If you enjoy time wasting and Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde treatment, Klein Honda is the place for you. I expressed interest in a vehicle via Cars.com and was contacted by Elijah. I asked for the vehicle's Car Fax report, and he sent it right away. I followed up with an email making an offer, contingent on a test drive. Elijah did not respond. I reached back out over a week later, expressing interest in test driving the vehicle. Again, Elijah responded right away, saying he would have the vehicle out front and ready to test drive. When I arrived, the vehicle was not out front, and a young man named Ryan took over the process. Ryan was incredibly friendly during the test drive. Unfortunately, he had a hard time answering questions about the vehicle. When we returned to the dealership, we made an offer and made it very clear that we didn't have a lot of time, as we were renovating our house. Rather than respecting our time, Ryan returned about 10 minutes later, trying to sell us a theft protection plan, and showing us the full price numbers. At that point, my boyfriend made a higher offer ($900 less than their total asking price). Ryan asked, "Where did you get that number?" My boyfriend responded, "From my head." I reminded Ryan that we needed to wrap up the process, and I told him we were leaving in five minutes and that I did not like time wasting. He responded, "Woah," and put his hands up. They're pushy and will try to bully you into purchasing optional service, except it'll be 10x more than what it's supposed to cost. They'll try to scare you into thinking your car will break down if you don't pay them what they want. Klein Honda has begun adding a 3% surcharge when a customer uses a credit card. I have been a customer for years , have always paid with a credit card and never had a surcharge. I was not told about the surcharge even though I asked about the charges for my service 3 different times: twice on two different phone calls and with the representative at the dealership. No mention of a surcharge. I found out about the surcharge when presented the bill. I was told there were signs - which I did not see - that indicated a surcharge. Klein Honda should tell customers about the surcharge when they are quoting prices for a service. On Aug. 11, 2025, I bought a 2025 Honda Sport Utility Vehicle in cash from Klein Honda, 10611 Evergreen Way, Everett. I told my salesperson several times that I wanted to use the same license plate number as my old car since I really like the number. I also told the finance person the same thing. I was told that Klein Honda would take care of it with the Dept. of Licensing and would mail the license to me. On Sept. 22nd I was mailed a different license by Klein Honda and told to talk to the Dept. of Licensing. The person at the Dept. of Licensing told me my old license was already mine and that Klein knows that. I was told that Klein Honda charged me $224.75 for a new license that I did not need, and they knew they were cheating me out of the money. I have the paperwork to show that. I paid $25.00 for the registration only. I received my car warranty in the mail. Klein Honda sent the warranty company the wrong address for me. When I called Klein Honda, they said they would change it on their end but not contact the warranty company about the correction. I have left 3 messages about these problems and have never received a call back from Klein Honda. I am so sorry I have had anything to do with them. My husband has been driving his car for 11+ years and at 313,000 miles, it was time to let here go and get into something new. We have always been a Ford family but with the lack of actual vehicles in their fleet, we had to move to another brand. Enter Klien Honda. We did a good amount of research and a major selling point in choosing Kieln, was that they have an additional lifetime powertrain warrenty included with every purchase. I have not seen that before. At any rate, we went in on a Sunday and it was busy but Sean helped us promptly while letting us know he was also working with others at the same time. Great because we could look and not feel any pressure. Sean let us know that they are actually a volume dealer and they do not work on commission so the is a huge BONUS! We got into a brand new Honda at a great rate, with great service. Q in finance was also great in getting all the paperwork done quickly and on the road. I have taken my Honda FIT to Klein for its regular service for years now. I took it for it's regular B service the end of August and the diagnostic report was all good, including the brakes, which were shown to be a a level 4. By the middle of October my brakes started squealing and grinding. I took it to Klein and had them check for any debris in the brakes. They called me and told me my brakes needed replacing because they were at a 1 now, after one and a half months?! I questioned how that could be, unless they actually never checked my brakes in August? The service person actually agreed with me that it may not have been checked. I had my brakes replaced, but now I have lost trust in their service department. I will never return to Klein Honda for any service and I'll be telling all my friends about the bad experience I had with them. I've also filled a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, and