This is the first time ever I leave a negative review since I believe everybody makes mistakes!! Two years ago a go I had a car accident and found this business through yelp. Upon arrival I was greeted and we agreed that with $ 5000 my car will be fixed and didn't bargain regarding pricing at all. After two week the car was ready and before accepting the job I did check the car and I see the engine light of the car is on!!? The owner which has no clue and history of running a business as mechanic shop tells me that don't worry I know people who can pass your car through inspection!!!! I said noooo!! This is not the way it works. We make a deal I have paid you what you asked I this needs to be fixed. He said that my mechanic say the issue is not related to you radiator fan and etc .. that you brought your car for!! And the added extra charge for changing the O2 sensor , after two weeks I noticed there is an oil leak under my car in the parking lot garage, and took the car back, owner says it not related to your accident that oil filter leaks, which all were related because my radiator was punctured, well there it is another charge for oil filter washerin two week so have to bring the car back because the temperature gauge is above normal!! He too much rely on his mechanic since he purchased the business from previous owner with the mechanic and he wants to keep the mechanic for this reason against my workweek another charge for oil filter washer also my head lights which were replaced had too much blind spot and whatever they to fix I t failed and I did accept. After another two week that started to make a squeaky noise which I had to have the mechanic to listen when I was moving the car when was Turner off , and found out when were the front bumper and radiator the did not secure the battery harness when fixing the front of the car. Making the story short with all the problems with paining and more the going back to the shop after 12 times to the shop even on time which the owner told the mechanic to check my vehicle and he said he can't because he didn't like me since I was making the right comments!! I did gave it way even the owner Ray made a comment the he will buy me a complimentary gift so I forget all the issues that happened. The assistant manager (Ashton) is well aware of all pain and suffering that I have been through. I did thank them and refused to ask for any thing. The last word of the owner was that I knew that you were trouble from the beginning (I wish people who runs a business had a clue what they are getting in). So so today after two years I just wanted how respectful they are and I had a problem with my other car, called the owner and he said I don't have time this week (we are fully booked)and I since it's not and urgent matter it can want for next week and he never responded back.. First and foremost. Don't fall for this shops reviews they are NOT all real because the owner gives little discount so, people give 5 stars. I brought my car in for a coolant leak that was initially minor and gradual. The mechanic diagnosed it as a radiator issue. I specifically asked if the hoses and other components were checked, but I was told the radiator needed replacement. I trusted the diagnosis and paid for the repair. About four weeks later, while driving, all of my coolant suddenly leaked out, which led to severe engine damage. This was far worse than the original issue and could have been prevented with a proper inspection and accurate diagnosis. This experience cost me a significant amount of money and stress. I strongly recommend getting a second opinion before trusting this shop with your vehicle--especially if you own a German car. These people charged me $2,000 dollars and told me my car was completed they took payment then told me my car wouldn't start I'll need to jump it to get it home. This time, my vehicle was completely misdiagnosed (the mechanic didn't even drive it to hear the issue before diagnosing), the owner berated me for buying my inferior parts from Auto Zone, and they wasted 4 hours of my time fixing a problem that wasn't a problem. My money has been refunded, my old part put back in, and I'm headed to Auto Zone to get a refund on my "inferior part". Went in to get my Aura RDX A-Spec 2021 checked because of the rear brakes "squealing" when putting it in reverse. We did not make an appointment, came here around 9:30am on a Thursday. We chose this place after reviewing the company's great reviews on Yelp. They took care of us right away and checked the rear brakes. They were only at 50% but some "glazing" on the brake was causing the noise - mostly when the brakes are not heated up. The team was friendly and professional. The cost to replace the rear brake pads was $68.99, the labor was $139, and the cost to inspect the vehicle initially was $70. Total cost out the door $214.67. We chose to wait until the work was done. It was roughly 2 hours. Based on this experience and consistent and positive reviews . . . we will definitely consider them for any future visits. read more

Really sad to post that this is no longer my go-to mechanic. I've been coming here for years and thought they had always acted with integrity, so I didn't bother to call around when they gave me a high quote for some work (for reference, replacing one coil and four spark plugs on a Mitsubishi outlander for $480). It wasn't until I was talking to others that I felt like maybe they were overcharging me. When I can to pick up the car, I expressed this concern and Ashton was very kind and said if I got a better price, they would beat it. I got 3 other quotes, one for $550, one for $350 and one for under $350. When I showed them this, another person (young white male) became very combative, and said that they don't work for free, suggested that I wasn't actually a repeat customer. I'm just going to say that he probably shouldn't be the person in the company facing customers. He was rude, did not try to deescalate or build trust. I mean honestly, at that point he could have said that their prices are a little higher than their competitors because it's really important to keep their good mechanics. They could have said that their prices for their products are higher to reflect higher quality that comes with a warranty. He could have said that they believe it's a fair price, but to keep me as a loyal customer they were willing to give me a discount. They didn't. They did knock it down to $420, but the whole experience was pretty negative. Things that would help: - if you're going to charge a service fee even when we DO choose for you to complete the service, then you should say that up front. "If you decide to go somewhere else, we will charge you $140 to look at your vehicle and diagnose the problem, and if you decide to have us fix it, we will still charge you a reduced rate of $70" -charge a diagnostic fee that matches how much time you actually spend on the diagnosing. When I called with the symptoms, you already diagnosed it as probably coils and/or spark plugs. I don't know anything about cars, but others have said that it takes maybe 10 minutes to check. $70 for 10 minutes is pretty steep. Why isn't that just added to the labor of the work? -maybe keep the white guy in an office where he doesn't need to interact with customers. What a disaster. Of course, looking at other reviews, they will probably come back on and continue to argue this ‍ That's fine-- you've already lost a customer. read more

