Not a great experience here. It was ok relative to some car sale experiences I've had. They sold me an extended warranty and a few weeks later I decided to look into cancelling it. They told me that I could cancel it, but they would roll the price of it into the car, even though the contract was already signed and the loan was funded. I pushed back and they said it could not be cancelled. I contacted the warranty company and they gave me a refund with no trouble at all. I complained to the manager at Doug's and he insisted that nobody had told me it couldn't be cancelled. I then forwarded him the email in which I was told it couldn't be cancelled. Took more than a week of calling & attempting to schedule an insurance inspection for my 1995 Mazda Rx-7 to get a quote for repairs. I called DAILY & was told I'd get called back & it never happened. Finally I get someone who answers & says "you were talking to Ryan" & hollers for him across the room, instead of transferring the call. I can hear Ryan's uninterested & unprofessional voice in the background saying something along the lines of "oh yeah, we don't really do that kind of stuff..." Terrible Experience with Finance - Beware of David Awabdeh Our car-buying experience started off great thanks to our sales rep, Alberto. He was professional, friendly, and genuinely helpful throughout the process. We had questions about wire transfers, and he assured us that finance would walk us through everything. Unfortunately, once we were passed to David Awabdeh in finance, everything went downhill fast. David was rude, condescending, and completely unprofessional from the start. As soon as I said I wasn't interested in the extended warranty, his attitude changed. He became aggressive and pushy, trying to guilt us into buying something we didn't want. Then he crossed the line by saying, "I see, you guys are average people." That kind of comment is offensive, classist, and completely inappropriate in a business setting. He also disrespected my decision to have my own trusted mechanic. He kept interrogating me about my mechanic's qualifications like I had to prove something to him. It felt more like an interrogation than a finance meeting. When it came time for the wire transfer, he didn't explain anything. He just threw a piece of paper at us with bank information and told us to "figure it out." No help, no explanation, no courtesy. He clearly didn't want to be bothered with actually doing his job. I left that dealership feeling insulted and deeply disappointed. I chose to stay quiet in the moment, but I want others to be aware. If you go to this dealership, ask for Alberto--he's great and truly cares. But whatever you do, avoid David Awabdeh in finance. A Disappointing Experience with Deceptive Practices My experience at Lynnwood Mazda started positively. The lobby was welcoming with an excellent coffee machine, and the staff seemed friendly and accommodating. However, everything deteriorated during the financing process. I worked with a trainee in the finance office, which I didn't mind--everyone has to learn. The problem arose when I declined the extended warranty. Despite my repeated refusals, the trainee kept pushing. Eventually, his trainer joined us and attempted to guilt me into purchasing it. When I stood firm, he made a shocking claim: my bank approval was conditional on buying the warranty, and since it was the weekend, the bank was likely closed--meaning this was my only option to get approved. This is completely false. Banks do not condition loan approvals on warranty purchases. This is a known scam tactic used by some dealerships, and I was disturbed they would try it on me. I texted my salesperson about the incident, and he promised to speak with the general manager. The next day, my mother came in to co-sign, and I again declined the warranty. Instead of addressing my concerns professionally, the finance manager confronted me about my complaint, making me extremely uncomfortable. I never heard from any GM or received an apology. The problems didn't end there. We left with a vehicle missing promised features (like an auto-dimming rearview mirror) and received a poor trade-in value. Worse yet, when I received my loan paperwork, the $3,500 warranty I had explicitly refused was included in the total, significantly inflating my monthly payment. While the warranty was eventually removed, it wasn't credited to my account until July--four months after I got the loan in March. I suspect they delayed the removal to collect their commission first, leaving me stuck with an unaffordable payment. The car itself has been problematic, and I'm now severely upside-down on the loan--a financial nightmare. I strongly advise against doing business with Lynnwood Mazda if you want honest, transparent service. read more

This car has had 3-5 ( I am loosing count) recalls. 2 months ago I had an emergency alert pop up and had to stop driving the car immediately. The repair took 10 days becasue they needed a part. NOW when I take my foot off the breaks the car jerks back. And the heat has stopped. it will be a week before they can even get it into the shop. Becasue it is a lease Dougs told me- too bad. I can pay off the lease but there is NOTHING they can do. Then proceed to tell me how great the 2025 verion is. So in other words I bought a lemon. Not a cheap lemon!!!! Wont buy a Mazda again.
