Our 2010 dodge grand caravan has been acting up for well over a year now…read more Prior to living here in McKinney, we spent 1 year in California where we had our van looked after by a friendly mechanic who could not fix the issue despite his best efforts. Months of investigating why our wipers would randomly turn on, why all of the sensors would flash on and off, why the engine would sporadically turn off, and why our van acted as if it were haunted. We had multiple parts of the van updated and still it would randomly freak out. Last week we had a nail in our tire and took it to Paul at meineke off Eldorado to swap our broken tire for one we had in storage, and I ended up explaining the wild things happening and he asked to keep the vehicle for a couple days which we were more than okay with. The shop is busy, so we recognize we needed to have patience. In ONE visit, Paul and his team sorted out there was a broken wire and faulty piece in the driver door that was triggering things. One visit. So, yah, we would recommend this location to others. Cheers!

I just bought a truck from someone that got the head gaskets replaced here. Tell me why the engine…read morewas knocking and I took the intake plenum off the engine and the reason it was knocking was from someone leaving a 13mm socket in the oil valley. Which now ruined the engine. I cannot express this enough do NOT take your car here for anything more than basic maintenance. I'm in Shock that yall would let anyone leave the shop like this. Who ever is in charge if you want information about the vehicle to see who worked on this truck please respond I can call and give you everything.

Turns out it was the water pump, and it was throwing a code for the fan clutch, so he suggested I replace that as well - since it had to come off to get the new water pump in anyway. The new fan clutch was unbalanced and failed after driving for a day, ripping its own harness off, causing a short that prevented the vehicle from starting once I arrived home. I called and talked to Elite Performance, and they had my vehicle towed back in to repair it. They switched to another brand of fan clutch and replaced it at no charge. Stand-up guys! I will be taking it back to get the engine tuned soon.

I had to have my son's car tow all the way from Houston back here because he goes to school in the area. When I contacted the owner John about the issue, he told me to utilize the warranty company they had in place when I spoke with them they stated they didn't have any service providers in the area. When I got the car towed back here, the tow truck driver informed me that it was my water pump because he saw the serpentine belt under the car. I contacted John the owner about the issue and he began to argue with me and stated that they didn't even do the water pump repair although I was reading off of the. Once he finally reviewed the receipt and acknowledge that I had the water pump replaced or I brought the car for the water pump He stated that they didn't touch the serpentine belt. However, you can't fix the water pump without replacing the serpentine belt. I'm not sure if the car was even prepared and they kept the car for over a week. Don't waste your money.
