From Matt in the service department to Sheldon in dealer services, to the owners themselves- there is a level of customer service you simply do not feel at other dealerships. We went to Mazda after being at a Suburu dealership and besides the cars at Mazda being an overall better product, the atmosphere here is incredibly welcoming and ready to take on your business with the utmost respect. This was my second car-buying experience here through Sheldon, one of their many stellar sales people, and he did a phenomenal job. Spent a week texting one of the Salesperson Mike about my financial issues, came in a day before my appointment and was greeted by his manager Junior. He was super helpful and knowledgeable. I came in to get a reliable vehicle w/ my mother. What happened next? Not only did I leave with a vehicle, but my mother did also! Purchased a vehicle here and asked for Carfax to be given prior to purchasing. They gave a sheet that had missing dates and information. Found carfax online and showed the lot had our vehicle since December. Asked sales person how long they had had the vehicle and they said 3 weeks. Obviously a lie. Wasn't willing to make a deal when they had been sitting on the car for almost half a year. He didn't acknowledge me at all, told him why I was there and he basically said well we are busy and I don't know when we could look at your car in two weeks. I had to say okay as my car is not functioning. So here I sit in the parking lot as I wait for a ride w my two kids. Not one person ha acknowledged me. My wife and I went to Mazda of Everett when we decided the CX-30 was the next new car for us! On February 16th we got it! This is the second new Mazda we have gotten from this dealership in the last year and we couldn't be happier! The total experience has been positive: (1) The biggest reason is our Salesman - Tim Hack. He is knowledgable, no-pressure, honest and cares so much about making long-term customer relationships, and it shows. He gave us space, offered to answer questions and was very candid about the pros and cons of this model. The bottom line is my wife and I felt we were completely making an informed decision on our own - which we deeply appreciate about Tim's style. So, we elected to lease this one and Tim again was instrumental in answering our questions about purchasing versus leasing. Once we decided, he put the deal together with us and teamed up with Finance Director Tom Randall who had 90% of our paperwork done by the time we got to his office the next day! Wow! The paperwork took less than an hour and we were out the door with our new car! Tom was also knowledgeable, organized and efficient. Like Tim, Tom was personable and easy to work with. We had a great experience working with Tom. As we were heading out the door to leave for home we ran into one of the owners, Ron. We had a nice chat; I feel he was genuinely interested in our experience and asked if there was anything the dealership could have done to improve on the experience. We talked about my family's overall satisfaction - the fact this was our second purchase and how the second was as seamlessly friendly as the first! He handed me his card and I believe he meant it when he said to call if we have any problems. I doubt we will... It's been almost 2 months and we are still very happy with our new car! I just had the best (by far) car buy/lease experience of my 60 year life at Mazda of Everett. My daughter needed a new lease on short notice. I contacted Jay Tsay in sales at Mazda of Everett. Immediately I noticed a difference from the normal car buying experience. He was very responsive, friendly, professional and freely gave me info and prices with no promise of a site visit from me first. When we came to get the car, the entire staff echoed Jay's behavior and got us in and out very quickly. We felt comfortable and in control the entire time. Mazda is hands down the best dealership I've been too. Every person I talk to has a great attitude, and it always more than helpful. I just purchased my 3rd new car there. Luke has helped me each time, and is never pushy and listens to every knit picky detail I want in my new car. This review is for my car. My pile of shit 2010 Mazda 3. I'm currently waiting for Triple AAA to come jump me so I might as well write a review. 1. Clutch gave out after 1 year. Called in, nothing they can do. Spent $3000 to get it fixed. I figured, my bad. I didn't get it checked out before buying it. 2. Door stopped working. I got stuck inside. $300 3. Trunk latch would not work. Got that fixed for free. Thank you Kirkland Mazda. 4. Tree fell on my car. No one's fault but Jesus Christ. 5. Drivers seat bolt came loose while driving. This is apparently common in Mazdas. I kind of wish I had crashed it in to a tree. 6. Air conditioning went out. $1,000. 7. I'm on battery number 3 in the 4 years I have it. Maybe the alternator is bad. I'm so excited to see what this will cost. I'll have to sell one of my children. And these cars depreciate faster than shit after a Taco Bell meal. I reserve 5 stars for select instances, and Mazda of Everett definitely deserves it. I bought my latest new car here and this will be my first stop for future cars. Most dealerships say "no hassle" but it is true here. Sheldon was more customer service than salesman. He didn't pressure us and face my wife and I space to talk about our purchase without hovering. It also made test drives more fun to not have a salesman jabbering the whole ride. When we wanted to try multiple models, he had the next one ready by the time one test drive was over. It is also nice that the dealership is dog friendly. Having your dog next to you helps reduce the stress if the car buying experience. So I wrote a review this morning that was pretty bad so I figured I my as well might write one that is really good. I had been in this dealership a few times and one of the times I was ignored during a Seahawks game but that was resolved as no