I brought my 2020 Silverado here for a **"Transmission Hot - Idle Engine"** warning and transmission overheating. I trusted this shop based on their reviews and expected they would diagnose and fix that specific problem. On the first visit, they replaced the alternator and water pump for about \$2,500. I was told the issue was fixed, but when I picked up the truck the same transmission warning and symptoms were still there. On the second visit, they then told me the actual fix for the warning was to replace the transmission cooler bypass valve (transmission thermostat) and quoted another \$417 ,at minimum, for that repair alone (more with a transmission service). To me, that means the original issue was not correctly diagnosed the first time, and I was asked to pay significantly more money to finally address the concern I came in with. They did not offer any meaningful adjustment or goodwill on the original \$2,500 bill, even though the first round of repairs did not resolve my stated problem. The parts they replaced may have had issues, but they were not what I brought the vehicle in for, and I didn't feel they took accountability for that misdiagnosis. I understand shops can't fix what they can't duplicate, but in my case I left feeling like I paid a lot of money without getting the transmission problem resolved and without the level of accountability I expected from their reviews. read more

This shop was amazing. My a/c went out last night; I only had today to get it fixed before my Mom arrived at DFW in the afternoon as I didn't want her to suffer the heat without it. 3 stars because i never got the work done here, so not sure how they are as far as that goes. Can't provide quotes without bringing the car in. I ended up w several other quotes over the phone simply by providing the vin # and the basic PM services needed. I asked "are you sure you need to see the car for things like replacing the rotors and pads? front struts? rear shocks/ yep still need to see it lol i had my vin ready etc. really weird as I was ready to choose a place and pay for the services right away....but who can drop their car off for a quote? I get it if I "don't know whats wrong with the car" of course I'd havce to bring it in....but a charge for replacing the shocks? etc? very weird read more

My handbrake died on my Tahoe and I had my vehicle towed to Major Automotive in Plano. John did a full inspection of my Chevy and had it fixed and delivered to my home the next day. I appreciate so much how straight forward they are with me whenever I bring my car there. They give me a full assessment of the condition of my Tahoe and told me what made sense to repair. I no longer go to the Chevy dealer because I do not trust their "recommendations". I have a 2018 Ford Fusion, and the infotainment system died on me! It's really weird driving around in a silent car!!! I took it to the dealership and while they were happy to fix it for me; they told me they were running almost two weeks behind, so they would need to keep my car the entire time.....and they had no loaners, oh yeah and they wanted to charge me $1500 for the privilege! I found these guys here on Yelp, so I took it into them and they ordered the part for me; let me keep my car in the meantime; and charged me half of what Ford were gonna charge. The process was so smooth and the actual procedure only took 2 hours max, easy peasy. Turns out they can do just about everything you could ever need for your car; so it's now my go to place. They are nice people too, I really enjoyed chatting with them whenever I went in, and they are so helpful, kept me updated throughout the week when I was waiting on the part coming in.
