Hi I went in there and bought 1000 worth of tires ( 4 ) installed and balanced I was in a hurry to get back to work so ,l had to leave. I went back 2 days later to pick up my old tires and to tell them that the new tires were not properly balanced They were bouncing and shimmying at hwy speeds They basically told me that it was how those tires were, ( not true) and wouldnt even check them Last time ill ever go there . I got the tires balanced at another shop . The ladys in office are great Guys in shop suck read more

I thought I may have had a problem with my front tires, They were kind enough to look at it, rotate them out for me for no charge

Great experience! Super fast service! Will definitely be back if ever in need of new or used tires

Great service. We needed a tire repaired and we weee in and out in about 20 minutes. The prices are great and the staff are friendly and helpful read more

I have been doing business with Payless for several years. Every staff member is always welcoming and provide service with care and efficiency. They always have plenty of pre owned tires, including hard to find tire sizes. Bought several sets of tires and they are in great condition and price is very reasonable. Mario the manager is very sharp and knowledgeable about his service and inventory. He can tell you about his tire inventory by memory! Pretty impressive! I will always do business with Payless! read more

Absolutely the best! They were not the first to respond, but they were the ones who were able to meet my requirements exactly. In and out quickly. Efficiently. Professionally done. Hard working crew and boss. Tire shop work in the Texas summer heat is difficult. Very difficult. I read the reviews first, and they were given high marks. After talking with them on the phone, I decided to visit and see what they were like. Great group of people I would love to have on my team wherever I worked. My needs were met under budget, and I am very pleased. I wish more of my friends lived in the area, I would send them all here. Thanks again, guys! read more

Great service, great price. Local tire shop, that has all your tire needs covered. Used and new.

GREAT PRICES AND AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE! I went to another place and they tried to charge me double what they're charging here. This place is for the people. read more

Payless Tire & Wheel - Tires Near Me - Garland, Texas

Not only do they have amazing customer service, but my tires were put on my vehicle fairly quickly and they were also fairly cheap. My family has been coming to this tire shop for over 20 years and we will come here until the day it closes for good(I hope it never closes) read more

Friendly, fast, good pricing. Overall good experience and I would highly recommend this place

Anchoring the NE corner of the intersection once known as "Five Points" sits Payless Tire & Wheel. In a city that has tire shops on nearly every corner, this one reigns supreme. The owner has been there about 40 years, and Sir, you've succeeded quite nicely. You will not find lower prices or faster services and the driveup model is genius. read more

Had a razor blade stuck in my tire, instead of charging me for another even used tire, he said all he needed was to patch it up for me and said I should be good to go !! saved me some money for sure since I thought I needed a new/used one. overall really friendly and helpful, would definitely recommend. read more

They were quick and very affordable. I will be purchasing new tires from Payless Tire & Wheel very soon.

This place was referred by my brother in law. They're so friendly. Price is amazing. Very nice people. This is my second time here. Boy what a difference in my car. Definitely recommended place. read more

The owner and the mechanics are the bomb dot com. No one wants to have to be in a position to need new tires, but I'm so thankful for Payless Tire & Wheel being there when I needed them! Superb customer service, and excellent prices. You can't beat that. Excellent customer care takes time, so don't expect to be in and out in 5 minutes. There's a waiting room to keep you occupied while the mechanics get your vehicle ready for the road. If I ever need new or used tires in the future, I'm definitely coming back here! read more

Quick, knowledgeable about tires and cheap!! Bought a brand new tire for $90 when discount Tires wanted $120 for the same tire. In & out in 20 minutes. read more

Despite the crazy weather we had this past week they were still able to get me in for a set of tires for my Honda CR-V today. They were quick and were able to beat the price that Discount had quoted me for the same tire. Very good customer service. I will definitely use them again for my tire needs! read more

Payless Tire & Wheel - New Dunlops! - Tires Near Me - Garland, Texas

A smaller place but Did a great job on my car! Very helpful and Friendly staff. Tire Pricing Is good.

I came across this place and they sold me 4 new tires at a great price that I could afford. They also provided very fast service. I will definitely recommend this place to everyone I know. read more

As you know, this guy loves to get a bargain. This is my tire destination. I love to live dangerously so I almost always buy used tires-and this is the best place around to do so. The prices are low and the quality is generally much better than some other used tire shops. They also try to take care of you customer services wise-especially if they know you are a frequent visitor. They often offer to rotate the tires when I go in just to have one replaced and have often thrown in the balancing for free. They are there rain or shine(a fact I have been very happy about on a couple of occasions) and unless it is a Sat(when they get hella swamped) they can usually get you in and out very quickly. You can also buy new tires here-if you're not feeling daring! read more

Good place for flat repairs if you have a regular car or see cars as just something that gets you from point A to B. I.E - you don't care as long as it rolls. If you have a nicer car or wheels, I would not recommend. Bought new nice wheels that was scratched/nicked while tires were installed. Young guys working the tires that know what to do, just don't really pay attention/treat your nice things nicely. Tip: if you bought nice valve caps and want to keep them, take it off before they work on it. In response to the owner, I first mentioned the fact that the correct valve caps that I bought, checked and specifically pointed out before the work - was not replaced back on the tire, staff shuffled some things around then shrugged their shoulders. That did not give me confidence that they would care that they ruined my rims either. read more