I had an AC issue with my 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee during the intense heatwave in Dallas in June. I initially dropped my vehicle off at another shop to get the AC issue diagnosed and was quoted $2700 to replace the evap core. I did the prudent thing after being quoted $2700 and stopped by Auto Clinique to get a second quote. They quoted me just under $1500 for the same work. It gets better! The folks at Auto Clinique suggested I recharge my AC, and while they're at it, they'd put a die in to spot the leak the next time I came around if the issue persisted. I brought my Jeep back about 2.5 weeks later with zero charge and got the best news I've ever received from any auto shop. "It'll be $33 for 2 Shrader valves and the modest cost of labor, Mr. Kim." It turns out the valves were leaking pretty good due to a lousy O-ring at the valves. And they filled up the pricey environmentally-friendly free of charge a 2nd time since it had been less than a month since the initial charge. While this was my first visit to Auto Clinique, I'm impressed with the level of service, quality of diagnostics, and straightforwardness of the folks there. Now I can't help but question the integrity of the other shop I entrusted to take care of me. I rarely questioned their suggestions, but now I have this pit in my stomach because I can't help but wonder whether they've been honest with their past recommendations. Terrible quality work. Not sure why the reviews are so good. I took in my Lexus GX 470 to this shop to get my oil pan gasket replaced and resealed. Shortly after, I did a full inspection at Toyota of Richardson and they told me the oil pan was still leaking, and you can see the quality of the reseal Auto Clinique did from the attached photo. I ended up paying twice to get the work redone at Toyota of Richardson. When I spoke to the manager he said I should have brought it in so they could've done a warranty claim. Take a look at the photo. This isn't a warranty issue, it's just sloppy work. I will start with the fact that I have taken VERY good care of my vehicle since I purchased new in 2008. My first set of brake pads and rotors lasted me 11 years. When I took my vehicle to get new rotors and brake pads it was a nightmare, but I thought I would give them the benefit of the doubt. However, when I left with a loose bolt in the right rear rotor and a zip tie used to hold it in place, I was in shock. The technician said that he didn't have enough pins and so he used a zip tie. He said he was going to tell me that he had to order some the next day. Lets fast forward to the latest escapade, to give them a second chance with a different mechanic. I left after having work done on rear differential seal in the left rear and was told that i would have to replace both rear brake pads and rotors again so they would match in their wearing. This was also done incorrectly. I know that everything was done incorrectly because I took my vehicle for its annual tune up and when the real mechanic got it up on the lift I was shown that I had no rotors left, they had used after market parts, and I paid for OEM. They had stripped all bolts associated with the rotors and my e-brake. Long story short, they did a horrible job and they lied about the parts they were using. In addition, due to using after market brake pads, they would not fit my vehicles shims, so they just threw them away I guess!! because they are no longer on my vehicle. I called to speak to the manager and let him know what had been discovered and he said he was "confused". They only have a year guarantee on their work so why am I calling. I guess he is not worried because he already has my money. And now I'm looking down the barrel of 4500 dollars in repair work for to correct their absolute scam of a job. Horrible. And to top it off I had been using them since 2014. So sad that it has turned into such an unreliable shop. read more

Brought my car in for a side mirror repair and they returned my car with a completely flat tire!!!! There was a HUGE bolt and I was at almost a complete flat when I came in to pick up my suv. I demanded they at least patch up the hole in my 22in tire but they refused to replace it. My tires are in the $300s so I'm super pissed. I have diagnostic proof that this happened then and there and they also inspected my tires prior to service and there was no doubt that the damage incurred in their shop. They found a lot of hidden issues that would have cost me thousands of repair costs as well as damage that wasn't reported on the Carfax. Don't buy a used car without a PPI. If I could leave zero stars, I would. When I first called this company I let them know what was going on with my car and asked if it was OK for me to bring it in After work since it'll be the time that a lot of shops are closing. They said sure. They took a look at it and then told me that the AC discharge hose was leaking and needs to be replaced. The person who looked at my car proceeded to tell me that he added Freon so it should last about two weeks before it runs out again. Mind you, between & before this there were charges or prices specified advising what the charge would be for any of the services or that there will be diagnostic fee. I understand that these fees normally come with mechanic shops, However, Normal companies within integrity let you know In some type of way what the fees are before they provide any type of service on your car that That you will be charged for. This company took it upon itself to do What they wanted, And expected you to pay whatever price they put out there afterwards. Then the man who actually looked at my car attempted to talk to me like I was an idiot saying "well Freon isn't free". Of course dummy! A think even a teenager would know this, but tell me what you'll be charging before providing any service that comes at a price. This is also common sense! I don't care whose responsibility it was to tell me what the pricing was. The way that I see it is the whole shop was at fault. The only reason I came to the shop is because it was close to my job but for all this I could've just waited and went to my own personal mechanic and got the job done Way lower for what they were charging Which is exactly what I ended up doing.
