Do not go here. These guys held on to our insurance check after someone smashed into our Audi. I had to repeatedly call and email to get them to respond. They wouldn't let me talk with accounting and would not return my calls. Left me on hold for 20 minutes. On top of that John Love was rude to me on the phone. I did not hire this company. They were highly reluctant to give an estimate, their estimates varied, I'm not exaggerating, by more than 100%. I was quoted over $7000 for an 8 inch dent repair. I was told my car had to be completely taken apart from the front door through the trunk and that half of the parts they "needed" to remove would be thrown away and had to be repurchased. I was obviously not going to do that. Call Titos dent repair. They come to you and they fixed my dent and touched up the paint for $600. read more

I had very high expectations for this body shop based on the good reviews and their certifications. Unfortunately, their work was mediocre especially when taking into account the time it took and the cost. Pros: - They are very professional. - They are very responsive, although not very proactive in providing updates. - They do a good job detailing the car before delivery (which is good at distracting from the repaired areas) - The vendor they use for pinstriping etc. does a great job Cons: - They take forever. It takes 1-2 months for them to even accept your car and about as long for them to do even the simplest repairs. While they have your car, it's probably sitting outside, semi-disassembled and exposed to the elements (check satellite images on google maps to see the parking lot on the back). - The paint job is very mediocre. The blending isn't great, there are nibs on the base and clear (and that was after having to redo part of the paintjob). - There is no attention to detail especially when it comes to your car's interior. Based on the scratches, the broken clips and the unclipped parts of the trims, I doubt the person doing the work had ever worked on a similar car before, despite the shop being manufacturer certified. Overall, Dallas Collision Center has done a great job creating the image of an upscale shop with great attention to detail. In reality, they are just another high volume shop working mostly with dealership referrals and insurance claims, investing primarily on their customer facing staff rather than their overworked techs. If you're looking for a shop with attention to detail, that will take care of your car, look elsewhere. There are many good and certified shops in the Metroplex. P.S. I'm also taking some points off for the car rental facility, which is probably the worst Enterprise location I've ever interacted with. read more

I do not have enough positive things to say about Dallas Collision Center! I was rear ended recently, and completely frustrated by the inconvenience of having to have my car repaired/in the shop. I had the pleasure of working with JD Love- not only was I completely satisfied with the quality of repairs, but I was beyond impressed by how knowledgeable, professional, efficient and communicative he was thought the entire process. Nice people but poor workmanship. They charged my insurer for a wire harness and installed it by crushing the wires and never checking to see if the cars MMI components worked correctly. Plus they forgot to install a windshield wiper but charged the insurance company to take it apart. Now, they don't call you back when you confront them with a mistake, Do yourself a favor and avoid this place. People make mistakes - Hinest people makes amends. read more

I have a pearl white Acura MDX that has some hail damage. I called in and July and the soonest I could in was today, September 11th. I waited all that time then took time to drive across town to bring my car in. After driving across time back home I get a call from the body shop manager telling me that the painter they had had some "spray outs" and is no longer working there and took his "spray outs" with him therefore he didn't feel like he could do a good job on my car. He suggested using a painless dent repair company that can fix the damage without replacing the hood. He told me the pointless dent guy he uses is young and can't do work like that. At this body shop the staff talks to you as if they are doing you a favor by doing work for you. I know have to drive across town and pick my car. I wasted over a month waiting for this appointment and then hours driving back and forth to their shop. I called Park Place and they said they could do the work no problem and for me to tell Dallas Collision Center to send them their business. Hail repair is bread and butter work for a body shop and I'm surprised that a major body shop doesn't have a painter that can paint a common color like pearl white, I'll be taking my car to Park Place. I can not recommend anyone use this shop. read more

Disclaimer: I didn't get any work done here, the reason for the poor review is the price estimate they gave me. I came in to Dallas Collision Center for an estimate to repair a few small dents, and they quoted over $3,500 as an estimate. I went to two other repair shops and they both estimated around $600. Needless to say, I chose one of the other repair shops, and they did an excellent job on the dent repairs, saving me about $3,000 had I chosen to get the work done at DCC. I'm sure they do fine work, but if I had excellent work done for $3,000 cheaper than what Dallas Collision Center quoted then this place is a rip off. My advice - shop around first and get estimates at a few places before deciding to have any car work done here. You might be saving yourself a lot of money. read more