the FTC for charging for a service in August that was not complete, plus lying about completing it on the diagnostic report. He promised me a 10% student discount since I thought the vehicle I purchased from Klein Honda included lifetime oil changes which John told me they stopped doing during 2020 ( Which wasn't brought up to me during the time of purchasing the vehicle btw ). This place used to be so good. I had a VTC issue and it expanded to timing chain (after 75K) and new plugs. I spent $3600 in total and after three tries (the service tech insisted there was no issues), had the service manager take control and fix the issue. I'm left with a fine working car, that I believe had a new timing chain, and plugs piled on that did not need work. In the end, you have to trust your tech, so I'm taking my car to a different Honda dealer from now on after 17 years of servicing. There are some fine people there, but there are some horrible people there too and they won't weed them out because I'm sure they drive the billable hours with unnecessary work. Horrible. read more

Like they are doing you a favor by even talking to you. There is no kindness with them. My battery died , my radio had to be reset with a code. It happened a couple years ago and I could call in and have the code given to me over the phone. Now you have to bring it in so while I was having service on my car, I asked to have my code reset. Well they forgot to reset the radio. By the time I got home I realize it hadn't been done. I called they would not give me the code over the phone, even though I had just been there that day, my name and phone number and the service request was in their computer. I have been for the last six years coming in regularly every three months. today I stopped and walked in and asked for the code with my ID. I was told I needed to drive my car into the building when I turn around and ask why, the guy snapped at me and said he had to get a code off of my radio, which made no sense to me since they've given it to me over the phone before and he tried to tell me that I snapped at him not true at all, I understand kindness matters I also understand that the way you talk to someone could make or ruin their day. Dropped my vehicle, advisor was friendly, checked me in and explained what checks they are going to perform that day. there was a recall and he mentioned that it can be done on the same day itself. They has asked to wait for 2 hrs, but finished the works in about 1.5hrs. When they handed over the car, it was washed, vacuumed and in a cleanest possible way. After getting a detailed quote over the phone from Kaitlyn (I think that was her name), who confirmed I was looking for the EX-L trim of the HRV, I felt confident about the deal she gave me. She repeated the trim info to me, and I was then connected to Elijah, the manager. He confirmed the offer, removed hidden fees, and stressed that the deal was only good for that day, as it was the last day of the month. My mom even took time off work to come with me to the dealership to finalize everything. When we arrived, they hit us with the exact same out-the-door (OTD) price I had asked them to beat from another dealership. Elijah then claimed he never approved the quoted number. He also contradicted himself by saying he was present during our phone call and never heard her give out numbers. This was baffling since I had specific details on the selling price, tax, documentation, and licensing fees. I asked to speak with Kaitlyn for clarification, but Elijah kept refusing, giving excuses like she was on a lunch break. After 5 minutes, Kaitlyn finally joined us, only to claim she had given me a $200 discount off the MSRP, which made no sense because the competing offer was already WAY below that. Elijah then insisted that Kaitlyn had provided two different prices for the Sport and EX-L trims, trying to gaslight me into thinking I was mistaken, even though I had written everything down. He also blamed it on my "messy" notes and that I calculated the numbers wrong. When I asked to hear the recording of our phone call, they refused to provide it, and Kaitlyn even went ahead and rudely smirked at us. So far, so good. First purchase at this dealer. Bought a '21 Passport Elite earlier this month (May 2021) and we got in and out pretty quick. Friendly staff and clean facility. Watch out for the "Karr" alarm charges they'll sneak in on a new vehicle purchase. I'm not saying it's not worth it, but it's not worth what they'll first try and charge you. NEGOTIATE and get your questions answered. I'm still not sure what it does and I'm trying to get answers, but as long as it eventually works as described then I am fine with the price that I negotiated them down to for it. We had LED "side welcome lights" installed by them (bought with the vehicle) this week and I think they did a good job and it didn't take long. There is a Mexican place down the street and an IHOP if you need a place to wait that has food, if you're going to be waiting more than an hour or so. Otherwise their waiting room is very comfortable and they have Wi-Fi of course, and two huge TVs. There's a "kid zone" if you need to wait with your little ones and keep them entertained. Overall, it seems like a good place to buy a car. Will update as time goes by. read more

