This place was great!! After I hit a parked car(genius,I know) I contacted these guys. They had my car towed to their shop within two hours. I'm very skeptical when it comes to any kind of Body or Mechanical work on my vehicles. These days I expect for most places to do everything they can to jack up the cost. And who am I to know whether or not I'm being lied to? But these guys were very personable. Not once did I feel rushed or made to feel like I was in the way. When I called, they answered all my questions and when they didn't have an answer, they admitted it and said they'd find out and get right back with me. Which they did. I cannot tell you how many places have left me hanging and calling asking "what's the deal!?, Kinda need my car back!" Bergmans only had my 2011 Ford Fusion for 9 days. Seriously, I couldn't believe it. I truly expected 3-5 weeks. They offered me a loaner car, at NO COST! I'm not sure if that applies to all but I was shocked! The cost to me was far less than I would have expected, given the extent of the damage(basically totaled) and the incredibly short duration my car was there. Let me put it this way. I TOOK THE TIME OUT OF MY DAY TO WRITE A REVIEW!!! I've NEVER written a review but I feel I should, BC people always post the negative. Here's a REALLY great business, something positive! Short version: shoddy, careless workmanship and terribly poor customer service. Stay away from Bergman Collision. --------- I could not be more displeased with the work of Bergman Collision in Farmers Branch. Two years ago, I took my car there to replace a damaged hood and grille. This work required the new hood to be painted and blended on to the fenders. They didn't get the paint right and were surprised that I could tell a difference. Thankfully, they acknowledged their error and corrected the paint. Fast forward two years. The clear coat on one of my fenders began to peel because of their amateur paint work. When I called to ask for the work to be fixed under a lifetime warranty, they declined. They had no record that the work required blending. However, it is plainly obvious that the paint of the fenders matches the hood and does not exactly match the original paint on the car. Their only concern was that they were not paid for this work. Even after the owner visually inspected the paint, he would not acknowledge the fenders had been painted with the hood and are not honoring their lifetime warranty. After speaking with their painter, they finally acknowledged their work and decided to honor the warranty. I scheduled a time to bring my car in for repair and they promised me a loaner vehicle. When I arrive the loaner isn't available because the owner was using it for his personal errands. I scheduled a new time to bring my car in and left. When I finally picked up my car following the repair of the clear coat on my fender, the work has been completed as haphazardly as possible. The clear coat is ridged at the end of the two panels and does not transition smoothly. The new clear has already begun to chip following the removal of their masking tape. Upon further inspection, there is overspray on plastic trim and my wheels. Whatever method they used to wash my vehicle has resulted in staining on the brushed trim and the rubber door seals. After numerous attempts to contact the owner to discuss my troubles, he continues to be out of the office. I'm am continually disappointed with their workmanship and poor customer service. If this wasn't warranty work, I would not be a returning customer. Please stay away from Bergman's Collision. read more

I hope I don't have to go back to see Bergman Collision anytime soon, but I highly recommend them! I just had my 2017 Mini Cooper repaired/repainted here, after scratching the entire side of the vehicle, including passenger door, door handle, wheel cover and tire. From initial phone call to pickup, the customer service was excellent and I'm very impressed with the work on my car. Both timing of repair and overall cost were fantastic. The dealer body shop quoted me at least two weeks and $1000 more than Bergman Collision. I also was super impressed that they detailed the inside of my vehicle! read more

Someone damaged my Audi SR5 rear quarter panel when I was parked. The dealer recommended a body shop that is apparently owned by Audi. I was told the repair would take 3 weeks and would cost $3600. My insurance broker recommended Bergman. I was told the repair would cost $950 (25% of the Audi estimate) and the repair would take 5 days (33% of the Audi estimate). The work was done as promised, on time and was PERFECT (and they even dropped my car off at my home). Glad I got a second opinion. Great Service, Friendly Staff. I was recently in a hit and run, and Service King and other Collision Shops were telling me that it would take over a month to complete work on my car. Bergman was able to complete it in 2 weeks. Mike and Dave really helped me out with my car and helped me with special accommodations to my vehicle. Dave would always call me and give me updates on all correspondence with my insurance carrier. It's never good to be in a car accident, but if It ever happens again, this is the place I will bring in my car. I find it extremely difficult to trust repair shops with my vehicle and have had many less than desirable experiences in the past. My parents have used Bergman's Paint & Body for many years for major bodywork repairs as well as small jobs only requiring parts needing paint. I needed work done on my 06 Mustang and figured my family must go there for a reason, so I gave them a shot. Under all circumstances the end result was above my high expectations and only solidifies why my family continues to use this shop! The quote for the job was more than fair, timeframe reasonable, and the work was completed flawlessly.
