I took my 20 year old car in for new brakes (upgrade) and it had a coolant leak I asked them to diagnose. Turns out it was the water pump, and it was throwing a code for the fan clutch, so he suggested I replace that as well - since it had to come off to get the new water pump in anyway. The new fan clutch was unbalanced and failed after driving for a day, ripping its own harness off, causing a short that prevented the vehicle from starting once I arrived home. I called and talked to Elite Performance, and they had my vehicle towed back in to repair it. They switched to another brand of fan clutch and replaced it at no charge. Stand-up guys! I will be taking it back to get the engine tuned soon. read more

I took my son's car here for the water pump to be replaced. However, the serpentine belt popped and the car ran hot again. I had to have my son's car tow all the way from Houston back here because he goes to school in the area. When I contacted the owner John about the issue, he told me to utilize the warranty company they had in place when I spoke with them they stated they didn't have any service providers in the area. When I got the car towed back here, the tow truck driver informed me that it was my water pump because he saw the serpentine belt under the car. I contacted John the owner about the issue and he began to argue with me and stated that they didn't even do the water pump repair although I was reading off of the. Once he finally reviewed the receipt and acknowledge that I had the water pump replaced or I brought the car for the water pump He stated that they didn't touch the serpentine belt. However, you can't fix the water pump without replacing the serpentine belt. I'm not sure if the car was even prepared and they kept the car for over a week. Don't waste your money. read more

I felt the need to write a review for these guys which I don't typically do. My car broke down and just by chance I pulled into their parking lot. I called the next Monday and they pulled it in and sent me pictures within an hour. Turned out the engine was irreparable, so they looked for new and used options for me, got me a price and gave me all the time I needed to make a decision. They treated me like a customer before I even was guaranteed to be one. When I decided to get the engine replaced, they had it done in about a week. If I didn't live so far, I would use them as my regular mechanic. Also they told me they will do anything from regular maintenance to major repairs to custom work!