Not a great experience. We received a flyer in the mail with various service specials, so decided to give them a shot for our scheduled service. Made an appointment a few weeks out and arrived at the appointed time. They noted that the flyer was for our other car, not the one we had brought in. There was no way to know that except to see the VIN number was listed in small print on the flyer. So we ended up paying almost full price for the oil change (about $50 more than the special price on the flyer). Also, we waited for more than 2 hours for the oil change to be completed, despite having an appointment. Had my car taken in because my battery kept dying within days of being charged. Turns out there was a parasitic draw from the car's computer. The person I talked to in the service department was very nice, and I didn't have issues with them. But in requesting information to give to my repair provider since car is still under a repair service contract, it has been an over month without an update. All they keep saying is that someone will be in contact with me as soon as possible. No one has been in contact with me except when I have asked for an update. This place used to be the best dealership in the state. Now when you call in, they will only tell you if the car is there or not if your lucky. They usually will tell you its available, but be warned. That only means they have one on the way. All cars come with an add-on called Northwest Prep. It cost like $20 bucks. Its a wax job then some stickers put on your car. They charge between 900 and 1300 for it. If your calling to get a out the door, don't bother. The price will be MSRP+10k in addons, fees, taxes and lic. The managers will tell you we won't beg for a deal, and they won't because the car will sell to some poor sap who believes they are getting a good deal. When you are getting a good deal, its when they have not sold a single car that day, the car has been on the lot and they just want to get ride of it or both. The main problem at this place is lack of direction. You ask what the goal is and they say to sell cars. When Steve ran the day to days, he would tell you the goal of the dealership is to help the communities in the area and help make it a better place. If Rory took over the day to days and sat with each department for a week instead of coming in for 2 hours a day, this place would turn around. Right now, their is a sales manager who screams at employees when trying to do their job, you have a marketing department that is rated on how many cars are sold, when in fact they don't sell. The esales team should have a daily appointment goal, not a call goal. It should have each employee track How many leads they get, how many phone calls are made, how many people where contacted, how many appointments made while tracking what has sold. This would allow the team and manager to see what is really going on with the numbers. Basic six sigma root cause. You see who is out performing the others, have a bi-weekly meeting and have that person share what they are doing different, go over what objections they are hearing the most of. The sales team is awesome and they put up with moving targets, favoritism and bunch of other BS while being amazing. The service center has some great techs, but don't know the first thing about customer service. You let the phone ring non-stop, when you screw up on a car you just ignore the problem hoping it either goes away or GM has to take it. While it may seem like a strange concept, most service centers that have great reviews have the following things in common. While not always 100% doable, pick the phone. The customer who is in front of you will still be there. Study after study shows that people who are in person don't mind waiting. When you mess up, yes it sucks, but you can't avoid it. USE TAMPER SEAL ON YOUR DRAIN PLUGS AND OTHER NUTS AND BOLTS. Tamper seal let's the shop know if someone else has looked at the car besides the dealership. If they have, no claim. Easy. I noticed a lot of people working at the service desk ask a lot of questions about the issue for what it was brought in, but I only ever heard a few ask about other things, such as, does the car pull? If yes, when breaking? I never saw a writer Walk around the put hands on tires with the customer. This time can also be used to go over wiper blades, lights, air filter, both cabin and under the hood. I worked in a 10 bay full service garage as a Customer Service Manager. Each employee was required at least 30k a month in services and sales, we each did closer to 50k (2005) a person. If a customer was upset, we would listen. If they where angry, we pulled them away from customers. We never lied to a single customer. We would simply break the problem down and explain how that part could fail and what other parts would fail if they didn't fix it. We did a $15 dollar brake inspection, but if you got another service, we would make it free. Helps both the customer out and the dealership. Bottom line is the employees are awesome, most the sales team work really hard and do fight for their customers, but a few of the managers are really bad and act only in self interest because instead of being proactive, they are reactive. My car was serviced here with a 10:30am appointment to change one tire, get a