got to see all the other goodies that they serve like the snow bowls topped with milk and fruit as well as the chicken wings. Looks yummy. They got my order right so that's a big plus. read more

First time trying shaved ice at this Meet Fresh location at the Arcadia mall. We were in the neighborhood to grab dessert from the 626 night market, but the crowds were huge and lines were long. Luckily Meet Fresh was still open even after the shops inside the mall were closed. It was a warm summer night, so we were looking for the perfect dessert to satisfy our sweet tooth. Walking by the outdoor seating area we saw a couple sharing a mountain of shaved ice. Next thing I know, I wanted that! And only that! The line wasn't too long since it moved pretty quickly. Make sure to grab the menu at the front counter since the wall menu has no prices. First time trying the Pudding & Q Mochi Milk shaved ice. It was also listed as one of their popular items on the menu. Once the order was ready I got the chance to carry the mountain of shaved ice. So delicate and perfectly crafted. It's was really good! I guess the only downer to this shaved ice dish was their mini taro balls and the jelly noodles(which I call worms- don't ask me why but you'll know what I mean when you see it). The glutinous rice flour toppings was a bit tasteless and not sweet. If you're tackling a mountain of shaved ice, this was the last thing you would eat. I really enjoyed the milk infused shaved ice part. Perfectly sweetened and crunchy texture. The almond and caramel pudding was nice. Q mochi which was new to me was great as well. Nice and soft with a light sweet flavor. Highly recommend giving the shaved ice a try. It's basically almost the price of buying 2 drinks here. read more

Brought my parents here to try their brown sugar boba shaved ice after a day of shopping. The cashier made the recommendation for the flavor of shaved ice and it was delicious! We ordered the large, and it was served in two parts: the ice, and the toppings. The toppings container had the brown sugar syrup, red bean, and boba. All together it tasted so good and was a nice refreshing dessert. We went when it was busy, so it was a bit loud and the tables were a little dirty since we sat down right after another family left, but that's usually how it is so nothing against them at all, we just used a napkin to wipe down the table before sitting. Overall really great experience and food :) read more

I came to this Meet Fresh since I was visiting the Westfield Shopping Center in Arcadia. This Meet Fresh is located on the outside area where the Red Robin is. I came here on a Saturday Evening, and of course parking is terrible. Placing the order was pretty straight forward, however after placing the order, the drinks took forever. Granted it was a weekend, however 45 minutes to get two drinks is really slow. Mind you, at the time there were people in the restaurant, but a lot of people were waiting at the counter to pick up their drinks. I ordered a passion fruit and winter melon drink. They offer something special called "Taro Boba". It was delicious and I wouldn't hesitate to get that again. It literally tastes like Taro in your mouth. The drinks were good, the taro boba was amazing, however this particular Meet Fresh took forever to get a drink. A solid 3/5 minus the service of taking forever. read more

Ordered the Strawberry milk shaved ice and a shaved ice with lychee and red beans. The flavor of both was good but the texture was not. I've never had Taiwanese shaved ice that was so chunky and hard it's like chewing on bits of crushed ice swimming in a bowl of diluted condensed milk. Have not tried other Meet Fresh locations (although I think Nomico in Tucson is part of their franchise?), but if this is representative of their quality would not recommend. read more

Taiwanese desserts founded by the Fu brother and sister team from Taiwan. It has been a popular dessert shop Chain in Asia for many years. People are crazy about their grass jelly and taro ball icy and other cold and hot drinks. It had come to the US few years ago. We have been a regular patron of their desserts. After shopping at the Santa Anita mall, we stopped by Meet Fresh to order our favorite desserts, grass jelly and taro ball with ice and egg waffle. The grass jelly icy with taro ball are the best dessert in town. In a hot day like today, it was refreshing to take a bite into the cold grass jelly and the chewy taro balls. If you like red beans, the dessert tastes even better with red bean. Today we discovered they also make my favorite egg waffle. So we got ourselves an egg waffle in original flavor. Although it's chewy, but it's not very crunchy. A bit disappointed. Even though other Meet Fresh had opened for indoor dining, this mall location was not opened for take out only for some reason. read more

