Be sure to check your car top to bottom and take photos of EVERYTHING when you drop your vehicle off and pick it up. I didn't and now I'm stuck with a ton of damage to my brand new car with only 3,500 miles. My car was damaged while in their possession and they refuse to take responsibility. The insurance company allowed to remove and reset my bumper. So when I brought the damage to their attention and said that it looks like it happened when they removed and reset my bumper, they advised me that they in fact didn't remove and replace my bumper. So they took money from me for work not completed. They tried to give me a song and dance about how they applied that money to something else, but never provided an updated estimate. If you look at the photos, you'll see that the scratches on the front come from underneath. And the paint is peeling on with side where the bumper meets the fender. Also, they replaced glass and didn't realize it had tint like the rest of my car. Who has untinted windows in Texas? I had to call them for a week to get them to take care of it like they should have in the first place. The only reason I gave two stars was because they did a nice job on the work I hired them to do (paintless dent repair). Do yourself a favor and take your car somewhere else. read more

When my car came back as fixed but there was a small area that did not get done, he took it back and it was ready the next day. Due to a hailstorm that happened 6 months ago, my family member scheduled an appointment on the next business day, and the HELL Journey began. They promised an appointment, and when my family member showed up, they acted confused as to why my family member showed up on the day of the appointment, and basically said "We don't have any parts for your vehicle, you will have to come back." The next following MONTHS, they kept saying the same thing about NOT having the parts. In October, they said will have the car repaired, but the repair time went from one week to two weeks, and two to three, they were going to keep the car for over a month for the repair. Due to the situation, my family member actually RAN OUT of rental car allowance (30 days). The body shop WILL lie to you about the repair time and keep extending it. 2. ***THIS ONE IS THE KICK IN THE CROTCH.*** The body shop asked my family member to "pre-pay" the repair out of pocket ,and basically asked him to contact the insurance for the reimbursement for the repair. Don't understand and never heard of this kind of deceitful behavior. Again, DO NOT send anything here for a repair. They promised the vehicle will be fixed on a certain date, and will ghost you unless you actively "pester" them, even that does not do much. Will get BBB and even a lawyer involved. I took my 2016 Mustang GT convertible to them for repair after the May 2023 hailstorm and the quality of the repair was perfect. The car had been riddled with large dents everywhere and after I got it back it literally looked like a new car. Some new sheet metal, some PDR, and lots of loving care made it look like it rolled off the showroom floor. Ron was amazing to work with and responsive. I have used Park Place before and will use them next time as well as they take care of everything and even though my insurance company was a no name I never had a single problem. Recently took my new S500 in because of a hit & run (incidentally captured on my cars camera system & a zero deductible insurance policy) . Anyway, there was very slight damage which DID ultimately result in a new bumper. The process took longer than expected due to Allstate, but Adam kept me apprised and worked with their onsite Enterprise car rental service to my complete satisfaction, extending the rental until my car was ready. (By the way Jasmine at Enterprise is also outstanding) Have owned several exotic cars in the past, while never needing bodywork, I'd go back if there was a future occurrence. Finally, upon reading some negative 1-star posts on Yelp, I had to post my experience. If you look up PPBW on Google they have almost 700 posts with 5 stars. I think what you have here are a bunch youngsters whom have probably spent more on their car than they have in their bank account and overly concerned about about their " first baby" ;-) read more

Follow up: After my honest review yesterday, my rep Thomas called me first thing this morning, so it appears I got someone's attention. It is sad that it has taken over a year, while being told ETA's for when the new roof would arrive, that came and went, me being ghosted by management at PPBW, and finally me posting this review to get some action taken. While they have me scheduled to fix the cars overspray and other issues next week, the status of the replacement roof remains a big mystery. Still no answers from Germany. This is truly unbelievable. Amongst things, I manufacture products and always know a timeline on when my products will be ready for distribution. Sure, at times there may be delays in production for a variety of reasons or shipping delays from overseas, but I'm always fully aware of what is going on so I can inform my customers. No answers from the leading German automaker makes absolutely no sense at all. I distributed products from the Swatch Group for nearly 40 years, and worked with Swiss/German manufacturers. Swiss/German companies are top in their game, and I have