Widely diverse reviews always puzzle me but in this case 40 years experience in the insurance business provides a unique perspective. When things go wrong repair shops always blame the insurer and most of us are quite willing to buy into that. In my case there was wrong on both sides and I'm irritated that the shop won't admit their culpability. Yes insurance appraiser missed something but repair shop was given the opportunity to see the car, review the appraisal before accepting the work. The idea was they would catch the error and not keep the car for 11 days for some surface scratches. Further the car was delivered with a surface that needed buffing to eliminate stubborn smudges perhaps from some adhesive or material. GEICO for one sets up shop in some repair facilities and do try and steer you to them but note your right to go anywhere. I went to Dallas Collision rather than Caliper on the advice of my dealer who has always steered me straight. In retrospect I can see where the shop housing the adjuster could have gotten the approval much faster. On previous damage I went to the insurer recommended shop and things went much smoother read more

I came in yesterday to get an estimate for a solution to take off something that was spilled on my car and was told that might cost a lot to take it off after they didn't remove in car wash at the dealership. This nice lady Michelle took it off in few minutes with just car wax and a towel! She was very nice too! read more

This company completed a minor repair on my Audi which required painting and blending a passenger side door. The paint job was completed ok, but In the process of washing my vehicle they completely marred my paint job with tiny scratches and swirls around the entire car. Additionally, my front license plate was damaged upon having the car returned to me with no explanation. The company offered no resolution despite my protest. It cost me 1200$ in a paint correction to fix the damage they caused. I would highly recommend you take your business elsewhere, this shop does not have the precision or execution to fix high end cars. read more

I had my Audi A4 repaired here. JD Love was my assistant. They returned it to me with a bent axle and wheel, they never replaced the damaged fender liner, so the tire was rubbing the fender liner making an obnoxious sound. They painted the wheel the wrong shade of grey so now one wheel is light grey and the rest are dark grey. They also put a large dent on my rocker panel from lifting the vehicle with a jack placed on the body instead of the frame of the car. They did not take responsibility for the damage on the rocker, even though the photo from the Geico inspection did not show that damage to be there when the car was first admitted. Then they told me to take the car to another shop to get the bent axle fixed and to get it aligned because they did not know how to fix it and were unable to do it there. The only part they did agree to fix was the fender liner, and with that they refused to provide me with a rental and could not work with me to make an appointment on my time off work. Considering that this whole problem stemmed from their inability to fix the car properly the first time, I am appalled at their customer service. Save yourself the pain in the rear and take your car somewhere else. When they damage your car or improperly repair it they will not take responsibility for it. read more

I believe I addressed my concerns with both dallas collision along with my insurance company and mentioned both the bad and the good things dallas collision did and the bad (customer service was great, quality of work was not satisfactory) as evidenced by door molding still messed up, headrest not working and now rear interior light not working, all areas Dallas Collision worked on. There was close to 18k of work done on a vehicle that is not even a year old with less than 10k on it. I would expect as would you those small details to be taken care of. read more

Do not take your vehicle here. I have had to take my vehicle back 6 times to rectify issues and every time I got it back more damage and mistakes were done to my vehicle. My vehicle is still not correct. This is the worst shop I've ever used. Overspray, runs in paint and clear coat, color match, fit and finish, trash in the paint, uneven buffing, buff burns through the paint, scratches.... If you do not want any of this I suggest you go elsewhere. read more

