Had this place recommended for a coolant leak, by my 4x4 and lift suspension guy over at 4wheelparts. Bobby got it in the same day and they did a great job diagnosing the problem and a couple noises I was also concerned about. Had it back to me the next day with the coolant issue resolved and also went the extra mile to fix a vibrating exhaust pipe and compression tank at no extra charge. It's been surprisingly difficult to find mechanics that are extra knowledgeable in 4x4, lifted and specialty jeeps. So I really appreciate the quickness and extra care that was taken. STAY AWAY from these people!!! I took in my Dodge Ram in for a very minor repair. It was to replace a headlight and taillight bulb. That's it but, like all folks who take a vehicle in I asked for it to be checked out. You know look it over. Now, before I took it in my Dodge Ram drove perfect. I barely drive it. Why? My Dad before he passed away. Gave the Dodge to my Autistic son. My Dad took great care of the truck for years. It had brand new tires. The interior was fantastic. It drove perfect. Then, I made the mistake of letting these people touch it. What happened? Well first, I got told I needed to replace two CAD converters. I informed him I don't have the money to do that . Not now. It was Christmas time 2025 I was tapped out of funds. So, my other son picked up the Dodge Ram. Drove down 75 and had problems getting it drive right. He would push the gas pedal down and it really had a hard time getting up to speed. Ok......it never did that before. So I took it back in. Hey, something is wrong I told them. My Dodge Ram is having trouble and it was not like that when I dropped it off to you. Weeks later I get a call. They checked it out, nothing is wrong. So, this time I picked it up. Well......my fantastic interior in the truck..... middle seat was cut two inches with sharp blade. On top of that, they tried to hide the cut by putting the middle seat down. I never have it down. I drove off anyway ( I did complain later) to check out how the truck was running. Same problem. So, again I take it back. This time the owner Bobby check it out personally. Week later. I get a call. Nothing is wrong with it. It's fine but now.....I need....get this.....New control arms! Oh, trucks middle seat is still cut. (Damaged by them) I tried to let them do the right thing. They could not. I'm very hurt for my Autistic son. His truck is nothing like it was. What hurts me more is I'm not financially capable of fixing it for him. I feel like I let him down. The truck did get looked at by another mechanic. A friends mechanic. The CAD converters are very clogged up. How did that happen? I wonder....... . maybe just maybe a Dodge Ram went in for two light bulbs. A very minor situation. Then came out needing a major repair and a damaged seat to boot. read more

I had my vehicle towed here out of the recommendation of the tow truck driver. I hadn't heard of this place before but I needed my only vehicle fixed so I went along with it. My car was towed there on a Friday afternoon. Because they were super busy on Saturday and they close at 1 pm, I was told that my car would not get looked at until Monday. On Monday, I called and they still had not inspected my car. By the next day, I wss told that I had a busted radiator. I chose to let them to the work and had my car back by Wednesday afternoon. The owner suggested an additional service but I declined. While I believe they did good work, I'm not sure I would bring my car here for any other major service. read more

I went to get my inspection done yesterday and I can't because my parking brake doesn't work at all. The same parking brake that Auto Fix It took apart and "put back together" when they did my brake job. I called yesterday to confront Bobby about my parking brake and he said hey never touched it. However, when he was working on my vehicle I had to wait extra time because Bobby said "The KID who took the parking brake apart is putting it all back together now." Maybe some actual mechanics at this store could actually do some good, not just the good ol' boys club. I still can't believe that this business is even running. I brought my Jeep here with a list of things the Firestone mechanic said needed to be fixed. I called and spoke to Bobby. We went over the list on the phone so I could get some quotes. My list include a oil pan gasket, steering hose replacement, and rotors. After taking a look he told me the transmission hose is what needed replaced and that a oil filter sensor needed replaced. All the leaks are now resolved. He told me the other hoses and issues were fine. He also said the rotors were thin and probably would need to be replaced shortly but did not immediately need to be replaced. Bobby kept in regular contact with me via text on updates. I brought my Jaguar XF in because of a rough idle and a check engine light on which I know is generally better off at a dealership but I was hoping it was something simple. Initially they told me to call and check if I had an extended warranty in an attempt to "save me money". Since I did not, they took my car and said they might not be able to fix it because I had 16 service lights that were lighting up and they didn't have the technology to read what the service codes were; they said only a jaguar place would be able to read it. They also told me it was more than likely a fuel hose that they saw that was damaged so I had them fix it. I know that was already my second mistake but I was hoping for the best. When I picked my car up, it immediately started up the same way that it had before and the check engine light was still on. They then told me that sometimes it takes a while for the check engine light to go off and to give it a couple days and if it was still doing the same thing to bring it back.I know I am a fool but again, they were the "professionals" so I trusted them. Two days later I brought it back and they told me they wouldn't charge me for another diagnostic, once they ran that they informed me that they knew what was wrong, it was something to do with it being supercharged and it would cost about $1,000. Because no where else would take a diagnostics test run by another shop and I googled the part online and saw that it was about $600-$700 I assumed that was par for the course. When I picked my car up two days later, the start up was subdued and the check engine light was off. Less than a day and a half later it was back. I called them and they told me "we were just doing process of elimination and there were still other check engine lights on that they couldn't read and at that point I gave up. I'm just going to put this out there, I don't think anyone should go here. Whether you have a luxury car or not, I don't think that they will be honest with you, and they will manipulate you at any opportunity. I know I was ignorant, naive, and uninformed but either way they took advantage where they could and basically stole from me. read more

