NEVER TAKE YOUR CAR TO THIS SHOP FOR REPAIR! On December 20,2024 I was involved in a minor accident on the Tollway. The right rear panel and rear passenger door were damaged. The car was easily driveable however a tow truck appeared and offered to take my car to the nearest collision center which was Xtreme Collision. It was not a preferred shop for State Farm Insurance but I was reassured by both the shop and State Farm that this was not unusual and the repairs could be done there. I thought it would be a 6 week project and all would be well. Week after week ,month after month I was told it was progressing. I finally went down to the shop and was shocked to see that they had completely dismantled my car, replacing parts that were not damaged in the accident. The car was leased, only three years old , low milage and high residual value. I was told that dismantling of my car was necessary in order to paint it appropriately. Soon my allotted rental car appropriation had been exhausted and I was then renting from Enterprise at my own expense. The lease on my damaged car was up at the end of April and then I was paying daily lease on the car in the shop since I had no car to return at the lease end. In late May the shop still was unable to complete the work and State Farm decided to declare the car a total loss and cut their losses with the shop. The shop would have received several thousand more if they had finished the job. The fact that they decided to accept the lesser payment for a total loss suggests that they were unable to finish the job. I believe that this shop is dishonest, deceptive and incompetent. They did way more on my car than necessary in order to gain more payment from the insurance company. In the end they had taken it apart and were too incompetent to put it back together again. I had a 4000 dollar rental from Enterprise because I was without a car for over 5 months . I had continued lease liability on the car in the shop because I could not turn it in on time. Disappointing Service\Management. Experience our situation in real time We took our car in for repairs from a minor accident on 22NOV2024 but have been stuck in processing purgatory by their staff. The car has been fully repaired since end of the year with authorizations from Statefarm for ~$5100. We have since discovered that Xtreme has actually performed approximately $11,900 worth of repairs which is more than the ACV of the vehicle. For context, the other car which hit us sustained less than $1000 worth of damage. Statefarm originally assessed the repairs at $1800 and then up to $5100 after supplements denying all other invoices they sent in. For what is a minor collision, we are in danger of a total loss claim. communication: they have told us the car would be ready for pick up since before xmas. They actually used the same excuse twice saying it is "in for calibration today". Can't be in there twice over a 1 week period. Questionable practices: They executed repairs for twice what Statefarm authorized and submitted requests to them weeks after the car was fixed. What they are claiming they fixed is more than the car is worth. This seems like mismanaged repairs. unnecessary delays: no action after 4 days that we visited, no return calls they promised, no responses to emails. Most of these processes are not monitored by the car owners as we're just happy the work is done and insurance pays but let this be a lesson to all that you should. IF Xtreme continues to file claims for exorbitant repairs, you run the risk of your vehicle being totaled. Our situation reeks of inflated repair costs to maximize insurance reimbursements and most notably, repairs WAY beyond what insurance approved. In the mean time, we'll have to sit on the side lines watching this situation unfold with insurance and apparently, drive up there in person to get any updates. Mind this process if you have a vehicle in repairs now. Drive somewhere else if youre thinking about repairs. I've included screen shots of the email I've sent them which details out the situation and their lack of response. We are the Lexus, car that hit us is the Civic. You be the judge of how that's $12K of damage and even if so, why you would invest that much to fix a car that only has an Actual Cash Value of $12,500. Someone bumped into my car which caused my grill to crack. I looked around trying to find a reputable place that did great work but was finding places that either charged to much or I didn't feel ok with their work. I ended up finding this location and was excited that it's a certified location. Brock was amazing, he explained the process, showed me different estimates of what to expect and just overall made the experience great. This time when a guy backed up into my parked SUV I knew exactly who to tell the insurance company I wanted to use. Outstanding service again! Did not disappoint! If I could give them zero stars, I would. DO NOT TRUST THEM! Protect yourself and I would avoid them like the plague. I had a wreck and was self pay not using insurance for my older SUV. For nine days, they did not make look at my car and they made exuses for every call. They claimed they had to put insurance claims first. I told them to not do anything that cost money to me. But they did. On day ten they looked at my car and claim spent 8 hours with a mechanic taking it apart for 8 hours and they demaded I pay but could not print the bill with details. Their website says free estimates, and that is a lie. They claim they