    The right rear bumper of my Corolla was dented when the driver of a pickup truck with a tow hatch backed in to my car in a parking lot. The driver asked if I'd accept payment out-of-pocket for repair expenses, and I agreed. I decided to use Yelp to submit requests for repair quotes from mechanic shops. Dent Mechanic Group was the most reasonably priced estimate that I received. The quote even included a discount as a "thank you" for using Yelp to find the business. I called in to discuss the quote and was assisted by David, who was such a pleasure to speak with that I decided to use Dent Mechanic Group for my car repairs. Further assisting me with scheduling my car drop-off was Faith, who was equally as pleasant as David. On the day of drop-off, I happened to be walking toward the main office at the same time as two mechanics who struck up a quick friendly conversation about the company. Great things must be happening here to keep employee morale high :) Whatever it is, is certainly appreciated. It took DMG about a week to complete the dent repairs to my car. It may be cliche to say, but the bumper really did turn out looking brand new. An added perk that I wasn't expecting was that my car was also detailed prior to me picking it up. If the unfortunate occurs and you're in need of auto body repairs, I'd highly recommend Dent Mechanic Group.

    Plainly spoken, quantity over quality. They rushed the job, made plenty of mistakes, replaced a window that didn't need to be replaced, ( my entire vehicle has dark tint) took months to get it tinted and now the exterior trim is rubbing while closing the door, panels are rattling and a now it's back to having to make time to back to the shop and have to "prove" that it was their work that truly is needing the repair.

    100% satisfied with my experience! I dented the driver side rear door, quarter panel and wheelhouse molding of my brand new Audi SQ5 a few months after receiving it and my heart dropped. I immediately reached out to multiple body shops in the DFW for quotes. I worked with David to receive a quote via yelp and was at first a little skeptical because DMG quoted me about half the price of other shops, but decided to give them a shot because of all the rave reviews they've received. Needless to say, they have earned my trust! My car looks brand new. The paint match is perfect; I can't even tell where the dents / scrapes were before. David was so easy to work with from start to finish. He always answered my calls and addressed all my questions patiently. David and Mack were both present at my pick up and did a thorough walkthrough with me of my car. Not only did DMG do a great job with the repair at an affordable price, they were able to take my car in at my convenience, completed the work in just about a week, and my car was spotless inside and out at pick up. This was the least painful car repair experience I have ever had and I can't recommend David and the DMG team enough!

    Like others, after a hail storm I was visited by a representative of Dent Mechanic offering services to repair the hail damage on my car. I was skeptical at first because he was very adamant and would go to my house unexpectedly to see if I was ready to proceed and start the process and kept referring to their reviews. After a few weeks I finally decided to let them do the hail repair on my vehicle due to the convince (or so I thought) of them picking up the car and bringing a rental for the duration of the repair. The day they came to pick up my car a guy shows up with a rental that had damage to the bumper. I refused to accept that rental because of the damage and told them my insurance had scheduled a rental with enterprise I could pick up instead. Pedro, the scheduler, was adamant that I did not get the rental my insurance scheduled and said he had another rental that was being sent out. Soon after, the driver did bring another rental however, this rental was dirty. It had not been washed or vacuumed. The driver said this was the only rental vehicle they had available and he didn't get a chance to clean it. Fine, I accepted it. When they returned my car the hail damage was repaired but I noticed some chips in the paint on the driver's side right away. I called the scheduler and told him of this right away before the driver left. At first he insisted the damage was pre existing. I took photos and sent them to him showing him the new damage and he said he had to get someone else to review it and give me a call back. The following week the guy that had initially convinced me to get the services done came out to compare photos and review the damage. He showed me the photos he had and agreed the damage was not pre existing as it was not on the photos taken prior to taking my car and said he would talk to his manager. After another week he told me the damage look like "sharp rock chips" (which it did not) and said they were going to do a paint job to repair the damage. I asked how this paint job was going to be done because I did not want them to simply apply paint over the damage because the chip was still going to be noticeable. No one was able to tell me the process they just said it will fix the chip and as a courtesy they would touch up any other chips that were pre existing. After another week of not getting answers I decided to let them "fix" the chip and I even told them, "I dont care about the pre existing damage I just want y'all to fix the damage that was done while the car was in your care." Turns out they hired a third party who was a mobile painter to come out to my house to do the "paint job" for the damage that was done while in their care. I sent pedro a text notifying him it was a horrible job and literally looks like paint was applied over but ofcourse haven't received a response and it's been well over 24 hrs. At this point I know not to expect a call from Dent Mechanic because it seems like they avoid communication if there is conflict involved. Image of what Dent Mechanic claimed was "rock chips". This damage was done during the time they had my car in their care.