They did a fantastic job repairing my car after someone hit it while parked. They also kept me updated via e-mail at every step of the process and were available for questions. They also got the car done a week earlier than promised. My insurance covered the cost, but initially I was concerned that the cost was higher than quotes I got from other repair shops. HOWEVER, a gentleman whose name I can't recall patiently explained to me (and showed me photos to demonstrate) that upon disassembly there was internal damage which definitely needed repair. None of the other quotes included this in their estimate. In hindsight, I like that Dallas Collision Center doesn't complete the estimate for the ins co until they disassemble the damaged portion of the car. Would have gotten a falsely low estimate had I taken the car to an insurance co assessor or used a cell phone app instead of taking directly to Dallas Collision Center. Highly recommended and would choose Dallas Collision Center again should I or a family member need repairs in the future (knock on wood). read more

I (fortunately) don't have to work with body shops often, but my experience with Dallas Collision Center was outstanding! They provided update texts as my car proceeded through the repair process. It's somewhat depressing to come out of a store and see the rear bumper of your car damaged and no one in sight. Once I received the estimate and check from my insurance carrier, I took my car to Dallas Collision Center. My car looks just like I drove it off the showroom floor! Their work is second to none. Now, did it take longer than they said originally? Yes, but really, who cares? It's not fast food. I won't do business here again. If you get a verbal estimate to start, prepare for the formal estimate to be more. If they tell you it'll take 3 to 4 days to complete the work, prepare to have it take 2 to 3 times to get your car back. THEY TOTALED MY AUDI It was sent here as this is the "preferred shop" for Dallas Audi. Unfortunately for a convertible top repair they chose not to protect my car during the torrential rains we recently had. My car was totaled and i never got to drive it. AND they wont pay my deductible either for the water damage they caused by their neglect! I called Robert, the GM, and he advised me they weren't going to do anything to assist in the loss or my deductible. In fact, he was quite rude. So i guess my law firm will have fun with this one. As I write this review I am on day 45 without my vehicle. I was, unfortunately, rear ended in the middle of august in a brand new Audi and as this was the only Audi certified body shop I elected to bring my car here. I was estimated a two week wait period and then a couple of days of repairs after a quick once over of my vehicle with the estimator when my car was initially brought in. Two weeks later when I called to check in on the progress of my car I was told that it would not be ready until Sept 9. (almost a full month after my accident). When I inquired as to why this way I was informed there was an extensive amount of extra damage than was able to be inspected initially. To be fair the initial estimator spent a total of LESS THAN 30 seconds looking at my vehicle. I expressed my displeasure with the fact that I was never updated as a customer to this change in repair plan or informed of the new wait time. The Wednesday of the week I was supposed to get my car (I was told that Friday of that week my car would be ready) I still had not received any update and when I called I was given a strong promise the car would be ready Friday afternoon. Friday came and went with no call/text/email and when I asked to speak with my point person I ended up having to leave 2-3 messages over 1-2 days before receiving a text back about how again the tech working on my car dropped the ball and the car wasn't ready. Another week goes by before my car is ready and it sat in the center for two days before I was able to go get it and as I was driving home I noticed part of my electronic system had not been re-hooked up. I returned the car to DCC and they explained that nobody bothered to check the system and the car actually had to be taken to the AUDI dealership for the computer software. This happened on a Sat and the Following Tuesday AM my car was taken to Audi. I had been promised a 1-2 day turn around maximum and as of Wednesday afternoon I had, yet again received no update. I personally called Audi and was informed that they had not even looked at my vehicle yet. My point person at DCC informed me later on Wednesday evening that Audi had to order a part just to test my electronic system and that it would arrive Friday afternoon. As Friday came and went I, yet again, received no update as to my vehicle after expressing a strong desire for the DCC point person to give my a phone call update if not to only say "it is still delayed." I called Friday evening before closing multiple times and left multiple messages and still had no return call. Bottom Line is it is day 45 and I still have not gotten my vehicle returned to me. I have been overwhelmingly disappointment in the customer service and the lack of courteous with DCC. I do not know if it is a failure in their system or where the ball is being dropped. However, unfortunately I will NEVER again come back to this collision center. Of note, every person I spoke with over the phone was extremely courteous and nice. My car looked great, at least externally, by means of body work and I could not even tell it had been in accident. But the lack of customer service and the failure of their communication system as a company is unacceptable. read more
