I went in for an estimate, to repaint half a bumper. Kirby was my service agent , he looked at it, we shared if it was fixable in my budget .It wasn't;but, Kirby suggested he take it to the shop and see what could be done .His volunteering saved this retired old guy a lot of money . He brought it back in few minutes and it was 90% fixed . Mostly it was paint from garage door. The service here was amazing . Made my day Kirby. read more

My wife and I went to that location regarding one of our progressive claim and the claim number is 25870797843 and my wife is the claimant on that claim. The inspector from progressive informed my wife to contact this location to write for her a supplemental estimate for additional repairs needed and all she was asking them to just look at the vehicle for any additional damage for her vehicle 2015 Bmw 320 I rear bumper . Leslie contacted my wife to set up appointment and she informed her they are willing to write an estimate and will send it to progressive inspector to review it and approve it. My wife left work early that day and she asked me to leave work early as well to go with her once we arrived and before we could even say anything we have an asshole store manager. He came up to us introducing himself as the general manager, and he's not willing even to give us five minutes from his time or any of his coworkers to just look at the vehicle. Did not give us a chance to say or explain or inform him about the situation. And he refused to honor what one of his coworker and for us on phone and her promise to help us for what we were asking for and that's her that's what her agreement was with the progressive inspector. He was very rude, unprofessional and he has very ugly behavior. My wife and I usually send our older kids to get repairs on his own Shop and we used to recommended to any of our friends and family members but after what we received from this asshole manager, which he shouldn't be general manager first of all for and he should teach his coworkers and spend time to train them before they inform the customers with dishonest and false information We will NEVER EVER return back to this location . My wife she works for the biggest insurance company and she already informed the general asshole manager in her company about her experience with him at that location and she asked to remove him to be one of her one of the select service shops in her Company. She informed progressive and inspector as well about what happened and asked remove that location from the list as one of select Service shops. Unacceptable behavior and we did not appreciate it at all what we received today from that manager at that location and I hope somebody can look in that comment and do something about it to because he needs to get fired as soon as possible. read more

Originally, I was told this location wasn't accepting "hail damage" repairs. A few weeks later, I received a call from Rhonda, telling me the company would gladly accept my vehicle. Within a few days, it was in the shop. Rhonda called twice within the week to update me on the status of my vehicle and it was superbly repaired much faster than I anticipated. Great staff and Rhonda was first-class. read more

My car has been with them for almost a month. Their initial estimate to fix was 4 days then every time I'm supposed to pickup I would call before to check if the car is ready. Mind you I call not them giving me call with a status that it won't be ready on the date they have given and yes it is not ready. If I have a date of pickup and I don't hear otherwise I will be there to pickup. If it will not be ready then let me know as early as possible not an hour before the time of pickup because I have already rearranged my day around what you told me. If it is not going to be done, you probably have a good idea if you check it's status early on. This is the third time and counting. As you can see in the image that's the only damage that needed to be fixed and pickup has been delayed 3 times now due to various reasons. Adding a star to my initial 2-star review because they had better communication after I expressed my frustration with the lack of better communication and adhering to their dates they gave me. The work looks good too. read more

Terrible service this go around I am in complete shock! Screwed my window trim up more then once. Ripped tint in quarter panel window, not to mention the finger grease marks on headliner. Has taken months to get completed still not right. My paint blend was terrible also my front driver side panel is not flush with the rest of the vehicle. Keep in mind this is my 3rd visit and never this kind of service. I will not return to any Caliber Collision service. read more

When you've had your car damaged, you really wish you could just do a genie blink and undo it. Well, that's kind of what it's like to work with Calibur. Someone who will remain nameless (jk it was me) managed to damage both the front and thee back bumper backing out of our new garage. After I filed my claim, I received a choice of who to do the body work. Calibur as a company had done some body work for me back in 2011, though it was another location. Let me just say this experience was even better than I remember. From my first call with Shaima to get my appointment set, I was blown away with how helpful and responsive the staff is. They let you know what to expect, what to do next, and are available for any questions. If you have to do a rental, they work with enterprise and make that all totally seamless. Kathie was my contact for the all the work and she did an amazing job of keeping me up to date, and they were even able to delivery my car earlier than expected and it looks brand.spankin.new. Actually, better than new because I have two small children and they vacuumed and washed it before I got it back! Woo hoo! I would highly recommend not only Calibur, but this location in particular. They are friendly, organized, and will do everything they can to make things easy...even if that includes grabbing the garage door opener you left in the rental for you. read more

