This is to recognize Robert McGullam for his great work yesterday. I had the most wonderful experience yesterday when I took my 2022 Mercedes Benz GLE 350 in for a front sensor replacement. Robert was fantastic with his diagnostic skills in evalation of my problem. This work at European Auto has been the best investment of my time and energy in a very long time. I have now decided to keep my Mercedes Benz instead of trading it in. The unnecessary beeping was driving me and my family crazy. Robert fixed it in less than an hour and I was on my way. Another reason I was so impressed was that he also found a front disc brake problem that another repair shop had not installed properly and potentially could have been an accident waiting to happen. I am most grateful to Robert McGullam. and his assistant Bryan Garcia for that repairs. OMG. Next week I am scheduling my Mercedes in for an oil change and service level B. Can't wait to see my new friends again. Sincerely Chuck Thomas. A very satisfied Customer. read more

I used to think these people were trustworthy. I think they did me wrong and charged me to fix something that didn't need fixing. Don't recommend anymore. read more

My auto has been in this shop since mid October 2024. I never hear from the manager or auto repair representative. If I want to talk to him about when my auto will be ready, I have to call him. This is ridiculous. Prior to having the auto at this location for this business, the sister location on Tracy Street had my auto from August 1, 2024 until mid October when I went to pick up it would not start. They only "said they replaced the alternator". Did they, I do not know. They charged me $1,600.00 for this and the auto would not start. I left it for further repairs to get it started and they called me and wanted to bill me for charges to tow to Dallas European Auto in Plano, where it still remains since October 15, 2024. You tell me. Is this good automotive service? read more

Prompt service experienced mechanics. Easy appointments and great customer service!! Can't beat their prices!!!

So easy to work with and we used our Carvana Care / warranty and didn't have to worry about a thing. They kept us up to date via telephone and did not hassle us. Just took care of the issue. I would do 5 stars but shortly after went to get an oil change and a cover that is usually screwed us not screwed but loosely laying on top of the air filter area under the hood. The oil change place used zip ties and the air filter may needing replacing sooner since it was exposed to all elements read more

Have had my Mercedes C300 services done here a few times. The turnaround is usually quite fast, and the team here is professional. It's hard to find mechanics that do good work while doesn't try to charge you an arm and an leg. So would 100% recommending coming here if you have a Mercedes. read more

I've previously reviewed Dallas European and gave them 5 stars in 2017. This is the only shop I take my vehicle to. My battery ran low recently and when I popped the hood, I noticed that my Mercedes logo had been pried off and is missing. Ugh! It's minor but aggravating that now makes me wonder what else they are up to. This place has run down since Norm left and it's a shame. They don't keep schedules, my husband's vehicle was started on the 3rd day even though we had an appointment. I'm also noticing several recent good reviews which tells me they are giving incentives for reviews. It's a shame that this is what DEA has become. We are looking elsewhere for my family's servicing needs. read more

I looked up this place for my boyfriend who drives an Audi, they treated him nicely when he comes in and are a bit transparent with his car, but they are a bit pricey. Don't come her unless your willing to spend a thousands on repairs. I took my car in, a Mustang, and they didn't want to even take a loot at it . It took them two weeks just to replace on battery. They told me it was best to sell it even though it had a brand new motor & just need some small repairs. They didn't even to quote me and said I should throw the car away. I took it to another car shop & they fixed my repairs under $900 This car shop only cares about the value of the car only "foreign" cars and to overprice clients that look like they have the money, as far as "normal cars" don't think to come near here. I had really high expectations since I've gone here a lot but they disappointed me when they basically viewed my car as trash. Mind this it's valued at $19,000+ read more

Absolutely an amazing experience. They quoted what they were going to do. They did what they quoted. And they did it 3 days faster! Price was great. The communication terrific and I would highly recommend them. read more

I strongly recommend this auto repair shop. They have been trustworthy and honest regarding needed repairs and I have much appreciated that after the dealer tried to up-charge me unnecessarily. read more

