I've been a Discount Tire customer for 12 years, and this was a very disappointing experience. When I arrived, I was barely greeted and felt completely overlooked. I was on my way to my daughter's first ear piercing when I got a flat tire, which caused me to miss the appointment with my wife and daughter. When I arrived at the store, I explained that my tire still had air (around 20 PSI) but was slowly losing pressure, so I felt a sense of urgency. I asked the store manager for help, and he told me it would be "just one minute," but I ended up waiting 10-15 minutes with no acknowledgment or update. If I hadn't been in a desperate situation, I would have gone elsewhere. Unfortunately, this experience has led me to decide to switch tire companies moving forward. read more

Don't go here if you want your tire repaired it's always "too close to the rim it must be replaced"! I've had two tires repaired at another shop and have no problem with them going flat. My daughter just spent an 1 1/2 hour wait for the rep to tell her the same. I inspected the tire before she went and the nail in it was just "off center" slightly. They advertise a "free flat repair" service which is BS go pay the $20 at a local shop and don't waste your time @ Discount Tire. read more

I arrived right when the shop opened on a Wednesday and there were already a handful of people being helped. While I waited to talk to someone, each Discount Tire employee that walked by greeted me and said that they would be with me shortly. I spoke with Eduardo and explained that I was just looking for a tire rotation. He went to the car with me and checked all the tires and explained their general tread health before taking the car to work on. While waiting, another employee came up to me and provided an update on where my car was at in the service process. The team worked quickly and got me out ahead of their original projected wait time. Trash experience here!!!! Got here and was told it was a 3 hour wait.... I am literally watching them sing and dance and play around like they are doing a high school musical the service on the inside was decent but the mechanics fixing the tires we're playing too much instead of fixing tires. This was the worst service ever. They also don't really give discounts on tires. I took my Audi Q5 to Discount tire because my rear passenger tire kept losing air. They checked it and found a piece of metal in it and it couldn't be repaired. They then told me I would have to replace all four tires and it would be $1800 and that was before road hazard, the tires have 9400 miles on them. I told him he there was no way I needed 4 tires but he said because it's AWD I would have to get all four. I said I would take it to the dealership, he said they would be more expensive. I took it to my dealership and found out we could replace only one tire because the other tires weren't worn very much and they were cheaper. DON'T TRUST THEM. I will never go back there, we have 7 cars that we have always taken there for tires but won't ever go back read more

I never advise anyone to contact these scammers. they will brazenly deceive you in order to sell you unnecessary goods in order to make money from you. in my situation, the workers told me that I needed a replacement rim, and that my old one could not be repaired Before making the purchase, I asked if it would be possible to return the rim if it turned out that my old rim could be repaired, to which I was answered - "yes, within 30 days." I fixed my old rim. in the end, they refused to give me a refund and pretended that they didn't say anything and couldn't do anything. I spent $425 on something I didn't need. They blatantly lied to me that my old rim could not be repaired, and they lied to me that I would have a warranty. They made money from me and that's all they care about. read more

Adrian did a fantastic job of getting my 2 tires replaced after some road damage. I always try and track down where he works because I always get a straight answer from him as well as the right thing done. Not so much from other locations (and that is putting it mildly). In fact, I drove 27 miles past 9 other DT locations (3 of which I have personally visited in the past and have had people try and rip me off at) to get to his location. Typically I absolutely dread going to any Discount Tire in fear of being told that all of my tires that are not bald are bald and need replacement. Also, the treacherous waiting times. Just, ugh!! Welp! Today was different for me. This is my first time to come to this location and it was a breeze!! In and out in less than an hour. Note that I went on a weekday around 11:45am. I told the employee why I was there which was to change out a tire that had a plug in it that I believed was setting off my TPS sensor and scaring me. We ended up changing the front two tires for good reason. I could have sworn he was going to come back and tell me that I needed to change all four (when I know I don't) because of past experiences at other locations. Nope!! Consistency in service. This is why I return here. Never had a bad experience in 10 years. This store is also in my neighborhood so location is a bonus. I'm on my third used car in the last 10 years (would only be two had the second not been an unexpected lemon). I've always come to Discount Tire. The guys who wait on me are always courteous as are the service techs. Both guys at my last appointment held the door open for me. I don't care what anyone today thinks of that, I love it. Courtesy is lacking in society today, and when people treat you so respectfully, it's a major plus in my book! My last visit they found I had a nail in the tire, said they could patch that and it and one other tire are still good to use for some time yet. The other two needed replacing which I had already suspected. They patched the one, replaced the other two, rotated the first two, and did all of this in 25 minutes. Their website has times for appointments and an estimate of how busy each hour is. I chose what I thought looked to be a less busy hour, and it was. I stopped to get my daughters car tires inspected and found out she had a different tire on every rim!!. GaaaaaaaaaaaAaaaCCCCCCCCKKKKKKK! 6:15 PM and they had already closed. So as I was walking back to my daughters car the manager came out and was willing to get me taken care of by inspecting the tires as a courtesy which prompted me to immediately want to buy a complete new set of tires. There were willing and gracious and courteous to accommodate me even though it was after hours. It's winter time nasty weather you know rainy cold wet maybe some snow & ice soon. I bought my first set of tires at this location over 20 years ago and for decades they have had great service. 3 months ago I bought a new set of Cooper tires that were $200 a tire. At the suggestion of the manager I also purchased road hazard protection all 4 tires. This morning I had a blowout and did NOT hit anything in the road. The tow truck driver suggested that by his estimate the tire was defective. I concurred. I would have expected to get more than 3 months use out of the tires. The set of tires I purchased here before lasted only one year. STILL, they are trying to charge me and additional $51 fee for road hazard on a new tire. The assistant manager Matthew Aldridge was not helpful and another employee wanted to argue with me and place the blame on me without addressing the issue at hand. After waiting and watching people come in and get serviced before me when I was there first the assistant manager came up and asked me if my car was next. Really? He wants me to manage his shop? I have been to this discount tire a few times. The location is clean with plenty of seating. The customer service people are okay. They are nice but the communication is lacking. Each time I have been in I asked specific questions and they didn't answer them just went about making the fix to the tire or getting me a new tire. I don't have a problem with them fixing the tires but when they handed me the key they had already told me I needed to get a new tire but patched the other one and ushered me out. It was actually a bit strange. I think if they would have just talked to me after they found a nail in one and realized a second one needed to be replaced everything could have been done at once. They are definitely making an attempt at good customer service. Overall I like the chain discount tires and I have had better service at other locations. I love that they patch the tires for free, balance and rotate for free. Definitely give them a try. read more

Not impressed with this location, walked in with a flat tire and immediately was treated like a woman who didn't know anything about tires. Was told I needed all new tires, mine aren't even a year old so I knew that was not the case. Then was told that they couldn't patch my tire due to the puncture being too deep, this was without them even taking the tire off to exam. Drove to NTB, they removed the tire from the rim to discover a very small puncture from the blade. read more
