Coit Auto Center replaced the battery that had died the prior day. They were able to provide very fast service. I arrived there with the car, around 1:40 p.m. and was able to leave with the newly installed battery at about 3:10 p.m. That turnaround included their ordering the battery, its being delivered there, and then the installation. Kudos also are for Abed of AAA United LLC Towing. He originally was sent by State Farm to tow the car to a dealership. However, that dealership had a 2-week backlog of service work. When Abed arrived, he charged the old battery so that the car could be driven to a mechanic. He actually came out twice on the same day, as the car battery died twice. The second time was when the car was left running so I could take it asap to the mechanic (Coit Auto Center). read more

They recently did spark plugs on my 2018 Audi A5 for a fraction that the dealer would charge & patched a hole in my girlfriend's tire, in and out, for $10. They're well versed working on newer model year vehicles and older ones alike. Waiting area is quiet and comfortable. I use to go there all the time. Everything was good, until one morning I came to do oil change and the honer and manger there, for no reason started to talk to me very rude, he says "get the fuck out of here", I don't want to do oil change for you!", I wad trying to understand what's happened and why he talk to me like that when I'm a loyal customer who comes all the time to fix my car there. And he just says: "you don't respect me", without explaining anything. I was trying to calm him down but it didn't help, so I just left and told him that I'll never come there again! Looks like they don't respect their customers and don't have a good customer service. I am very disappointed. I have a reason to think that he treated me like that just because he found out I am Jewish, and they are all Muslim Arabs, but I can't prove it. I just know that they always looked at me with some hate in their eyes. I do not recommend this place at all! read more

Had a great experience! I stumbled into this place last week, when I was trying to get my tires aligned on Fathers Day, and struck out of calling all my "regular" auto shops. Rami was very nice, and able to fit me in. He got my car inspection, tires rotated and balanced for $90. He did tell me about the status of my brakes, and did not upsell me. He gave me a very honest quote and time-line. It is an easy place to miss when driving down Frankford, but I will be returning. read more

SCAMMERS Tried to win me over with good customer service. I heard a squeaking noise on my car everytime i turned and they claimed it was a rotor and brake pad problem and was 650$ to fix. the cars only worth 2000$. Took my car to a family friend and it ended up being 99$ for the part (NOT THE ROTOR). My friend even showed me the rotor and the caliper which were both completely fine. The guy who worked here just pointed at my cars tire being wobbly and claimed its the rotor. He didn't even take off the tire to show me anything or go into detail. That's how i know it was a scam. SCAMMERS I called and confronted them and they said that it was "bullshit" yet my car is driving fine and mere 100$ spent on a loose axle nut. read more

I simply can NOT recommend this place to anybody. They take advantage of anybody they feel they can. My college freshman son had to take his car to get a low oil pressure error diagnosed. He is a student at UTD and didn't want to drive too far from campus as the driver information center on the car instructed him to stop the engine. They told him he needed a new valve cover and the leak had damaged the spark plugs and quoted him an estimate of $750. The next day, they didn't call when it was ready. I called to inquire about it and they told me they had just finished when I called. I asked what the total was and was told $750.00, even. I questioned this because never, in my history of many decades of car ownership have I received a bill EXACTLY the same amount of the estimate and an even dollar amount. I told them when my son picked up the car, he will need to be given a detailed bill. They told me no problem. When my son picked up the car, the "detailed" receipt did not show the car make/model that was repaired nor any other car-related information. The "detail" provided was a dictionary definition of what a valve cover is; humorously enough, they claim the valve cover is held together by the valve cover gasket. I'm afraid to allow my child to drive a car where the valve cover is held together by the gasket alone. There was no detail, no breakdown of costs until the "tottal" was provided as $750.00. The State Sales Tax of 8.25% was $0.00 because apparently no parts were used in this repair even though I was assured spark plugs were replaced. When I called to question this, the gentleman with whom I spoke continued to speak over me, insisting this is a fair price. Well, maybe/maybe not. It's hard to say without any supporting information. I told him I'm reporting him to the State Tax Commissioner because they are not collecting and detailing the sales tax they collect. I don't trust this place at all. Their customer service is horrible and if a shop refuses to support their charges, it's because they're cheating a person. read more

I was worried they wouldn't be able to help me in time, since I was already late to work and I was worried it would cost me an arm and a leg... they were super fast and extremely affordable!