had a mechanic look at my car for 8 hours for $4900, and then they charged me and he repaired nothing and they charged me for storage for two weeks when they put insurance pays before me. When I went in they told me, I owed them $5900 and that was their "free estimate" and they told me they would put a lien on the car's title if I did not pay or give them my car. To be clear, they repaired nothing on the car and they did not even look at it until they had ten days and I had to call five times. Mark will not help you, and ask him spefciifc questions as he used terms like insurance is key to key so we postponed self pays... what does that mean when they are being paid... Do not use them. They refused to be reasonable and I fell they basically stole my car. The owner told me on my first visit his wife had a Yukon and then while I waited on him to pretend to talk to his boss, he told another customer that his wife had a electric Mazda. They gave me a small amount of cash for my car and said they would have given me $6900 for the value if they had not had to look at the bumper for 8 hours. Absolutely, do not trust them. They do not return calls, they claim they will call you the next day and then not call for five days until you follow up with them. Be aggressive and do not trust one word they say. Sadly they treated me with intimidation and fear and have perjorative attitude toward single women and refuse to think about the math of their demands. I f I had to do over, I would call the Carrollton police or sherriif to intervene on my behalf but they are scary and deo not care about heir clients. had full working electronics and they did not even look at for nine days. They are dishonest and when they refused to return calls and literally hung up on me because they were eating lunch. BEWARE~!!!! Do not use them. Worst shop ever. Could never in years fix my car correctly!! Avoid. Every time I would bring my vehicle for them to fix one thing - they would ruin another thing. Their paint work bubbles, is low-quality, and your vehicle will begin to peel. On top of that they will steal other items such as your lights and mess with your frion on purpose. Be careful here. When I first brought in my car my thinking was "If they can fix XTREME COLLISIONS" they can surely fix my small fender-bender but NOO they cannot. I drive 2 Mercedes and they have fixed both of them as some how bad drivers seem to LOVE to bump into me. Xtreme was nothing less than AMAZING and did work that the other insurance company did not approve or pay for just to make the car look right. The color I have is called Diamond White and I learned from Xtreme that it is a four part paint process and it takes a LOT of work. Xtreme did extra work so that they did not have to try to "Blend it in" on the drivers side where I got bumped. Hats off to Clayton and Mark for educating me and keeping me informed. I derped and got into my first accident ever since I started driving ten years ago. I had no idea where to go to get my car fixed up, so I followed the online reviews. The online ratings for this shop are indeed earned! My Ford Escape was 10 years old, the accident was my fault, and I didn't have collision coverage on it. Andrew tried his best to reduce the cost of parts wherever he could. One thing I read shady shops do is give you an estimate that's low but don't tell you they're going to use aftermarket parts. Well, that was not the case with Xtreme Collision Repair! In fact, they completely upfront and provided me an estimate with full OEM parts and walked me through the estimate so I could pick and choose which parts to substitute aftermarket on to save some cash. They diligently worked on my car and got it back to me quickly, even under these crazy coronavirus times! I haven't had a single issue with the repair job, and they'd even washed my car before I picked it up (ironically, I was going to a car wash when I crashed it haha)! I came across this place after looking for a "Honda ProFirst" certified body shop. It was important to me that anyone who worked on my car have that certification because I don't want any reason for Honda to void the remainder of my factory warranty. Unlike the Honda dealerships on the list of certified shops this place had a 5 star rating on Yelp which is why I chose it. I worked with Brock. Let me start by saying my situation was a bit complex for a couple reasons. First off I had two different insurance claims to deal with. Secondly, my vehicle is only a few months old and a TOTAL redesign from previous years so likely it was the first one they had dealt with. Brock was easy to work with and agreed with me about it being only right to only use Honda OEM parts. A huge issue was coming across these factory parts. Everything had to be ordered from Honda and several times that meant Brock had no other choice but to order the parts from several states away and wait for them to be delivered. Next came an issue with my parking sensors. They tried their best and the decision was made to ultimately send it to a Honda dealership due to the complexity of the situation. I have total respect for them realizing and admitting it was beyond their scope and sending it to the dealership. Even with all the setbacks I am very pleased with the work and customer service I received by both Brock and management. There are VERY few (if any) other body shops with 5 star ratings. I will definitely be back if for some unfortunate reason I need bodywork done in the future. read more

