My review comes from years of experience dealing with the friendly and knowledgeable pros at Marlow. I have always been treated with respect, repairs have been perfect, prices are reasonable, and I appreciate this relationship. Bill Marlow, owner, even gave his personal cell phone number if I ever needed help. After years of positive experiences, I do not hesitate to recommend Marlow Automotive to family, friends, and you. Been 4 times for a check engine light and keeps coming on the day after I pay and leave.

Marlow Automotive saved me thousands of dollars and a massive headache. Another shop misdiagnosed my Raptor, claiming it needed a total engine swap, but the team at Marlow found the actual issue: the timing chain. Their honesty and technical expertise are top-notch. No hidden fees, great communication, and total transparency. If you want a shop you can actually trust, this is it. read more

I had motor mount failure 2000 miles ( about six weeks) after upper control arm replacement. They blamed the failure on a motor mount replacement about 25000 miles before at another facility. Just curious how work in the same area could be unrelated to a loose bolt and a missing bolt that showed no signs of problems prior. I was just driving a smooth straight road at 30mph when the motor fell down. Makes no sense to me since I drove 20000+ miles when no issue until they worked on the area. They said they were not responsible. Can't prove a thing. Had long discussion but they want to put blame on someone else 20000 miles ago. Pitiful. read more

I have only ever had stellar experiences with Billy, Bill, and the entire Marlow team. They're currently helping me navigate my insurance company after my car was hit, and it's been quite the process to get in touch with the right people and get things approved. They've been there every step of the way! I've been coming here for years and highly recommend them to anyone in need of auto repairs - they're honest, communicative, and great at what they do! read more

I have been coming to Billy and the Marlow team for a couple of years now with my Jeep Wrangler. They have always been so helpful and knowledgeable about any problems I may have had with my car! I normally don't write reviews, but after my most recent trip I cannot express my gratitude enough! Recently I went to a quick service auto shop to get my oil changed and as they were finishing up they let me know it was time to get all of of my fluids replaced. When I asked the quick service shop for a quote to do this they let me know it would be around $600-$700! I decided to hold off at that shop and that I would have the Marlow team look at it just to make sure they were correct. I easily scheduled an appointment at Marlow and brought by car in. After a couple of hours I called back to get an estimate on when my car would be done and they let me know it would be done in about 5 minutes and to head up there, the team also let me know what I would owe and it was $50! Confused about this, I arrived at the shop and talked to Billy and he let me know my fluids were practically full when I brought my car in and he did not know why that other auto shop would tell me that. I am a young woman, and I look younger than I am, but Billy and the team have never tried to deceive me or guide me in the wrong direction with my car. I am so grateful to the Marlow team for their help and I will always take my car there for any future service because of my relationship with them. The team did a full inspection on my car and topped off my fluids, and I was on my way saving money and with a peace of mind that my car was in great shape. Thank you again to the Marlow Team! read more

I happened across Marlow Automotive thank goodness. Traveling through Texas I had a flat on the freeway near Dallas. I made it to the exit and found Marlow Automotive. They didn't carry the tire I needed but Billy Marlow put my spare on for me at no charge! My husband is grateful for you helping me. Thanks again, Happy Holidays! read more

The old standard of hard work, kindness and honesty still exists at Marlow Automotive. What a pleasure to was to find this business. Marlow Automotive - My Pride And Joy! - Auto Repair Near Me - Plano, Texas

They took pictures and videos of everything in my car so I could see the problems. They did an excellent job fixing my jeep and even did a follow up call to make sure everything was still working properly. Definitely the best customer service I've ever experienced in an auto mechanic! read more

These guys are honest and do good work. I sent my niece here when when she poked a hole in her jeep and they took real good care of her car. They fixed my AC for good after having other places try. I do a lot of my own work, but I know if I can't do it and I bring it here, they treat it like it is their car. Unfortunately, that is an unusual practice in this industry. read more

What this shop has that others don't, is respect for the customer. I don't know if this is a family owned shop, but they treat each other AND the customer as if it is. When I like a place so much that I leave a review, it's serious. These guys have never let me down, they give me follow up calls about my car, but never cease to ask me about myself either. I like this place so much I baked them cookies. THATS real. read more

I have been to Marlow Automotive twice and have loved the shop. I recently brought my car in for a few different things I had put off and for some noises my car was making. Jose called me periodically with updates even after the hassle he had to go through. Turns out when I got a new transmission about a year ago from another small pop shop in a small town in Georgia, they installed it wrong - which was causing complications to my car. Jose stayed in contact with Georgia auto shop, and every time any changes came up with the other company or my car, he made sure to call me first. Although Marlow is about 30 minutes out of the way for me, it is well worth the drive for the service I am getting. Jose also followed up with me a few days after picking up my car to see how the car was running and what not. read more

Top notch customer service! They won't overcharge you. Billy even texts to check in with me after I get the car back.

