I highly recommend this shop! They are SO kind and caring about their customers. If it doesn't need to be fixed, they won't BS you into something you don't need. I've been taking my Audi Q7 here for about 6 months and will not go anywhere else for any repairs or maintenance for my car. Highly Recommend! read more

I've used this company for 15 years or so without leaving a review. Tha is unfair to them, as they have always provided capable, economic, friendly service. I will continue to take my cars to Autobahn. Way to go guys! read more

May 4, 2026.....I am 76 years old (driving since age 16)...I have owned several different cars (mostly sportscars over the years - and have used many different auto shops & dealerships for maintenance. "Autobahn Service Center" of Plano, Texas (hands down) is the BEST auto shop I have ever used!!! I own a 1997 BMW Z3 Roadster (convertible) 5 Speed that I have completely restored. Autobahn has replaced my clutch & flywheel; new Struts & Shocks; Battery; (2) serpentine hoses in the engine compartment; a couple of exterior lights that needed replacing; Oil & Oil Filter Changes & more. Autobahn has been in business for I believe over 45 years. GREAT service, Fair pricing and very friendly customer service! I highly recommend Autobahn to everyone in the entire North Dallas area & suburbs. If I could give this auto shop "6 Stars", I would. Thank You Autobahn for the great service you have provided to me for the past 8 Years! Sincerely, Bob Wainner - Plano, Texas. Note: I live in Plano, Texas NOT San Francisco. read more

I had servicing for BMW 750i. Had a coolant leak and other services completed. Very professional and helpful. Farnoosh was professional and helped answer all questions of services. It did take some time to complete. I felt service was well within range and quality. They sent service requests and was able to move forward to an affordable quote. We negotiated options as we wanted certainties of service. I'd use their service. read more

I brought my Volkswagens here after both the headlights went out at the same time. I was concerned there might be an electrical issue. They were an extremely busy and didn't have an open appointment for about a month, but they said they would do their best to fit it in. They guys in the office were super kind and professional. They called me later that day, it was just the bulbs, which they had replaced. They charged me $0. I'm speechless. I didn't know people still did things like that. They also vacuumed the car out. I'll definitely bring my car back here!!! read more

We have been using them for years for our Jaguars and Mercedes. Excellent service, personnel and it is close to our home. Plus, on a good day they give me a ride home. read more

Dropped off the car in the morning for an oil change. Car was done, cleaned and ready for pickup before noon. Very reasonable price. No upsell. Will return when/if I need any service. read more

Autobahn Service Center has been consistently fast, fair and friendly. For several years, we've trusted our vehicles to Autobahn. They are quick to diagnose and present plans to handle the situations, often showing different and recommended options. They have always honored their estimates and often finished with total less than the original quote. Farnoosh and Ray are excellent with their clients. Regular status calls and frequent updates are examples of what sets them apart from dealer experiences. You can tell that they enjoy and appreciate their customers. read more

We have been using Autobahn for greater than 20 years, the hands have changed a couple of times, yet the staff, mechanics/technicians are absolutely the best. The care given to ensure my vehicles are performing properly; the friendliness of the front desk; to providing an explanation to the service rendered and, always a cheerful atmosphere in the shop. The vehicles get serviced for the reason for bringing them in and, leave with a shine to a freshly washed and cleaned car each time. I feel as if the techs take exceptional pride in their work. Finally, I do not feel I am overpaying for the service rendered. read more

I've been taking my BMW 5 series X Drive to Sewell BMW in Plano for the past 8 years. I spent $2000 in repair work this past Jan. Recently, my water pump went and Sewell BMW gave me a $2600.00 repair estimate to replace my water pump. I am unemployed at the moment and that is a lot of money. I asked Sewell to work with me since I've been a loyal customer. They refused! I made some calls to local foreign car repair shops and I was fortunate to find Autobahn Service Center. They treated me like a family member coming to them for HELP. They worked with me and gave me a much lower quote. They offered me a ride home since I have one car. Then they fixed my car! It was READY THE NEXT DAY! Allen the Manager is very friendly and honest. Ray their reception person was very helpful and kind. I found a new repair shop for my BMW. I highly recommend Autobahn Service Center! read more

I like to give credit where credit is due. Alan was professional from the minute I walked through the door and once he recognized my military background it was mutual respect for both of our years of service. This place is about the classiest auto shop I've seen in a long time. These guys tell you exactly what's wrong without trying to charge you unnecessary fees. If you need any vehicle maintenance, please go to this place to get the BEST service around DFW metro!! Salute to Autobahn for outstanding service!!! read more

