I even stopped by in person a few days prior to my trip to make sure that a 4 door pickup truck would be available for my reservation since I normally rent at the airport and realize they don't have a large fleet onsite. The woman at the desk told me not to worry that all of their trucks are 4 door. I left feeling reassured. On Saturday the day of my reservation, I arrived at 2:08pm and the desk agent tells me they are closed and even if they weren't closed, he doesn't have a truck on site anyhow. No apology- just told me I needed to leave. They left me sitting outside on the curb.

During my Enterprise's rental, their F-150 would not start. Here's my rant: They blamed ME for it not starting!! Saying that I WAS RESPONSIBLE for leaving it in front of my home during a rain storm. You'll wait for 45 min and the staff leaves the room and you have no idea why the desks are empty or where you are in line. No one greets you, no one seems to care why you came. And if you try calling, the agent will literally give you an attitude. Idk what's happening with Hertz because the people seem lifeless and so miserable. I'd rather watch paint dry. If you have another option, go there and avoid Hertz at Richardson, Texas. Oh! I'd made a reservation weeks in advance & was in from out of state. Called this location the same day & they hooked me up immediately w/ a car & even let me choose between 2 different upgraded cars. Much appreciated. Negative: It appears they took advantage of a misunderstanding & used it to get a little more money out of me. And then also, when I saw my final charge on my bank statement I noticed Hertz had taken the liberty to round the total up from the total of which they assured me @ check-out. Granted it's a small amount but it speaks to the trust factor & more indications they don't seem to value being above board & transparent. I booked another car from Alamo for seven hours to attend her funeral. Once I arrived I was informed because I had already had a reservation for a car in another city I could not rent another in Dallas. They made zero exceptions to their "rule". Thanks for nothing Alamo. Luckily due to absolute TOP NOTCH service from their competitor next door I was only a few minutes late to her service. The competition went out of their way to find a car (they didn't technically have any) and let me have it for a few hours.