This location is usually empty when I come but I don't mind. It's a good place to go to get your tofu pudding fix but don't expect it to be the best you've ever had. I Used To come here once a while to get these grass jelly dessert However I found out today they've changed their menu. Now it is on add on basis, meaning you can choose to add toppings for gradual extra costs, as opposed to their old menu items you can find variety of these toppings already included. I had preferred the latter. simply said they have Increased their prices and now to a point I don't think it is worth it for what it is. got two of their signature ice grass jelly dessert without any additional add ons today (4/2021), all amounted to like $18 bucks. for a few more bucks I could probably buy a whole cake. I first discovered meet fresh when I visited Taiwan. I recalled their tofu shave ice was like the best thing ever but their America franchises just somehow couldn't be up to par especially in the taste department. Their taro balls are basically just bland mochi bites with very very mildly hint of taro. I honestly probably wouldn't come back since there are other options out there to justify the prices. read more

Meet Fresh must be doing something right to open a second location 3 miles from the the first location in the SGV! Glad they opened this convenient location in the Promenade at the Westfield Santa Anita Mall. Pre-COVID, it was an ideal spot to catch up with friends over dessert after some shopping or dining in at another restaurant nearby. I really liked the section in the back, where it was a bit quieter and more private than the rowdy front with the long lines and the front kitchen. The round booths were comfortable to sit in as well. There was also a mounted TV promoting the behind the scenes of the Taiwanese desserts! Not sure if there's a higher turnover in personnel or what, but sometimes there's a problem with quality. Once pre-pandemic, I had ordered a hot red bean soup, which I ate in-store, and it wasn't even warm. The line was outrageous at that time so I didn't want to bother with requesting it to be reheated although they would've probably be much obliged. I wish the shop was ran by the family members instead of like a chain store for more of a homey feeling from Asia, but oh well. They'd be overworked with the business so it's definitely not a great idea. Anyways, I'm indeed glad to see the diverse personnel promoting the Taiwanese goodies! Different from the other location in Temple City, there isn't an option to order on their website via Yelp. Probably to prevent confusion and perhaps people had ordered and tried to pick up at the wrong location. However, there's an option to order via the mobile app, by the QR code outside the front door, as well as inside. Consumers at the mall are generally well aware and considerate of social distancing, which is a plus. Recently, I ordered the Signature Icy Grass Jelly with less ice. Super bomb! At the register, I gave my phone number and received a text confirmation shortly and another one when the order was ready. Waited outside briefly and was gone in less than 5 minutes. Yes, the bomb service! The grass jelly was super fresh, and the sweet potato and taro balls were fresh and chewy. Due to the pandemic, I exited the premises and enjoyed my dessert in one of the many large parking lots with a nice view of the SG mountains and the sunset! read more

Came here on a Tuesday afternoon and place was full but line was not bad. GF placed the to-go order for our 2 drinks and 2 bowls of dessert, 1 hot and 1 cold. Ordered a few additional toppings as well. Bill was about $40. When my order was up, went to counter to grab items and I had to ask for a bag... for a to-go order while they bagged up other customer's orders. Also messed up 2 of the orders and were missing the additional toppings that were paid for. To add to insult, I actually tipped at the time of payment. This experience has really made me rethink tipping at the counter now and more than likely will not do it anymore until after I get my order. read more

