Meet Leftovers: Coming from AZ,, I thought our Meet Fresh was just bad because it was not coming straight from California or trained from California. But this location here was surprisingly not good. Maybe it's not as good as it used to be. We ordered the mango berry shaved ice. It was not soft shaved ice. Clumps of ice. The strawberry and mango were frozen. Then they just put a clump of condensed milk that was frozen. And then they put a clump of ice on top. So disappointing. Looked nothing like the pictures. Never again for me unfortunately. Hope others have a better experience. read more

Love Meet Fresh and the staff - they're always nice. But there was no AC during my last two visits, which made the dine - in experience less comfortable. read more

I'm a huge fan of Meet Fresh and used to drive quite far to satisfy my cravings before this location opened up. That being said, the service and quality here is definitely lacking in comparison to older locations - maybe it's because they know clientele will wait in line regardless? 1) Although they say they check proof of vaccination, they've never actually checked which doesn't feel safe. They also never enforce the social distancing stickers - there's always aunties and uncles who insist on pressing as close as possible in line, and the employee will just stand by and watch when I complain or a verbal argument ensues. 2) There's often only one employee taking care of both the food and the cash register. It's not sanitary (I don't want the same hands that are touching cash to touch my food...) and there's always a long wait (not to mention the orders often get mixed up). Please do better and hire more staff! 3) This last time I visited, I ordered 2 hot soups (the grass jelly signature and a red bean with boba) - both were SUPER watered down with so much liquid that at first, I thought they forgot to put in any toppings at all. This hasn't happened at any other location so I know it's not the typical Meet Fresh recipe. read more

Couple weekends ago, I got a chance to try Meet Fresh. Luckily the line wasn't too long. I ordered a few of their signature desserts. 1. Hot Red Bean Soup - very good, but I would have liked it a tad sweeter 2. Hot Grass Jelly Soup Signature - this was bland... needs some sweetness IMHO 3. Icy Grass Jelly Signature - good, but grass jelly wasn't sweet enough... they normally aren't... maybe the soup needed to be sweetened a bit Staff and service was okay. Prices are decent. I'll have to return and try their shaved ice and drinks options next time. Give them a try and get some meet fresh when you're in the Arcadia area. Enjoy! read more

Yummy Taiwanese style desserts with a great selection. We got a taro shaved ice and a passion sorbet B. The shaved ice seemed to have everything under the sun and more than one single bowl. I cannot even describe all the different things - taro paste, Boba balls, taro, balls, caramel, pudding, ice cream, red bean, condensed milk. These are definitely big enough to share, even the medium size. It melted really fast though. The passion fruit sorbet had almond jelly, red bean, taro balls. It was a smaller, single serving type portion, and it was perfect. Very refreshing and very tasty. Service is quick, and the dining room has pretty ample seating. read more

I went there several times and tried their egg waffles and tofu pudding. The original egg waffle was crispy outside and softly inside. The chocolate deluxe waffle with ice-cream and nuts was so good, and the waffle itself was chocolatey. I like their taro paste, too. Tofu pudding is also a good choice for me, but it would be better if it is more silky. It is good to have a convenient place to eat dessert and rest after shopping. read more

Highly recommend that you order on the app 20 mins prior to picking up (for any order - even a simple drink will take 20 mins). Their pudding milk tea has been my go to! Perfectly sweetened with an abundant amount of pudding and grass jelly. So tasty and so refreshing! Too bad I usually visit the mall in late afternoon... and I can't have the whole drink without sabotaging my sleep schedule for the night. Skip the egg waffles - they are harrrrrrd and tasted super stale despite being freshly made. read more

My first time try Meet Fresh Brown Sugar Boba milk tea. Tips: using mobile app and order online so you can skip the line during a busy weekend. This location located at the Arcadia mall. Packed during weekend. I got my drink pretty quick cause I ordered ahead. I was a bit disappointed to see the drink. It doesn't look right. Looks like HK milk tea not brown sugar boba milk tea. I got the regularly sweetness, OMG it almost choke me. Sweet to a different level. Avoid regular sweet if you can. Drink doesn't taste good either, too sweet and I don't taste any tea flavor in it. Inside is super busy but there are outdoor seating areas you can sit. read more

I've never really cared for the type of desserts this place advertises but I've always seen long lines with this chain. Since my mom is a fan of the type of desserts this place offers, I decided to give it a shot. Our mistake was ordering the wrong items. My mom ordered the grass jelly signature based on the photo and didn't realize it didn't have taro in it. So, she was disappointed because of that. It was just okay and as the name states, there is a lot of grass jelly. I ordered my dad a boba milk tea when he actually wanted the boba cafe advertised on the screen only. The boba milk tea was standard and too sweet since I forgot to ask for sugar adjustment. The one thing I'd get again would be the herbal tea with milk. It was refreshing and the three of us actually enjoyed it. If I were to give this place another shot, I'd order accordingly but I was not convinced enough this visit to go again another time. read more

