Top line is top quality! Went for an oil change, which they have a special running. This is a…read morequality shop all the way. Very knowledgeable, great hospitality and clean inviting waiting room had me in and out in under 30 minutes. Unlike these drive through places, they actually look at your whole car and recommend repairs. Mine didn't need anything else, another plus as most places sell you useless fitted etc be fire you need them. Anyway brought my daughter back with her car that had been serviced recently by the dealer. Top line identified several issues that they had either overlooked or created. They recommend not to drive the car in its current condition and went out of there way to contact warranty company to get repairs covered! Who does that? They even fixed the AC problem she had been complaining about to the dealer since she bought the car and they just kept blowing her off. So if you need car repairs, don't hesitate to come here!

They also called us out into the shop to look at our brake pads that need replacing also Even allowed me to use the measurement tool to show me how they were needing replacing very soon. These guys are extremely honest, very thorough and I give them five stars and a great big thumbs up for their service

I took my vehicle to the location in Sachse, TX off of St. Hwy 78 and had quite possibly the worst…read moreservice experience of my life at any auto shop.  When I arrived, the sticker on my vehicle stated it needed to be serviced at either 10/25/2026 or 55,500mi.   The date was 10/26/2026 and my mileage was at 57,200mi. This was from a previous Take 5 location.  The auto technician stated i wasn't due for an oil change. I referenced the sticker in the window and he said "That's just the half way number, you're not due yet."   I've had my oil changed for over 20 years in various locations throughout the country. I HAVE NEVER had a "Half way" sticker given to me that states "change your oil on XX/XX/XXXX" or a "Half-way" sticker at all. My vehicle was PAST the time it was due. I chose not to argue since perhaps I was wrong on this occasion.  As the experience came to an end, ( I also bought a new air filter since i didn't want to waste anyone's time there since i was no longer receiving the oil change i came for since it was... "half way" time) my vehicle wouldn't start.  Another man came up and they pulled up a vehicle to jump start my car. At this point, i'm confused as to why my vehicle wouldn't start but regardless, here we are. I hear the two techs talking about the jumper cables and one asked the other if they worked again. I heard a mumble but couldn't understand and they began to connect the two. After several failed attempts at starting my vehicle, another tech joined and seemed to be in charge. He walked over and looked at my battery and said "Oh, its dead, dead. You need a new battery. We'll push you out and you'll have to get towed."   Now i'm getting frustrated. You dont have another way of jumping a dead battery? not going to test the cables? not going to try another cable? just push me out and figure it out on my own? pay for a TOW TRUCK???  Im floored. I call my insurance company immediately for roadside service. I waited 45 minutes for my tow to arrive ( glad it came so quickly but more wasted time of mine ) and the tow truck driver immediately brought over his jumper set and started my vehicle first try in 20 seconds. Also a note here; Your supervisor said my battery was dead, dead. I had the accessory mode turned on from the moment they pushed me out till the tow arrived and tried starting my vehicle multiple times again. The fact i came here for an oil change and was told i didn't need one -Update I DID IN FACT NEED THE OIL CHANGE! what a surprise!  And ended up leaving with no oil change and a $150 bill for a tow truck because they couldn't start a battery that was mysteriously drained and immediately blamed my vehicle ( Which by the way, i have not replaced the battery and i have not had a single issue with the vehicle starting since ) and offered no support or help is INSANE. I'll never bring my business back here again.
