Contacted DFW Bumper Solutions after an unfortunate encounter with another car's trailer hitch. They contacted me back in minutes, made the appointment for the next day. They gave me a two-hour window for their arrival and showed up 15 minutes into that window. The whole job, including some preexistent scuffing on the side of the bumper, took about two hours, all done in my driveway. The color match and finish is impeccable and the price is less than a third of what a body shop would have cost me, not counting leaving the vehicle and having to get a rental while they did it. 10 days later finally Jacob with Christian fixed the Cadillac properly. I decided to live with the cooper the way it was. They were here for 2 1/2 hours. I still am not of the mind that good bodywork can be done in that amount of time. (my previous review states that Christian was doing three bumpers in an eight hour time slot and I think he took on too much. ) But the car does look better and I'm glad to close this chapter.I am leaving DFW bumper solutions in my rearview mirror. The tech (Shannon) arrived early and I wasn't home, but I left my car unlocked in the driveway in case he wanted to get started, which to my pleasure he did. When I arrived about 30 minutes later, he had already removed the tail light housing, sanded, shaped the bumper and was waiting for it to dry before smoothing it out to prime and paint. He got the curve of the bumper perfectly by hand, and the paint and clear coat blend is invisible. It looks great. I also asked about a stain (drip, probably something like brake fluid on the clear coat) on another part of the car. He got rid of it as well. He was not in a rush and made sure to do the entire job correctly. The price was what I had expected in my head before shopping around. Asked for a quote to realign a non collision front bumper that was slightly pulled out from backing out of the garage. The fix took me 15 minutes of wrenching and a new bumper clip to fix. First they wanted to replace the whole bumper, wanted my VIN. Crazy. When I explained to them that I didn't want my bumper replaced (because it still looks perfect), just wanted realigned, they wanted $350. For 15 minutes of wrenching and a new bumper clip. I am ecstatic about this. My car was a week old and the body shop wanted $1650 for a 4 inch bumper scratch. They answered me by text late Sunday night. Then officially followed the next mornin. They are very hard to reach and do their business through text. When you call, you don't get an answer, and their voice-mail is always full, so you can't leave a message. I had a dent with missing paint on the passenger front door. They did a great job in fixing the dent and matching my paint. When they fixed my car, it had rained. And I had a lot of dirt on my vehicle. Once I was able to wash my car, I noticed fingerprints in paint on my car, messing up my factory paint in an area that was not being repaired. I have been unable to reach anyone at the company to discuss, so beware of this.
