Don't believe anything they tell you. Do not sign off on letting them receive the check directly from the insurance company. It will take twice as long then what they tell you. They are not setup with any special arrangements with rent car companies. You will have to furnish a credit card to the rental car company. Beware of the owner Gabriel! While I was traveling I encountered a severe hail storm in TX that did extensive damage to my truck.   I called around and spoke with Gabriel the owner about the repair process and decided to take my vehicle here.  My experience with this shop was filled with Lies, false promises,  and ended up costing me thousands of dollars.  The owner knew the situating going in but yet the 14 day estimate to repair the truck turned into 42 days.   They changed the scope of their work after receiving the money from my insurance, cost me weeks of additional accommodation costs,  told me 4 wrong dates that the truck would be ready (which cost me money because i planned around them), and promised to cover some of my expenses that they directly caused but ultimately dodged my phonecalls and never followed through. I will update this review with screenshots and photos of the deceipt after the case has been settled since now I am in the position where I must take the matter to court for a resolution. We had them do hail repair on two vehicles. The first car they dropped off had expired registration and in disrepair. The second car they dropped off was discovered useless since they had given us the wrong key, They also were hired to complete hail repairs on our home. This became an absolute joke. It was a constant run around getting things completed. The work started in December of 2022 and still not completed. We have been notified we no longer have a contract with them. Our garage doors which were to be replaced were only painted. They said they would complete but did not. The roof and window on our metal barn has had zero work done to it. STAY CLEAR!!!!! read more

MY CLENT , MS R. EGGERS OF FT WORTH, contracted dfw storm solutions to do her roof as wellas her car. the car was fine , but the roof never was nstalled and subsequently they were fired and a deposit refund was requested, but to no avail was it given back. Ms Eggers was told the deposit is not hers once it leaves her hands. That is the most ludicrous remark made by a business owner to a claims specalist that i can remember. Service is non existent here. My fiancé gave his car to DFW storm solutions after the hail storm. We were told we would get the car back in a few weeks due to the heavy volume which is understandable. We contacted them a few weeks later and the repairs were pushed back. Fast forward to two months later the car was still not repaired and not ready for us to pick up. Every time we would call or inquire they would avoid us which is horrible customer service. Not having your car for two months is stressful enough but to add to that DFW storm solutions not responding to us or giving us a proper time when our vehicle would be ready. It was like pulling to teeth just to connect with them. Save your self the stress and take your car to someone else who values their customers. read more

I'm very disappointed in the quality of work and communication here. I had 3 cars being repair here for hail damage. I had to called numerous times to get update of my 3 cars repair progress, since I didn't receive any update via email or text as promised. Each time I called they ensure my cars is in good hand and they seem to be very proud of their work. We had hail damage to 2 cars. They told us the ole have it done in a week spiel. 9 weeks later we got the cars back that still had damage, some caused by their own techs. This was back in March of 2022 and I still havent had all the work completed yet because of the run around. No need to show up in their shop either, did that twice, no difference just more smoke blown up you know where. No matter what they promise, stay far away from these people. Im so glad they didnt do the roof of my house too. The owner Gabriel even lies to your face so you can imagine how the shop is ran. My next stop is a lawyer since they put a hole in the driver's seat leather, in correctly installed a new windshield, and caused electronic issues and no longer have "hand-free" entry on my wife's car. You have to push the button on the FOB to lock/unlock the doors. Dont let the good reviews fool you either because they are probably from friends/family members since they have no morals and dont stand behind their own mottos of Calm after the storm crap. I heard about DFW Storm Solutions through a co-worker of mine after they had gotten some work done. They were impressed with what the company offered, so I decided to finally get my hail damage looked at. My first impression was a phone call with the owner, Gabriel. He was personable and knowledgeable as he explained the process. The next day, he came and personally picked up my car from my office and left me a rental car AT HIS EXPENSE. (Yes, you read that right - he covered my rental car AND, I might add, my deductible!) By the end of the day, he called with my estimate and as soon as my insurance company sent an adjuster out, he got the ball rolling on the repairs. When my car was finished, he brought it back to me at work and picked up the rental. When I came outside to exchange keys, I immediately noticed