business is perfect. Anyways, I did purchase a CX-5 from Frank there and it was the most pleasurable car buying experience I have had, if buying a car can be a pleasure. While there I met many of the the other sales people who were all friendly and genuine in wanting to help people buy a car and not sell them something they had. That is one of the things that I think makes this dealership stand out. The owner, Jerry is active with the business and loves to interact with his customers. Many owners of dealerships seem to have out to the way offices and not interact. This dealer empowers its sales people and there is no "sales manager" type that swoops in and tries to tell you that we cant sell the car for that. I bought my car there two years ago and they service the car timely as well and make sure you are happy. Recently I went with some friend back there and they bought a vehicle from Frank. In this situation they knew what they wanted to pay for the vehicle and it was accepted and there was no back and forth. A successful sale is one where both parties are happy in the end and in this case it happened quickly. My lease is up in a year and I am not sure what I will do at this point. Jordan was absolutely amazing. He was a young salesman but definitely doesn't think in terms of sales but rather in terms of building the business at Mazda of Everett. A total keeper I might add. The best part about the process was that Jordan knew more about the Mazda that I purchased than I did. As a Mazda owner of 13 years and ready for an upgrade, I had been researching the Mazda 3 and the different options for more than 3 years. It was nice to know that he was as passionate about my future Mazda 3 as I was. He even let me bump the amazing Bose stereo as loud as I wanted, which was awesome. Oh the bass and clarity. Jordan didn't push his agenda. When I told him what I wanted, he didn't try to steer me away. He let me be the guide and call the shots. I didn't even need to haggle over price and we all know that's what people dread about the car buying process. The negotiation was completely finished in a short period of time. Last but not least, Jordan was genuinely friendly. I greatly appreciated his tireless energy and spirit. It was nice to know that Jordan, Jerry and Ron were willing to take the time to invest in networking and building a personal but not too personal relationship. After moving north from Olympia, I decided to bring my 2012 3 hatch here for regularly scheduled maintenance. I called them up to ask about their spring service special, and approximately how long it would take (I was trying to squeeze it into my work day). I was quoted and hour and made the appointment. I was 15 minutes early to drop off my car, and hoped it would be completed by noon (it was an 11am appointment). By 11:30, the service advisor met me in the waiting area to let me know the service was complete, and the additional services they suggested. I declined, letting him know I was on a time crunch. He said they would finish the vacuum and wash and have it ready ASAP. Well, at 12:25, he finally came to let me know everything was done. When I went to pay, he ignored the service coupon I had already presented by charging me the full amount. I also noticed some other nickel and dime charges on there. I reminded him of the coupon and ignored the other charges as I was already running late. I was fine with the slow service and absentminded service advisor. But I noticed a few days later that they used a synthetic blend instead of the full synthetic oil that I paid for. Being that they're the dealer and know that the engine should only be serviced with full synthetic, this was deeply disappointing. By far one of the sleaziest service departments I've ever dealt with. I won't be going back. read more

This is by far the worst experience that I've had shopping for a car. I reached out to this dealership through the Costco auto program and received a call from Bebs and was put through to Joe Garcia. Having told him that I'm looking for the Mazda CX-5 and given him my color preferences, I asked him for pricing information. And this is where things started going south. Mr.Garcia rapidly started rattling out numbers to me. Despite my insistence that I wasn't at my desk and able to note this down, and a request to send the numbers by email, I was repeatedly told "No, you write it down". After half a day of waiting for said email, I noticed that they had a feedback form that would get feedback directly to the owner, and I thought I'd like to let him know about my experience. A day later, I got a response from Ron Carr one of the owners, and he stood behind his employee (which was admirable) and insisted that there was nothing wrong. To quote him from his email - "You should be present like you were at the other dealership to even get a written quote.. We get mystery shopped on a constant basis, and Its getting harder and harder to conduct business in an orthodoxed way. Mr. Garcia also stated that he emailed you a price as discussed...although reluctantly. We are the number one Mazda Dealer is the state... and Mr. Garcia has been here since day 1." I explained once again that I was not looking for a full fledged written quote, but just the numbers that were being called out be sent over email, and that Mr.Garcia had in fact not sent the email. A few minutes later, Ron Carr forwards me a copy of the email that was apparently sent to me. This email had been sent instead to "leads@costco.com". Sure, could have been an honest mistake on Joe's part, but when I pointed this out, this is how Mr.Carr responded: "But we did send it yesterday nonetheless It was probably redirected to Costco..... well there is the price." Who cares if it was sent yesterday, if it wasn't sent to me. How'd Mr.Carr like the car payments be made this way - if a customer responds saying that I sent the payment in, just to my landlady and not you, but that's okay right? I should add that Bebs was trying to straighten everything out in the middle of this email exchange, but she wrote back in the middle and told that she was asked to step aside by the owner. With an attitude like this towards selling a car, I'd be surprised if this dealership stayed afloat too long, especially given how competent, responsive and hospitable the other 2 dealerships that I've communicated with have been. read more