We were deciding between the boba stores and decided to get shaved ice instead due to the hot weather. There were two kiosks and the line was short but took a while because the kiosks were slow and wouldn't sense the touch. We received our shaved ice rather quickly. But when we received it, it was already melted half way... and the ice tasted chunky rather than smooth. It didn't even look filled to the top. It was so unappetizing and unappealing. I was really disappointed considering we paid $10 for a small bowl of melted ice and some toppings. Super disappointed after this occurrence. read more

Food: Meet fresh used to be one of my favorite dessert places in China. You could actually taste the taro in the taro balls. But I don't like how the taro balls here in the US just taste like boba - only chewy and feels like they're made from powder. Even the rice balls taste exactly like boba. All the texture are very similar and have no layers. But the red bean soup base is decent and the taro itself is great. Price: it's very pricey. A red bean soup combo comes out to $10+ without adding anything. Service and ambiance: not much service. It's pretty much self serve: you get your own water and pick up your food when it's ready. The place is cute with seating available. It's usually packed. read more

favorite place to go to everytime we visit the mall! i like the hot grass jelly and you can build your own and choose your own toppings

No dine-in. Only take out. Social distance doesn't exist when you are in line to take order and waiting for your order. If you are cautious and sensitive to be with people less than 6 ft due to COVID.. this is not the place you want to be. Ordered two drinks .. Lemon wintermelon drink - disappointed is my summary of my drink. I ordered this drink many times since it's my favorite during hot days.. this place.. wow.. where is the consistent quality for Meet Fresh?! Don't taste much lemon flavor.. it wasn't mix well. I tried to mix it but lemon flavor still not strong . 98% of the taste is wintermelon. Black sugar boba milk tea - it's alright. Boba is chewy.. I would said its more on the soft side.. if they cook for another 1 minute be too soft and won't have the chewy texture.. Not sure whats going on with the store.. AC is not on or is broken.. kitchen seems like it's flood with water... Not safe for employees to walk when there are tons of water.. read more

I've heard a lot of good things about Meat Fresh (the one located at Temple City), but I've never actually tried it. So, on Friday evening , We decided to give it a try. I'm surprised that there is no line at all. We placed our orders which is listed below. - The Taro Volcano Shave Ice: Perfect dessert for summer. It comes with a bunch of toppings of sweet deliciousness, including a pudding, which I like it very much. I kinda wish they put more toppings to match the shaved ice, because i ran out of toppings while eating my shave ice. - Herbal Tea w/ Fresh Milk: Definetely become one of my favorite drinks of all time. I usually stay away from "Herbal" label because I'm more like a milk tea guy. However, this Herbal tea is absolutely delish! Whenever I came back to this place I'll definetely get this drink. - Winter Melon Drink: I must say i'm a little biased when it comes to Winter Melon because I didn't like it. So I have to give it to you to decide whether its good or not. read more

the winter melon tea is refreshing! it tastes like tapioca but in liquid form, overall 7/10

This is the strawberry shaved ice when I JUST got it, the strawberries aren't fresh they're super syrupy and this was $16. SO NOT WORTH IT save your money!!! Way better places in the same area for cheaper. -update- I emailed them like they requested below and have not heard back lol read more

This is a good place to grab some authentic Taiwanese desserts. It usually had a long queue prior to the pandemic. Now it's no dine-in. Only take out. For take out, the container was pretty small. read more

They have above average egg waffle. Besides egg waffle, tofu dessert is our favorite too. I like big variety of dessert, hot and cold. Seasonal items keep the menu refreshed. WOW, the Blueberry Muffins were amazing and super delicious! They even warmed it up for us. Thank you Meet Fresh!

Meet Fresh is just so popular these days! I've come multiple times since LA reopening and I've tried their QQ milk tea and their taro shaved ice. Both are pretty good. The QQ milk tea has baby taro balls which were a little weird tasting (2/5 stars) but the taro shaved ice was really tasty and also came with ice cream and a good assortment of toppings! Order and pay at the kiosk - there's no more ordering with a cashier. Prices are pretty high so expect to pay about $5 for a drink and under $10 (including tax and tip) for a shaved ice or other dessert. Parking is ample in the underground parking lot and there's always plenty of tables even though it's pretty crowded. Their restrooms can be kind of messy/dirty and if they're really busy, the staff forgets to refill the water station (even if you ask them to 3x). Workers here can be a little mean or have attitude probably because they're understaffed or it's just so busy. read more

the brown sugar milk is very good i get it all the time with boba. also the service is very good.

