Lack of Transparency: Failing to provide a detailed invoice, delaying part number delivery, and refusing to sign handwritten part numbers suggest an intent to obscure the repair details. Price Gouging example: The extreme markup on parts (e.g., 1825% on the Mass Air Flow Sensor Connector) is far beyond reasonable industry standards. Kenan Ajaj and Joe, I trusted you as reliable mechanics, but my experience was deeply disappointing. On May 14, 2025, I brought my 2014 Audi A4 Quattro to Only4 Auto Care in Dallas, TX, for a starting issue caused by a shorted coil connector. Joe claimed a blown ECU fuse was fixed, but additional parts were needed, costing $2162.20. He said only OEM parts were available, yet after receiving the part numbers I found non-OEM parts at a fraction of the cost (e.g., Mass Air Flow Sensor: $546.66 vs. $34.49). This is just one of the multiple not need parts. I requested an invoice with part numbers multiple times, but Joe didn't send it. On May 17, he provided a printed invoice without part numbers and later texted numbers without descriptions, refusing to sign a handwritten invoice. On May 17, I returned to address missing body panel push pins, low-quality vinyl tape (not high-temperature cloth tape), and no heat shielding. Only two of three replaced parts were returned. I replaced the new parts with my originals, and the car has run perfectly for two months, proving the repairs were unnecessary. Prices were also inflated compared to Audi Dallas (e.g., Sensor Connector: Only4 price only for part $265.02 vs. $13.77 from Auto Dallas). This suggests deceptive practices, violating the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act. This also show price gouging again for a part not needed. On August 1, 2025, at 1 PM, I discussed these issues with Rambo, expecting a call from Ken or Joe, but none came. I'm seeking a full refund and have filed complaints with the Texas Attorney General and BBB. Avoid this shop to prevent similar experiences. When I arrived, I was told they would not install a customer-supplied oil filter, as they were worried about responsibility if it failed. Two problems with this: - The filter was Purolator, a reputable brand. It's as reliable as any on the market. Claiming it's a risk to the car is ridiculous, as is the idea that anyone would blame the installer if it performed poorly. - They booked the appointment knowing I planned to bring a filter, then refused to install it when I arrived. I've used Allison's in the past with good results, but no more - their customer service is very poor.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this shop. I paid approximately $800 for service…read morethat included front brakes and rotors, rear brakes, an oil change, and an inspection. After leaving the shop, I discovered that my front left wheel had not been properly secured and the lug nuts were loose. This is not a minor oversight ! It is a serious safety issue. An unsecured wheel could have resulted in a wheel coming off while I was driving, potentially causing an accident, injury to me, or injury to someone else on the road. When a customer pays a professional repair shop to service their vehicle, there is a reasonable expectation that the vehicle will be returned in safe operating condition. Properly tightening and securing a wheel after brake service is one of the most basic and critical steps of the job. I paid $800 expecting professional workmanship and, most importantly, a safe vehicle. Instead, I was placed in a potentially dangerous situation because of something that should have been checked before my vehicle ever left the shop. They did send a tech out to me to fix the issue. However, it's unknown if there is internal damage to the tire since it was loose. I cannot recommend this business based on my experience. I strongly encourage management to review its quality-control procedures so another customer does not experience the same potentially dangerous mistake.

We called to get help from Murdoch twice and both times left a voice message with no return call. The two calls were: 1. 1st to alert them to the now recurring problem for which they supposedly fixed. We had hopes they may have suggestions to try since we were clueless as to why it would just stop blowing again. 2nd call was ask Murdoch to share details of their "repair" with the current out of state mechanic who was now trying to fix it, We did not have the repair paperwork to tell or show the new mechanic what all had been done to remedy the problem. Murdoch NEVER returned the calls or respond to our pleas to help us at all!! We ended up being told that the cause of our air conditioner failure was a capacitor that was probably the original cause of the outage. We likely did NOT need to have what we thought they did to correct the problem done. Again, about $600 worth of repairs was a wasted investment; Ultimately we learned a capacitor had to be obtained directly from a Ford dealership. Bottom line, because we had to get to the airport for our vacation commitment and couldn't wait for parts to be order and shipped, we ended up having to buy a new vehicle. With the blower on our air conditioner out, we could not drive the car in the heat and rain due to the heavy foggy condensation on the windshield. The blower outage meant our defogger didn't work either. Very expensive lesson for us. We definitely would NOT recommend Murdoch given the after-service neglect and the high dollar cost which did not fix the problem.