Caliber Collision provides a phenomenal customer experience, sets accurate expectations and really went above and beyond for me. I recently stopped in for a free estimate to repair some door dings. The employee told me it'd be $1,500 due to the location and suggested I file a claim with insurance. After opening the claim, I dropped off my vehicle with Jack as my main point of contact. Jack walked me through the entire process, drew out what would and would not be repaired on my vehicle and gave me an overview of why the repair process takes longer than expected (the insurance piece). Jack agreed to touch up two areas on my bumper as a courtesy for getting the work done with Caliber Collision. While work was underway on my vehicle, I received daily text messages from Jack to let me know where they were at in the process. When I came to pick up my vehicle, it looked like new and the two additional bumper spots were repaired. Jack even took care of a separate tire pressure issue and gave me a small jar of touch up paint for any future paint chips. Everyone at Caliber was enthusiastic and friendly, but Jack really did an outstanding job from start to finish. read more

My car needed repairs after a hit and run and my insurance suggested I use Caliber Collision. It's been just short of a month and I have no regrets. Mike was my repair guy and he kept me informed along the way and even gave me peace of mind that my car would be done sooner than the 8 days my insurance quoted me. Sure enough, his estimate was spot on and I was able to grab my car before heading out for a trip. Regarding the repairs, everything runs smoothly and it's as if my car wasn't ever hit in the first place. The paint match is as close to 100% as you can get and all the parts "matched" my car and didn't look like it was taken for a damn Kia or something. Overall, if I ever had to use their services again (praying that I don't!), I'd definitely return and have Mike take care of my vehicle. read more

Best service! They were all very nice and truly helped me with my car. I highly recommend coming here!!

Today I went to Caliber Collision Express, without an appointment just walked in. I was checking to see if I could get an estimate on a scratch I had on the front of my car from another driver doing a hit and run at the airport. Although the protocol was to have an appointment before coming in to get work completed Ron and David offered to take a look at my vehicle. I was provided with a rough estimate and they took my car to the back to write up the quote which I was happy to have it handled right away with urgency. I was going to leave my car there for the week while I went on a business trip. While they took my car to the back 3 other Caliber team members asked if I had been helped and ensured that i had been helped which I thought was amazing. After about 10 minutes Ron and David called me back to the workshop and to my surprise, they had buffed and touched up the paint on the scratches. My car looked brand new, in less than 10 min. I asked them how much I owed and they told me I didn't owe a thing and wouldn't even accept a tip as a form of thanks. This team is phenomenal, they took less than 10 min to fix an issue on my car that I had waited to get repaired and did it for me gladly. Thank you all for your kindness and for helping me. The only shop I will go to from now on is Caliber Collision read more

Royce and his team at Caliber Collision did a great job taking care of me and my Lexus. Originally we thought the back right quarter panel would need to be completely replaced but luckily the team was able to repair the damage without replacing the quarter panel. They took my car in right away and immediately started working on it. My car looks good as new! You would never be able to tell there was any damage in the first place. Royce was great at keeping me updated on the repairs. At the time I went to pick up my car, the battery was dying which they kept having to jump it. It was closing time and I had already dropped off my rental car, so rather than leaving me to try and manage to get the battery replaced on my own, they were extremely helpful by staying after hours to grab a new battery and replace it for me. I am truly thankful for that especially since I was ready to have my car back. I would highly and gladly recommend Caliber Collision to anyone! Hopefully I'll never need to come back, but if I do, I know where to go! read more

My car was damaged by a broken piece of curb. Service King couldn't schedule me for an estimate until that next week, but Caliber Collision was able to schedule me for the same day. They do have an online chat, which also wasn't helpful. read more

Got slammed into by a lady texting while driving. Damage did not look too bad, surprisingly. I went to a place on Main to get an estimate and also to look at a damaged front fender. I got a very half-hearted response ("Geico is not on our list") and an estimate of $1009 for the front fender. I decided to forget about it. Then Geico called and referred me to Caliber and set a next day appointment with Rachael Mathews. She walked me next door to Enterprise for a rental and sent me on my way. She texted, e-mailed, and called the next few days to let me know the status. They found some damage under the bumper, along with the dents. Got my car back and the rear looks BRAND NEW! That fender was buffed for FREE. They now have a customer for life!! Rachael rocked it out of the park!!!!! Thank you Caliber (and Geico, and Enterprise!) read more

I chose this location based on the great reviews posted here. The estimate was also a little lower comparing to another bodyshop closed by in the beginning. However, the repairing cost was increased significantly ($1600 more) once they got the contract. My car was simply hit by a truck at the parking lot when the other party backing up. The trailer hitch/hook broke my rear bumper and made a hole at the corner of rear bumper, unfortunately, but very obvious it didn't get to the wheel and such. The impact was low but unsure how other stuff besides the rear bumper was damaged? They charged $4200 for replacing the rear bumper, sensor, muffler, rear seat related accessories and such. It took 2 weeks to complete the job. The service consultant, Larry, did not inform me well thru out the process. I also found some issues later on such as scratch marks and missing two hooks that secure the storage net. Anyway... the experience can be better. read more