    Never again trusting anyone who walks the neighborhoods advertising their business this was the most awful experience ever let's just say i learned my lesson and won't be using this company ever again I trusted the employees who came and knocked on my door and told me about this business they explained all the benefits of using them they even told me they could fix the hail damage on my vehicle and were very confident it would get done which is why I used them they gave me a rental car to use in the meantime while they had my car come to find out they decided my car was not fixable and had my insurance company total out my car not to mention they never once told me that there was going to be a storage fee of keeping my vehicle so I had to pay a lot of money just to get my car back from them and when I got my car back I inspected it to make sure nothing was wrong as I was checking I noticed lots and lots of scratches that were not there when they took it and my paint was messed up like they hit my door with something I am not happy with this company at all so I took my vehicle to get a second opinion and they told me my car should of never been totaled out and it could've been fixed and company's like this want nothing but your money and your insurance money they don't care about you or your vehicle they will tell you literally anything to get you to use them my insurance company won't let me reverse it because they told them they didn't believe it was fixable I've only had my car 4 months it's my first car and now I have to let it go since I decided to use this rip off of a company my fault for being so trusting of people it's sad how they do this to people

    Sent them photos of my dent on yelp. They quickly responded with an estimate ($300-$400). They called me to schedule an appointment. Car was dropped off at 10am and fixed at 1pm. Cost $400. The repair work was excellent. The estimate and actual cost was excellent. Politeness was excellent. There was a little bit of confusion about my appointment when I dropped it off but it turned out ok.

Travis not only handled our deductible issue, he continued to work with our insurance company throughout the process to ensure everything was covered. Travis even began the process by ensuring my wife had a rental car, despite having coverage thru insurance. No job is to small...a neighbor went by for a small dent. Travis advised on the cost using a dent scale. And even made the cost accommodating so as to ensure he left as a happy and satisfied customer.     I'm certain everyone reading this has heard of the "red carpet " treatment. Wait for it....... Well the Dent Mechanic Group has elevated the aforementioned thought process and has perfected what I call world-class " GOLD CARPET" treatment. As a consumer first and a now devoted customer I was blown away by the delivery process of my rental to the craftsmanship that went into restoring my vehicle to its condition before the hailstorm. There was no out of pocket expense for the rental and they waived my deductible. Now for those that are accustomed to the first class customer service provided by any high-end brand rest assured that the Dent Mechanic Group takes customer care and rapport to all new heights.     NEVER TAKE YOUR CAR TO THIS SHOP FOR REPAIR! On December…read more20,2024 I was involved in a minor accident on the Tollway. The right rear panel and rear passenger door were damaged. The car was easily driveable however a tow truck appeared and offered to take my car to the nearest collision center which was Xtreme Collision. It was not a preferred shop for State Farm Insurance but I was reassured by both the shop and State Farm that this was not unusual and the repairs could be done there. I thought it would be a 6 week project and all would be well. Week after week ,month after month I was told it was progressing. I finally went down to the shop and was shocked to see that they had completely dismantled my car, replacing parts that were not damaged in the accident. The car was leased, only three years old , low milage and high residual value. I was told that dismantling of my car was necessary in order to paint it appropriately. Soon my allotted rental car appropriation had been exhausted and I was then renting from Enterprise at my own expense. The lease on my damaged car was up at the end of April and then I was paying daily lease on the car in the shop since I had no car to return at the lease end. In late May the shop still was unable to complete the work and State Farm decided to declare the car a total loss and cut their losses with the shop. The shop would have received several thousand more if they had finished the job. The fact that they decided to accept the lesser payment for a total loss suggests that they were unable to finish the job. I believe that this shop is dishonest, deceptive and incompetent. They did way more on my car than necessary in order to gain more payment from the insurance company. In the end they had taken it apart and were too incompetent to put it back together again. I had a 4000 dollar rental from Enterprise because I was without a car for over 5 months . I had continued lease liability on the car in the shop because I could not turn it in on time. As noted above, the total time of this ordeal was 5 months, two weeks.

When we arrived, the front‑desk ladies were friendly and checked us in without a hitch. My technician Brad was awesome. He thoroughly inspected the car, patiently answered all of our questions, and even offered balanced, "in‑your‑shoes" recommendations to guide our car‑buying decision. He was professional, caring, easy to work with, and went well beyond what I expected. If you're shopping for a pre‑owned vehicle and want true peace of mind, I can't recommend Xtreme Collision highly enough. I didn't and now I'm stuck with a ton of damage to my brand new car with only 3,500 miles. My car was damaged while in their possession and they refuse to take responsibility. The insurance company allowed to remove and reset my bumper. So when I brought the damage to their attention and said that it looks like it happened when they removed and reset my bumper, they advised me that they in fact didn't remove and replace my bumper. So they took money from me for work not completed. They tried to give me a song and dance about how they applied that money to something else, but never provided an updated estimate. If you look at the photos, you'll see that the scratches on the front come from underneath. And the paint is peeling on with side where the bumper meets the fender. Also, they replaced glass and didn't realize it had tint like the rest of my car. Who has untinted windows in Texas? I had to call them for a week to get them to take care of it like they should have in the first place. The only reason I gave two stars was because they did a nice job on the work I hired them to do (paintless dent repair). Do yourself a favor and take your car somewhere else.
