Dim sum Lunch for 4. Tip is included.
Khanh P.

My family's favorite dim sum place now. They have the best siu mai, chicken feet, and fried shrimp balls. Their siu mai is so soft, juicy, flavorful, and delish! The fried shrimp balls have very fine flaky crunch outside and yummy inside. Other pieces would have very sparse and thick crunch flakes outside of the shrimp balls. Also, their pork/thousand year old porridge is not to miss. This place is one of the few dim sum places that provides extra onions and pickled radish for the porridge that made the porridge taste 100x better. Also, be sure to request their house made special XO sauce that makes everything much more delicious tasting. Also good is black sesame mochi balls, durian dessert balls, egg custard balls, jelly fish, chicken feet, spare ribs and sticky rice. Since tip is included, expect super and efficient service. And with new remodel, place is clean and new looking. Sometimes I crave for their siu mai and sesame mochi balls at night.

Food in general very good, they were renovating so indoor seating limited, we were assigned outdoor seating which looked cheap. Rod cod 2-ways (soup, then stir fried fillet) was great, Steamed giant clam excellent. Crab meat & dried scallop stir fry just ok as the egg was burnt & a little. Price reasonable compared to Koi Palace

Came by for a late dinner and made it 45 minutes prior to them closing. They greeted and seated my party of 4 as soon as I walked in. They were not busy and we were advised to order soon, as their kitchen would close shortly. Items ordered: Soy sauce chow mein- Large portion and taste was fine and as expected. Beef stew noodle soup- Large portion and plenty of beef and noodles with some choy. Taste was okay. Salt and pepper pork chops- I opted for no jalapeños. The fried garlic was good but this was VERY fatty. Majority of the pork chops were gristle and inedible. Choy in broth- Large order and taste was fine. Fish congee- Portion size was okay and decent amount of fish. Staff were very friendly, brought us the bill but explained that we had plenty of time to finish our meal (as they were trying to balance the register prior to closing), and even brought us desserts. Ambiance- 2/5 stars This location is in need of an update. They do have a private room and seating is not too crowded, which is a plus. Food- 2/5 stars Portion sizes were big but they could definitely do better about the quality of food served. Service- 4/5 stars Everyone was friendly and helpful

Mayflower Seafood in Milpitas. Before I even picked up my chopsticks, I had to snap a photo -- everything coming out of the kitchen looked too good not to capture. I stopped in for a casual meal and the clay pots with frog legs and beef dishes arrived hot, fresh, and beautifully presented, with that classic Cantonese comfort that hits the spot every time. Service was quick and efficient, and even with the hustle of the dining room, the team kept everything moving smoothly. We also got BBQ pork and walnut shrimp.

Overall, the atmosphere was pleasant, and the customer service was decent. We ordered more than 10 dim sum items and dishes, and most of them were quite good. The dim sum was fresh, flavorful, and delicious. However, the biggest disappointment was the stir-fried beef chow fun. It lacked the characteristic dry texture and smoky wok hei that make this classic Cantonese dish so appealing. Instead, it appeared overly oily and fell short of our expectations. Overall, it was a satisfying dining experience, but the beef chow fun could definitely use some improvement.

In the past 3 months, I've been here 3 times for dim sum on the weekends. Our group size varied from 4 people to 9. I'm can honestly say I'm shocked at the negative reviews. Our food is always picture perfect and the staff is quick and attentive. We had the pleasure of being greeted by Frank, our host, every visit. Frank is so friendly and kind! He waves at his guests as they leave and he even smiles - if you frequent Chinese restaurants, you know what a rarity this is. My aunt and uncle came for a visit from Hong Kong, and even they were impressed with the service and the food. I love the black bean chicken feet, roast pork and duck, spare ribs and wu gok. Honestly, everything I've eaten here has been great. For dim sum. the weekends tend to get busy just before noon. We usually arrive around 11 and have always been seated right away.

This place is a Chinese rip-off. See attached receipt. They not only charge you a 20% service charge disguised at 18%, but they also tax on top of the service charge rather than the subtotal!

