Cute cafe with lots of seating options. Saw a couple of people working there on their laptops with a matcha drink in hand. The staff were helpful in their recommendations and I got the matcha latte with spirulina. Tasty and pretty! I liked that they had booster options you could customize.

MATCHA MAGIC @ REDMOND Parking is available on the street. This place is located on the first floor of an apartment complex, so it can be a little tricky to find at first. Just make sure you look for Matcha Magic on your left when coming in from the main road in Redmond. There are a few 15-minute parking spots available, and if you're just running in and out, you can use the loading zone with your emergency lights on. I came on a Thursday afternoon and had no problem finding a 15-minute spot. I was really excited to come to this Matcha Magic location. I've been to the Bellevue one before, but the Redmond location is much closer to me, so I was excited to check it out. I decided to order their Banana Split Açaí Bowl. I had tried it previously in Bellevue and didn't love it as much, but my mom is a big fan of coconut-based bowls, and that was my favorite part last time. I decided to give it another shot, and this time it was spectacular. The staff were extremely friendly, and the açaí bowl was incredible. It was beautifully made, and both the base and toppings were really well balanced. The strawberries tasted super fresh, and the banana was perfectly sweet. The space itself is really cute, definitely on the smaller side but there is seating both indoors and outdoors. Since it was cold and rainy when I visited, it wasn't very busy, but I can definitely see this place being packed during spring and summer. I also think this is a great spot to get some work done or bring your laptop. Overall, I would highly recommend stopping by Matcha Magic. I especially recommend their strawberry matcha, it's delicious. The staff are super friendly, and I love that they even have a menu posted outside.

Matcha Magic has expanded from their original Bellevue location over to Redmond, and I'm happy to see this local business doing so well! I've visited this new location twice so far, and the service has been fantastic both times. The employees are very sweet and happy to answer any questions one may have about the menu. Each drink is crafted with care as the staff uses a traditional bamboo chasen to whisk the matcha by hand to prevent any clumps. Between the Bellevue and Redmond locations, I've ordered a different drink each time, and they have all been delicious. Most recently, I went with a classic STRAWBERRY MATCHA which tasted natural and was very well balanced. The strawberry purée actually had little seeds in it! With this drink, the only way to adjust the sweetness is to reduce the amount of purée, but I decided not to manipulate the proportions, and it turned out perfect. I've ordered strawberry matcha at other tea shops before and they ended up tasting like a strawberry milkshake, but that's not the case here! This one was quite refreshing and crisp. I could actually taste the matcha, while the strawberry enhanced it beautifully and the oatmilk pulled it all together without dominating the flavor. On a separate occasion, I tried their HORCHATA MATCHA. While this one is on the sweeter end, I still really enjoyed it! The sweet cinnamony horchata melds so nicely with the matcha; I never would have thought to combine the two. It's no wonder why this is one of their most popular drinks. Although I haven't tried one of their seasonal drinks yet, they sound amazing. They've had eggnog matcha, pumpkin matcha, and even a hojicha latte. I look forward to seeing what specials will be available in the future. As for accessibility, it's street parking only, so that can be tough depending on the time of day. The location itself is smaller than their Bellevue location with a more narrow seating area. However, one of their walls can roll up, making for a nice open-air environment during the dry months. Cheers to more matcha (and more magic) in 2026!

Okay so 5 stars For the açaí bowl! It was so good and I loved the split bottom of coconut and açaí. The coconut was like light and fluffy and such good flavor. Fruit was fresh and it was absolutely delicious. I got the matcha marshmallow drink, I asked if it was over powering or artificial tasting and they said no but it's really sweet and I was like okay I'll get it. It was not sweet at all. It was sooooo light mallow flavor. I'd like to try it again with more flavor but the toasted flavor was there and it was good but it was almost like drinking "black" matcha without sweetener and a hint of toasted mallow in the background. However I will be back to try another matcha and the toast! Also super cute inside and they were really nice.

I'm happy to report that Redmond has a another fun & unique addition to its food scene. What do you think about my logic? Is that what I thought was going to be another Boba tea place they are not. They're doing different things. they're taking Matcha green tea and creating fun fusion drinks that anybody and everybody would love!! What I'm most excited about is that they're vegan friendly!! And as a smoothie lover, including smoothie bowls, I was happily surprised to see what they offer smoothie bowls! We could use some competition and it's fun to see new offerings like the passionfruit bowl. Everyone enjoyed their drinks and highly recommended . We'll be back!

Still love Matcha Magic. The Matcha Julep never lets me down and is sooo dang yummy! I like the Redmond location the most as it's easiest for me to find parking and it's super beautiful. The staff are always friendly and answer my questions. I finally tried the açaí bowl. I chose the uncrutsa-bowl. The açaí bowl was a miss sadly. The peanut butter, honey, bananas, strawberries, and hemp granola was good but idk if it was the açaí or pitaya but something had an off sour taste I couldn't finish the bowl even though I tried and it was expensive. I had taken to go so I couldn't mention to staff about the sourness but definitely would not order an açaí bowl from here again as it just was not it and super pricey for a somewhat smaller portion being honest. I will be returning for the julep matcha :)

I've been meaning to try out Matcha Magic for a while! I liked the decor of the place; really cute vibes. They have some interesting matcha varieties on the menu. I got the the Matcha Julep but I really want to try the Matcha Horchata or the Hojichata next time. I felt like the prices of the matcha was pretty typical, but the smoothies seemed a little pricey. A weird thing is that I ordered my drink online around 15 minutes in advance, but they didn't start making the drink until I got there and confirmed that I was there for pickup. So I had to wait a little bit extra. I think it would have been understandable if it were busy, but the shop was empty.. but anyways I enjoyed my drink :)

Very well thought out decor in a new building with tall ceilings and even a glass garage door for the summers. There are soooo many outlets at the tables so it's well equipped for some laptop work. The coconut smoothie drink I got wasn't to my taste. It was definitely more on the western side of coconut drinks. Staff is friendly!

The location is a little hard to find a parking if you visit at a prime time. The interior design is modern and bright with lots of window. The service was fast and servers were friendly. I would say the price is moderate/high end since their smoothie was from 11-14 bucks. Ordered banana matcha and it was pretty decent, just wish the cup size was a little bigger for 11 dollars smoothie matcha was strong enough I could taste it with banana. I would visit again to try another matcha!

I love this cute place. Lots of great photo ops and great service. They make the matcha the traditional way with a wisk and measuring cups. I tried the Strawberry Matcha Latte and the Everything avocado toast. Both were delicious and prepared just right. Great service and food and drink. Location is very scenic with a park across the street and two large rollup windows. I'll return here one day to try other things.

First time here on a weekday evening 30 min before it closed. Parking was very easy. Bright and airy interior. I didn't know if I'd like the strawberry matcha (I've only had matcha by itself). Man oh man it was so good! Light, refreshing, just slightly sweet. I drank the whole thing before I got home. The matcha tasted good quality and rich. I would definitely come back to try their other flavors. They also make smoothies.

8.23.2025 Loved my visit to Matcha Magic in Redmond. I tried their signature matcha latte and it was delicious. Smooth, earthy, and just the right amount of sweetness. You can tell they use high-quality matcha. it had that vibrant green color and no bitterness at all. The space itself is super calming, and the staff were really welcoming. It's the kind of place that makes you want to slow down and enjoy your drink instead of rushing out the door. Definitely planning to come back and try more of their menu. If you're into matcha, this spot is a must.