I changed my battery here 1 year ago, suddenly it stopped working so my husband took care of it.... he took battery and brought to O'railey (apparently they buying their batteries there) they said they can't charge it -it's 3 y.old battery! This place is not run ethically. They overcharge for everything and take advantage of people who aren't familiar with cars (example: My mom ended up with a $300 bill for 5 new spark plugs and 1 new coil after taking her car here experiencing minor power loss). I thought the $300 had to be a mistake when I found out what the work was for, so I went back in a few hours later with the receipt to ask. The woman at the desk got really defensive and started going off about how they charge much less per hour than other shops ($90 an hour vs $120) and how they had a $150 diagnostic fee included in the $300 price, despite the fee not being listed on the receipt or work order. She also claimed they used manufacturer spark plugs at no extra charge, so they were really doing us a favor. A few months later, after experiencing transmission-like problems, my mom took her car here again and they replaced the engine mounts. I believe the price tag was close to $1,000. Later, her car continued to have the same problems as before. I've read online that having bad motor mounts can actually stress your transmission and create problems if not taken care of. She took her car in for a second opinion (without telling them anything) and they told her the motor mounts needed to be replaced, even though she had JUST had them done a couple months back at Auto Fix It. I brought in a good friend of mine (who is a mechanic) to come take a look. Unfortunately, my good friend oversees a dealership and doesn't have time to take on any additional projects himself, as I really trust him to do a good job :(. Anyways -- my friend takes one look, and says the motor mounts weren't installed properly. He even showed me the way the engine tried to jump out of the engine bay when he shifted gears. It was awful. He said he could tell the metal was new on the motor mounts, but whoever did it missed an extra bolt. He said it was the kind of work he would have done when he was a beginner or did not give a shit about the person's car. He said it was a "sloppy job". So, my mom took her car back to Auto Fix It, and they denied anything being abnormal with the motor mounts. My mom sat and waited for an hour, then the lady at the front suggested my mom go out for some breakfast, as "who knows how long it would be" before they could get her car onto the lift to look at it. My mom said it was extremely obvious they wanted to get rid of her for a few hours, so she took the bait and left. When she came back, the mechanic pulled her out onto the shop floor and "showed" her how normal everything was. She told him about my friend's opinion and they argued with her, claiming that my friend was trying to scam us (ha, yeah right!) They went back and forth. The mechanic refused to fix or acknowledge the problem so my mom left. Then, magically, on the way home... my mom noticed the transmission wasn't kicking like it had been for the past few months. When she brought the car home, I took a look at it, and sure enough -- they'd added the missing bolt and fixed the problem while my mom was out to eat. Sneaky fail. I just cannot trust a shop that charges $300 for a 30-minute or less job, then refuses to take responsibility for their errors and tries to pull a fast one over their customers. It isn't right. I cannot sing praises loud enough for Auto Fix It & it's manager, Bobby Caldwell!!! Nearly a year ago, I was selling one of my cars & it had some mechanical issues that needed to be repaired before I could do so. When I spoke to my dealer about said repairs, I was quoted am excruciating price & given a lengthy wait time. I googled for local mechanics with great reviews & this place came up. Bobby got my car in immediately & fixed everything for an extremely reasonable price! I was thrilled that I could, then, sell my car in good conscience. & the young man who bought it for me says it's not given him a single problem in all the time he's had it. Secondly, I have a leased car that is almost due to be turned in & my air conditioning stopped working. Again, my dealer told me it would take some time. More importantly, even though any repair would be covered under my warranty, he quoted a $160. diagnostic test fee! To me, that was absurd!!! Bobby got me right in, again...& found the problem. & he DIDN'T charge me!!!! So, I was able to go to the dealer & have them repair it for free, with the information Bobby had given me. Being a woman, a LOT of car "folks" are very condescending & abrasive in their demeanor towards me. Bobby treats me with respect, which is most appreciated & he explains things that are beyond my basic knowledge. I ABSOLUTELY trust him & his technicians! They are thorough, MORE than fair, give above & beyond quality service & expedite one's requests. This business is under new ownership and they have taken it to a BRAND NEW LEVEL! Customer service is great. They are honest and very knowledgeagle. They go that "extra" step. For example, in addition to engine work and a power window motor, I wanted the messed up window tint replaced on the driver side. Auto Fix It doesn't do tint work, however, he offered to take it to a guy who does and get it taken care for me and just add the small replacement charge to my bill. It doesn't get much better than that. I feel so much better having an "honest" mechanic in my phone book, one who is fair and whose integrity is in tact! read more