My grandson wanted soup dumplings and this restaurant is close to the house, so we decided to go here. I've never been, and it was on a Saturday afternoon. Lessons learned from this visit. Maybe we should walk next time. Parking is hard to find, its very busy, or don't go on the weekend. Luckily the wait for a table was only a few minutes. We ordered our usuals off of a menu, they don't come around on carts. Siu mai, bbq pork bun, fried shrimp balls, shrimp balls, shoyu fried noodles , soup dumplings, green beans and few new ones like stuffed tofu, beef chow fun, and couple.more. all of it was good, and slightly bigger than other dimsum places, I'll have to remember that. Soup dumplings were ok though, they came out later, so my grandson had filled himself on other dimsum and he didn't eat his usual portion, therefore leftovers. Everything was good fresh and hot.

Seno C.

During the weekend, it is hard to find parking. Inside is spacious, clean and well lit. Big screen tv's are everywhere so you don't miss any sport events. Ppl are friendly and pretty efficient. Foods are great. Average portions.

Has the Har gow (shrimp dumpling), Bbq pork rice noodles, Black Truffle shrimp dumplings, Xiao Long Bao (Steamed Shanghai Dumplings), and House special Pan Fried (Hongkong style) combination noodles. Noticed that they have really good wrapper to filling ratio with their dumplings. Thinner wrapper with generous protein filling for both their meat and seafood dumplings. Har gow was filled with big chunk of shrimp. Had bamboo shoots flavor too but not overwhelming. Truffle shrimp dumplings were good with just the perfect amount of truffle. I like that they topped the dumplings with the truffle instead of mixing it with the filling because I could taste the shrimp and the truffle separately. This was the highlight of the meal. The BBQ pork rice noodles were also good with lots of roasted pork and maybe chives which really complemented the sweet pork. The noodles were a bit overcooked that they were falling apart as I pick them up with chopsticks. The XLB were small but didn't skimp on the filling. Wrapper was very thin so the dumplings were mostly meat. I could taste the ginger flavor. Not a lot of soup inside. But still good. The Hongkong style noodle dish was also good. Generous serving. Had chicken, bbq pork, shrimp, scallops, squid, bok choy all on top of crispy egg noodles with soy based gravy. Yummy. The egg custard cake (Thousand Layer Cake) was unique. It was steamed cake with paste of salted egg mixed it. It also had some candied pieces of coconut. Very moist. It was good but too sweet for my taste. They have less variety of dimsum and more pricey than other places I've been but they definitely pay attention to the taste and quality. Each dimsum item had its unique flavor that's noticeable. They don't have the dimsum carts. You order by marking the paper menu and they bring the dimsum to your table. Big open dining room. Welcoming hosts. Attentive staff and manager.

We came here for Christmas Morning before 11am rush! We got soy mai, har gow, shrimp and beef rice noodle, crispy shrimp balls, custard buns, bbq pork buns, chicken feet, and fried dumpling. All the food here is good everytime, they fill the dumplings up with meat and the rice noodles are always soft and perfect! Love coming here each time!

Taylor P.

They don't have dim sum on carts, but once you submit your order, the food comes out pretty quickly and is hot and fresh! We ordered a variety of dim sum dishes and it was exactly what we were craving - traditional, classic dim sum. We chose our tea and was given a big pot, which only needed to be refilled once towards the end (we drink a lot of tea; and it was only the 2 of us). Food was good and pieces were decently sized (shu mai and har gow were on the larger size, which we loved!). Service is what you'd expect it to be -- minimal interaction but efficient. The restaurant itself is bigger than I expected, clean and ample seating for any size party. We got there around 1pm and it was still pretty busy. Something to note: an automatic service charge is added to your bill, so no need to tip extra. My partner overlooked this and added a tip on top of the final bill. The nice lady ran over to me as we were exiting and told us to revise it and remove the extra tip. I thought that was thoughtful and kind of her. Overall, a new dim sum go-to for us.

Irene C.