never heard of any of those companies being clueless about their own production. Good customers should be appreciated and not taken for granted or abused. As their competitor Carl Sewell's book "A Customer for Life" said, treating the customer right is the best strategy. I have maintained this strategy in my own business, and totally took that philosophy to heart. Not surprisingly, while being very basic or common sense, it works. Apparently PPBW and Mercedes Benz of N. America needs to read that book. While I can be understanding about reasonable delays that may be related to Covid, logistics, and shortage of workers, I cannot understand why Mercedes and PPBW have chosen to provide such poor communication. Stay tuned. DO NOT USE - NIGHTMARE - POOR QUALITY WORK - HORRIBLE SERVICE! I have worked with PPBW several times over the years, while owning Mercedes, Porsches, and a Maserati that required their service at times. Some of these cars I had purchased from their parent company, Park Place Motorcars. In the past their service and quality of work was good. They cared about their customers. That has sadly changed. Over one year ago my recently purchased Mercedes SL63AMG was hit when someone ran a four way stop, that resulted in body damage, air bag deployment, and amongst other things it required a new roof. In over one year it still hasn't been fixed! They started the work on my car in the spring of 2022, and had given me an estimated date on when the work would be completed. Through a messaging system they provide I would get weekly updates. They did the body work, painting, etc. and after being told the date the new roof would arrive, I waited and waited. After following up several times, they explained the roof was never shipped, and they couldn't give me any idea when it would be available. The rep suggested that I go ahead and use my car in the meantime since it was otherwise like new and using a rental car was getting old. He said that when the new roof arrived they would quickly install it. So I picked up my car and was happy to be back in it. They stopped giving me the weekly updates, which forced me to follow up. I then discovered the paint work was poor, with overspray and poor quality workmanship on my $100,000+ car. I recall this same experience with my Maserati GT convertible paint work they did. I also discovered other issues with the car. My rep said they would take care of everything when the roof was installed. I waited and waited. I finally asked to speak with a manager so I could get an answer on when the new roof would arrive, and the parts manager finally called me. Several times she told me how she had worked for Park Place for over a decade, and when it came to telling me what to expect, she said "I don't know". She looked into it and then told me she could get no answers from Germany. As a manufacturer, how can Mercedes not know when their parts will be available or have any timeline on what to expect? How ridiculous is that? I asked to speak with her manager and no one ever called me. So I waited and waited and kept following up. In October 2022 my rep finally said the new top would arrive in late November. When I followed up in early December, to my reps surprise I found out the roof never was shipped and he could get no answers on if or when it ever would be shipped. Last week I followed up and my rep said he had escalated it to the higher up managers. Still nothing. Mercedes is known for producing high quality cars and for their exemplary service. The same applied (past tense) to Park Place and PPBW. Post Covid, based on my experience, that is a thing of the past. While my rep Thomas has always done his best and remained as helpful as he could be (while it was clear his hands were tied), this company has been nothing short of a nightmare of a company to work with! read more

I hired Park Place to repair my 2015 Nissan GTR as they are the only local vendor "GTR certified" through Nissan. This work needed to be completed due to a wreck and was an insurance claim. Park Place attempted to work with my insurance company to get a higher labor/paint pay rate, which my insurance company subsequently denied. Following this, Park Place deemed that since my insurance company had rejected their request, I was somehow now canceling my repairs with them and sent me a bill for $1,625.50 (no work had been completed to my vehicle at this time). They stated that contractually I was obligated to pay. The contract states: "5. If for any reason, I or my insurance company chooses not to repair the vehicle and it is removed from Park Place after repair authorization is signed. I understand I will incur additional cost..." No one ever told Park Place I didn't want them to complete the work. They just decided to terminate the contract and charge me because they couldn't get enough money from my insurance company. I was handed off to Brandon Gillespy, the shop manager. He agreed to honor the contract and complete the work for the insurance-approved amount and agreed to pay for the claim to be sent to Appraisal. Brandon stated: "Park Place has agreed to cover any fees associated with the Appraisal Clause." Park Place ordered aftermarket parts to repair my car. Brandon explained that Park Place doesn't usually order aftermarket parts and has zero experience with aftermarket parts on my vehicle. He told me as we were