I've been waiting 1 hour and 15 minutes and they haven't even started working on my vehicle. There were only 2 vehicles in front of me. They seem professional, but this wait time is ridiculous and absolutely wasting my day. Incredibly disappointed. You only pay Take 5 prices because you expect a quick oil change - so fast you can wait in the car without melting. However, the last two times I came to this location the wait was unreasonably long. Last time it was an hour, and today I got here at 4:13, and didn't get out of there until 5:31! The lady behind me just left after sitting in her hot car for 30 minutes. Good thing she left because it was another 45 minutes without no movement. People, the manager is kind, friendly, and professional, but who cares when you have to wait this long for a "ten minute" oil change that takes over an hour? And isn't it funny how they used to say it was five minutes? Ha! Now the website says ten minutes, but c'mon that was waaaay over ten minutes. Again, Sasha (the manager) was very professional, but without more workers, no one should go there unless you're lonely and need a way to empty your pockets and waste an hour and a half! I went to Take 5 #0069 in Plano TX. Worst experience EVER! There was one car in being serviced, and 1 in front of me. I wanted an oil change and emissions test. Should have known from the start it wasn't gonna be easy when the mechanic had trouble opening the hood! Then their system told them the wrong size oil filter. So they ask me if the engine had been replaced! Seriously! One guy did walk to Autozone and get the correct oil filter(Props There!) So, the oil change took over an hour, then another 20 minutes for the inspection. My patience was really gone at this point! Then he wants to sell me wind shield wipers and differential service. Tells me for recommends it every 3000 miles. Ford doesn't recommend any service every 3000 miles! For Ford vehicles, the general recommendation is to change the differential fluid every 150,000 miles under normal driving conditions, but more frequent changes (every 30,000 miles) are recommended for vehicles experiencing heavy towing, off-roading, or consistent 4WD engagement. Then the icing on the cake for me was the $10 coupon on the website! He told me I would have to go to the website and have it texted to my phone. My phone was at 8% at this point, I do it, get tired of waiting, so I tell him to ring me up, I just wont be back! I get the text after he is handing me my receipt. You would think he could have taken $10 off without having that text just to satisfy a customer that will never get that hour and a half back. May check with the Attorney General about lying about recommended service intervals. I need an oil change for my van and inspection. I will be taking care of that tomorrow, but it won't be at Take 5.... read more

This has got to be the worst place to take your car to get an oil change. Whole shop needs to change its name to 2 hour oil change. Sat in line for over an hour and a half. Gotta give these guys a bad review. They stripped the drain plug and the bolts to my kick plate when they changed my oil. I knew something was wrong when the guy was using a power wrench to put my kick plate back on. My oil pan bolt was not installed correctly and was leaking. This place is awesome. At first my googlemaps picked the nearest place to my location was kwik kar. The employees there were unprofessional and weren't opened when they said they would be. So I google mapped the next place which was Take5 oil change. This place is a game changer. You can actually sit in your car and drive into the bay while they change your oil. What a great concept! I wish we had a place like this in Arlington/Mansfield. The manager was great and very personal. Easy to talk to. He saw I had kids and gave my 7 year old fruit snacks and a juice pouch while they were servicing my vehicle. I will definitely be back if I'm in the area or if they open a location closer to me. Really impressed with this location. When I pulled up to ask for an inspection sticker, the employee told me to pull around. He must've noticed that I had my two kids in the car because when I pulled around he was there waiting with two bags of gummies and some water bottles. First timer but not a novice driver. I drive all over the US and do about 12-15,000 miles per month So that equals about 2-3 oil changes per month. Joel & Jordan are amazing and really care about your car and the driver. It was hands down the most notable oil change l have experienced. You literally stay in the car, you are warmly greeted and you get an ice cold water while you wait. I asked several question of Jordan while Joel was handling the oil change and Jordan was very attentive. This location gets 5 stars. Rico, the manager is an exceptional Manager and just a great person. I've been here a few times and Customer Service was exceptional from him and his team. This is a happy place, full of positive energy. I do want to say something about the manager Rico, he went above and beyond to help me with my vehicle issues one morning. I got an oil change a couple of days prior to an incident that occurred on my way to work and called him to see if he had noticed any leaks or anything, since my car was overheating. It did not have anything to do with the oil change but BMWs are known for certain issues and this was one of them. I was stalled on the highway, parked on the access road of course, and when I told Mr. Rico what was going on, he asked where I was and offered to come out and check my engine for me. I was amazed. He did not have to do that, it was not the fault of this place that my car was overheating but for him to come out,which was a few miles from his location, and drove my car to see what was going on, called a few of his friends to get some prices for me because I have to change the thermostat and another issue. I mean he spent a good 30 minutes to make sure that all of my questions were answered, again, he did not have to do this because the issue didn't have anything to do with the oil change. But he went above and beyond, and come out to my location, look at my engine, make some calls to check prices, I mean what else can I say? I told a few of my friends about his service and all of them said one word, wow! This company is very fortunate to have such a dedicated employee and that knows what Customer Service really is. They will be missed as I am relocating to New Jersey. I only hope I can find someone as good as this location and as Mr. Rico up there as well. I took my car in for an oil change on Saturday. Their promo says they check and refill fluids. My transmission has been slipping a little bit I hope they would check it but they said they don't check brake fluid or transmission fluid. They didn't refill my antifreeze which is low. They wouldn't put air in my tires because one showed some metal though I am replacing them this week and had planned to. All they did was give me some windshield washer fluid. My usual place cost about half as much but they don't check fluids so I was giving this place a try because I knew my fluids were somewhat low. Not seeing the value. read more