Probably not going to come back here. Came here for Christmas Eve dinner with my family. Waited 20 minutes for someone to come by to take our order. We had to wave someone down ( No tea or water yet) Waited for 30 minutes for soup. Waited another 1 hour for the FIRST dish. It took more than 2 hours to receive all our dishes. We waited close to two hours for our food. It wasn't good enough to justify such a long wait or to make us want to return. The service was terrible from start to finish. To make matters worse, an automatic 18% service charge was added for 3 people, which did not reflect the level of service we received at all. The service charge was also not WRITTEN anywhere on the menu which is illegal.

Solid Cantonese comfort food tonight. Not greasy at all, which is where a lot of places lose me. The BBQ combo platter (crispy roast pork +roast duck) is the other must-order. The siu yuk skin had that proper shattering crunch with juicy meat underneath, and the roast duck was silky with lightly crispy skin. Both dipping sauces on point. The clay pot chicken came out bubbling on its warmer, with red onion and scallion in a savory, slightly sweet glaze with salted meat -- great over rice. And the string beans with pork cheek had real wok hei, blistered beans with caramelized edges, not steamed-and-sauced like the lazy version. Portions are generous, everything came out hot, and this is exactly the kind of cooking that tastes like a family kitchen doing it right. Would come back for the fish fillet and the roast pork alone. They served sweet bean soup after dinner. Service was quick and ambiance is bright and causal.

They made an effort to ensure our table had everything we needed to comfortably share the meals and topped off our cups with their fruit infused water every chance they got. The crowd was an interesting mix, with plenty of diners in their late 50s and 60s alongside a younger crowd. What We Ordered: * BBQ Pork Bun: This was probably the one item I'd skip. It was perfectly fine, but nothing particularly memorable and no better than what you'd find at an average dim sum restaurant. * Marinated Beef Rice Noodle: A solid dish. The rice noodles were wonderfully smooth and slippery, with a generous amount of beef. The lettuce was a nice touch, adding a bit of freshness and crunch to balance out the soft textures. * Pork Liver Rice Noodle: My absolute favorite of the meal! Pork liver is notoriously difficult to cook well because it can so easily become tough or overcooked. This was done beautifully -- tender, perfectly cooked, and without that unpleasant rubbery texture. I'd come back just for this dish. *Fried Dough Rice Roll: This was as expected. Dough was crispy and rice roll was smooth. If you are a fan of this dish it won't disappoint. * Iced Soy Milk: Not overly sweet, with a nice, pronounced soy bean flavor. If you enjoy traditional soy milk rather than the overly sweetened versions, this is worth ordering. * Pork and Preserved Egg Congee: Comforting and well executed. The congee was silky smooth, with the consistency you'd expect from something that's been slowly cooked for a long time. The pork pieces were generously sized, and the preserved egg chunks were substantial enough to get a good taste in every few bites. Overall: There are definitely a few dishes worth coming back for, especially the pork liver rice noodles. The crowd and steady line suggest this place has built a loyal following, and after trying the congee and rice noodles, I can understand why. I'd skip the BBQ pork bun and focus on the rice noodle dishes and congee. The chairs were also on the small side so can be uncomfortable if you are taller or on the large side.

Usually I prefer when pig ears are sliced very thin, but I actually really enjoyed this thickness. Next, our Vegetable Chow Mein with Wide Flat Noodles and the String Beans with Eggplant arrive. Both dishes were piping hot and the noodles were impressively long. Easily the longest and widest handmade noodles I've ever had. The sauce on the chow mein was very light and honestly needed a more flavorful sauce but I couldn't complain because of how intrigued I was with just the noodles. The eggplant and string beans were super flavorful and still had a bite to them. We also ordered the Dry Spicy Beef Noodle. This was honestly very disappointing. It was quite bland and pretty much just oil. The green onion pancakes also came out with this noodle dish. Not exciting but also not bad. They were also a bit too greasy for me. We asked for hot tea to have with our meal to continue to be able to eat it. I did really appreciate that they had very spacious booths. And there was plenty of room between each of the tables so you aren't hitting elbows with other tables. The wall decor was gorgeous by our booth.