Car shopping has never been an experience we enjoyed. When we walked into Mazda of Everett, we were not expecting much. In fact, we were expecting the typical car salesman. Immediately after arriving, we were able to browse the car lot freely without the pressure. Jason approached us and asked what we were looking for and if we saw anything we were interested in. I knew I wanted a CX-5, so Jason showed us a few that were within our budget and had all the options we were looking for. We did not feel pressured at any given time w/ Jason, which we really appreciated. After making a decision on the car, they made the rest of the process sooo quick and easy for us!! From Jason, to Bob, to Tony.....everyone was extremely helpful. They were all very involved in our process and made sure we were happy and satisfied with our decision, we also had the pleasure to meet Jerry the owner. I bought my first car from them, and came back a few years later to find another one because it was totaled. Didn't work out so well. If you choose to buy from them make sure you go to your bank for the loan. They gave me a 7.9% APR. Thankfully I turned that down, because the next day I went to BECU and they offered me 2.9% APR. don't fall for the free car washes. If they're desperate enough for the sale they'll even offer you free oil changes for a year. It's probably not worth it. But that's up to you. I regret buying my first car from them knowing now that I was probably scammed. I ended up going to CarMax and getting a much better deal this time. read more

I filled out a credit application online and got hooked up with Mazda of Everett. I got a call from Randy and he confirmed my approval with me over the phone and tried to set up a time to come in. I mentioned to him that it's over an hour away and I'd like to get an idea of the inventory on their lot. He seemed to get frustrated and told me that they don't list all of the cars, so I asked for an idea on crossovers that he had. He then said that he was new and would have someone call me back in 5 minutes to go over what's available. I never received a call... some times passes and I see a new inquiry on my credit from this dealership. I called to see what's going on and spoke to Marcus.... he was absolutely disrespectful to me and told me that they had every right to pull my credit again and that they never followed up with my because I didn't seem interested enough (then why pull my credit?) he got very upset with me and told me that my credit was so bad that there's nothing they can do for me and bashed my credit to me a few times before he mentioned that I wouldn't even be able to get anything off the lot. I asked why I was told I was approved by Randy? I know my credit isn't that bad so I pressed him as to why he was shouting at me for following up on this credit pull. He said that maybe he has me confused with someone else and began to mock my last name as he was trying to confirm who I actually was. I got frustrated and asked to speak to the manager and that when he said that he was the manager. I was slightly blown away with that considering his level of utter disrespect. Even if I was the person he thought I was why would he be so rude and disrespectful? He told me he didn't know what I wanted and transferred me to Mick who works in finance and I explained Marcus's attitude and he said that he'd look into it and tried to get me to come in and completely brushed me off. Why I would ever consider a purchase from them after such and incredibly hostile issue is beside me. I'm sure they don't care and that there will be a response to this saying that they're sorry that I wasn't happy with the service and that they pride them self on the great service they provide. I have an approval right now for 7% at a much more reputable dealership and in reality I'm lucky because they don't seem to know what they're even doing over there. I would recommend you look elsewhere before you let this outfit run your credit because the don't seem to even have the options as other lots Jerry - your employees mistook me for someone else and yelled at me and tried their best to degrade me. Maybe you shouldn't have so much confidence in them because they're unprofessional and disrespectful. I had made contact about a agreed price over the phone (which is a rare thing) which was great because they didn't try and do that "we can negotiate a price after you come in" and leave disappointed. I didn't feel like I was playing a mental chess game against the dealership. From start to finish, they took care of me like I was family, the dealership looked fancy, but had a casual air about it, as displayed by the owner who was playing with his dogson (dog grandson). Joe, Luke and Tony all took care of me, offering me my options, but being patient and letting me make my own decisions at my own pace.They measured my best options for financing and gave me the best rates I could find in the area. The car was everything I wanted, and it was helpful for them to be so patient, knowledgeable, and welcoming. I usually have little tolerance for auto sales. I took sales training previously and now feel pretty insulted by the games perpetrated on me by auto sales people. Not here. These goofballs are great. I purchased a 2016 Mazda6 Grand Touring. As a Costco member there is a fair price and no games. I've bought 2 new cars from these guys and all went as smooth as baby diarrhea both times. The car is exception btw, as opposed to the Mazda2 that I traded in because I couldn't bear to sell the Altoid can on wheels