walking my vehicle to assess all of the damages that had occurred due to them IMPROPERLY INSTALLING THE FRONT BUMPER TWICE, which led to significant damage. Brandon would identify nine areas of my car that this faulty workmanship had damaged (cosmetic/body damage, this doesn't include the structural damages). The front bumper, front spoiler, and passenger and driver-side fenders had been damaged. After the first failed install, we found out that the "two primary front bumper supports" were never installed. This is what led to the front end slamming into the ground. Park Place agreed to take the vehicle back and fix all installation errors and subsequent damages. However, this time they would do the repairs without the install manuals for these pieces. Unsurprisingly, the issue was still there, and even more damages occurred to my vehicle. Also, when I got home from picking up my vehicle, I discovered, the lugnuts had not been appropriately torqued, one came off on the highway, and two others were barely hanging on. Attempt three to fix my car. Brandon and I agree that work will be completed once we have all the manuals in hand. They will repair all of the functional damage first, verify the issue is resolved, and then they will fix the body damage. After verifying the issue was resolved, I notified Brandon, to which he responded: "Respectfully, Park Place is no longer interested in performing repairs to your vehicle." He then directs me to his company's in-house attorney, who promptly ignores my emails and calls. After approx. six months of this, I show up unannounced and get lucky enough to catch Brandon and his regional manager, Eric McKenzie. While Brandon was highly contentious, Eric stepped in to help the situation. We agreed that Park Place would honor their previous agreements and fix my car if I signed a hold harmless and nondisparagement contract. When the contract was sent over to me, it was missing the language about the Appraisal. I requested this be added in, as it's already agreed to. Brandon responded: "No sir, the original agreement that was for the appraisal clause is no longer in effect... Your vehicle is available to pick up any time... I have copied our in house council Dean Calloway." So, after all of this, I'm essentially being told to sue them or to walk away with a damaged vehicle... Please read the reviews and why so many one stars. Customer service is lacking. Communication with vehicle owner and insurance adjusters is non existent. I wish I would have read the reviews before having my daughter drive her hail damaged car here for repairs. There was an opportunity for this business to make some $$ for some repairs but they sat around and did nothing waiting for the insurance co. I've repaired my car on January 2024. My insurance initial quote for repair was about $1200 just to replace a rear bumper that'd cost about $300 for parts. I ended up paying close to $6000 including $700 for rental thru insurance for that simple repair. The worst part was, they kept my car for 3 weeks for 1 day repair time and killed my battery. They delivered my car whichI think by jumpstart because of all these, my car remained at my garage totally dead for which I had to replace my battery. I also noticed few dents on my car. They talk about world class service but it's nothing more than getting more money thru insurance and no quality control. I will avoid this place. Horrible customer service. I went in today to get an estimate for damage to my Lexus SUV. They had me file out an intake form and assigned a guy to come out and look at my car. He said he would go in and print out an estimate. I sat and waited for 30 mins and finally went to the front desk to inquire on status. She nonchalantly checked and someone else came back and apologized telling me the guy who was helping me had left for the day and they can have him call me with the estimate once he returns to work. The audacity to clock out and leave me sitting there. I'm glad I inquired bc no one was concerned about me, they lost a customer. I have had the most wonderful experience working with Brian from start to finish on my car repair. Every few days he followed up with a text to me on the progress, next steps, pictures of my car along the way, and always text me back in less than 30 minutes when I reached out to him. His communication FAR EXCEEDED my expectations. I own three businesses myself and know how important customer service is for a successful company. He has been a pleasure to work with! Normally I disregard one star reviews because whomever wrote them tends to be a little dramatic but this review is warranted. I took my mint condition S class in for repairs after a paint company got overstay all over the car and scratched the rear bumper. I took it in for a quote and was told my Steve hurt it was going to be $10,000 because they "don't repair anything, we just replace" whatever that means. I presented the quote to the painters and they obviously countered by having 50% of the paint removed (by some chemical might I add) so I return with the car to PP and get a new $5700 quote to buff and polish the car and replace the damaged bumper. One month later he informs he it's an additional $1000 because my rear antenna needed replacement (on windshield so not sure why) so that threw the construction company through another week to get the payment. Meanwhile Mr. Hurt has had a short and condescending tone throughout our conversations. Fast forward to me picking up the car and the following day realizing they painted over some Goop on the number so I return it to the manager to have the issues rectified. I'm told 3 days and she's mine again.