Bill is friendly and knowledgeable. He recharged my AC and it's blowing cold air again. His pricing can't be beat.

Very nice and humble gentleman. Was a quick in and out with a cold breezy A/C. Affordable and quick without any gimmicks.

Beware of duplicate labor charges, extreme hourly rates, and scheduling games…read more I hired D&D Mobile Mechanics for front suspension and wheel hub work on my family's AWD SUV. While the initial diagnostic visit was fine (for which I paid an $80 fee that was promised to go toward future repairs), the billing and customer service that followed were deeply concerning. 1. Blatant Labor Stacking: Their initial quote was $800+ in labor alone (with me supplying 100% of the brand-new parts). Included in their quote was a $140 line item specifically to replace hardware and links that are already required to be disassembled to replace the struts and wheel hubs. They were essentially charging standalone book rates for parts they already had to remove for the primary jobs. 2. Extreme Hourly Rates (By Their Own Admission): Because this was a major front-end job involving struts and hubs on driveway jack stands, I asked for a first-morning slot to ensure proper daylight, rather than a late afternoon arrival window. In response, their dispatcher dismissed my concerns and put in writing that: "these are straightforward repairs... it would take a couple of hours, and that's true." Consider the math: If this is truly a 2-hour job, their labor quote represents an effective rate of $340 to $420 per hour for driveway labor in cash/Zelle. That is higher than exotic luxury dealership rates, done on residential concrete. If it actually takes 4 to 5 hours (the standard time on jack stands), then forcing a late afternoon start meant recklessly rushing critical steering and bearing work into the dark. 3. The Scheduling Runaround: Communication was very slow, with basic scheduling texts going unanswered for nearly 20 hours. When I asked to simply reschedule to the following week for an open morning slot, the dispatcher stonewalled, claimed their calendar had zero morning openings for weeks, admitted they are "a small business with 1 mechanic & limited availability," and pushed me to cancel. They essentially pocketed an $80 diagnostic fee, attempted to bill $350+/hr for driveway labor, and gave me the runaround the moment I insisted on fair labor overlap and adequate daylight. Save yourself the frustration and take your vehicle to an established, brick-and-mortar local shop with hydraulic lifts and transparent billing.

Our 2010 dodge grand caravan has been acting up for well over a year now…read more Prior to living here in McKinney, we spent 1 year in California where we had our van looked after by a friendly mechanic who could not fix the issue despite his best efforts. Months of investigating why our wipers would randomly turn on, why all of the sensors would flash on and off, why the engine would sporadically turn off, and why our van acted as if it were haunted. We had multiple parts of the van updated and still it would randomly freak out. Last week we had a nail in our tire and took it to Paul at meineke off Eldorado to swap our broken tire for one we had in storage, and I ended up explaining the wild things happening and he asked to keep the vehicle for a couple days which we were more than okay with. The shop is busy, so we recognize we needed to have patience. In ONE visit, Paul and his team sorted out there was a broken wire and faulty piece in the driver door that was triggering things. One visit. So, yah, we would recommend this location to others. Cheers!

I just bought a truck from someone that got the head gaskets replaced here. Tell me why the engine…read morewas knocking and I took the intake plenum off the engine and the reason it was knocking was from someone leaving a 13mm socket in the oil valley. Which now ruined the engine. I cannot express this enough do NOT take your car here for anything more than basic maintenance. I'm in Shock that yall would let anyone leave the shop like this. Who ever is in charge if you want information about the vehicle to see who worked on this truck please respond I can call and give you everything.
