They're open from 7AM to midnight, so even if you find yourself in a bad spot late at night, they're surprisingly still open while almost all other tire repair shops are closed! I am writing to formally report a deeply disturbing experience I had today at Hamm's. I arrived at the shop seeking assistance for a nail in my tire. An employee approached me but refused to speak. When he returned with a jack, I asked if he knew which tire was flat. He suddenly became aggressive, repeatedly calling me "guey" in Spanish. As I tried to clarify which tire needed repair, his behavior escalated; he appeared highly agitated with bloodshot eyes, dropped to his knees, and began shouting insults at me, including "pendejo." When I asked him to calm down, he told me to "get the fuck out." I immediately went to the manager's office to report the situation and asked if the employee might be under the influence of drugs. The manager merely smirked and replied, "Unfortunately, that's the business." He offered no apology and told me to wait by my car. While I waited, I could hear the employee continuing to scream profanities at me from another part of the shop. Finally, another employee approached me. When I asked if anyone would be helping me, he told me my only options were to call the police--claiming they would never show up--or to leave the property. When I asked to speak with the manager again, this employee told me to "fuck off." I eventually drove across the street to J&J Llantas Inc., where the staff was polite and efficient. The technician there even confirmed that he had witnessed the entire altercation from across the street. I am stunned by the unprofessionalism and hostility I encountered at Hamm's and will never use your services again. read more

3.5 stars but Yelp doesn't have that option. $15 to remove a nail in my tire. The lesson learned is you must have the tire key ready and tell them what to do, because they don't have enough staff to check on you. It feels like everyone has a flat tire at the same time when I was there. There were 5 cars ahead of me. No one came out to instruct customers to choose the correct line for inspection or tire change, so some people left after a long wait. I myself had to ask other cars if I am good to take the open spot for tire change. Even after that, I waited 30 minutes without anyone checking on what I need. I wasn't informed about the price until the end. It was only $15 but it would be nice to tell me in advance, because bad mechanics are everywhere. Overall, I respect these guys for the hard work, but the process was not fast or efficient as other reviews said. They could've kept more customers if they had a designated check in process. read more

If you are a woman do not go here...they will try to rip you off and they do not do a proper job...had my tires so called balanced And when I left the front end was shaking so I took it to another tire shop and try showed me all the tires were not balanced correctly so they did it correctly...then the owner's son at Hamms said I needed an alignment and when I took it next door the guy said I didn't need one then the owners son went over and talked to the alignment guy and came back and said he'll check it again and for some odd reason it needed an alignment so they so called did it and charged me then I went back over to Hamms and they finished the balancing ...the other tire shop said they did the alignment wrong so I got screwed twice by 2 different companies...steer clear from these low lifes because they only want your money and will not do the job right...I want my money back and I want it now !!!!!! read more

Didnt get my service done at Hamm's, but they recommended a place that fixed the seal on my tires and got it fixed same day! Love the staff at Hamm's, always helpful and trustworthy. Guys know what they're doing. Never have had a problem with the staff or anyone before and everyone is very nice and knowledgable. Definitely recommend, but if you arrive I do advise parking in the spots near the corner by the light and then talking to one of the guys before you pull into a spot in front of the garage. They removed my Google review. So here it is again. HORRIBLE. do not come here or let them work on your car. Do not come here thinking you're going to save money, because you'll get more expensive problems that you have to fix elsewhere. Changing lug nuts is such a basic job, and they can't even do that right, so how do we know that they can do the other stuff right ? I was missing a lug nut and came to see if they could replace the missing lug nut. The tech I had spoke very little English and there were a few misunderstandings. On top of that he had terrible customer service skills and always talked over me. I told him my wheels required conical lug nuts and asked if they had any in stock? He told me the lug nut doesn't matter for wheels and any lug nut will work with my car. He proceeded to take the wheel lock key I gave him and used a sledge hammer to force it onto a regular lug nut, damaging my wheel lock key that is now stuck to the lug nut. I didn't realize what had happened until I took it to another mechanic who told me why he couldn't get the key off the lug nut. He also put on a random lug not on my wheel to replace the one he took off, and I don't even know whether he put a conical lug or a ball lug on. Not sure how reliable it is. TLDR; I had 4/5 lug nuts and needed one added. Guy takes off one nut to look at, leaving me with 3 of my original nuts. And puts on one of their lug nuts. Leaving me still with 4/5 lug nuts. And egregiously damages my wheel lock key. Didn't even remove the lug or install the new one with a torque wrench , but a hand held drill tool. Leaving me with a safety driving hazard. Instead of getting help, I only got more frustration and problems. This guy royally screwed me up and now I have to pay a lot of money to have my other wheel locks removed for my new lug set. This service lacks serious integrity and competence. The credibility of this business is questionable. Go anywhere but here; Discount Tire, Christian Brothers , Firestone, Texas Tires. read more

Sprung a leak in my tire at 10pm on Fathers Day Sunday while driving home, had enough air to cruise into Hamm's tires since I saw they were open until midnight. I never got out of my car and the nice gentleman asked where the problem was, jacked my truck up, immediately rolled the tire away to path the hole, came back within 10 mins after doing a submerge test and slapped it back on, good as new. They provided a receipt for $15, I paid in cash and immediately got change and went on my merry way, all in less than 20 mins! tl;dr - quick, efficient, good price, open late. My wife stopped to get a flat fixed today after woeking a 12 hr shift. The guy found a screw on it and patched. She keft the business and started to notice that the tire pressure was going down. She was already halfway home and had tonstop to get air. When I met her at the gastation, we poured water on it and the tire had not been mounted right. I called them and they said to bring it back to see what could be done. I told them I wanted a refund and they denied it. They said that it was on the reciept, there's nothing on the reciept that says that. The tire was fixed but they would not refund me after having to spend time and gas to bring it all the way back. This business is not getting my money ever again. I'll be disputing the fee through my bank. They don't care about the inconvenience or of having to spend time and money 2 times to get this fixed.