to another human. Glad I wandered in after getting hosed by a Kia shop. Thought I'd never want another Mazda after the Mazda2 but this car is amazing with great power & handling... and better mileage than the gutless Mazda2! I've bought 8 or 9 new cars before and these characters are pros in comparison to my previous experiences. UPDATE 7-6-18: It's 3 years later and the Mazda6 Grand Touring is still the best car I've owned. Still flawless. Oh, and the service department is great too. I bought a new car from this dealer. They specified a wrong low odometer reading on the documents. I signed it believing them. But, to my surprise the miles on the car were much higher than what was specified on the document. I made multiple attempts asking them to correct their mistake, but no one acknowledges or attempts to correct and instead blamed me for not checking the reading on the car when i test drove. We were in the market for a new car. I spent hours online researching the various models of coupes, available from almost every car dealership within 100 miles. My criteria, in no particular order, was as follows: nice body lines such that it was visually appealing, a reasonable price point varying between 25-35,000, options and accessories packages available for maximum possible customization, a minimum of 25 city with ideally 35 hwy mpg, and finally, good overall performance and handling. I narrowed it down to two, one of which was the Mazda Miata. I figured I would go in for a test drive. I was prepared to buy a car, with a reasonable percentage of cash to put down, relatively good credit, and almost no debt to speak of. I spoke with a nice man by the name of Scott who asked me what I was looking for, to which I answered the Miata MX-5 RF, and shortly thereafter we on the test drive. The ride was smooth, enjoyable and educational. Once back, we talked about trim packages, pricing, and options currently available on the lot. I shared my budget by way of amount I wanted to pay per month, and how much I was willing to put down. I filled out the credit application, which was relatively painless. While Scott was working on pricing, I spoke with Dave about the "extras" (my terminology). I chose everything I wanted, we totaled it up and passed it off to Scott for inclusion in the financing. Scott came back with my desired payment amount and a good, low (around 4%) interest rate, which was perfect! I went back to finish the finance paperwork, and to my surprise, Tony had managed to get it down to about 2.9%!! Which was LOWER than my school loans had been! I was shocked and thrilled. The entire transaction didn't take more than 4 hours, start to finish, with a good portion of it being my grazing of their accessories catalog repeatedly...for more toys!! I am beyond happy with the whole process, thanks to Scott, Dave and Tony. I will happily recommend this dealership to anyone I know who is in the market for a great car-buying experience! read more

Absolutely horrible customer service. On 1/12/20 I was told a vehicle was available to test drive. I drove through the snow to get to the dealership and when I arrived they could not find the key. I told them I would come back the next day. On 1/13/20 I reached out and again he could not find the key. I told him I would come the following day. He said he had that day off and I said I would wait until he was back so that he would be able to get the commission. On 1/15/20 I reached out to confirm the key was available for a test drive and he said they already sold the vehicle. I am extremely disappointed with the runaround. I was in contact with them on a daily basis and it was a complete waste of my time. They did not even give me the courtesy to place a hold on the vehicle or inform me it was already sold. Terrible Experience. I was "greeted" by one of their sales reps. When I informed that I wanted to test drive a CX5, first thing he said, "I am very busy with month-end peak sales time. I will give you car and you guys can go and drive it." (Didn't even bother to check if anyone else was available. Made us stand in the parking lot while he got the keys). Ok. Fair enough; Maybe he was actually busy. Once I came back from the test drive and requested him to let me know financial aspect of the car, he repeated the same statement about "busy time and month-end peak sales", even though he was NOT attending any other customer. He then starts talking to me about filling up a credit application which would require 1 day to process and saying selling the car to me on the same day was "out of question", without even checking with me if I need a loan. WTH?? Once I informed him, that I already have a pre-approved loan and you could see the change in expression (sort of irritation). Next, he comes back with an offer and says its the final offer. Inspite of showing a much better offer from a nearby dealer, refuses to budge for any sort of negotiations. I can understand if someone is not willing to negotiate due to their business model but atleast I would expect them to be respectful in the way they interact with customers. His final statement summarizes his attitude throughout the meeting "I do not need to sell this car to you. It is high demand car and will get many buyers for this. You can buy the car from your other dealer." Utter arrogance. Negotiations lasted at most 5 minutes. I could tell he was not interested in making a sale. Throughout the entire process, he was attempting to rush me through my decision making process. The only reason I went to this dealer was because of a recommendation from a friend. Unfortunately left with bad impression of the place. Never visiting this place again nor recommending it to anyone. read more

They may have good deals just don't expect any service after the sale, they don't answer their phones from the receptionist or sale person. Which is funny because there motto is our service sell the 2nd car. I wouldn't ever go back to them again. read more
