Spent over 250.00 on a Synthetic oil change and flush. Car did not sound normal. I had a mechanic look at it. He decided to check my oil and it was a more than a half qtr low. Please double check your oil level if you go here. Also they did not reset my computer. POOR SERVICE FOR 250.00 read more

My girlfriend used to go here for oil changes. They make it simple for her, she drops the car off and they handle the rest. Since shes not going to a normal dealership something told me to check her coolant levels which they were dangerously low. My thought is if they are changing her oil and filters, wouldn't they have let her know about the coolant levels while being under the hood? I guess it isn't their job to do that, but it's right there in your face. Something told me to check her oil that she just got changed by these guys a month ago. Her oil had not been changed nor the filter. Cant say for sure how long they've been doing this but they wont be seeing her again read more

Very dissatisfied :-( I took my vehicle to Jiffy Lube in Wylie, Texas to have a simple light bulb replaced, and it ended up costing me far more than expected. During the service, they shorted out my fuse block, which resulted in significant electrical issues. I had to take my car to a ASE certified mechanic to get it properly diagnosed and repaired at my own expense. What is worse, is the complete lack of accountability from Jiffy Lube. I have tried multiple times to reach out via phone and email, but they have ignored all my attempts to resolve this issue. I expected a company like Jiffy Lube to take responsibility for their mistakes, but they' have shown NO interest in making it right. I would strongly caution others to think twice before trusting this location with your vehicle. A small job turned into a costly, frustrating experience that could have been avoided with proper care and customer service. read more

These guys are not in it to supply any kind of value to you getting your oil changed. IMO: Synthetic oil changes shouldn't cost a base of $99. That's high. On the other hand, the customer service was great. The tech was very good with communication and let me know my air filters were due. Failed the state inspection for a chunk missing from the side wall of the tire, but didn't charge me, which will allow me to get it fixed and go back to get the inspection. read more

This is my second time there. It was raining and when I drove up, the guys were keeping busy, cleaning, & straightening up the shop. The first gentleman waived me right into the bay to get my state inspection, they were attentive, polite, & helpful. Justin walked me into the office where Tim Canada helped get me taken care of. He was very friendly and funny. They met all my vehicle needs and then some. I actually work for Lexus headquarters in Plano and I must say they give the same or better level of service our dealer network and guests have come to expect. Well done Jiffy Lube staff! Went in shortly before 10 am on 10/4/21 for a vehicle inspection on my 2001 Cherokee, since Facebook kept showing me a 50% off coupon for Jiffy Lube. After a short wait it was taken in and about 10 min later i was told that it Failed due to computer unable to connect to OBD on the car and i should take it to "an electrical shop". Knowing that i just checked with my portable OBD II scanner the day before, while looking over light bulbs etc, i was surprised but had to go back home and recheck. Everything was working fine, scanner had no problem connecting to OBD, so i went back with the scanner, hoping they made a mistake Or didnt really want to honor the coupon so i gave them a chance to save face.. Came back and showed scanner plugged in and working, but they tried again and insisted theirs couldn't read my car. At this point i have been running around for a while but had no choice - went to another place a 2 miles down same road, waited another 45 min and passed with no issues on the 1st try. I have both reports in case Jiffy Lube wants to look. Thanks for having me waste 2 1/2 hours on this, over not liking the coupon your own company pushes around. Will be reporting to TX DPS under their Inspection Complaint form as well. read more

****Be prepared for a "up-sell"**** Let me start by saying I have used Jiffy Lube for years at the locations in Plano and have had nothing but positive prior experiences and I was really excited to see this location being built in Wylie. When I arrived at the new location it was very clean, brand new and the staff was friendly.I came in on the last day of the month for just a state inspection. The shop was not busy and they got me right in for the inspection which was great. However, a few minutes after arriving the service advisor walked in holding my vehicles air filter and needed to discuss what my vehicle needed to pass the inspection. They said I needed a new windshield wiper blade which would cost $39 for one blade when you can get comparable ones for way less at local auto part stores and are usually that price for a pair of wiper blades and not just one. They said the inspection would fail without the wiper blade. With it being the last day of the month I had to buy the wiper blade unless I wanted to spend a day at the DMV buying my registration. They said my air filter looked good but that is the part that really frustrates me. I have never had a facility check my air filter as part of a state inspection which really made me feel like they were trying to find opportunities to "up-sell" me as much as possible. I could only imagine what would be "needed" had I came in for an oil change or some other type of service. Needless to say, I am very disappointed in the "up-sell" culture instilled at this location. Again, all of the employees at this location were professional and friendly. However, I will stick with what I know and go to other oil change stations in the Wylie area for future service. read more

I wonder if these guys know that they are about 30 to 40 percent MORE EXPENSIVE than their competitors on an oil change. Brand spanking new and already too expensive. Full synthetic is 99 bucks here, but it's 69 bucks everywhere else. read more

Been to this Jiffy lube twice now. Once for an oil change and then I came back for my inspection. The manager there is great. He is very kind, informative, and respectful. He remembered who I was, which was nice because it made me feel welcomed. They were very efficient on time and the rest of the staff was friendly and kind as well. I took my car for an oil change after work a couple nights ago.. the guy that greeted me was super nice and led me to the waiting area and told me that it wouldn't take very long. I sat for a few minutes and this older gentleman with a beard came in carrying my air filters, he did his usual recommendations on changing them and I politely declined.. I'm sure being told no all the time isn't a fun process, but I could easily go and buy the air filters myself and change them for a lot cheaper, not that I voiced that. Anyways, with his ego I guess bruised he went back into the garage to finish up my car.. Now I'm going to say this so that ALL OF THE PEOPLE WORKING THERE KNOWS.. the window from the waiting area looking out into the garage is in fact, NOT sound proof. I guess getting told no really hurt this guy's feelings because the rude remarks about me declining new air filters was heard by me all the way in the waiting area. My oil was changed, my windows were washed and my carpets were vacuumed. But the "manager" that got his feelings hurt by being told no is the reason I can honestly say that this jiffy lube sucks! read more

I never write review or look at social media, in fact this is my first post! The guys at jiffy lube were outstanding. I went in for a state inspection and they made a few fixes so that we could pass inspection and did not try to overcharge me for the work. I am usually skeptical of car repair places and will be taking our vehicles back here. read more

Absolutely horrible Service. Another customer there at the same time said it perfectly. "They need to removed the JIFFY from their name. There were 3 of us standing at the counter forever. When they finally came in they just told us to all pull around to the bays. Then why don't they put up a sign to tell us that so we aren't standing there forever. It took over an hour and a half to do a simple oil change and inspection when they were seemingly dead. The guy in charge was impossible to understand. He rambled in a mumble that nobody could understand what he was saying. I even asked several other customers if it was just me. They all laughed and said they could barely follow what he was saying. He needs to slow down, only say what is necessary and speak clearly. This was my first and last visit here. You guys missed the opportunity to build relationships with new customers for your new location. Good luck. read more