I moved here from Cali 3 years ago. My family recommended Marlowe Automotive and had been going there for years. Marlow has been honest with me from the get-go. I continue to take my car to them...a sweet old Lexus SUV who is in great shape, and they help me keep her that way. I highly recommend Marlowe Automotive. Jose always keeps you informed and is very knowledgeable. read more

As someone who recently moved to the area, Marlow's was recommended to me by a discount tire employee. I went in there and immediately felt at home and comfortable with them working on my vehicle. They've always kept me well informed, explained everything when I had questions (which i usually have a lot), and always have fair prices- especially compared to some of the other shops and dealerships in the area!! They're an honest, family-owned business that you immediately feel at home with. Been back a few times now and will continue to use them for all my auto needs. They're the best and have the best staff as well! read more

Excellent service, a repair shop that you can TRUST that can handle all your car needs! Give them a try!

I had a Jeep Liberty Limited for close to 14 years. I LOOOVED my Jeep. Bill, Jose, all the people at Marlow were accommodating, honest, and good at what they do best... auto repair. When I sold my Jeep this past summer... 126,000 miles, a new solenoid, a rebuilt transmission later, the young couple who purchased me vehicle for top dollar told me a story. The fellow from Oklahoma who bought my Jeep was also an auto-mechanic. He said he'd never seen such a clean engine or undercarriage on a vehicle of the age of 13. He also said the care of the car was expertly done. There was an actual bidding war on my car! The mechanic met my asking price because he said the care and maintenance of the vehicle were excellent. I made sure that my new car was one that Bill and crew can maintain. Thank you guys! read more

Outstanding professional and honest auto service. Marlow's is the BEST.

Absolutely the BEST place to get any kind of work done on your vehicle. I never take my car in to the Toyota dealership because Bill and his crew do such a fabulous job. This is an honest, hardworking small business who have high ethics when it comes to car repair/maintenance. I've been going to them for 15+ years and wouldn't think of going any where else. Bill, Candy and Jose are the best. Thank you all for taking such good care of me and my Camry! read more

I've been going to Marlow Automotive for almost 20 years. They have serviced my cars, my kids while they were in school, as well as a lot of my friends. I could write a long lengthy review, but I will simply say that their is a good reason I keep going back. Trust, honesty, professionalism, and overall satisfaction. Try them, you won't regret it and you will be recommending them as well afterward. read more

If I could rate this "shop" 0 stars I would, but just know that if you take your Jeep there to get worked on, they don't have any secure parking or cameras to watch any cars they leave out over night, and how do I know this? I took my Jeep there a feel years ago, and it was stolen from their shop, and they couldn't have cared less. To this day, I still believe it was an insidee job, and I tell everybody I can to NOT take their Jeep there for work!! read more

If you are looking to do diagnostic tests on your vehicles, do it elsewhere. They charge 100 whereas AutoFix It charges 8. If you still want it done for less, Auto Zone will do it for free. Also, I don't recommend bringing your vehicles here because Jose was very condescending and inflexible. Customer service is essential and they don't seem to grasp the concept. Don't believe all the "good" reviews on Marlow because they can be misleading. read more

Marlow Automotive has taken care of all my mechanical needs for over 15 years. Bill is always honest about prices and gives me options. Very helpful, fair, and friendly! My mom has been a loyal customer for years, and I think I will be, too!

Family owned. Honest. Very nice. Trustworthy. Will explain in detail the problem with a solution before doing the work and charging. Most trustworthy shop in Plano! I have a Nissan QX4 and I took it to a dealership and they told me my engine was all full of sludge and want $7,000 for a new block. Second time I have taken my Jeep to Marlow Automotive, each time they explained items that needed to be fixed and were very understanding and low pressure when we talked about repairs that were must have vs. nice to have. Most shops at dealerships the service techs are so commission driven they don't look for return customers, I feel Marlow understands the value of taking care of their customers. I will definitely go back and refer to friends. read more

I found Marlow Auto when I moved to Dallas a year ago. They have always been friendly, fair and thorough. I took my Wrangler to Bill and his team and they took great care of her. After being a longtime customer and loyal to the recommended maintenance (a little pushy) I was very let down and no mercy was even offered when I was told my motor was dead and needed to be replaced. There mechanics are amazing, it's the front desk I had issues with. I do trust there work, I wouldn't trust there prices.. As I did have a situation on a part I caught them triple charging as i priced check them at a local car dealership parts dept which you would think would be the triple priced! They said it'd because of the special tools required to install the part.. It was a switch for my sunroof.. Just beware when going here.. You might be better served at a Car dealership, prices are most likely the same. read more

Jose seemed rude but knew what he was talking about . My car is in their shop as of now waiting on to be fixed .
