Tire Monday is not my favorite thing. Every day I take the time inspect my tires, hoses and brakes…read moreto see if I'm traveling safe. Today it looks like I need to replace 2 tires before I hit a nasty pothole and can pop them. I checked into this nice place about 11:20 am and the man said there would be an wait. I agreed to it because some big truck stops or other places it could take 6 or more hours and that's just to get in. At any rate 2 hours go by and he has me pull into the middle bay and changed the trailer tire fast. I turned my truck around so he could get to the other and it turned into a 3 hour project. They do have a nice tv lounge for customers that has coffee or hot chocolate and leather chairs to watch tv. There is a truck stop next door that has McDonald's if your hungry. They finished 2 tires within 5 hours but were very nice people and friendly. The price of $800 for 2 tires is just awesome so I'm not going to complain. They are very busy and take you in the order if you don't have an appointment. So maybe call 1st for an appointment to cut down on time waiting.

I made a special trip on Monday, and this was the only reason I left the house that day. When I arrived, I was told the inspector is there every day EXCEPT Monday. Recently, I went to the…read moreDallas location of Brake Plus for another oil change and only paid $160, which made me question the pricing here. Today, I called the Rockwall location, just 5 minutes from my home, to make an appointment. They quoted me $135 over the phone, but when I arrived, I was shocked to find out the price had jumped to $209. When I asked if they could match the Brake Plus price from Dallas, the owner flatly refused, claiming that oil prices had gone up. I reminded him that I had previously paid $209 here and only $160 at the Dallas location, but he dismissed my concerns with, "I own this business." While I appreciate his honesty, I cannot support a mechanic shop that operates with such a condescending attitude. I will be taking my business elsewhere in the future.