(partially correct, it was 5. However I had to pick up 7 days later because I was at the ranch for the weekend) upon pickup the bumper looked great, but the overspray all over the car, still there. They never polished or buffed the car. And the interior! Filthy, grease, and Schmootz all over the interior, stained greasy seats, literally greasy handprints everywhere and actual boogers.... In my mint car, during covid none the less. Obviously I was upset and the manager was aware, they did give me a $970 check to reimburse me for finding my own detailer to polish the car, however the overspray that's left over, the fact that they put my health at risk by not cleaning the interior, and charged $6700 for work that was partially finished shows how much they care. Upon reviewing my initial quote they did $2,800 of the original job, charged me $1000 for replacement of a part they broke during repair and had it for a month. Don't bring your car here unless you want to risk them messing it up and then have them completely deny all culpability. The experience of dealing with Park Place BodyWerks started off well, but quickly devolved into something very frustrating. Our car was ready months after the estimated time, causing us to delay a move. In fact, we were stuck halfway through a move for over a week with our stuff in a different state and us stuck here waiting on them to finish our car well after it should have been done. When it was finally ready, we picked it up only to have to turn right back around because our drivers seat was loose and the motor to adjust the seat didn't work, both of which were not an issue when we dropped off the car for repair. They claimed not to have touched the seat, despite this not being an issue before they had the car, and even tried to have insurance from the accident pay for it, which of course they denied because this issue didn't exist before our car was at Park Place BodyWerks. read more

Worst customer service ever!!! I took my Bentley after an accident. They took over a month to fix. Agent never picks up the call. Never returns the calls. You call and call and call. Even the front desk picks up... acts as if they care but they put you on hold for a long time. My car still has issues. They charged the over $45,000 to fix the side door, wheel and etc. nothing major. But I can't believe after taking that much money they would at least do a good service. The door panel didn't line up, paint remover solvent faded out my interior door, interior trunk clamps we're not replaced, and mirror signal lights don't work. Do NOT bring your Park Place-purchased vehicle to Park Place Bodywerks for repairs! My experience with them was so awful, and their business practices so sleazy, that I now question the integrity of every enterprise under the Park Place business umbrella. Yes, they were that bad. Short version: Pricey estimate followed by exorbitant "supplementary" estimate. Tried to sell me a new Volvo instead. Hit me with ridiculously inflated and unauthorized fees when I told them I was going to have my Volvo towed elsewhere for another opinion. Suddenly became amenable to reducing those charges considerably after I posted this review on the condition that I modify it, which I am now doing, as promised. For the sordid details, read on. After a minor fender-bender, I had my car towed to Park Place Bodywerks. I knew that they were very expensive from a previous experience (during which several minor issues arose, including the Check Engine light coming on after I picked the car up), but since I bought my 2013 Volvo C70 through Park Place to begin with, it still seemed like the place to go. Boy oh boy, was I ever wrong. After giving me an initial estimate of $3700, the estimator, Jeff White, prepared a "supplement" to submit to my insurance company as well. The amount? A staggering $13,000 and change. He also told me that my car might well be considered by the insurance company to be totaled, and if so, they would not repair it at any price. Within 30 minutes, I got a call from Park Place's Sales Experience Manager, Michael Sartoris. Via voicemail, he expressed his condolences at the loss of my car and offered to sell me a new Volvo. He followed up with a text asking me to please contact him at my earliest convenience because "I look forward to assisting you in your search for another beautiful and safe Volvo." It just so happens that my car is not just "another beautiful and safe Volvo". It's a custom-built hardtop convertible that rolled off the assembly line in Sweden around mid-2013, the last year that Volvo made convertibles. So I was pretty upset to be told that my cherished and beloved C70 might be totaled after such a minor accident. But it also didn't make sense. I'm a lifelong Volvo owner and member of their Million-Miler Club; I've hit a deer with one Volvo and driven another one through a chain-link fence, twice (don't ask). In both cases, repairs were made, and each car went on to log more than 100,000 miles. Once the initial shock and upset subsided, I realized it was time for a second opinion. And