Their phone often does not have enough circuits hard to ge through. they do goo work but their tech is user hostile.

The work they did on my car was terrible they were supp to fix the hail damage on my car but when my car is clean you can still see where the hai damage was and they were supposed to replace the damaged stainless steel moldings fou of them but they didn't and the paint work was terrible also so on a scale of 1to 10 I'm giving them a 1 and to be honest with you they didn't really care about what kind of work they did or the way t treated me and they took 5 weeks to do the repairs so I had to pay out of my pocket for the extra 5 days it took them to repair my car sincerely Keith Watkins read more

I recently got into a mild accident that left quite a bit of damage to my Subaru. They did a great job getting the repair done and getting it done quickly. The gal at the front desk had wonderful customer service and was very helpful. The only downside was I asked for them to reach out to my insurance about something and was promised it would be done but they did not call. My car had two paint chips on it that I believe were from the wreck that they did not fix and claimed it was on my car when I arrived. There was no debating to be had about that which was extremely frustrating. Other than that it was quick and efficient which I appreciate. read more

Great place to get your car fixed up! Mark and his team really know what they're doing. They fixed up my rear and trunk in less than 2 weeks. There was one touch up that needed to be done after pickup but Mark made sure it was fixed. Super friendly, good wIth communication, and my parts have a lifetime warranty. Incompetence to the highest level. Their techs don't know what they're doing, their vendors didn't know what they were doing and apparently management doesn't either. My vehicle was sideswiped so had damage on the whole passenger side. Upon the first pick up, the car was pulling hard to the right, lo and behold the tire had NO PRESSURE. Missing a lug nut as well because oh, I'm an idiot that installs them with an impact and rounded off the threads. The vendor then decided to try and cut the stud down to usable threads using a dremel, failing and nicking up the inside of the rim they had just refinished. I opened the rear passenger door and part of the molding FELL OFF. They had broken it and tried to just leave it. They overbuffed and got my driver side headlight scuffed/fogged up. Part of the passenger door was also broken, causing the speaker to buzz like crazy. So basically damaged the vehicle more after repairing it. Takeback one: Return for them to replace stud on wheel, fix passenger door, redo finish on wheels that were damaged, replace mold pillar, put 3m stuff back on (the only thing that had to wait, for the paint to cure). They break the rear quarter glass in the process of replacing the molding and I get it back with no tint. They replace the stud but didn't refinish the wheels. I also now have a big white door ding on my driver side door and in the process of taking out the glass, they scratched the paint down to the metal that surrounds the glass. Wrong tool, perhaps? Takeback two: Return to tint, fix paint around window, buff out the headlight, fix the passenger door buzzing. They break the rear glass, again. Tech tells boss it's designed to break when you take it out......you can't make this stuff up. They can't get the glass, anywhere. Delay, delay delay. Finally get to pick it up and Ashley, the only one that seemed to be of any help at all in this, asks if I've looked at it. I take the keys, go look and lo and behold!!! They replaced and tinted the window but exactly nothing else. It was in their shop for WEEKS, just sitting while the repairs never got done. Those things could have been handled in probably just a few hours at a big shop like this but weren't. I took my car anyways, just done with all of it. I'll be able to fix it all minus the door ding, it's a pretty good one. read more

Absolute nightmare. My husband has gotten calls multiple times telling him the truck is ready. He then takes an Uber from half an hour away to find out just before they close that the truck actually is not ready. Absolutely no communication. They don't even seem like they care about the inconvenience. We got the truck back with window controls installed upside down and glass still in the seatbelt. We had to bring the truck back due to a part being back ordered (not their fault). Again the one day fix turned into a 3 day ordeal where my husband again took and Uber to find out the truck wasn't ready after all. They said they would make this up to him by detailing the truck. They called today saying "trucks ready but you'll have to bring it back to get it detailed." We live half an hour away so we aren't going to take them up on that offer. Then they tell us that when they tried to reinstall our babies car seat, the car seat broke. They have not confirmed yet if they will be writing us a check to cover the replacement of the car seat but I will update my review. We use progressive insurance and are new to the area. Progressive gave us a few options they prefer to work with and we chose Xtreme collision because it had pretty good reviews, even though it was further away than other options. I don't know if the good reviews are mostly before covid or if it's a different set of staff but this has been the worst experience I have ever had with any business. read more

After getting things situated after an accident, I researched & found a location that had some sort of contract with the policyholders insurance. Xtreme Collision had the best reviews so I decided to give them a visit. Customer Service: Upon walking in I expected to be greeted just like any other business but no the front desk woman didn't even raise her head up. She kept on working & talking to other people as if I wasn't there. She finally asked what I wanted & I explained that I needed to get an estimate and a estimated time of repairs. The gentleman she sent me over to clearly didn't want to be bothered. I explained to him the situation & he very bluntly said "so why are you even asking me for an estimate if the insurance already did it.". As I stated from the beginning I was getting multiple estimates from repair shops -- insurance companies always lowball customers to save money. Basically he said he wasn't going to do anything but he would take pictures of my car. As we went out & he took pictures he stated he needed to add a couple things to the repairs -- exactly my point ! He gave me a estimate of days for repairs & I went on my way. After leaving, he texted me & asked me to email him the insurance papers as he couldn't get in contact with them -- again something I had previously made aware. I did so & he stated he would get back in contact with me so we could set up a day to get things in order with the insurance. Yep, you guessed it! I never heard from them again. So that's my experience with Xtreme. Do they do good repairs? Probably so but it's clear they didn't need my business. read more

Great customer service for the most part. Sometimes the people answering the phone aren't as friendly as one would like but aside from that... I am satisfied with my interactions & work done. Xtreme Collision repair had great collaboration directly with the insurance company.. which made it really easy for me. I tried two other locations in the area with good reviews, but their prices were much higher and I didn't feel like they would do as good of a job. My mother was involved in a small collision and the insurance gave us a choice between a local dealership and Xtreme Collision Repair to do the work. I'm very glad we chose this shop to do the job and that was before we even saw all the positive reviews for this location. The process went so smoothly for my mom, and the repair was actually completed earlier than projected. "Bernie" did the work actual work on the car and my mom couldn't have been more pleased. It looked like nothing ever happened, and the car was cleaned inside and out which was a nice surprise. Their garage was large, clean, and very professional looking. I was impressed myself, especially after having a less than satisfactory experience at another local body shop for a repair on my own car. Next time though, I will definitely bring it here. I decided to call them for a quote for a painting job of a new primed bumper and my existing hood, the guy took over and phone, without asking me the model of the car, and give me a quote for $2,500 for painting this two piece, and if they put the bumper back on for me I will be looking at over $3,000.