I took my car to Caliber Collision in Frisco to get painted after being vandalized. Let me just say, it was not the best experience and I am taking my car back to them to correct several issues. While painting, they broke the clips and cracked the corner of my driver side tail light, and called me seeming to imply it was somehow my fault. They ultimately replaced it at their cost, I was just in disbelief they implied it was something I did. The paint job is not satisfactory. When I picked the car up, my wheels are covered in some type of film, soap residue I think, as I was able to wash it off. I would have expected the WHOLE car to be clean when I picked it up. On my way home from work the night I picked it up, I was pulled over because my entire passenger side tail light is not illuminating, no tail light, no blinker, no brake light! How did this go unnoticed before it was released to me? My trunk latch is now non functional, how? There are several places around the vehicle that show marring of the paint. There are chips of paint missing, down to the unpainted base of the car. There are scratches in several places as well. The passenger side panel that runs along the side of the back window has something wrong. The lip that frames the window is not a smooth surface, and is a grey, unfinished color. My car is jet black, so it's as if they missed this part of the vehicle all together. There is a spot on the front hood that feels rough to the touch, so I assume there is no clearcoat at that one spot. I am definitely not satisfied with the quality of work that was complete. Correction to my previous review...whatever is on my wheels... DID NOT come off when I washed them. They looked good wet, but when I went to dry them, there is still a blotchy film on every wheel. My wheels are glossy black, and we're just redone on January 8, just 11 days before Caliber received my car. Ridiculous! read more

After a recent hail storm I took my vehicle to this location. This was a three month ordeal due to this shop being unprepared and not having an adequate plan in place. My vehicle went in initially on 4/28. After two weeks the only work completed was PDR on one side. I needed to take my car for a road trip I had planned. (No rental car coverage ). They rescheduled my car to come back in on 6/13 to have the roof am replaced, hood replaced, driver's side PDR and painted. I received my car on 7/14. In the meantime I was given unreliable statuses when I called for updates. Finally, after I posted a previous review here, I received a call from the manager, who provided a rental car on 6/29. This was a very frustrating experience that I am very glad is over. I am not likely to use this location in the future. read more

I had never even thought about or considered reviewing a body shop until I went here. They were a recommended service provider by my insurance company. They kept me up to date on my repairs, had an extremely nice waiting area, they offered me a drink while I was there, the work they did was top notch, and to top it off, they clean my car inside out better than any car wash I had ever been to. Joe was my service adviser and he even stayed a little late so I could pick the car up. The lady that answers the phone and works the reception desk is extremely nice and accommodating as well. I can't speak for any of the other locations but the Frisco location it the only body shop I will ever use, even if I moved from the Frisco area. read more

I thought it was important to come to Yelp and give a good review. I had a small fender bender that ended up being very pricey so I had to get insurance involved. Geico recommended Caliber and I couldn't be more pleased! I was nervous about taking my car to a place I didn't know much about, but they did a great job. Both Geico and the shop were very quick on getting an estimate done, kept me updated almost daily on the status of my repair, and even completed it before the estimated time frame. The repair is still holding up well and it's been at least a month since it was completed. It also helps that they have a warranty on their repairs for as long as you own the car. They also did an excellent job detailing my car before I got it back. I was very happy to have Enterprise next door for the rental car and the whole process was incredibly smooth. Thanks, Claudia (Geico) and Caliber! read more

Jessie was the service coordinator, listened and let me observe some of the work. Alex was the PDR tech, talked me through what he was doing and took out the hail damage dents like a magician. They were 100% pros that took their time to get it right, and my car looks brand new. read more

Here's the update, I received a very nice phone call from them and was informed to come back in, and they will get the arm handle fixed. I went the next day and it turned out they ordered a arm handle that did not fit. The mechanic was apologetic and told me to wait another week because it would need to be special order. A week later I get another phone call, for me to come in for the mechanic to install the new arm handle. I was a bit alarmed when they mention that they set me up with a rental car while they get my arm handle fixed, but I am hoping they didn't mean that. After all arm handles only takes lets than 5 minutes to install. Anyway, I decided to give them three stars for now. Like I said the manager was apologetic and he said he just forgot to keep me updated. People do make mistakes, so giving a second chance seems like the right way to go. read more

The general manager was rude to me, everyone else was exceptionally nice. I had just a few dents in my pickup which cost $3100 to fix. I have had entire cars painted for half that. I consider this a complete ripoff. I will never use them again. I had to wait for 40 minutes to get my vehicle back even though I had a 10:00 appointment. NEVER AGAIN! There were a few scratches on the side which were not even buffed out, nor did they bother to even wash my vehicle. I showed the pickup to a friend later that same day and he said "dude you were screwed". Yup that pretty much sums it up for Caliber Collision of Frisco. read more