being contacted by the Sales Experience Manager, reinforced my decision to take my car elsewhere -- in fact, to the same place that fixed the Volvo I drove through the chain link fence. But I did not get away easily, or unscathed. The estimator told me I could not have the car picked up that afternoon (this was just before 2pm on a Friday) because he had ordered parts, and they would have to go back to the Volvo warehouse, be checked in, and his account credited for the parts before he could tell me what I owed him for the week the car was in their shop, and there was no way that could happen that afternoon, nor could he even promise Monday. He painstakingly mansplained to me the multiple steps involved in the return process, concluding by telling me,"...and it takes time for all that to happen. I don't know just how long it will take." The next excuse for why I couldn't have the car picked up that afternoon was that it was up on jacks and pieces removed that had to be put back in order for it to leave in the same condition in which it arrived. Yet amazingly, I found email in my inbox that very afternoon -- time-stamped 2:36pm -- giving me the total charges I would have to pay in order to spring my C70 from their clutches: "$460 tear down, $150 mechanical diagnosis, $250 admin fee, $349.60 towing* $400 storage" -- a total of $1609.60! At 3:47pm, I received a second email from the estimator saying that he was being charged restocking fees by Volvo, and my adjusted total would be $1738.34. I initially posted this review late the following Sunday night; when I called at 8:15am Monday to ask about reducing some of the charges, Jeff said, "Sure, if you'll remove that review you wrote." When I told him I stood behind it, he suddenly was not authorized to reduce anything but instead referred me to the Service Manager, Brandon. Brandon said he was willing to reduce my bill even more than I had requested. When he called back to tell me what he could do for me, he too asked me to remove my review; I told him I would not remove it, but would be happy to modify it. And now I have, with these additional facts. One thousand bucks and change later, I'm chalking this up as an expensive lesson learned. I honestly don't know what took this dealership 1 month to fix a a car and not even to a decent job in it ..... The taillight and the bumper are detached ..... see attached photos. Is this the kind of service park places offers ? I need y'all to fix this I have also let the insurance company know this is Unacceptable..... park place can't even attach a taillight to a bumper correctly please explain how this happend!??? Also the trunk opens when I drive that used to never happen.its very dangerous just in case you didn't know that. CONSUMER BEWARE: Bodywerks Dallas are THIEVES!!! Whatever you do, do NOT take your vehicle here for a quote or estimate for body damage. Online, they tell you that they offer a complimentary (FREE) quote: (https://www.parkplacebodywerks.com/schedule-collision-repair.htm) but they refused to release my car to me unless I paid them over $2,000 for a quote!! The advisor made no mention of any upfront costs, nor was I ever contacted to discuss what charges may incur, or authorizations. I also never authorized any work to be performed. The advisor gave me a non-Park Place "invoice" with no letter head, and put charges for disassembly, labor costs and mechanic costs. The management in this shop is awful, they did not respond when I tried to reach out to them. Even when I called and asked to speak to a manager, they would re-direct me to the advisor. I don't know what kind of SCAM this company is running, or how many customers they have been able to get over on, but generally speaking, quotes/estimates are free or they disclose an upfront, agreed upon cost at the time services are rendered, or they make contact with you to authorize charges, there are no "hidden" fees, nor do they solicit one price online, only to charge a fictitious, astronomical fee for doing absolutely nothing in person. I own more than one Mercedes Benz vehicle, and have frequented the dealership for other repair issues, but this is my first time dealing with BodyWerks and I am appalled at how they conduct business at this location. Brian Buczynski was my service advisor. Great guy. Totally went above and beyond. So many positive things to say about working with him. He was in constant contact with my insurance company. He kept my vehicle locked while being stored. He even came out and personally helped me remove my personal belongings ( while wearing a nice suit!). On July 20th, there was an attempted break in to my Cayenne that caused damage to the window and door panel. During the week of July 22nd, I made a decision to take my vehicle to Park Place BodyWerks because I wanted a Park Place experience, rather than something like Service King. In hindsight, you will find there was likely no difference. On August 30th, I was notified my vehicle was ready for pick up as it was already a week late. I use this vehicle to tow a trailer and had already cancelled an event the prior weekend and advised that I prefer the shop to get the job right than rush to make the 23rd deadline. I had to make 3 trips to the body shop on August 30th. Once to inspect the vehicle, a second to pick it up, and a third to return and address the parking sensors which I didn't