I had an experience of excellence at Autobahn SC in Plano. They installed a new battery in my Mercedes quickly and professionally. It is sometimes hard to find honest and transparent assistance when it comes to my car care but Farnoosh and Ray were beyond helpful and trustworthy. They were knowledgeable, friendly and took great care of my car. Pricing was fair and the service was TOP NOTCH! Really appreciate Autobahn SC as a whole and thanks to all the techs at the SC--all my continued maintenance needs will continue to be here! read more

Autobahn service center is very professional and Eric and his crew are super nice and welcoming. I take my 27 year old Audi here whenever I can't perform a repair or do maintenance, and they perform outstanding service while prices being reasonable. They also go above and beyond and give a DIY'er like me some advice and help. I also like the fact they update the Carfax and list the services they finish! The only place I'll take my Audi to be worked on is here. Customer for life. read more

Autobahn has worked on both our vehicles and always does a great job. Their service is excellent and everyone is always friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. They offer fair pricing and are always honest about the work needed and don't try to upsell unnecessary services. They finish work quickly and their facilities are clean and welcoming. Highly recommend! read more

I could not be happier with the service I received from Autobahn Service Center The technicians are very knowledgeable and honest The staff are very polite, friendly and professional They were so helpful with my schedule and are getting the repair done around my work schedule They charged very reasonable price I got quotes from couple places but no one else could beat their quote. They also offer a 3 year warranty, and shuttle service. I highly recommend this business who's looking for good service and great prices. read more

Great service, accurate quotes, timely work, and wonderful team working on your car. Repaired an AC system issue at 1/3 the amount quoted by Sewell. Also did a full work up with accurate estimates and performed the work without up-selling for additional items. read more

New to the area so was looking for a service center to service my foreign sports car. Found Autobahn on Yelp and the positive reviews checked out - great service and follow up. No hidden fees if you know what I mean. So far had an oil change and a break job and I'm a satisfied customer. read more

Amazing service!!! Will definitely keep going back. They are reliable, proces are great and their service is exceptional. I am so happy tonhave found them! read more

Alan was very transparent and helpful. I think think is a very fair shop and you wont get the same consideration from the dealership. They swapped a couple extra seals at cost since they were "already in there" and no additional labor was required to access. Can't see this happening at the dealership where you're often charged whatever the assigned labor hours are per job. Also went out of his way to give me some direction on a larger issue that I may be able to take up with Audi and get covered under a service bulletin. Only downside was the loaner car was old (2004) and headlights weren't aligned well for night driving. One thing to note is that a loaner is a decision point for me to choose a shop as I don't like the extra steps & cost of arranging a rental. read more

I cannot express how grateful I am to have had this place recommended to me. I needed to have coolant put in my car, only to discover many places do not service Audis. They spoke to me quickly, listened to what I needed, looked at my car, and took care of me in record time. This place is honest, and will be upfront about cost of any and all services. You could not ask for better. read more

Brought in a 2008 e350 for an alignment. Said they needed a part to do it. 3 ++ hours later.....the car already had the part installed. WOW they apparently don't know BENZ claiming European. And then told me to look at a collision center for assistance. They don't have the complete alignment tools for Mercedes vehicles. 1car owner. No accident car. And still charged me for an alignment they could not bring in to specs with no bad ball joints or anything else. read more

My recent experience with Autobahn Service Center was nothing short of excellent. My Acura ILX was having trouble starting so I brought it to a local dealership for a diagnostic test. The price they quoted me was absolutely absurd considering the cost of the part. Fortunately, I remembered that my auto glass repairman had recommended Autobahn Service Center as an honest mechanic, so I gave them a call even though Plano is a bit of a haul for me. I'm so glad that I did! They replaced my starter and changed my oil within a few hours. They didn't even have the starter in stock at the time I dropped my car off, so I was floored by how fast they were able to get this done. To top it all off, the cost to replace my starter and change my oil was LESS THAN HALF the cost that the dealership had quoted me just to replace my starter! I would recommend these guys to anybody. I'm so glad (as a transplant) that I've found an honest auto mechanic here in the DFW area. read more

Alan and Ray are simply a girl's best friend. They've serviced 2 of my vehicles along with my daughter and spouse. Everything they do is an added value without an added charge. Simply greeting you when you walk in is phenomenal. The workmanship is quality and the value is the best read more

