In 24 hours they stole my specialty license plates and even told my claims representative they would NOT return them and they never did. Had a rough month leading into meeting Awesome Auto Body, after the accident I was in shock, didn't realize calling the cops was a necessity if the other driver is just completely awful after exchanging info. I tried about 3 shops before this, some with no response and and some not willing to take my truck in due to its age. Awesome Auto Body answered on the first call, put me at ease, and just told me to head on in. I have never met so many technical savvy humble individuals. I just know Paul and Chris took really good care of me, and I'm sure there are plenty more in the background doing good work. My truck hasn't looked this good in over the last 8 years. My only complaint was that the drop off process seemed so seamless that I thought I might've lost my car in a scam. But I followed up, they knew exactly where they were in the process of my truck and insurance agent, and told me they will update me when necessary. Please if you need work done, give these guys a call, I am very nervous to even get my oil changed at times, but I would go back to these guys even if I am no longer in the Dallas area! read more

**Update** ***STRONGLY WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS SHOP FOR REPAIRS*** I literally picked my car up on 9/14. I have a whole splash guard and skid plate assembly missing. Replacing my spark plugs looked under the car and yeah no skid plate. Paul could you please reach out to me so that the item I had to personally replaced on my vehicle that was OEM from Honda placed back onto my vehicle. Since the original repairs from Scott had loose bolts that caused from the original replacement that your shop refused to fix. This is not right. Honestly this is theft at this point. Before y'all say you didn't have or it wasn't on the car. Please remember my insurance took photos of my vehicle, the tow truck and myself took photos, and as well as the dealership when the vehicle was released back to me. When it was towed to the shop, now my entire under front shield and skid plate is missing. I just want my property back. I also would like a copy of the specs for my structure that was paid for or provide reimbursement back to my insurance to allow for my vehicle to be properly inspected. This honestly feels very intentional, especially with my oil and filter being exposed. Yet somehow I told my insurance that I didn't feel comfortable with taking my vehicle back for repairs and this is the prime example of why I felt the way I did. If my car was properly fixed the first time vs trying to defraud or working with Thomas from Geico that y'all have a close relationship, we could've avoided this whole situation. Also, I'm taking my vehicle soon back to Honda and praying that the parts they had to replace from your original faulty repair is still on my vehicle. Tell Scott that was the best advice he ever told me. Take it to Honda. I encourage anyone to go and have their cars throughly inspected by the dealership after you use this repair shop. Again, if my parts that Honda replaced is not on my car after inspection. Please be prepared for what is about to come. This is considered premeditated risk to the driver. Knowing and willing to cause potential harm is not a good look. Will update soon. Received almost 9k in repair expenses from my insurance. Let's just say 3000 was repaired. I'm sure the shop pocketed about 6k. Will update soon with a further review. Once investigation is completed. Faulty parts was place on vehicle. My insurance paid the shop almost 9k in expense. 3k was probably used to fix my car and 6000 was for sure pocketed. There's a gap in the shop story, they probably have someone at David McDavid Honda probably paid under the table to pass inspection on my vehicle. **Pictures are of the car when it was delivered after having the car for 44 total days** Unprofessional, Rude, False Promises Waste of time (Had my car for a total of 44 Days for a bumper repaint due to rock chips) Horrible Prep Work & Lazy | (taping, sanding, not taking the bumper off the vehicle the first time since there's tape lines on my fenders. As well as picture of my car taped up being sprayed in the parking lot, took the bumper off the 2nd time and now i have broken clips) Overspray on my entire vehicle Claimed to have spent over $1000 for parts and labor to keep correcting the issue and it looks exactly the same the first time they worked on it. (Pictures to prove it)⁣⁣⁣ He even returned my car with a damaged rear bumper and claims his shop did not cause it. But I have pictures of my car before he took it and his porter was the ones that picked the car up and dropped it off to me.⁣⁣⁣ I have everything recorded in text of all of Scott's false promises, excuses. I had a car that needed some minor cosmetic repairs, but every place I wound up calling was basically trying to sell me a whole new piece, plus the cost of painting. I called Paul, he asked me to snap a few pictures of the damage and gave me an estimate via text message. I was still wary since folks in this industry can often give you a bait and switch to get you in the door, but I took my chances and swung over. The car was done in two days, looks phenomenal and the paint matches perfectly with no overspray etc. The cost was the price he quoted me and not a dollar more. And to boot, they are super nice and friendly, communicative and ensured the car looked better than when I dropped it off. All in all, any issue I have that needs some cosmetic love, I'll be calling Paul back and dropping my car off with him. I just moved to Dallas. I drove a rental down here while my Camry was being transported. When I got my Camry back the undercarriage was dragging all over the ground making a horrible noise. The idiotic movers said that they weren't going to do anything. I went to return my rental car to a nearby Enterprise store and I asked them if they had recommendations on a place I could get a quick fix. They gave Awesome Auto Body glowing recommendations and said they are quick and professional. I figured a car rental company would know where the best auto body is. So I showed up unannounced, parked my car in a spot as best as I could since they were just filled to the brim with cars. I went inside and a man was very courteous, helped me right away, checked out my car, took my keys, and said he'll fix it right up. Just 10 minutes later my car was as good as new and that it was free of charge. I was astounded. After a stressful move this was a respite that was desperately needed. I'm hoping to stay in the Dallas area for the next many years and these guys have earned at the very least my next auto body business. Also they have vicious junkyard dogs guarding their business (just kidding they have two extremely gentle dogs in the office, a Rottweiler and a Basset Hound, who love pettings and behind the ear scratches.). They didn't make much money compared to all the auto body work that they typically do since I brought in the spoiler myself. That says a lot about their care for their customers.
