I had recently inherited my dad's C4 corvette Indy pace car and wanted the convertible top fixed, as it didn't seal and let in water, along with several cosmetic touches like adding visors. After several months they called and said it was ready to go. I should have refused immediately when they said they replaced my convertible top with one that no longer had an inner liner, so it looked tacky and not remotely the quality of the one I already had on it. Further, the "new" top still didn't seal and had visible gaps at the windows still allowing rain in. Also, it was clearly used and NOT new. As we tried to leave, my car ran out of gas before we exited the property, because they had clearly been driving it a lot. Then in the 1/4 mile drive to get on 635, the "brand new" visor literally fell off and was dangling by the exposed wire (see pic and text with timeline). They hadn't screwed it back in or lined up the screws. I called them immediately and they claimed they had too much business and asked it I could drop it off in a few weeks when things calmed down. I called close to a dozen times over the following 6 months and they never would see me much less agree to fix their shoddy work. Other than the fact that they had literally had it for 6 months, the push for me to get it back was due to my wife's birthday the next day and we planned to go for a ride. SO disappointing. Further, they tried to overcharge me by thousands. I found NEW parts at full retail prices in the official corvette book and they were all less than they were charging me for the crappy used parts they put on my car. DO NOT trust them with anything you care about.

As soon as I spoke with Gabby, I knew i was going to allow her shop to repair my vehicle. Have you ever felt safe and welcomed by someone offering a service? Well that's seriously this place! Even when my insurance company attempted to stress me the hell out, I never became overwhelmed due to her empathy and compassion. Listen- she's knowledgeable, straight forward, she keeps you informed, she explains everything in away that you'd understand. Don't be afraid to explain any situations you have and she will definitely provide all options!! I will NEVER allow anyone else to touch my vehicle for things that can be performed here. Any shop that offers a 10% discount in exchange for a positive review should, in my opinion, be approached with caution. My experience with this shop was far from positive. A truck that had 250,000 miles on it and was showing signs that should have raised some serious questions about a failing head gasket. Instead, I was led through a series of costly repairs that basically treated the symptoms instead of finding the actual problem. Those repairs ultimately failed within a few weeks. They also installed what I believe were cheap aftermarket parts, including the wrong front struts. When I brought it to their attention, instead of taking responsibility and replacing them, they wanted to charge me to install a lift on the rear of the truck to compensate for the front end sitting higher than the rear. WTF? Another big concern was the price and quality of the parts. When I asked about the brand of the parts they were installing, which seemed they were hesitant to reveal, I was surprised to find what appeared to be nearly a 100% markup compared with retail prices. Their invoices also don't identify the brand or manufacturer of the parts, so you really don't know what you're paying for. In my experience, the parts were marked up an unreasonable amount, especially considering the quality. Looking back, I feel like the focus was more on getting me to authorize additional repairs rather than properly figuring out what was actually wrong with the truck, knowing Id probably just cut my losses if I had been told the truth about the head gasket from the beginning. I originally brought my truck here because I was trying to avoid dealership prices. Unfortunately, when I finally took it to the dealership, that's when I learned what was actually wrong with the truck, which was in fact the head gasket and the wrong struts installed. The dealership also asked me if I had ever used a quick sealant in my engine because of the sludge they found in the radiator overflow, the radiator that auto clinique just replaced. I don't have proof, but definitely raised even more concerns about the shop practices. I was so hopeful that I had found an honest shop, but sadly, I'd have to say they are far from it. And Ray, I'm not interested in you telling me how you offer a year warranty on your parts and repairs. Thank you

Dent Mechanic Group was the most reasonably priced estimate that I received. The quote even included a discount as a "thank you" for using Yelp to find the business. I called in to discuss the quote and was assisted by David, who was such a pleasure to speak with that I decided to use Dent Mechanic Group for my car repairs. Further assisting me with scheduling my car drop-off was Faith, who was equally as pleasant as David. On the day of drop-off, I happened to be walking toward the main office at the same time as two mechanics who struck up a quick friendly conversation about the company. Great things must be happening here to keep employee morale high :) Whatever it is, is certainly appreciated. It took DMG about a week to complete the dent repairs to my car. It may be cliche to say, but the bumper really did turn out looking brand new. An added perk that I wasn't expecting was that my car was also detailed prior to me picking it up. The team handled all paperwork and communication with our insurance company. I had a minor issue with the rental car. I made a phone call, explained the situation.