catch on inspection. Earlier that day, I also requested a full estimate of the recommendations from the service department since the one I received did not match what the service advisor discussed over the phone. To date, there have been 3 requests for full list of recommended maintenance and I still have not received it. Between inspection and final delivery of the vehicle on 8/30, these are the items that were presented to me: 1. New damage to the rear driver fender 2. Broken glass still in the car 3. Damaged window trim 4. Wax/compound residue all over the car 5. Scratched/Overbuffed/swirled areas in the front and rear of vehicle 6. Paint imperfection around gas cap 7. Tailgate trim misaligned/broken tabs 8. Rear parking aid not functioning/not reassembled properly On September 8th, I dropped off the vehicle again to have the issues addressed. I was notified the vehicle was ready for pick up on September 13th and had the porter deliver the vehicle to my home. Upon delivery, these are the items that were presented to me: 1. Overspray on the roof (close to passenger rear) 2. Torn rear window gasket 3. Someone busted open/dropped the Garage door opener and threw inside driver door panel (rather than fix it or at least notify me) 4. Gas tank fill cap: misaligned, rubbing along bottom side, lock is clicking and pulling, not properly finished 5. Driver side black vertical window trim poorly finished-see driver/passenger comparison photo below On September 14th, I dropped off the vehicle again. At this point this experience has been a failure and disaster. Upon speaking with Albert on September 17, he did not ONCE apologize for this inconvenience and all of these fuck ups. Up to that point he had been professional and attentive. I gave him several opportunities to explain what happened and repeatedly asked him what else he had to say in response to my email. No apology, no I'm sorry... except listing responses to the numbers on my email and deflecting blame to the car wash for some of them. I replied "that's really all you have to say" several times hoping for some comfort from all of the grief, aggravation, and anxiety this has caused me. It's now October 17 and they are still awaiting parts which they damaged during the repairs. read more

I appreciate the follow up here on Yelp. I returned the rental car Friday morning and picked my car up Friday evening on my way to the airport and your Body Manager said it was Saturday. I was clear across the world traveling for two weeks.Noone could tell me what happened to my steering wheel. I promptly addressed it with your Advisor,Body Shop Manager and copied the Body Shop Director. I want my steering wheel replaced! So I just got my car back after a month in the shop. Had a fender bender and they replaced the bumper and back quarter panel. Pros- it seems to be fixed well Lobby was clean Cons- the first service advisor wouldn't respond to my emails. The second advisor was much better after I complained via Yelp. It took a month to get it fixed - they didn't start working on it for about a week. The insurance company was hard to work with so I think that was part of it. The worst part was the car rental policy. They had Enterprise in house - the first car I got was a Hyundai with 40k miles. My car is a Jaguar XJL. After I complained and had a blowout they quickly gave me a Toyota Camry. Other folks I talk to said they got Jags and other luxury cars with other dealerships. I don't feel like for the amount I spent on the car and the service that the service matches the price. Probably won't buy a Jag at Park Place again. My wife has a Lexus from there and her service is much better. read more

WARNING: DO NOT GO TO PARK PLACE BODYWERKS!!!! I have a 2008, Lexus 430 SC and had an accident in November 2014. Because of their presence in Dallas, I felt Park Place would be a reputable and reliable place to get my car fixed correctly to look and run like new. It started poorly, because my estimator, Albert Herrera, kept telling me that the car was going to be totaled. So we waited and waited to start the repairs. Ultimately, they did not total it and so I told him that we needed to start repairs on 12/10/14, after wasting so much time on his "hunch". The insurance company estimated 15 days worth of work on the car and forwarded Park Place the check for almost $20k repairs. They got their money and as soon as they cashed the check they stopped caring. After getting empty promise and outright lies about progress and completion date from Albert, I finally got the car back on 1/19/14 (that's over 35 business days). I had to call the manager, Brandon, who was a completely unsympathetic to the fact that this whole process had gone badly (but did offer me an oil change to make up for it). I was so glad to have my car back and the idea that I never had to talk to Albert or Brandon again.....UNTIL........ After a week of having the car I noticed that the truck wouldn't stay open (which it did before the accident). Being that Park Place replaced the entire trunk lid during the repairs either they had screwed up or the part was not put in correctly. Begrudgingly, I had to call Albert and tell him that I needed it fixed. He replied that he was sorry, but it wasn't something they touched and would be happy to submit a supplement to the insurance company to get them replaced (more money to Park Place and more crappy service to me). So he wants me to wait before they fix the problem. After the amount of money they received and the horrible service they delivered you'd think they'd just fix it and figure who's fault it was later. Instead of being a happy and satisfied customer here I sit waiting and waiting. getting hit on the head every time i'm loading and unloading groceries. Park Place has made me look and feel like a food. Don't let the same thing happen to you. In Response to Park Place's comment: I only counted the time it took to repair the car after we found out the car was not being totalled (12/10). The car had been in PP's shop since mid November. Also, Brandon, the manager, called only after my review had posted on Yelp (one hour exactly). He told me that there would be a condition to replacing the part at no charge: TAKE DOWN THE YELP POST. Yes, I did decline because the "olive branch" they offered was not to do the right thing by me (otherwise it would have been offered before the post), it was merely a way to keep the my story about this place from being posted publicly. Park Place Bodywerks is awesome! My car took some pretty bad hail damage, so I brought it here for repair. Great service from Bodywerks and Enterprise here. I was on my way out of town because Enterprise didn't have a rental for me, but just as I was leaving, they gave me a call because they had a car free. It was after hours by the time I got there, but they were extremely accommodating. They even gave me a discount on my rental car because they called me in on such short notice. My auto worker was very friendly and honest. He gave me a timeframe, and they were able to get it done earlier than expected, even with 80 other cars in front of me. I was signed up for updates through phone and email. I got consistent updates, and my auto worker was very quick to respond to my questions through the repair update website. Got my car back today, and everything looks great. Super service, and I'm very satisfied. read more

My thanks to Brandon Gillespy, who helped me immensely with a really bad repair job performed by Aimes Collision on my sons Mercedes. The damage looked really minor and I made the biggest mistake of moving the car to Aimes Collision. Aimes estimated the repair would take 3 weeks. Fast forward 73 days, and Aimes stated repairs were finally complete. I noticed immediately the hood was crooked, paint was peeling, radiator did not line up. Before accepting car, I had Aimes drive it to Mercedes to check radiator, they were shocked. They called Brandon over and I pointed out my concerns. Brandon offered to have his shop look over the repairs. Two hours later Brandon had a list of items that were seriously wrong. You might think sure, they want to make a few bucks and redo some repairs. Nothing could be further from the truth. I know nothing about cars and easily seen the car was misaligned. I authorized Brandon and Bodywerks to do a more extensive check on the vehicle. My insurance adjuster went to Bodywerks the next day, called me and said he never seen such a horrible repair job. After 30,000. in repairs, every repair needed to be redone and then some (Aimes chose not to address the frame damage). Aimes insurance Co. had 2 adjusters look over the car, both called me saying they had never seen anything like it and recommended totaling the car. They estimated another 50,000. to correctly repair the car, instead they chose to pay well over 85,000. to total the car. Brandon updated me every day on what was happening with the car, coordinated with both insurance companies for me. If it wasn't for Brandon my son would be driving a car that had at least 4 major items not addressed. - Transmission was ruined - Steering component needed to be replaced - Loose wires hanging over the fan - Frame damage I highly recommend Brandon and Bodywerks (as well as all 4 insurance adjusters involved). Had I used Bodywerks I would have avoided 73 days of stress and lies from Aimes Collision. Thank you! read more

"We're in the business of making money." - Actual words said to me by Brandon, the manager at Park Place BodyWerks in Dallas. I noticed that there are some positive reviews; unfortunately, these customers are oblivious to the fact that they have been completely ripped off. Please spare yourself of stress and read this review in its entirety before choosing Park Place Bodywerks for your vehicle repairs. On the morning of October 10th, I had an accident which damaged my front bumper, hood and grill. I called my insurance and had my vehicle towed to Park Place Bodywerks, since my vehicle was purchased from Park Place Lexus. When I arrived at Bodywerks, Chase was assigned as my advisor. They asked me to sign some documents to initiate the "teardown" and estimate the cost of the repair. Initially, Chase told me they "prefer to use OEM parts". Chase promised to price-match OEM parts with Lexus in case the insurance does not cover OEM parts. He also told us that we may have to pay "$50 to S200 maximum out of our pockets if we choose to use OEM parts." After 3 to 4 days, he called to inform me that the insurance would not cover all the costs of using OEM parts and that the difference is almost $1700. This quote seemed unreasonably high so I decided to look into it. The quote Chase sent me for the total cost of just the OEM parts was over $10000. I