I've been using Rodney Hernson Automotive for 10 plus years and when Rodney sold his business due to health concerns to Integrity 1st Car Pros I continued my service with Integrity. They are a wonderful group of honest people that do quality work on my Mercedes for much less than the dealer. My husband also has his 4-Runner serviced at Integrity 1st now as well. Many of Rodney's service people continued with Integrity 1st as well and Jake is still the lead mechanic. Super friendly guys but I think they specialize more in repairs than in oil change aka B service! Their B service was SO expensive. Their reasoning is that they buy the oil directly from Mercedes! So if there's no savings, go back to Mercedes for the oil change directly as Rodney does not offer loaner car or car wash. Lesson learned, never again will I bring my car here for regular oil change. read more

My parents recently moved to the Metroplex and own a Mercedes sedan. The sensors were going haywire on the front bumper from having been caught on a low curb when the car automatically lowered itself after parking. Rodney came highly recommended from someone in our neighborhood. All I can say is WOW! All of his reviews are at least two years old, but he has maintained the high degree of courtesy, cleanliness, friendliness and knowledgeability that everyone else mentioned in prior reviews. Rodney is the best. Not your typical automotive shop. As Mercedes age, they make certain noises. Some are the sign of something bad, others may be nothing. Rodney is the kind of guy you can call, swing by and he'll take a look at things and let you know if it needs work or not. Then you can schedule a time to get it fixed if it needs it. He knows his Mercedes and you can trust him 100%. He never tells you something you don't need. He is a rare find. I just wish he worked on a Porsche and BMWs!! read more

Had an issue with my S63 and didn't trust the dealer so took it to see him after again getting referred to him by a close friend who has been using him for 20years. THE BEST. After purchasing my E350, I wanted to find an alternative to a dealership for the routine service of my car. Rodney Herson was recommended by a long-time customer and I was assured I'd be well taken care of. I just finished my first service, and I was VERY well taken care of. I dropped my car off at 7:30am and was given a quick tour of the facility. The service bays were so clean you could almost eat off the floors. Mr. Herson gave me a detailed background of his training on Mercedes-Benz and I could tell his extensive love for these cars. My car was ready before the agreed upon time, an I was shown the old cabin filter that was taken out, so I could see why I needed a new one. The employees have been with this business for many years and are dedicated to customer service. I will definitely take my car back for all of it's future service. read more

I can describe this place in one word, SUPERLATIVE Of the highest order, quality, or degree; surpassing or superior to all others. I was looking for a Mercedes knowledgeable place to start taking my CL to and discovered R.H.A. After reading the 5 star reviews I decided to take a chance, even though they only had 5 or 6 reviews total I know how hard it is to keep it like that and not have a negative review, especially for automotive places. I couldn't be happier, I know I made the right choice now and will not be taking my car anywhere else . They accommodated me and let my co worker pick up my car for me (a couple Benz's in his family as well), and he immediately called me when he left to tell me how impressed he was . My parents have been taking their Mercedes to Rodney for years so when my wife got one a few years back it was a given that we'd go there as well. Rodney and his staff are extremely knowledgeable, helpful, prompt, honest and reasonably priced. We had an issue last year with the hard drive for the navigation system making a horrible clicking noise. This wasn't something Rodney could fix but he had a contact that could and that guy was equally as good as Rodney. I love not having to go to a big dealership where you're just another number to be cycled through quickly so another car can get up on the lift. read more

My boss, Barry Hirsch, originally introduced me to Rodney Herson Auto about 8 years ago. Since then we have been taking our Mercedes to get oil changes/repairs done! Usually you can drop your car off first thing in the morning and pick it up later that afternoon. Unless you have a major service, you will get it the next day! WOW! I live in California but was purchasing a car in Texas...a scary proposition unless you have Rodney on your side. The dealer brought the car to Rodney and he looked at it the same day. Rodney and his staff were very prompt and professional - and his analysis of the car was incredibly detailed! He hooked up to the car's computer and let me know about a couple of faults I would have otherwise been unaware of. While the dealer indicated that no paint work had been done on the car, Rodney proved otherwise - the paint work was very well done, but Rodney's paint thickness measuring tool discovered it. He also provided me with a list of dings that were so small, the dealer had a hard time seeing them when Rodney pointed them out. Very detail oriented - definitely a guy you want to have on your side! On top of that, his price was one third that of some other outfits I found on the Internet! read more

A friend of mine told me that she takes her Mercedes here and would not trust it to anyone else. It was time for service and my brake light indicator was on so I dropped my car off and he had the work completed very fast. I was also advised my car was checked over to make sure nothing else was going on with it. Mercedes of Plano told me my car needed new brake job on rear brakes & quoted $900+! I called Rodney for a second opinion, He said bring it in for a look @ no charge. Rodney is honest, professional, respectful, and smart as hell! No matter what's going on in his shop, his customers always come first. I was recommended to him by a family friend and I can totally see why now. Couple of months ago I bought my car in for engine problem. The warranty barely expired. Mercedes dealership quoted me over $7,000 to fix it. Rodney gave me a honest opinion and told me it not worth it if it cost me over $7,000 but maybe Mercedes will extend the warranty. Rodney guide me to call mercedes hq to address the issue. at 60,000 miles it should happen. it work, Mercedes hq called the dealership and it only cost me $500. it was such a relieve.
