Nice place. Large selection. Almost always busy. My main complaint is about the kids meals. They come with soda, milk, or water - no juice. My kids don't drink soda and we don't give our kids milk with meat. My kids love juice but it's not included in the kids meal. Many parents don't give their kids soda so juice should be included. Absolutely over priced. Ordered stuffed mushrooms with crab meat, under the appetizers, $14. We called cause we wanted to make sure the amount of mushrooms we usually get was anywhere from 4-6. With the cost of everything going up we called. John the manager who has been there 11 years gave an attitude and said they have always come with just 3 mushrooms. ARE YOU SERIOUS??? I will not be returning to Manny's Diner. While the staff is pleasant and the food okay, I am so tired of getting the WRONG food and missing items when I call in for a pick up order. Everything is always wrong and I have ordered 3 TIMES hoping that it will be better the next time. It never is. Also, who piles HOT french fries tightly packed on top of a COLD sandwich in one box???? This caused the mayo on the sandwich to turn into oil, the lettuce wilted on the sandwich from the heat, and the cheese was in between solid and melted. I stopped at Manny's for lunch as suggested by friends. I ordered a chef's salad - not very impressive but quite large and generally ok. One of my dining partners ordered a panini with sweet potato fries which looks like a pressed tortilla. It was large but not particularly appealing. The cream of broccoli soup looked good and was enjoyed by two people who ordered it. Perhaps the best looking sandwich was the grilled cheese with tomato which looked like a real ripe tomato. I called the restaurant in advance to ask about mock-tail accommodations for a group that could not drink, and normally orders things like a non-alcoholic mojito at places that do not have a premade mock-tail menu as it is the easiest to exclude the liquor from in my own personal experience. The manager spoke down to me about this question on multiple occasions, and told me to either come and try it for the same price or not to come at all. I feel it was a reasonable request to ask about before hand, and is one I have made at various other establishments. If I didnt have to go there for a work event, I wouldnt go at all. Our family usually goes to another restaurant in Westfield, but with a 45 minute wait we decided to try this place out. At Manny's we waited less than 10 minutes and our waitress was Rachel. She told us it was her first week at Manny's but it didn't seem like it, she was a natural and very attentive! Ordered the atomic bomb, western omelette and a waffle. One thing I did not like was that there was no kids menu for breakfast..what gives? We ordered a waffle for our child but that is the reason I took away a star. I understand restaurants lose on kids menu, but they make up for it in adult entrees. I have one child but what about those families that have three children? If I had more than one child it would be off putting to have to purchase separate adult entrees for each, to have to end up taking food home. Our daughters meal totaled $16 dollars for a waffle, side of bacon and a tiny milk.That was more expensive than my omelette, home fries, toast and alcoholic beverage..ouch! Speaking on family environment. I found Manny's to have a very family friendly feel. I saw a hostess lovingly pick up a toddler and show him the pastry display to distract him while his mom put her coat on. What a nice gesture! Ooo it's been a while since I've been here but I remembered how much I loved this place and decided to come back - the food is great as always but I find the servers a bit ditsy and chit chatting by the bar...not sure if it's because it was busy or what, but every single time I come here something is always missing (ex I order wine and had to remind the server that I ordered a glass of wine twice....we asked for a steak knife never received one...we asked for utensils because there was non on our table and never received them - had to ask the host) and the order never comes out as requested. I came down with Covid after eating at this diner. Though it's usually busy, the food is Very Mediocre. Not coming back.

Tonight, I ordered their fried chicken in the basket, which was hot on the outside, and ice-cold at the bone. The cook apparently threw the frozen chicken into the fryer. Waited for the waitress to come back to my table, but she did not. So I went to one of the young manager's told him the problem and he came over and physically touch the bone and verified it was as cold as I said. Very disappointed and had to order something else! When I went up to pay, I asked the person behind the counter if he was the owner, and turned out to be another manager. Neither manager did not even offer any sought of compensation. Second time here. 1st time was great. Tonight not so good. We called in an order for pickup which was 3 sandwiches and kiddie tenders. We had asked for cole slaw and pickles...never got it. My fried cod sandwich was to have tartar sauce....luckily I had mayo at home. My wife's Gyro wrap had Greek salad in it..wet Greek salad. The 1st bite made the wrap collapse. We have driven by this place several times and it always seems busy. We arrived for brunch and were seated quickly. The staff is very good. The food was disappointing. I had Swiss cheese omelet & home fries. The omelet was somewhat flat and not hot. The cheese was not even melted. The home fries were a bit dry and not seasoned. Very happy to have a diner back in Clark. I took the hubby for Sunday breakfast, and although crowded we were seated right away. Seems like there are less seats than Windsor and not many booths, but it felt more comfortable. Service was OK but my coffee cup was caked in cheese (I think? Whatever the yellow sticky-looking substance was... ewwww). We both had Manny's amigo omelet and it was great. Overall, Manny's offers a pretty typical diner experience. What a fantastic dinner! BF and I are in the area every saturday, and always looking for dinner options. We were both in the mood for a diner meal (he wanted eggs and I wanted a good salad). So Yelp lead us to Manny's. We were seated right away, and the first thing we noticed was how nice and clean it was. It also screams GREEK, which is a good sign. Our waitress brought us over the HUUUUUGE menus, and it was a bit hard to choose! BF got his standard French onion soup and a ham, cheddar and tomato omelette. I (am a PITA) and ordered the Tex Mex salad, added grilled shrimp, no cheese, no dressing and a side of grilled asparagus. It all came out perfect!! We enjoyed everything. Total bill pre-tip was $46, which is awesome. We left stuffed. They also have a full bar and a dessert martini list that is TO DIE for. I've been to Manny's diner a few times and it is a great NJ diner. The inside is big but be prepared to wait if you're heading in on a weekend morning- it gets crowded! The food is good, I've mainly had the breakfast options such as eggs, pancakes and the yogurt and granola. The staff is friendly and the prices are reasonable. This is a go to when I'm with the family in Jersey. Diners are a New Jersey staple, and Manny's does a solid job of living up to the name of a diner. The menu is endless, looking at it will take you a good 10 minutes. You can probably just pick something off the top of your head that you're in the mood for and it's on the menu. They are also very good at making changes/substitutions/additions. My go-to's are an omelette, turkey burger, or tuna salad sandwich on rye and they are all delicious. Make sure you order your home fries well done though. Or just do what I do and order sweet potato fries. The only reason that this gets 3 stars is because their service is incredibly slow. Even on an empty late-night, for some reason their kitchen takes a good amount of time to bring out your food. I've also had not the greatest service here, but obviously depends on the waiter. The kitchen frequently makes mistakes but are very accommodating if you tell them. I'll always been going here, however will probably never switch up my menu choices. We placed an order over the phone that was answered rudely and also wanted to charge us extra for the same thing we always get. Came to pick up the order and calmly tried explaining the situation to the person who answered the call. He was extremely defensive and rude. To make matters worse, the manager handled the situation very poorly. He walked away and didn't care to find out what the problem was. All we wanted was a simple apology but they were too proud.