So disappointed and EXTREMELY MAD!!! 12 days ago I bought a pair of tires and today in the pouring rain I had to change this tire. When I called Payless and asked to speak with management, I explained the situation and that I have been a customer for over 20 years. I was expecting some type of sincerity to begin with but I was also expecting them to make an effort to RIGHT this WRONG. Instead, the first guy that I talked to said "well bring it back in and we will see if we can figure out what happened" and the second guy that I talked to said that he would take care of this tire. NO SHIT, that's the LEAST you could do. I was not offered any type of credit or refund but instead just told they would take care of this tire. A tire that I bought 12 days ago to prevent something like today from happening... I most definitely wanted to change a tire in the pouring rain. NOT!!! I would hope that tomorrow when I bring my car in, Payless tries to SAVE THIS CUSTOMER!!! read more

Stopped here today for new tires. The guys here were friendly, knowledgeable and gave me a good deal. I needed an alignment and they referred me over to a mechanic shop locally that I actually get my inspections done at. Very pleased with the speed of service and their transparency in pricing. I'll definitely purchase tires from them again! read more

Payless Tire & Wheel - Tires Near Me - Garland, Texas

In and out pretty quick, though I'd prefer they used a torque wrench instead of air tools when putting my wheels back on. Got out for $46 total with 2 Michelin's with decent tread, mounted. Guy putting them on insisted they didn't need balancing, I was doubtful, but they do indeed ride very smooth. These tires were over $100/each new, and I'd say they have about 50% tread remaining, if not more. They also didn't charge a penny to rotate the other tires while I was there. read more

Another tire with another puncture (heavy duty staples in this case). Another 100% great experience with these guys. Total respect. They deserve your business. read more

Got two new front tires installed and balanced within 25-30 minutes, & for a very reasonable price. The staff was very friendly and helpful and it was over all just a great experience! I'll be back. read more

I just hate to drive all the way to Garland..OMG! I live in Highland Park. Will I get shot or robbed there? Anyway, the reviews sound great. Will head way out there for a great deal. peace out read more

Couldn't be happier with my experience here. Rolled in around 8:10 for 4 used tires, and rolled out before 8:30. Ride is quieter, smoother, and all my tries match now. The staff was polite to me, not super-friendly, but there was a sense of camaraderie between the employees. You get the sense that these guys like their job. Don't take the "not super-friendly" comment wrong, either, because no one was rude; they were all professional in their demeanor. The price quoted to me via phone for new tires definitely beat out any of the big-name dealers, it was just more than I could part with at this time, so ~$140 for 4 decent used tires was a great deal in my book. And it sure beat sitting at a big name dealer for an hour or more! read more

Great place and super fast. They will give you what you want. I'm happy i found this place and I recommend this place for anyone looking for new or used tires. read more

I came to Payless Tires after I was cheated rotten by Sams Auto Repair's in Allen Texas. Mario and his team at Payless tire and wheels took over the job and did a great job they even saved me money and by trading in lug nuts, didn't even charge me for that! I was in and out in less than 15mins! I drove all the way from McKinney Texas based on the yelp reviews. I was extremely satisfied and trust me it was worth the drive. I highly recommend this place and I will definitely drive here again! Save some money and headache use these guys! read more

This place was very professional & the prices were very good! Got 4 new tires put in on my car and the guy did a great job! Definitely recommend this place! read more

This place had very good reviews so I decided to try it out. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars because I usually pay a flat out fee for a used tire of 35.00 but they charged disposal fee of my bad tire and taxes. Overall the place has great customer service and I will return as I am very picky where I take my cars :) read more

When it got cold outside my tire warning light came on and I stopped at this place because it was conveniently located. Mario had me pull my Jeep up and he put air in all my tires super quickly. I was in and out in less than 5 minutes and it was completely FREE! I would recommend this place to anyone! read more

This tire shop has been at this location as long as I can remember. My dad used to get his "new" tires here when I was growing up, and so it has become tradition for my husband and myself, as well. The only time we use other tire places is when they're closed. Every visit brings several nice men out to offer assistance. I have become partial to one in particular, who has been there since I was a kid. He treats me like family and makes sure everyone else does too. They will sell you a new tire if you want them to, but one time when I said I wanted a new tire (not realizing my father always bought used, they were always new looking), Larry, my fave, brought a new tire and an old tire out and asked me which one I wanted. I could not tell the difference until he turned the tire around and I saw the cardboard hanger that was attached the new tire, giving many of the details I was just given about both tires. The main difference, the one was a retread, and the other was new. I had to take my car in for a nail in the tire not too long ago, and Larry was off that day, but happened to be there picking up his check. The guy that was helping me told him I was there. He came out and hugged me and told the other two guys working on the tire to be sure to check and rotate ALL the tires. This is the type of service that I usually get , and I have seen this grade of service from for all of their customers. It is a standard that has kept them in business for well over 20 years. read more

Love coming to this place for my tires and the tire service has always been outstanding last time that I went looks like some other people bought the place they changed the office and the recipe process took a long time and they were all confused on what they were doing, from what It looks like they are trying to make a nice old fashion Tire shop into some like discount tire I personally don't like all the paperwork and long waits at places like that I just want to get my tires and go that's one of reason l love this place is because of the old style and friendly environment it honestly sucks seeing it all different now with new people in the office it just doesn't feel like it used to. read more

Excellent service! They had me in & out in no time. Barry was very nice, the staff was very helpful as soon as I walked in the door. I'll definitely be going back! read more

No complaints. Good prices, fast service. If it is your first time here, they will either come directly to your car (where you can sit while they change your tires), or you can go inside to the little office in the middle. They have new and used tires, and the used tires are a great deal depending on what they have in stock at the time. read more
