Made a significant mileage input error during an oil service. The car had approximately 54,000 miles, but was incorrectly reported to Carfax as 96,000 miles. This has created a major discrepancy on the vehicle history report, directly impacting resale value and credibility. I contacted the shop multiple times requesting a correction. Despite being told it would be addressed, no action was taken. Follow-up attempts were ignored, and the manager refused to speak with me directly regarding the issue. This is not a minor clerical mistake this is a serious reporting error that affects the financial value of a customer's vehicle. Been coming to Tommys for a few years now, always have a great experience. Took my vehicle to a different repair shop as they were running a special for a B service. I was having a noise in the front on my car that I told this shop about and agreed to let them look into it. Well long story short, a few thousand dollars later the issue still was there. Took it back to Tommy's and they were able to diagnose the noise, get me into a loaner and finish the repair in a couple of days. Should have brought it here originally but lesson learned! Overpriced repair shop. Tries to make me spend over $1000 for a $40 part on amazon I purchased and fixed myself. Don't bring a European car to this shop they are only in it for the money. I've had an issue with them and returned the car 3x and still smoking out vents after being told "drive it for another two days it'll burn off smoke" haha and now it's jerking which it wasn't at first. Being told "idk what's the problem until you bring it back" as if I didn't take it 3x already . Horrible and 5k down the drain with these frauds! I brought my car in to diagnose no sound coming from the right side speakers. They replaced the amplifier and all was well. The next day, I noticed the speaker casing has cracked. It is obvious they broke it and did not say anything about it. My car is in mint condition and it is impossible to NOT notice this. If they would do this with something so small, no doubt they would pawn off their mistakes on an even larger issue. Very dishonest people, I would not recommend. read more

Not a shop that you can trust. I had my car towed here to have an alternator replaced. I received a call when it was done and now I needed a compressor for the air shock. Not an expense covered by my warranty. Approved the expense and picked up my car. After driving the car for a couple of days the warning light came on and now my air shocks needs to be replaced. I spoke with Mick, but in his condescending manner, told me everything was working when I picked up the car and I would have to bring it back so they could look at it. After thinking about it I decided to take my car to a repair shop I could trust. Needless to say, it was not Tommy's. read more

Took my car in to diagnose an issue with my steering. A lot of shops will just look at the problem, diagnose it and charge you a fee. But they actually did a bumper to bumper check on my car and gave me report with suggested repairs. read more

Took my car to get windshield wiper malfunction repaired, will not turn off. Asked to clear codes since I had been checking fuses and caused some codes to come on. They ran full diagnostics and full suspension, cooling system, leaks, you name it diagnostics and told me I had serious electrical issues mainly and a coolant leak and more. The car is 20 years old, enough said. I just wanted the wipers fixed. I checked the fuses and relay replaced and that did not fix the problem. I asked them to check the switch but was told it might not fix the problem so we agreed I would just pick up the car. Major waste of time. Also, when k dropped the car off on a Thursday was told they would get back on Monday. Nope. No call no text. So the car sat from Thursday to Wednesday. I would normally eat the waste of time but that coolant leak. The car DID NOT HAVE A LEAK when I dropped it off! BUT IT DOES NOW AND A BAD ONE. MY GARAGE WAS FLOODED AFTER I PULLED HOME. DO MOT TRUST THESE GUYS!!!! They didn't even try to clear the codes. All they did was do a tire vehicle check and CAUSED MY COOLANT LEAK,GREEEAT!!! THEY ACTUALLY DAMAGED THE CAR!!!!!!​​​ read more

In my review of Tommy's European in Plano, Texas, I contacted them about my car not starting and a code appearing. I asked if they could fix it, and they said they would try. The initial cost for a diagnostic was $700, which I agreed to. After the diagnosis, they were confident it was the car's CPU and quoted $1000 for the repair, to which I also agreed. However, two weeks later, I received another call stating that the replacement CPU had also burned out, requiring an additional $1000. It has now been a month and my car is still not working. When I visited their lot, I saw countless wires exposed. Instead of telling me that he couldn't fix my car, the manager provided me with a loaner for a week. After a month and a half of them having my car and it still not being fixed, they contacted me demanding $2700. However, descending to 2200 made the overall experience terrible. I covered the 2,200. One month later, I visited Mercedes Benz of Plano. The diagnostic cost $198 and they were able to identify all the issues with the car in less than a week. It turned out to be just the battery and a fuse that needed to be replaced, with a total cost of $1,945. I would not recommend going to this place as they seem to be inexperienced and untrustworthy.