new key fob, and receive all season mats that were promised at the time of my car sale. My boyfriend brought my car in for me and met Peter Montroy, who quoted a 2 hour wait. My bf walked around Everett and came back 3 hours later and was again quoted another 2 hours. He ended up waiting around Everett for 5 hours total. My boyfriend mentioned that the workers were also complaining about having to work on my car because of the sales department, which is very unprofessional. In addition to the 5 hour wait, when I looked at my car, the tire they gave me was used (evidenced by scratches in the metal and browned rubber). It looked older than my other 3 tires. Furthermore, they printed a receipt that said they washed my car but I still have the same dead bug on my windshield. The receipt also said they did a multi-point inspection. I doubt that they actually did that though because when my bf got home, the tire pressure indicator turned on and my other 3 tires were between 27-29 PSI. Only the "new" (used) tire was at 35 PSI. When I bought my car, Keo was approachable and printed a We Owe slip for my parts. I waited 7 days for a call from him before I called him first. He sent an email to Mike who called me and finally set up an appt to get my car serviced. I am not actually sure where the communication breakdown occurred but it makes me feel like this dealership is unreliable given the poor communication/follow up between departments in addition to the complaints my boyfriend overheard from the workers today. TLDR; unreliable vehicle inspections, poor/unprofessional customer service, unreasonably long waits (5 hours), used parts given, but I did get my all season mats and my new key fob! If it's possible I would give a 0 star. I have changed oil there for couple years because I think they can provide a quality service. However, I found it's a big mistake when I did the tire rotation in Discount Tire today. The staff of Discount Tire asked me if I have done any maintenance recently because one of the front wheel lug nuts can't be taken off. I just did the maintenance in Klein Honda Everett yesterday and they did the tire and brakes' pads inspection. Then I drove to Klein Honda immediately and told a staff whose name is Richelle what happened. She said they never take off the wheels to measure the brake pads and charge me $150 for taking off the lug nut. I wondered how they can measure the accuracy thickness of the brake pads without taking off the wheels. When I checked online and ask a mechanic I think she lied to me. The worst most unprofessional, racist, and sexist dealership in Washington state. My family is (or was) a Honda family for over three decades. My father purchased the 1989 Prelude and to the very first Odyssey model with Klein Honda $24k cash. As a family we maintained our loyalty to Honda, but as of now this dealership is definitely at the low end someone needs to petition for the dealership to be shutdown or find better management. I decided in mid-October to finance a purchase of a new vehicle, as my 2016 Honda Fit was totaled by my sister in August. I called ahead of time to see if they had any 2021 Honda Passports and to possibly speak with the finance team about financing my vehicle or just paying the car in full in two days...complete mistake I got an overbearing sexist salesman. I knew I had the funds to purchase the car off the lot, but I wanted to see if he'd continue with this sad behavior (he's a person of color too...Asian American to be exact, and I'm still baffled at how they treat other POC)... anyways we continue I just choose the HRV to see knowing that I've already texted a friends in Oregon with a better dealership and deal (haha). We get inside, doesn't offer any refreshments tells me to sign all this paperwork ect...gives me a high interest rate (though my rate at my friends is low ASF). So I start negotiating we get things down to 9% after it being at 24% (do you see the scam...from 24 to 9...tsk tsk..my credits not amazing but it's not terrible, if my friend got me at 3.5 that's not bad). I knew that I needed paystubs ect...but again my sad desperate salesman said I didn't. Turns out only Black women that live in Bellevue do need paystubs, at Klein Honda...the White Women from Casino Road in Everett that are signing paperwork in the lobby as I am don't need paystubs because their by definition good for the money right?... Anyways, the financial director was like sorry I can't give you the vehicle we need paystubs proving income (totally understandable and I had them in my google drive to show my commissions from home sales) but then I asked what about her pointing to my blonde counterpart and she just sat there mortified that I called out the bullshit. Anyways canceled the transaction was there till 7pm because my desperate racist salesman was helping Blondie without a paystub who drove off in the new ride of her CHOICE. Would give them a zero star if possible. 1) when you negotiate on a used car they would try to sell mandatory add on "warranty packages". So you have to waste effort try ing to negotiate down from a very high starting price. Call it BS. 2) when no deal could be reached, bad attitude from salesperson mouthed "thanks for wasting my time." Stay away from here and go somewhere that really wants your business. read more
