I would highly recommend Jakes Mobile Wrenches. They respect a lady and do not play with extra charges. Jake was on time, gave me a discount that was listed in his ad, explained to me the charges, clearly and gave me a reasonable price for an expansion valve for the AC. Other mechanics have told me I need the compressor and the AC condensor and those are not cheap charges. Jake said exactly what was wrong, and only fixed what needed to be fixed. My battery was bad so he went ahead and got me one. I am very satisfied with the customer service, the mechanic services, the punctuality and the friendliness of this business. My experience on day 1, the mechanic came out to my house diagnosed my car. My complaint was that my battery wouldn't stay charge we thought it was the alternator but he said it was the battery. He mentioned the battery was swollen and would need replacing but continue to fix the terminals which he said was the problem. As soon as he left I drove my car and immediately started to smell a bad smell. The very next morning I end up stranded , my battery was smoking. Car went Dead. Call roadside to tow car home. Called this guy to come back out to my house just to change my old battery out for the new one. He said there was a warranty on the work he had done the day before. I was very disappointed because I paid JAKE $307 plus a tip on day 1 not even 24 hours later I had to give him $103 just to pull up to install a battery. Really?? A good honest mechanic would not have allowed me to ride off with a busted battery, a good honest mechanic would have told me that that battery need to be replaced immediately not within 6 months , a good mechanic would not cheat people! I'm very disappointed in how this was handled. I do not recommend him. read more