that my oxidized headlight had been cleaned! I had never mentioned that to him - he just took care of it at no extra charge. Overall, I was incredibly impressed with the service I received. Wouldn't be my first or second option for hail repairs. I work for insurance and it seems to be no sort of communicating. Sure they give you a loaner car which by the way had no gas, dog hair all in it, bad battery which the car wouldn't start at times. Only two stars in my opinion by the way i was told someone would pick there loaner vehicle up for the last two weeks since i live in McKinney and my vehicle was total loss and there vehicle is still sitting in my parking lot and no one contacts me at all. I was so impressed with the whole process. Customer service was outstanding. They made it so easy for me bringing my rental car to my house, picking up my car, and returning it to my house. Totally hassle free. When they brought my car to me, I saw one dent on the window frame that hadn't been repaired, and they whisked it away and brought it back repaired the next day. Back in January, DFW Storm Solutions did some hail damage repair on our Honda Accord. They did an excellent job and we rated them highly. Our car still looks great (it would be even better if we had time to wash it). :) The agreement was that DFW Storm Solutions would repair our car at no cost to us. But suddenly, several months later, I am receiving a bill from Hertz for a car rental fee for $240, which I was told I wouldn't be charged for. Hertz is saying that they didn't get paid so we are responsible for what is owed to them. I disagree! I called DFW Storm Solutions. I left messages in 3 mailboxes. I will keep you up-to-date on how this is handled. UPDATE: DFW Storm Solutions comes through again. In fact, my husband and I jumped the gun in assuming this was their issue, as it seems that Hertz is the company that did not handle things correctly. Within 10 minutes of leaving the voicemail messages, we got a call from Paul who told us that this was definitely a paperwork error and Hertz should never have billed us. He assured us that he would have the payment taken care of same day - and he did. On top of that, someone else contacted us through our FB post and kept us informed. Amazing company!! Made my car look brand new with an amazing paint job. Not a hail dent in sight. They even went out of their way to tweak some small things like my windshield visors and reattached them. They delivered my car to my house sparkling! Got my car back, it took quite awhile. Beware they are not the greatest when it comes to keeping you informed, and it took about 8 weeks. The work done however was meticulous at least in my case. If you can deal with the wait and have another vehicle they do cover the deductible and deliver your car back to you. At one point i was pulling my hair out because i could not get in contact. Right after a hail storm i believe they book a little to much. If you can wait awhile after a storm rolls through i'm sure it would not be as bad. read more

I think this is the worst business I have ever had to encounter. I wish I could give them a 0 rating. They "fixed" my car and put a new roof on my house. Long story short, my car came back (after them having it for almost two months) to me and my car started coming apart while driving it within 6 weeks. No other repair place would touch it b/c they didn't want to be liable. My car became unsafe to drive. It began to shake, the hood was put on incorrectly, both tire fenders came off and had something hanging from the bottom. 2 different car places looked at my car and said that it was put back together incorrectly and bolts weren't tightened; the other place said that they did a piss poor job. My car was a 2019.... I reached out to them multiple times. The owner said that he would have it fixed and then stopped answering my calls. He would tell other workers that he called me back which was not true. After my roof got installed by their workers, nobody from the company came by to see if it was put on correctly. I haven't had any problems with the roof, but I am concerned since my car turned out this way. I literally had to go and buy a new car. They received a lot of business from my neighborhood.. and they are not reputable. I understand that some people had luck but definitely not me and some others that I have read. They should have fixed it correctly or gave me the money back in which I could have used as a down payment on my new car. I told the insurance company but they couldn't do anything. Going to start out with a quick summary... PROS - no cost to me, no more dents, fleet cars available, will come to you to pick up and deliver your car CONS - took four months start to finish, several spots where paint is chipped, received car with a fuse blown, communication* *I will say, the times I was in touch with Jessica (who guided me through the process), she was always very pleasant. Okay, now if you want to know the details of my experience, I recommend you grab a fresh cup of coffee and get comfortable. Let me start out by saying that in most cases (including mine), getting your hail damage repaired here won't cost a dime. Since it literally didn't cost me anything, I can't really be too upset about the results. I reached out to the business back in May about getting some pretty significant hail damage on my Mazda3 repaired. I don't have rental coverage, so