Meet Fresh is now at the Westfield Santa Anita Mall, next door to Buddy Chicken, found outside in the promenade. I stopped by on a Thursday afternoon a little after 12 PM for a drink. There was a small line, which was fine with me since I was still trying to decide what to order. When it was finally my turn to order, I ended up getting: Herbal Tea With Fresh Milk & Grass Jelly, $4.50 prior to tax ($4.93 after tax)- I had requested for my drink to be made with 50% sweetener. The drink itself had a generous amount of grass jelly (one of my favorite toppings) that complimented the milk. The sweetness level for me was perfect. Having forgotten to request for no ice, the amount of ice wasn't excessive but reasonable. A pretty good drink but a little expensive for the price. After I had made my order and paid (this place takes credit card, with no minimum), I was given a pager which will notify me when my drink is ready. The pager will vibrate and light up when your order is ready to be picked up at the counter. I only waited 6 minutes and so in the meantime, I walked around took some photos of the place. I like that there are charger stations available right behind the booths, with charge cables provided. I also like that there is an area to get your own water and utensils. It this area, you are also able to get to go bowls and lids if you wish to take leftover items home. There are also small plastic bags here too, which just seems very thoughtfully placed for the customer to be able to have access to. Next to this area is a tray return so you can bust your own table after you are done with your food. There is a small outdoor seating attached to this Meet Tea (but of course there is plenty of outdoor seating in the promenade in general) in case you wish to come here with your 4 legged pal(s). Overall, I did like my experience here. The employee taking my order at the register was friendly and the other employee at the pick up counter was as well. I would come back to try some of the desserts in the future. read more

I really like the ambiance of this place. The inside is much bigger than I expected. There is a lot of seating and phone chargers at each table. I love that there is a sink to wash your hands and a self-serve water station. Above the sink, there are also cups to pack your dessert if you can't finish it there. The menu has a lot of choices of drinks and desserts. I believe that all the drinks can be iced or hot. Next to the register, there is an easy to use self-order system for people who want to use a debit/credit card. The price of the drinks are decent. I tried the traditional milk tea with boba and green milk tea with lychee jelly. The portion of toppings is generous, but the green milk tea was extremely sweet, even though I have a big sweet tooth. Next time I will ask for 50% sweet. There is a promo every Tuesday, but unfortunately, I haven't had the chance to go on a weekday. read more

After an initial horrible 1 star experience a couple years ago, my family and I decided to give this place another try. We've been coming here for a couple times now and it's time I update the review. First, the customer service has improved significantly. The staff is much more friendly and clear. The speed has also improved and orders are coming out extremely fast! I didn't take pictures of everything but we've ordered different types of boba milk teas, jelly deserts, and the shaved ices. All have been mostly positive experiences. Of course the one thing about this location is that they tend to run out of ingredients or simply they just forget. For example the saved ice I have pictured below. This was the only one available as the strawberry one and others were not available. Even some toppings and add ons were not available. They are very stingy on the condensed milk and so most of it and just eating shaved ice with no flavoring. Update: The manager was very nice and messaged me privately to let me know that they ship their ingredients from Taiwan and has been suffering from delays which in result has been causing the limited menu. I really appreciate the attention to detail and dedication to the business. I hope to continue to see this place improve and wishing their business continued success. read more

This is my go-to place every single time I'm back in town - whether it be a day or a week, I always make time for it. I always go to the Temple City location and they have never disappointed!!! (Except the one or two times they didn't have taro balls in stock :() This time I came home for a short two day trip, and I decided to try this new Arcadia location that just opened up even closer to my parent's place. Last night I ordered a Hot Herbal Jelly No. 4 and it was DELICIOUS. Quick shout out to Jamil (not sure if that's spelled correctly, sorry!) for his amazing service too! He was super nice and told us about a couple items me and my best friend hadn't tried yet. Tonight, I went again to get a to-go order of Hot Herbal Jelly No. 1 and I WENT HOME TO UTTER DISAPPOINTMENT. We waited a good 30 minutes, and I was extremely sad to open my grass jelly to find and sad amount of barley and bits of mung bean. None of my promised mini taro balls nor boba was found. Do you know how sad it is to be excited for Meet Fresh only a handful of times a year only to be disappointed?!?! Meet Fresh is my hands-down favorite dessert place. The Temple City location has always been 10/10 as well as the Cupertino location. First time at meet fresh today with my brother. We went on a Friday around 2:30 and there was only 1 person in line in front of us. The menu is expansive and we chose to go with the chocolate deluxe waffle, however they were out and we substituted with the original waffle. The cashier was very nice and it was no problem to substitute. He got our drinks out almost immediately after paying and we waited probably 5 min for the freshly made waffle. I do wish the waiting area was more expanded, they have it sectioned off due to Covid restrictions, but I feel like it would be easier for more people to wait. The service was quick and he was very friendly. The flavor of the waffle was yummy, but I feel like the toppings were a little lack luster. The chocolate syrup and vanilla ice cream tasted like it came from Costco, which I didn't have a problem with... but for the hype I feel like it should be higher quality. I chose the coffee latte with boba and it was very nice and refreshing! Their boba is small similar to mini boba and very chewy! Not hard, which is good! I for sure want to come back and try the shave ice... I will probably skip the drink next time. read more

