He was so professional, friendly and helpful in explaining the condition of my less than a year old new car tires. By God's grace they were able to fix my tire without any charge. Such a blessing! Edward explained, without any pressure, their insurance policy they offer for my tires and how I would get a free tire and free labor saving a lot of money should I buy the insurance and be in need of a new tire in the future. Disappointed in this location to say the least! Never heard of a charge for "mounting" something ALREADY on the car that was supposed to have only been DISMOUNTED. Also charged for "dismounting" something that was NEVER THERE and was to be MOUNTED ONLY! Shouldn't be very complex making an invoice which should have been 1. Dismount (4) 16s plus spare 2. Mount (4) 19s plus spare 3. Swap TPM sensors I was essentially charged twice! Also I don't believe they even balanced my OEM setup that was put back on because that is more complex work and the allotted time should have been more. Yet they somehow expected me to believe that $248.00 justifies all that work that was done in about 20 minutes. Abel was a cool guy and was understanding of the situation when I explained to him how Darryl ripped me off but it was too late at that point. Josue, a senior member at their Spring location and who originally worked on my truck even said $248.00 was absurd. He said the cost should have been far less probably even free since I bought the tires that were taken off from Discount Tire which also included the extra cost for the warranties I purchased. read more

He checked all my tires and they were worn, I asked for a manual tool so I could see for myself, being skeptical as a lady in a car shop...and he was really gracious about it and found one and was right and I was in and out with a new set in under and hour. Stopped in to get a very slow leak repaired....leaking 1-2 psi every week or two. Young hispanic guy informs me if he "cant find" the leak, he will not put the tire back on and I will have to buy a new one from him "for my own safety" lol.....At least 15-20k miles of tread still on the tire. Wish I remembered his name. Might have to stop by there and get it so I can make him famous on the internet. This is NOT Discount Tire. It's Big D Tire. These guys do a great job for next to nothing. I got tires for our Infiniti FX35 and the dealership wanted $350 each for new, another used place wanted $100 each and these guys got me tires that looked brand new (75+% remaining tread) for $45 each. They were quick and friendly. Just make sure and check the tire over that it's what you are looking for as not all used tires are the same. read more

Amazing guys! Best $0 I've ever spent! I had a nail in my tire and they said it was in a easy to fix spot and that it would cost nothing! They even threw in a free tire rotation! I assume they make it up on the back end with the tire cost but I will gladly go back even for my tire purchase in future deals. One other thing is they were very polite! Buyer Beware. I took my car in to get a flat fixed but they were quick to try and upsell me on a brand new 1k set of tires. According to the rep, my tire was not repairable and the rest of my tires needed replacing . Well, I went to get a second opinion at another tire shop and saw that the tire had 2 nails in it but definitely repairable. The other tire shop fixed it with no problem. I would give this place 6 stars if I could. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. I got a flat tire at 4:30pm. Got the donut on my truck and made it to Discount Tire at 5:30pm. Luke the manager was an awesome dude to work with. My other 3 tires were 1 tread away being balled. He gave me a great deal on a new set of all 4 tires which was probably $500 under typical retail prices. He also had me out the door by closing at 6:30pm. I'm in from out of town on business and drive my truck around all day. I thought this was going to be a 2 day fiasco and they solved me problem in an hour. Worth every penny. read more

I am sitting here in the lobby as I give all glory and praise to God for favor with Nick my sales associate. After sharing my wife's story of multiple bouts of cancer and my 14 months of unemployment Nick really had compassion on us and took care of me. Long story short, we had issues with our tires from the beginning that was pulling to the passenger side which caused the front tires to wear unevenly and the passenger side tire was completely bald on the outside. Ok so I went here about a month ago to get my tire fixed. They were so helpful and explained to me that my tires had a special key. I have never owned a car that needed a key for the tires so I was baffled by this. They not only patched my tire but also allowed my daughters to take pictures with the tires. I went to get the air in my tires checked today and was asked by one of the employees to pull out of line and go to the back of it because the person behind me complained that I cut in line ahead of them. (I did not. They were parked a ways back looking down at their phone.) As a matter of fact, there was so much space between myself and the car that claimed to be in line that I had room to swing my Dodge Charger all the way around in a circle to get in the line. Even if the person behind me had been in line which given the distance away that he was parked, I doubt, I didn't appreciate that I was asked to get in the back of the line because someone else wasn't paying attention. That's like going to a restaurant and being put on a long wait list and then being seated because the party in line ahead of you didn't come after being called several times and then the waiter asking you to get up from your table and go back to the lobby to wait because the late party just realized they missed their train. But when that time comes, you want the experience to go as smoothly as possible. And Discount Tires (or maybe Big D Tires?, according to Eric C) is always my go-to tire stop. The staff is friendly enough, but more importantly their speedy. You can enjoy a complimentary bottled water and coffee while waiting no longer than 30 minutes for a brand new set of tires. Another perk I enjoy is the service as they aren't intimidating with their car knowledge. Never did I feel out of place, because I didn't know every detail about auto mechanics. From what I vaguely know, the prices did seem very reasonable and they are great about following through and their warranties, discounts, and deals. Well, I've always said that whenever I get tires, it's going to most likely come from Discount tires. This experience was no different. First off, I got in my truck and was going to go to the store when I had the dreaded "non-conventional) sound come from your car. What the heck?! At first, I thought the rear brakes had locked up but it was a flat tire, of course. What made it worse was that I think I might have had that tire slashed. It was a pretty clean cut on the sidewall right in the middle between the tread and the rim. But I diverge. I get on the internets and start checking out tire prices. Luckily this is one of the tires I didn't just buy last year. It's an older tire, but it still has a lot of life left in it. I'm pretty bummed. I go to this Discount tire and they hook me up. I wanted a matching Hankook tire but they don't have it in stock. Instead they have the Kumho. It's a better tire for $4 more. I ask if they'll price match the tire to the Hankook and they say yes. They also convince me to get the tire replacement certificates. He says, "If you get the certificates, I'll knock it down to $7. That's a great deal. I struggle with it and finally give in. I drop off the old wheel with him and tell him I'll be back after I run some errands. When I return, the tire is ready, they load it up and off I go. Later, when I get home, I notice that he charged me $11 for the certificate. *sigh*. Of course, you never expect them to over charge you but they did. It's partly my fault for not checking him. *double sigh*. I'll probably drop by later this week and see if they can refund me the difference. Maybe I"ll try and get the whole replacement certificate cost back completely. I'm rethinking my decision. Never gotten them before. Otherwise, the service was great. Probably one of the better experiences I've had with Discount. read more