We were loyal customers until recently. This business is going down fast. Over estimating the repairs is the norm, extremely poor scheduling, and diagnostics. Their qualified mechanics have all left. The owner is not overseeing the business and the manager (Cesar) is ripping people off. Looks like they are spending a lot of money on fraudulent reviews. read more

I've been using Dallas European Auto for my car needs for over a year. They are FANTASTIC and their customer service is top notch!!!!! Norm and Amir are professional, knowledgeable, and friendly during each visit! I can't say enough great things about this shop and their entire staff! After you've been to Dallas European 1 TIME, you'll wonder why you ever went to any other service center. Seriously, no price gouging, honestly, and exceptionally trained technicians. The owners are, o.k. too. Never fear your service history will be lost at Dallas European. They update all of the factory databases after they service your car so all of their service shows up at any factory service center, worldwide. read more

I have a 2008 Jaguar XK. Yesterday, Dallas European Auto replaced a hydraulic pump that allowed my convertible top to work again. Dealer cost was over $10,000 where as Dallas European Auto quoted a finished price less than 1/5 the dealer. Still expensive, but reasonable considering the replacement pump was a majority of the cost. What is important to know is that the replacement pump was rebuilt to a higher standard than original and is not a low-end knockoff part. These guys, Amir and his trusted colleagues, are experienced, high-touch, and professional. The car you love will be in good hands! read more

I wanna start off by thanking Ryan for continually reassuring me through the whole process of fixing my car. I came into the shop frustrated but he outlined everything so well and kept me informed the whole time. They fixed my fuel pumps and gave me complimentary wash on the inside and outside. Service like this is hard to beat. Going back here anytime I need help with my car. read more

2013 Smart car service that was out of warranty. It was a common mechanical issue with my car at a certain mileage. Ryan knew exactly what it was & what to do to fix it. He explained the repair process and gave me a quote. Honestly.. It wasn't an easy repair job.. I knew this from the start. The Dallas European crew had my car ready in a few days and its running like a champ! I am always wary about getting service for my Smart car.. most mechanics say "take it to the dealer". I will not hesitate to visit Dallas European again! Professional, fair prices, courteous & knowledgable crew through and through. Highly recommend them! read more

I have a Smart car and have had trouble finding a mechanic - but now that I found Dallas European Auto I'm all set . They are professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. I've had my annual service and new brakes done recently. Both services were reasonably priced and the work was done well. Dallas European Auto isn't the closest mechanic but it's worth the drive. I'd recommend them to anyone. read more

Norm, Amir and the guys are absolutely amazing in their customer service and pricing! We've been taking all 5 of our vehicles there since 2012 and have recommended them to family and friends as well. Very honest, friendly, and helpful. I was referred here by a random lady at Whole Foods a few years ago when I had a Mazda. I took the car to City Garage, where they tried to "upsell" me with $1500 worth of unnecessary work. I finally found the card and have never regretted calling them if I have issues. The owner is very friendly, and confirmed that CG was trying to hose me. They fixed the problem for a reasonable price, and did it while I waited. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for honest, good mechanical work. read more

I have been taking my German cars to Dallas European Auto for the last couple of years. I have consistently had good service, honest conversations, and fair pricing. Recently I took my 2015 Porsche 911 GTS Cabriolet in for an oil change. A few weeks after the change, I noticed that the lowest "blade/rung" of the engine cover had inadvertently broken off during the service. I called the shop, and was worried that I was going to be left hanging with the repair bill(which exceeds $2K). I spoke to the owner Amir, and he was receptive, responsive, and gracious. He took care of the issue without giving me grief, and also fixed an A/C issue that had arisen. I can't speak highly enough of Amir and Dallas European Auto. I wish him continued success and will continue to be a client. read more