I'm Taiwanese and usually get meet fresh in Taiwan, since meet fresh open in cali, I suggest all my friends to give a try and they all love it. We visit lots of location , from Westwood, temple city, Arcadia, Hacienda heigh, Chino Hills, Irvine Only Cerritos branch I haven't visit yet. And most time I went to temple city and Arcadia mall. Most the time are a good experience. But I got so disappointed this time in this location ( Santa Anita mall with their male staff "Adrian" ) from the beginning we were having an order with female staff, we were just asking if they can substitute item we don't eat, and she explained to us pretty clear that they don't substitute items and if we would like to add on toppings for extra charge, we kinda understand and start ordering. When we start ordering what we want and add taro on it , a guy names Andrian (their staff) very nosy to interrupt our conversation and missinderstood what we were asking for. Ended up I was mad and still don't know what he was talking about. If you don't know the whole story, don't trying to interrupt people's conversation. He just want finish his conversation then walks away. This is so rude and very disrespect. But the female staff was nice and polite. She even apologized to us. However this is NOT acceptable! And again, we were here pay for getting sweet , not the bad mood. End up, this store gave pretty small and stingy proportions, I feel I didn't have get jelly shaved Ice underneath. Really really disappointed :( If you in this location, you should considering go to the other branch in the Temple city. You will feel the HUGE difference read more

From coming back from a place (haidilao) with the most impeccable a+++++ service to coming to this dessert place with rude little teenie boppers helping us, I wish we would have just went somewhere else. Wanted to change for a $10 bill and ask for $1 dollar bills so I can tip them. There was a shit load of $1 bills in the tip jar. I asked the cashier and she said it wasn't allowed. LOL im dead. She was rude about it too. I asked for napkins to another worker because the dispenser was empty and she didn't respond. I asked her a second time because I thought she didn't hear me since she didn't respond the first time. So she made it seem like I was rushing her. (I was not) she said "I'm getting to it ma'am" with some sassy attitude. She could have passed me a couple napkins but she took her sweet old time filling up the empty dispenser. She could not be bothered LOL Such bad attitude and dirty mouths from the little teenaged girls who work there. All they do is stand around and talk, slacking off. This Taiwanese dessert place is so interesting! I have never seen such the large selection of hot and cold Taiwanese desserts. Food can be eaten in or to go. Parking: The parking is free but it is mall parking and not close to the store. Ambience: casual place, you bus your own tables. There is inside seating and a shared patio area outside. Once you order from the self ordering station or the cashier they give you a pager. When your food is done you are paged to pick it up. Food: a vast selection of desserts. Service: I don't think people here are friendly. I came at least three times and definitely they are not that great. Busy or not, same results. Why do I come back? Because they have pretty good stuff and I don't interact with the team enough to care that much, but I will take off a star for that. Boba: I guess if you're at the mall, this is actually the best place to get legit tea. Shaved ice: They also have pretty amazing shaved ice for an ok price. lol. I usually come when I am with friends or family that wants dessert because this place offers something no one else does at the mall. Besides the price, the shaved ice is pretty legit. You can customize your toppings so that part is always great. The portions per topping is adequate for what you get. Oddly enough, I do recommend this spot for boba and shaved ice, just keep in mind you won't get the best service and you may pay more than you should be for basic dessert. Also, it's still better than some places at the mall for boba. ‍ just saying. read more
