Wow wow wow! I'm amazed and changed my mind about this place.. I never was a fan of cold dishes till I tried this place... wowwwwww! So beautiful dishes very vibrant colors and taste amazing. Quality to the roof .. I don't know how should I describe this cold dishes I tried I've tried their Grass jelly signature bowl with taro balls .. The dish comes in a single size bowl for individual Bottom of dish have sweet grass jelly shaved iced about half bowl.. Top with Taro balls (broiled) very soft texture but not mush. Also have high quality grass jelly. In bowl.. They also give you 2 free creamers which I believe must be almond milk ! I also tried their new seasonal hot soup . Usually the experience here is about 3 stars. The desserts and drinks are good, pretty pricey, and the wait is long. They took away the self ordering kiosk and the online ordering was down. And only 1 cashier. This particular experience was a 0 star. We ordered a potaro tofu pudding and signature red bean soup. The wait for these 2 items was over 20min. And when I finally asked them about our order, they said they were out of boba and said it would be 1 min. 10min later, they still said the boba would be 1 min so I asked them to substitute taro balls instead. I asked for a bigger bag to carry the 2 desserts since I was carrying shopping bags on 1 hand and a purse on the other. The employee said both desserts would fit in the 1 small bag and she proceeded to smoosh the 2 bf bowl of dessert into the 1st bag. I can't say it didn't fit, but I did have to hold handles with my thumb and pinky. The handles didn't meet. As I was heading to my car, one handle slipped out of my pinky then my thumb and both desserts spilled. I was already so done with the day that we just left. Oh, and in the spilled red bean soup, I only saw the taro balls substitute. The rice balls, taro, and other ingredients were all absent. So I just spent $20 and 30min waiting for mediocre service, packaging, either the wrong order or they didn't put in most of the toppings they charged me for that I didn't get to eat anyways. We shop here often so I'm sure we'll forget this horrible experience at some point and get a drink or dessert here. Disappointed but maybe I just didn't order the right thing. I got the fluffy herbal ice drink with grass jelly and to be honest, I wasn't entirely sure what I was ordering. It just sounded different and I wanted something refreshing. The drink was straight up ice. The fluffy cream and grass jelly was all at the top of the drink and it was like torture because I couldn't get to it! Too much ice in the way! The straw was too short and it was so frustrating and messy lol. Is it the greatest boba place in California, hardly. It's nice. I had the mango green iced tea and Yan had a slushie thing with fruit and ice cream. That was kind of weird but it was what it was. The drink was exactly what I thought it would be but it had like three ice cubes in it. Being it's located in a mall, I'm sure it will do well. The menu looks huge but most of the items are really similar. I don't like the fact that they charge more for "fresh" milk. Seriously? Shouldn't you make it with good quality ingredients anyway? We waited 30 mins. When I asked those girls. They were chatting and eating and being very mean to me, said " oh sorry. Forgot your Order. Do you still want it?" then rashly made my order very badly. How can you just skip someone's order? I'm very unhappy that they made elder people wait that long for their own mistakes without positive attitude. Feel shame for those two young girls. So, so disappointed at this place. Started with a greeting telling me I'll have to wait if I order, which isn't any problem. I ordered the Chocolate Deluxe and strawberry/mango shaved ice. First, they didn't have the chocolate egg waffle but they can make it with chocolate chip. No biggie, I compromised. I eventually got my order and the chocolate deluxe has none of the toppings or ice cream. When I asked the lady about it, she said I had to order each item separately. I was a bit annoyed at this time because she could have told me earlier when I ordered it. I asked how much it was to order the ice cream and wanted to pay for it. Then I was told I had to go back to wait in line to pay for the ice cream. (FYI place was busy). Now, I'm super annoyed. I went ahead and did just that, then the ice cream was put in the little container for sauces like ketchup...No joke! I would say it was about a 2 tbsp scoop. I was just ready to leave the establishment. I went out to eat my shave ice and it found that it was purely liquid!!! Back to the establishment I went, and I asked if they can remake it. I showed the lady how it was all liquid. She offered to give me ice, but I refused since it'll dilute everything even more. She then said I have to wait another 20 minutes if she remakes it (at this time, I was already there for about 45 minutes). I told her that