looked up the price of the parts online though Lexus's website (using the exact part numbers Chase provided) and found out I could have saved $2000 from his quote if I just bought them myself! I could only imagine how much THEY truly pay for these parts if any online customer could save this much. Upon hearing this quote, I asked them to talk to our insurance to handle the matter as they state they normally do. They went back and forth with my insurance for a few more days and finally arrived at a quote of about $1200, far more than the "$50 to $200". We attempted to resolve conflict ourselves between our insurance and Chase of Park Place BodyWerks, an extremely stressful situation we should NOT have been in the middle of. Our insurance representative did his absolute best to work with Chase, but he stopped responding to messages, emails, or phone calls from our insurance. 3 weeks have passed, and we decided to get into contact with Chase's manager, Brandon as a last resort to resolve these issues. Brandon also dodged our calls and when we finally got into contact, he told us he is aware of our situation and stated "You have to understand one thing. We are in the business of making money. We cannot help you in any way." We were appalled by the deceit, rudeness, terrible communication, and complete disregard of customers shown by the employees of Park Place Bodywerks. We finally decided to take our vehicle elsewhere for repairs. Bitter Chase vindictively came up with additional fee of $1800 for 3 weeks of vehicle storage and disassembly. We discovered at the new collision center that nothing was even disassembled except the bumper! Please take your vehicle elsewhere if you do not want to be taken advantage of, lied to, ignored, and severely overcharged! 5 Stars for scheduling an appointment with ease and for an honest opinion. This business is in it for the long run and not interested in a quick buck. Very clear that they intend to earn your long term business by putting their customers first. The staff was very friendly and efficient. After first calling Service King and being told their soonest appointment for a quote was 10 days out, I was pleased to hear walk-ins are welcome. I showed up about 5 minutes before closing and they were glad to assist. The reason for the visit was that my lease was coming due on my Audi and I had a bunch of scrapes and scratches from hitting my garage. After walking around my car for about 5 minutes, one of the staff members told me that it could all be buffed out and provided great advice in that the dealership wouldn't charge me for any damage smaller than a credit card. He proceeded to show me how much would come out by utilizing a thinner to completely reduce all the marks almost to the point where they were unrecognizable. Overall, highly advise this business especially if you are a customer that appreciates good service. read more

A huge "Thank You!" to Ed Kuebler and his team at Park Place BodyWerks. I was involved in a hit and run on the North Dallas Tollway and my car was towed to Park Place BodyWerks for repairs. I had purchased my car from Park Place (along with others in the past), so I knew the service would be five-star. Needless to say, I was correct. I picked up my car this morning, and I could not be happier with the service I received. Due to the fact that I had a dash cam, the police were able to track down the responsible party and we were able to contact their insurance provider. Understand, dealing with this type of situation can become extremely frustrating and time consuming. Ed worked with their insurance company and kept me informed every step of the way. I received text and email updates weekly and any communication he had with their insurance company, I was copied on. He was also very professional, courteous and helpful in explaining the process. At the end of the day, they did a fantastic job on trying to get the repairs done in a timely manner and my car looks great! I also have to say "thank you" to Kyrie York at Enterprise rent-a-car for helping me sort out the rental car situation. Do not take your car to this place. This body shop charged my insurance company 8K for repairs that consist of the front bumper and radiator. The invoice shows additional repairs that were never addressed. I have photos that were taken underneath the car that shows obvious damage but never repaired. Now that I have mechanical issues due to the fact that it was missed, they are accusing me of having a new accident that has caused damage that was never addressed. I would give one star if Brian didn't help me out towards the end. First let me start off with the fact that my car took more than a month to get fixed. During the wait time, I called my initial representative: Chris to ask what the status of my vehicle was. You have access to what status the car is in, but it's been stuck at one status for a good week or two. I had to call and find out what the hold up was. Didn't get a call back from Chris. Two weeks later I called Chris again to check up on the status of the car. Again, no call back, but just a one sentenced email telling me that my vehicle is finished. Okay... Thanks... No explanation of why it took more than 6 weeks to fix my car?? Brian helped me out cleaning up the mess. He called and texted me through out the day and made sure everything was going smoothly.