Highly recommended! I am very ignorant to say the least when it comes to cars but I have definitely learned my lesson after my Mini Cooper broke down on me last week. I jumped on yelp to find someone that wouldn't try to upsell much because I have had auto shops rip me off in the past most likely because it's obvious I have no idea what I am doing when it comes to cars. Norman recommended a tow company as soon as i called, gave me their number and I immediately had it taken in. They were all more than helpful, didn't make me feel like an idiot as some other repair shops almost always do AND they didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need. I love these guys! read more

I've taken my Jaguar to Norm twice, he's always so helpful and explains the issue(s) to a T! He has never tried to upsell me or gouge me in any way! I'll be needing my brakes done soon and plan to go to his shop rather than anywhere else!! He's really booked up and I can see why. You won't be disappointed here! I'll be back for sure and I've already told everyone I know about his shop. Very clean & honest operation, they've got 5 stars in my opinion and I've never given 5 starts to any establishment..... Just came here for my first time today and I must say I am very impressed! I am incredibly picky when it comes to fixing my car (ML 350) so I have always gotten everything done at the dealership. I went to the Mercedes dealership yesterday to get 3 light bulbs replaced and they wanted me to pay $189 which I thought was incredibly ridiculous considering the most expensive part was $17. So I asked a friend who has Mercedes where he goes, and he recommended Dallas European Auto. I called them this morning, and Amir told me to just drop on by anytime - no appointment needed to just replace bulbs. I go there right away because I was worried about a long wait. Once I get there, Amir greets me, takes my keys, and 30 minutes later brings back 4 old bulbs. So not only did he get the three replaced that I asked him to, he checked all the bulbs in my car and found another bulb that needed replacement too. He showed me the bulbs too for visual confirmation. I was happy to be on my way out and asked where I can pay, and his exact words were "Don't worry about it, I had the bulbs laying around so it wasn't a big deal." I at least wanted to pay the cost because I am taking away from their inventory, but he wouldn't let me which I thought was incredibly nice. I took 4 bulbs and labor time away and walked away not paying a dime. My Service B is due soon and I am definitely taking my car here. I'll update this once I get that service done! Thanks Amir!! read more

I don't write many reviews, but this place deserves it. Until now I have always done my work at the Land Rover dealership, because I didn't know who else to trust. Yet my experience at the dealership was pretty impersonal, inconvenient, and of course expensive. My warranty was up anyway, so I decided to make a change. I saw the reviews on Yelp for Dallas European Auto and gave them a shot. The guys who work there are master certified techs, specialized in foreign cars and they knew more about my Land Rover than anyone I've ever talk to--and that includes the dealership! They gave me great, practical advice. They didn't do any services that didn't need to be done and they charged me around HALF of what the dealership wanted to charge me for brake pad service. I would highly recommend them to anyone. Thanks again, Norm. read more

Quick, fair priced. Excellent quality work. They are honest and fair in evaluating and offering fair solutions.

Great shop. Good alternative to a dealership for excellent mechanical services at a lower price. Amir and his team are approachable, patient and friendly. I paid just under $300 for my Service B in September 2015. I have a MB C300. They are highly knowledgeable about the cars. I have called them a few times with questions to troubleshoot what might be wrong and they always take the time to explain what the issue might be over the phone. Only perk of a dealership is the loaner car, car wash and a 5 star waiting room. read more

I first found Dallas European Auto on Google when I was researching certified RENNTech installers. I started using them for my Mercedes Benz service maintenance for over a year until this year when I had them install a RENNTech R1 performance package on my E63 AMG. Cesar Martinez was professional, knowledgeable, and friendly every time I visited with him while deciding exactly what RENNTech performance items I wanted to install. I can't say enough great things about this shop and their entire staff. They effortlessly go out of their way to make you feel comfortable with the service being performed on your vehicle. These guys are the real thing, real car enthusiasts. Great customer service at a very fair price, you just can't beat that. I was pleasantly surprised when the final bill wasn't as much as I thought I would have to spend for my RENNTech tune. I would definitely strongly recommend Dallas European Auto to anybody looking for highly trained, professional mechanics to work on their prized auto. You won't be disappointed. read more