I'll just take a refund. She really tried to help me but I couldn't help but to be frustrated because the next thing she said was she couldn't process my refund because the manager was not present. She tried calling corporate and they were having discussions on what to do. In the end, I'm there more than 1 hour, so I gave up and asked her to just give me the ice to make everything less of a hassle. Then she offered to make me the new shaved ice at the time!!! For the most part, I never had an issue with the service. However I went in tonight 12/9 to order some desserts and the group of workers there were chatting (understandable because it was slow). I approached the cash register and a male worker had his back towards the entrance and leaned back toward the cash register. I made eye contact with another worker he was talking with and smiled and they greeted me. The worker at the register turned to look at me and then turned back around to chat. He didn't turned back around until after someone had told him to take my order first before continuing to chat. I suppose he was annoyed since he asked for my order with an annoyed tone. Visited this location yesterday 4/28 around 3/4pm. My group and I were intrigued by the Win Win tea and decided to ask the server at the register what was inside of it. He replied saying "Boba and Lychee Jelly," something that was already stated on the menu. We asked again more specifically what the tea was (in terms of the base of the tea and how it tasted). Upon asking, the server rolled his eyes, sighed, and replied "It's a milk tea with boba and lychee." We were extremely taken aback by his attitude and ordered other drinks that we were familiar with. This is a lovely place for an after dinner kick back. There are plenty of cables for you to juice up your phone after a long day; they carry all sorts of USB cables too, ranging from USB Type-B, USB Type-C, and even the iphone ones! You can't really go wrong with meet fresh, their dessert is relatively healthy as most Asian desserts are. I especially love their taro/sweet potato mochi balls with the grass jelly, with some creamer poured on top. However, the reason why I gave this place a 3-star was because of its terrible wait time. The store was filled up with people sitting at their tables, but with no food! That's because they either did not have enough staff working, or everyone is not yet up to speed. I could tell other tables were very unsatisfied with the wait tile as well, and it definitely contributed to how crowded the restaurant was, considering how some people just wanted to get their dessert to-go and leave. All in all, if you come in during a non-peak/non-dessert time, you will have a great experience. Otherwise, watch out for how many people haven't gotten their dessert yet. read more

However on my most recent visit at this location on Wed 1/30/2019, my friend and I shared a hot Grass Jelly Taro Ball dessert. However it was NOT hot, not even lukewarm. We didn't know what to make of it. It was like room temperature? Wanted to complain however would they just put it in the microwave? We didn't wanna waste time since it was getting late/cold. This branch appears to be newer & nicer than the other places. The stuffs they offered here were just as good, really unable to tell the difference. Therefore, it is one convenient location for those customers who live around Arcadia. Their a/c was very comfortable when we visited. Meet Fresh is pretty consistent everywhere I got, except I feel like this Arcadia location is a bit wonky. Sometimes they're great, sometimes they're not. I've had milk teas that weren't shaken enough or the flavor was just too watered down. The grass jelly ice is probably the only thing that is consistent here. I always get mine with a variety of the sweet potato and taro mochi balls, grass jelly, pudding, matcha mochi balls, or with boba. The only thing I really dislike about this place is that it's not too sanitary. There are always dirty dishes, napkins, utensils, or tables lying around. I wish they put in a little bit more effort into cleaning and staying on top of it. It's a great location, being at the Santa Anita Mall, but it's not the location that I would steer towards. read more