March 2023 Food/Pricing - Taro Tofu Pudding ($8) - Ordered it hot, it was a little warm at best. Expected it to be steaming hot. Tofu could be more silky but it was fine. Overall taste was good. Just wish it were hotter. Caramel Pudding Milk Tea ($6.25) - Pudding was yum but the milk tea itself tasted watered down. Service/Ambiance - Service was quick. I wish the almond drink was available all year round and not just certain months. I absolutely love that item and would come a lot more often if it was available for longer. Parking - Mall parking. read more

We wanted something refreshing after hot pot and also introducing some authentic Asian desserts to our friends so we decided to try something new here. Not sure if it's due to Covid, I find a lot of the desserts are not available such as the egg waffle. It's quite convenient to order through the iPads on the wall on the right side after you walk inside the front door. Don't mistaken by the people waiting outside. Most likely they have already ordered and just waiting for it outside. I kinda want to try the pudding shave ice but since there is no place to sit down, I ended up getting Strawberry slushy instead. It tasted really good and was exactly what I wanted after a spicy hot pot meal. It's pretty sweet and you can taste the fresh strawberries. My friend tried the taro slushy but unfortunately she didn't like it that much. She find the fresh taro texture a bit funny and was not used to that taste. Overall it was a good experience here. Hopefully once the store fully reopened we can come back to try more. read more

I've come here a couple of times and struggled to find which of the dessert combos would be my go-to order. Having gone several times now, I think I've found my order-- Icy Grass Jelly B. I'm a huge fan of taro and red bean so this combo worked perfectly for me. I rate this place a 5/5 solely for the desserts. I will say that the service can be a bit spotty, but I haven't had any bad encoutners so far. Most of the tables aren't wiped down as this place is always packed with customers seated inside. This place is so bomb! I always have to get it when I'm in Artesa/Arcadia area since they don't have one in Anaheim. I love the Taiwanese deserts they serve here especially the red bean with grass jelly! This last time I was here we tried the regular black milk tea, jasmine green tea and milk with grass jelly series and my favorite was the milk with grass jelly! I thought it was just a fancy way of saying milk tea with grass jelly but it's so refreshing especially on a very hot day. The drinks are pre sweetened but there is a small selection of brewed teas that you can adjust if you need to. They also serve snacks such as the waffles. It always smells so good when you walk in! I have yet to try them so that will probably be my next thing to try when I come back! read more

Love this Taiwanese dessert shop located at the 2nd outdoor promenade. This location sometimes is short staffed and a bit busy at times hence the 1 less star, but the server is hardworking and courteous. I recommend the shaved ice with grass jelly and the taro sweet potato balls. For drink, I love the black tea with taro paste. You can really taste the real taro not powder. They also have made to order egg waffle. Highly recommended. read more

I love coming to Meet Fresh whenever I am at Westfield Santa Anita Mall, and my wife is always a huge fan of the chain. We saw that Meet Fresh had a deal for $8.80 for one ube egg waffle with one drink, so we decided to take advantage of the deal while it lasted. We ordered an ube egg waffle and we paired it with a winter melon tea, 50% sweet. The winter melon tea was very refreshing on a hot summer day. The egg waffle was made to order, and quite flaky and delicious. We will definitely come back again to try other desserts. read more

AUTHENTIC TAIWANESE EXQUISITE DESSERTS FRESH NATURAL HEALTHFUL Meet Fresh lives up to its motto and delivers on their promise. Their strawberry shaved ice was layered with the freshest, perfectly ripened strawberries, house-made ice cream, sweetened condensed milk that was not too heavy. Prepared just right. Perhaps the tastiest I have tried. The oolong milk tea with fresh boba was another big hit. A smooth, refreshing milk tea drink with warm black sugar tapioca balls that remained chewy and did not harden even a couple hours later. A distinct difference in quality and freshness from other Taiwanese dessert shops I have tried made me an instant fan. It comes as no surprise that they use selected ingredients and traditional processes, including to make their soft taro balls and delicate herbal jelly desserts. Moreover, Meet Fresh prioritizes in serving authentic, healthy desserts without preservatives. I am sold! My new, clear choice for Taiwanese desserts and handcrafted boba drinks in the San Gabriel Valley. Solid tea and milk tea drinks. The shaved ice trays, in particular, are definitely a must-try! read more

Didn't know they opened a location in the mall, which is cool! We wanted drinks and headed there to order some drinks. We got three of the QQ wintermelon tea with boba and a mango slushee with lychee jelly.
