He was able to run the diagnostics, including UV leak test, make the necessary repairs, and recharge the Freon for a small fraction of the price of auto shops. And the best part is the wait time is much shorter than at shops. He's about 10 minutes away from me (I'm in Frisco), so dropping off my car worked out well. Turns out it was the water pump, and it was throwing a code for the fan clutch, so he suggested I replace that as well - since it had to come off to get the new water pump in anyway. The new fan clutch was unbalanced and failed after driving for a day, ripping its own harness off, causing a short that prevented the vehicle from starting once I arrived home. I called and talked to Elite Performance, and they had my vehicle towed back in to repair it. They switched to another brand of fan clutch and replaced it at no charge. Stand-up guys! I will be taking it back to get the engine tuned soon.