I ordered the Winwin boba iced milk tea because it was starred as a popular item and it was delicious! It has lychee bits and boba. The boba is a bit smaller than most usual boba shops, which made it easier to chew and actually let the flavor of the drink shine through a bit easier. The actual drink wasn't overly sweet and the milk tea was just right. I haven't tried other drinks or items on the menu yet but maybe I will come around to doing that the next time I visit. Just like the store name, for really fresh desert/drinks, you need to try Meet Fresh. They recently opened 4th store near my home. So good.. I have tried their Strawberry Grass Jelly Shaved Ice. Strawberries were so big and fresh. Nothing like the strawberries you see at other desert/drink places. Boba was soft, juicy, and tender... just perfect. I have not tasted this good boba in Southern CA. Maybe this is why customers are constantly coming. Line never stops. Store floor was little messy with napkins and it wasn't too bad. There are plenty of photo chargers (all kinds - apple, samsung, lg) along the wall. You don't have to worry about your phone dying on you. I would definitely come back again to try out drinks (so many choices) and hot bean soups and simple deserts. I haven't had this kind of Taiwanese dessert in such a long time, so I was really craving for it. I created my own dessert. I got the grass jelly base. For toppings, I got sweet potato taro ball, caramel pudding, taro ball, taro paste ball, q-mochi, melon jelly, and mini taro ball. It came out to be $17.03, which is pretty expensive for a dessert. However, I really wanted to try as many of the toppings as possible. You must be thinking I'm crazy for getting so many mochi. I'd tell you everything was delicious. It's not too sweet, which I like. It's hard to say which is my favorite because all the toppings were yummy and had their unique texture. What I found to be most interesting is the Japanese Q-mochi. They give you two pieces one black and one white. It was quite different from the other kinds of mochi. I also really liked the taro paste ball. Taro is a unique flavor to Taiwanese cuisine/dessert, and I'm glad that this shop is able to serve authentic Taiwanese food in the states. read more

The review isn't for the store or service specifically but I still fault them for putting up a sign that has their QR code and saying this would be a quicker and simpler way to order when it absolutely is not. My order was not accepted the two times I placed it because I got a message the store was busy, which I thought was the point of ordering online, but they still charged my credit card twice. Then I had a difficult time placing my usual order. Third cashier had to give me a disclaimer that they cannot accept blame for if my drink is not sweet because I ordered it without sugar. I placed an order on Jan 13th, 2021 for pick up when they opened at 11am. My order was cancelled. Since I was next door picking up DTF for lunch, I thought I'd stop by to make an in-person order instead. There was a tall skinny non-Asian guy standing by the door. Apparently he works there. He told me he saw my order came in but cancelled it because they didn't have what I ordered available. He then assured me no worries that they would refund my credit card. EXCEPT they did NOT refund my credit card. They charged my credit card 2 days later and now I have to dispute it. I get my Taiwanese desserts from Meet Fresh all the time but this is so annoying. Other merchants have it set up that when the order gets cancelled (due to the merchant's unavailability, not the fault of customer), they don't charge you. Please have this fixed. read more

Happened to see this place while shopping the Promenade section of the Santa Anita Mall and thought it looked interesting. The drinks were delicious and I had one of their iced Taro Specialty desserts....loved it as it wasn't overly sweet. I would give 5 stars for the drinks and dessert, but the service lacks. The lady taking the order is incredibly rushed and unfriendly. We already knew what we were going to order and before we could finish she's already interrupting...Is that it...is that it....is that it? Holy Sh*t, No!!! There's 5 of us here...It's a busy place so as we waited I watched the employees be impatient with just about every customer. They had a line of mobile orders at their counter but the orders didn't have names or an order # on them. I was very disappointed with my experience here at Meet Fresh. We came in excited to get some drinks and maybe some dessert too. The menu is big, with a lot of variety on it. However the staff seemed very disinterested in helping us. We asked simole questions such as if the fruit is fresh, and they could not be bothered to answer truthfully or clearly. We asked how the shaved ice was made and they seemed confused as to why we would even ask that, and rudely responded to us. We then tried to order a Mango Shaved Ice, and they said it was a seasonal item and was out of stock. The kicker is that the shaved ice takes up 20% of the menu, but there were no signs saying it was out of stock. We ended up ordering a strawberry smoothie and mixed fruit smoothie. The mixed fruit smoothie was not that good but the strawberry smoothie was actually tasty, though they messed up on that one as well. They also did not have open seating,which was weird considering every other restaurant in the mall was open. We might be willing to try again in the future, but probably not at this time. We've gone to Meet Fresh multiple times in other locations, and we very disappointed with our experience. read more