I was put on the wait list for a fleet car. I was told it would be about a month before they would have one available for me. I was really glad they offered this convenient service, so I didn't mind waiting. In the meantime, I proceeded with the claim process. The evaluator came out and estimated $2500 in damage. Over the following months, I called the business several times. It was rare for someone to pick up. I left several messages (on a machine and once or twice to a person) that went unanswered. Finally August came around, and just as I was about to give up, they contacted me to let me know they had a fleet car ready. I dropped my car off to their location in Irving. I was told they'd need to update the estimate and get approval from my insurance company, then the work itself would only take a few days. The process of getting their estimate approved took nearly two weeks, which was surprising because the insurance company had gotten my initial claim handled within 36 hours. Then I saw that the new estimate was for nearly $6500, and I understood why. Once they got approval they began work. I was thinking it would be a few days, but it was another two weeks before they were ready. Once again, I was grateful they offered fleet car service. They were extremely flexible with the use of the car as well. I had planned a weekend trip to Houston thinking I would have my car back, but when it wasn't ready, they said it was no problem for me to take their car. Finally, a day short of a month after I dropped my car off to them, they delivered my car to my apartment parking garage for me, which was once again, a really nice service. However, there was a miscommunication, and my file noted I didn't have a fleet car. While that didn't really affect me at all, it does raise a little concern about the organization and record keeping at the company. I was working from home that day so I didn't have much time to take a break. I took a quick look around the car and didn't see any remaining dents. So I signed the release and off they went. Well, I got in the car to go move it to my parking spot and it wouldn't start using the push button start. I called Frank (who had dropped off my car) and he was very nice to come back to help me start it. He said that the remote battery was dead, and that was how they received the car. When I dropped it off though, it had been working perfectly. It also struck me as odd since the light on the remote was still blinking, but when he put the key in the ignition it worked.. mostly. I replaced the battery in my remote, but the issues persisted. Not only would the car not start, the power locks, cabin lights, and radio weren't working either. It was clear the problem wasn't with the remote battery. After investigation, I figured out that at some point in the repair a fuse was blown. Luckily a cheap fix, but still a bit time consuming to figure out on my own (I'm not the most car savvy person). I think that is definitely something they should've been able to catch, but the release I quickly signed did say it was on me to verify the electrical system was working. Enough about the whole extended process, let me talk about results. The countless dents are gone. However, there are several, albeit very small, paint chips. These can be problematic down the road, so I'll probably have to order some touch up paint and try my hand at covering them up. All in all, if you're patient and okay with some imperfections and slight inconveniences because you aren't paying anything, definitely go with DFW Storm Solutions. I felt compelled to share my experience because going into it the situation seemed to good to be true and I had no idea what to expect. Said they would also send a gift card for the inconvenience with the right color paint, still waiting 2 months later this is why they didn't get my husbands truck. I wouldn't recommend this place. It took him just 2 weeks to get it back in perfect shape (like new) given that my car was badly damaged especially on the roof. He's very knowledgeable and has been doing this for a while. Would not take another vehicle there. When having hail damage repaired, ordered a custom fiberglass hood and also requested they return my OEM hood to me. After multiple trips, they refused to correct the issue with the hood that they caused. Hood is extremely wavy due to improper prep being done before paint. Had many conversations between them and the hood vendor and now I am stuck with a hood that does not look good. They also threw away my OEM hood supposedly the day before returning my vehicle to me. Also, if you look at their parking lot, they try to cram every vehicle in there that they can. The last time I picked up my vehicle, I did a walk around and noted a nice door ding on my passenger door. When I originally brought the vehicle in, the only notable blemish on the vehicle was a 1.5" scratch on the driver side passenger door close to the window. I now have a vehicle with a crappy looking hood and a door ding. I will take it somewhere else to have the door ding repaired, no telling what would happen to my vehicle if I took it back to them for more work. 1 more note, I also had them replace the entire front end to freshen it up since it sits low and had some scratches. When they originally told me the vehicle was ready to be picked up, i showed up and the front bumper was not aligned and I could easily move it up and down.