I decided it would be fun to look into purchasing me a second car. We found this place on yelp and decided it would be smart to get a pre-purchase inspection done before we got too far into talking financials with the seller. I made an appointment with Autobahn. The place has a very nice waiting area with free drinks and snacks for customers. Plus they also have Wi-Fi in case you decide to wait and still need to have internet access. :) The mechanics went through the entire car with what must have been a magnifying glass because they presented me with a list of major repairs the car needed in order to make it dependable. Yes, I paid $100 for the inspection but it was money well spent. Once it was clear the repairs would cost more money than the car was even worth I was given advice on the years and makes of cars that would fit my criteria well and be a good vehicle. If I do decide to continue the search for a fun vehicle I will definitely return to Autobahn for an inspection. read more

The folks at Autobahn are the the absolute best I have ever experienced. They understand the stress their clients are experiencing over having their vehicle serviced, and respond with organized timing of the repairs so the labor fees are minimized, not the way the dealerships do it. I am thrilled to recommend Autobahn. read more

Called first thing this morning to see if I could get my Mercedes in as my check engine light came on. I am new to the area and saw Autobahn had great reviews. It's an easy choice if your looking to get your car fixed. I called around to 5-7 places to get quotes to replace a cracked rim. Most of the quotes ranged from $45-$50 to put on a new rim and balance the wheels, but Autobahn quoted me significantly less. They offered me multiple options, and the service was quick. All of this is what you expect from a mechanic except for such great prices, which was an added bonus, but on top of this they even washed my car for no charge... I was very happy with this, as I was going to get a wash anyways. The price of the service was as much as a car wash would've been. I also forgot my cracked rim at their store and they offered to drive it back to my house. OVERALL: Great experience for a first time customer who's new to the area. 6/5 stars read more

Recommend this place! Excellent job!!! And Customer service is always pleasant. I wish I didn't have to move far away from them. Highly recommended!!! read more

Being new to the area, it really sucks to have to find a good trust worthy mechanic all over again. Alot of my neighbors on NextDoor app recommended Autobahn so I thought I might give it a try. They fixed my A/C in my Audi and replaced the brakes. Not knowing alot about cars, I asked my friend who is an Audi/Porsche mechanic (out of state) about the price and the brakes part Autobahn would use and he thought I was getting an excellent deal. This says alot!! I also took my Lexus CT in to have my brakes checked after a coworker's uncle (who is a mechanic) said I needed new brakes. I didn't believe him so I decided to have Autobahn check it out. They said my brakes were just fine and nothing needs to be done. If a shop checks your car for you for free and tells you that nothing needs to be done to your car and then send you home...you know they are their to help and not take advantage of the situation. I will be taking both my cars to them!! read more

MB of Plano wanted $7800 for repairs. Ray and team did it for $3100. Obviously one service center was honorable and fair. Ty Autobahn!

Great sense of urgency, professional, respectful and honest. Highly responsive communicators, refreshingly unpretentious and eager to get the job done. Alan and his team are the best. Highly recommended. Thank you for making my day! I found my new car repair place! read more

Autobahn takes amazing care of my Mercedes GLC and I'll never go anywhere else! They're honest and provide the best work for a great price. Absolutely the most honest auto shop in North Dallas / Plano area. First time customer. Repairs went quick and they provided good service. I had an issue with what I assumed was due to the repair. I was without a car for the weekend and had to tow it to the shop.. They did the right thing and repaired it for free. I now have a new shop I'll be using in the future and recommend Autobahn to new customers. read more

Went to Autobaun for the first time yesterday. We have 3 European Cars in the family and I was tired of going to dealership to over pay or to local repair shops (I live in Prosper, TX) that did not focus on foreign cars and would often misdiagnose the issue so I would end up paying twice. It was a great experience. I felt the items they identified were spot on and the rates were way more reasonable that a dealership. I could tell immediately when I drove off the car was driving better and the issues had been fixed. This will be my shop of choice going forward even though it is a bit of a drive to get there. read more

Wish they had the same exact branch, customer service, friendly people and all in San Diego (CA). I wish I had known about them sooner as well. Dallas, you need to yelp more because this Cali girl relies on your comments. That said, love this place. They really do treat you well and their service is affordable. Very accommodating and while professional, also very welcoming and friendly. They even provide a complimentary transportation to and from. My driver was the sweetest! Very friendly, easy to talk to and super cool! Service was above and beyond what I had expected and when I got my car back, it was washed, dried, vacuumed - and get this, you ready? My tires were dressed and shined as well! Amazing. BMW Service center doesn't even do that! I got invited back to just hang out even. Seriously - doesn't get any better than this. Thank you guys!! Please open more branches and please open them extending all the way to San Diego. Thank you!! read more
