I had motor mount failure 2000 miles ( about six weeks) after upper control arm replacement. They blamed the failure on a motor mount replacement about 25000 miles before at another facility. Just curious how work in the same area could be unrelated to a loose bolt and a missing bolt that showed no signs of problems prior. I was just driving a smooth straight road at 30mph when the motor fell down. Makes no sense to me since I drove 20000+ miles when no issue until they worked on the area. They said they were not responsible. Can't prove a thing. Had long discussion but they want to put blame on someone else 20000 miles ago. Pitiful. read more

I have been coming to Billy and the Marlow team for a couple of years now with my Jeep Wrangler. They have always been so helpful and knowledgeable about any problems I may have had with my car! I normally don't write reviews, but after my most recent trip I cannot express my gratitude enough! Recently I went to a quick service auto shop to get my oil changed and as they were finishing up they let me know it was time to get all of of my fluids replaced. When I asked the quick service shop for a quote to do this they let me know it would be around $600-$700! I decided to hold off at that shop and that I would have the Marlow team look at it just to make sure they were correct. I easily scheduled an appointment at Marlow and brought by car in. After a couple of hours I called back to get an estimate on when my car would be done and they let me know it would be done in about 5 minutes and to head up there, the team also let me know what I would owe and it was $50! Confused about this, I arrived at the shop and talked to Billy and he let me know my fluids were practically full when I brought my car in and he did not know why that other auto shop would tell me that. I am a young woman, and I look younger than I am, but Billy and the team have never tried to deceive me or guide me in the wrong direction with my car. I am so grateful to the Marlow team for their help and I will always take my car there for any future service because of my relationship with them. I have been to Marlow Automotive twice and have loved the shop. I recently brought my car in for a few different things I had put off and for some noises my car was making. Jose called me periodically with updates even after the hassle he had to go through. Turns out when I got a new transmission about a year ago from another small pop shop in a small town in Georgia, they installed it wrong - which was causing complications to my car. Jose stayed in contact with Georgia auto shop, and every time any changes came up with the other company or my car, he made sure to call me first. Although Marlow is about 30 minutes out of the way for me, it is well worth the drive for the service I am getting. Jose also followed up with me a few days after picking up my car to see how the car was running and what not. read more

When I sold my Jeep this past summer... 126,000 miles, a new solenoid, a rebuilt transmission later, the young couple who purchased me vehicle for top dollar told me a story. The fellow from Oklahoma who bought my Jeep was also an auto-mechanic. He said he'd never seen such a clean engine or undercarriage on a vehicle of the age of 13. If you are looking to do diagnostic tests on your vehicles, do it elsewhere. They charge 100 whereas AutoFix It charges 8. If you still want it done for less, Auto Zone will do it for free. Also, I don't recommend bringing your vehicles here because Jose was very condescending and inflexible. Customer service is essential and they don't seem to grasp the concept. After being a longtime customer and loyal to the recommended maintenance (a little pushy) I was very let down and no mercy was even offered when I was told my motor was dead and needed to be replaced. There mechanics are amazing, it's the front desk I had issues with. I do trust there work, I wouldn't trust there prices.. As I did have a situation on a part I caught them triple charging as i priced check them at a local car dealership parts dept which you would think would be the triple priced! They said it'd because of the special tools required to install the part.. It was a switch for my sunroof.. Just beware when going here..
